A pack of three at such a competitive price is not to be missed. Easy to add to your Wi-Fi. I paid 50 each for same product a year or so ago. Very good quality

I hardly ever leave reviews, but wow. Easiest wifi extender I have ever installed – beyond easy! Took me five mins to extend the wifi down to the bottom of my parents garden. Brilliant product sbd app – well done!!!

Easy to install and once installed they have been trouble free. This pair of units were purchased to replace a unit damaged by a dog and the new unit was fairly easy to add to the existing system. The 3 unit system gives much better coverage than just the single extender I had previously. A test now gives 73 Mbps download speed and 20 Mbps upload speed but I have seen speeds up to 100 Mbps when connected to my 100Mbps internet feed.

Bought this after struggling with Wi-Fi signal in the house. Placed 1 unit at the side of the router, 1 in the hall and the other in the conservatory. All problems solved. Highly recommend

I had been having trouble with a wifi extender for a while so intead of buying a 2nd extender to fill the other half of the house I opted into the mesh system. Didn’t have a clue how it worked but happy to report it works with my Virgin Media Hub 3 router. You just connect the include gigabit ethernet cable from your hub 3 to one of the 3 nodes included in the pack, download the app which lets you name it and add a password and done. The other two nodes then just plug in in the other rooms and all connect seamless. I have left the hub3 in router mode for ease of the devices I didn’t want to reconnect.
The box comes with 3 nodes, 3 plugs, 1 gigabit ethernet cable and instructions.

My extender only allowed 20mbps download speeds but I have already speed tested in the back room and got just under 60mbps in peak times so happy with the performance.

Each node has lan and lan and wan/lan ports incase you want a even further stable connection to the devices around it. You can also add any of the other nodes available if you want to extend further.

The app itself is basic but does the job for setup and doubt I’d use it much again.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersVisited parents for Christmas last year and the internet was a disaster. Router couldn’t handle the traffic at all, several dead spots throughout the house. Replaced their old BT router with 3 of these and things are now flying. The last gathering went off without a hitch even though we were all using our phones for a frantic session of Jackbox.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersPurchased 29/05/23 and delivered 30/05/23. Setup time was less than 15 minutes, which gave me full coverage in the house, and all of the garden. Everything works well, and I’ve manged to relegate an old pair of powerline adapters that were connecting a media server to the old router.

The only issue is with my Amazon Echo speaker; it drops out intermittently for a few seconds and then resumes play again. The interrupted playback is extremely frustrating, and sadly there is no resolution. I emailed Tenda customer services, who replied within an hour with the following:

“Thank you for contacting Tenda Support.
Unfortunately, we must confirm that currently there is not a proven incompatibility with Amazon Echo speakers, but sometimes they don’t work properly with our devices.
The cause is still unknown and our engineers are running tests on it, but at the moment we don’t have a fix yet.
I’m sorry we can’t offer a solution in this occasion.
We are at your disposal for any further information you may need.
    Thank you.”

I have bodged a workaround though. I’ve set up a TP Link range extender and have connected the Echo to that. The range extender is connected to the MW3 system and the Echo plays without interruption. It appears that the issue only manifests itself when the Echo is connected directly to the SSID of the MW3’s. There are various posts on forums noting the same issue other than to “try it it bridged mode”, which I don’t want to do.

So, one star dropped due to the above issue. Would still recommend though.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSo, I put off getting a grid solution for ages, as I’m not very tech competent, and was scared of having to set it up. I eventually took the step, and was pleasantly surprised at how simple it was (it took me about 10 minutes, and didn’t make me swear once). It was just plugging one of the cubes in to my router, downloaded the app, used the app to recognise the first cube, then plugged the other 2 in around the house. And it has meant that all rooms have as good internet (as far as I can tell) as my living room which has the router. So in summary, effective, and surprisingly easy to set up.

Does the job really well. Very very easy to setup. Up and running in 10-15 minutes total. Been a few weeks and it has been completely stable. Good speeds in all areas of the house. Our Ring doorbell used to struggle all the time, with missed recording often. Not the case now.
Got it on a deal at 38. Unimaginably cheap for a full house mesh system. Delivers way above the price I paid.
Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cost effective and reliable mesh system.

I recently moved and had Virgin installed for broadband. He advised that due to the amount of solid walls a mesh system would be ideal to ensure full signal around the home. Boy was he right – I don’t have a drop in signal in any room. The best advise any engineer has ever given me.

Bought to improve the wireless coverage in my old house (with some thick internal walls and dense internal doors.) Works brilliantly with the requisite single unit wired to the router and two remote units, one in the downstairs hall and one on the upstairs landing. Went from one “bar” signal strength in the downstairs rooms remote from the router to four “bars,” and virtually no signal upstairs to three “bars.” Wireless speeds on the remote connections have gone from a few Mbps (on a good day) to at least 50 Mbps. Add to that that these guys are small and unobtrusive, virtually set themselves up and can be easily controlled from a mobile phone application, and you’ve got a winner.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe bought this because the useless router Virgin Media provides has zero useful settings like DNS and doesn’t reach rooms even a few metres away.

The devices are super easy to setup, just download the Tenda app, plug any of the devices into your existing router, connect to the WIFi network created by the new device. Then you just specify your preferred WiFi network name (which will probably be your existing one, to avoid having to reconnect all your devices) and you’re set to go.

The other two nodes are linked out of the box so you just need to plug them in where you want them. They have a green/amber/red light to indicate signal strength.

The only weaknesses are it messes up Chromecast if you move between different nodes, although this seems to be a problem on almost all mesh networks. Also, the top has some weird textures plastic design which I suspect will attract dust but hey, these are likely to live out of sight so not a huge issue.

All in all for most people having Wifi access throughout their property is essential nowadays. This three pack allows good coverage across a four bedroom house and decent sized garden. All in all a great buy for the price, with a good app to manage everything.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super easy mesh networking

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersOrdered to get a signal up to my summer house and the top of the garden . Havent had time to see if it reaches that far yet but it definitely giving a good signal in the garage where I couldn’t get it before . Really easy to set up plugged the first one in to the router and mains opened the app changed the password and name to the same as my old router and away I went didn’t even have to reconnect anything other then the sonos system . Plugged in the other 2 nodes or whatever there called and reconnected in less than a minute each . Took me all of 5 mins to install . Only query is its says 3500 sqm in the write up but the box says 300 sq m more than enough but not sure maybe just a misprint . 4 stars for that reason. Didn’t need to use tech so can’t comment hence no score for that .

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVery good value for money. Easy to install as all three units the same and already linked – simply the first one you setup becomes the master. Followed instructions and first unit connected via Ethernet cable supplied and then other two one by one via WiFi. Flexible positioning for optimal WiFi as use 240 to 9v dc power adapter with 1.1m lead. Much better than my previous wifi extender that plugged into 240v outlet which limits placement to 13amp socket outlets.

All three link in mesh network with same ssid and iPhone seamlessly hands over from one to the next as I move around the house and my fixed TVs get better connections as I have sited the mesh units to “go around” the big brick chimney in middle of cottage.

Oh a guest network as well which you can optionally use permanently or for automatic limited number of hours.

Replaced my BT branded WiFi extender with this setup. The one in our loft gives good coverage for the garden and appears to switch from 5GHz to 2.4GHz when extra range needed.
The app is used for setup and afterwards can show which devices are connected to which node and other basic diagnostics.
Very low risk entry to mesh wifi.

I live in a very old granite farmhouse, and wifi has been an issue since we moved here. The walls are so thick getting a good signal throughout the house has been a constant battle. Over the years I’ve bought several different wifi extenders, and these have helped, but signal drops regularly especially as you move between rooms.
I saw the Tenda Nova system on Prime Day and it was cheaper then some of the extenders I’d purchased so I thought why not? I’ve nothing to loose.
Set up was a breeze. Out of the box, app downloaded, plug in, 5 minutes set up, done
Now we have a fantastic signal throughout the house. Streaming, gaming, browsing is fast and simple with no drop outs whatsoever. I have loads of smart home devices, and a Sonos system and these all work perfectly. Tip – when you get the option to name your network call it the same name with the same password as your existing network. Then you don’t have to re-set smart bulbs and sockets etc. Also, if you have Sonos, you need to connect your main speaker to your first mesh extender. I literally un-plugged it from my existing router and plugged it into the mesh extender next to the router and bingo, all working.
For the first time in 12 years I can finally really enjoy the high speed wifi I’m paying for.

Prior to buying these units my internet connection would drop intermittently. These have solved this issue and given me a great WiFi signal throughout the house. They were easy to setup. I have a 3 bed house and 3 of these units.

Another plus is they have the ability to temporarily change the WiFi from 5ghz to 2.4ghz allowing you to connect smart devices that will not connect via the former. Really good buy and would definitely recommend to others.

Really easy to set up – I just turned of wifi on the existing router and set these up with the same SSID and password – everything connected straight away.

Using them to give my desktop a wired ethernet connection instead of the USB dongle I was using – hasn’t dropped signal once.

The 3rd unit is extending the signal outside the back of the house – haven’t used it for real yet but it tests out Ok.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy setup was to plug the main mesh unit into our existing Wi-Fi modem with network cable and turn off Wi-Fi on the router enabling the mesh Wi-Fi as our main network. I plugged the first unit in as mentioned above, downloaded the Tenda App and followed the setup wizard. I then renamed the network and password to be the same as our original Wi-Fi to avoid having to reconnect all devices around the house, this all worked ok, I then added the 2 further included Mesh units, and used the app to add them, once they were all added I moved them to new positions around house to give the best coverage. Initially I thought wow, amazing signal strength all over the house, as time went on I discovered 2 issues, 1- I couldn’t control other devices on the network anymore i.e. smart lights/thermostat and Sonos system. 2 – the speeds were really slow, only getting around 1Mb down and almost no upload speed plus a huge ping time. Further investigation and playing with settings showed I needed to change the connection type to Bridge mode, this allows it to use an existing modem router and take its existing internet via cat5 cable, this fixed the problem connecting to other devices on the network. Secondly I found turning off Capacity-Orientated mode fixed the slow speed issue, it was on by default and says to turn it on if you’re connecting more than 30 devices, luckily I’m not connecting that many. Speeds and signal all over the house are top notch now and much improved out in the garden. Not sure what will happen if we exceed 30 devices but for now that isn’t an issue. Been using them about a month and working a treat, did run a firmware update and no problems whatsoever.

I only had a Bt hub situated on the landing upstairs so it wasn’t a good signal at the other side of the house. These three units solved the problem. Just connect one unit to your hub and the others automatically connect up together. I now have good WiFi all around my three bed semi. Brilliant kit and recommended.

One broke down on me the other month. Amazon required them all to be sent in to replace the whole lot so went through manufacturer instead as seemed a waste to change all three. Very helpful customer support who sent out a replacement node.

Would buy from this company again.

Before purchasing this I upgraded my standard Virgin Router (terrible router) to a TP-Link AC750 Dual-Band, which did improve the WIFI signal upstairs; however the guest room (furthest from the router) still kept dropping WiFi Signal.

I purchased this and connected it straight to the Virgin router and it’s had a massive impact, I now get 100% signal in all rooms in the home.

In terms of speed, I’m on the 100mb plan and get around 70-80 on Wifi throughout the home.

Would fully recommend this if you have 100mb broadband or under!

I initially ordered this solution to resolve my home network, it has worked better than expected it has ensured I have working WiFi over three floors in a Victorian home. I would recommend this product over the more expensive rivals on the proviso, you don’t mind having slightly cheaper plastic cases and a slightly uglier device on your bookshelf.

For me, this product works well and solved my issue for less than 20% of the better known names.

This is boss. Virgin WiFi is lousey and only works well a few meters from the router. After a year of asking Virgin to fix the problem we discovered Mesh WiFi. The cover from the Mesh pods is better than from the router and it covers the entire house. You have to experiment a bit to get them in the best locations, but it is still straight forward to set up. Once set up you have decent Internet throughout. Brilliant!

I bought this to replace a booster i have owned for a few years which did a fair job but would lose signal every now and then,it was to get a wifi signal to my daughters bedroom upstairs which was a no go with the router alone. the tenda system looks great and was a 5 min job to set up, all the other units just plug in and are pre set up at the factory so it was very easy, and since setting up i havent touched them again, i get full signal in every room in the house now with no interruption while moving between units

I was a tad nervous about buying this as the installation-guides on the various Amazon / Tenda web-pages seemed to be either broken or dupes of the user-guide, but everyone seemed to find the set-up process straightforward so I gave it a go.

Very easy to set up and my Virgin-based WiFi upstairs (the hub is downstairs in a corner of the house) has gone from a download speed of about 5Mb/s to 40 Mb/s.

I was sceptical at first, but thought I would give this product a try.
I followed the very simple instructions.
Plugged the one unit directly into our existing WiFi router, set it up using the app that you download. I then plugged in the other unit upstairs and waited for it to pair up, which took about a minute.
Ine room has really poor WiFi signal, but now it has full signal thanks to this product.
I tested it on a video call too and it seems to work very well. Hopefully it will continue as well as it is.

It was very easy to instal and only took 10 minutes to complete and hook up his devices. His room still seems to be a bit slower than the rest of the house but generally this has improved the signal for him and he doesn’t have many complaints now – although this obviously depends on how the main router is performing and if the company is having any signal issues.

Added the other 2 nodes at different locations around the house (again using the app), very quick and easy. When all connected, we had a good strong WiFi signal wherever we went around the house and further in to the garden too. Unfortunately my Canon WiFi printer doesn’t seem able to connect to the Tenda network, as there’s no WBS button on the Tenda devices. I will probably have to relocate my printer and have a wired connection to it from one of the remote Tenda boxes.

I have no idea why it didn’t do this first time…

I plugged one of these into the virgin router and then put the other on the first floor. Set up was about 10 minutes (this includes downloading an app, unboxing etc).

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBeen having problems with VM hub3. Of late the WiFi was just lacking. I put it down to recent updates or even a desire by VM to upsell to more expensive packages.
I was sceptical about this Mesh phenomenon and couldn’t warrant the huge costs. I found this system and thought it’s worth a punt and if it doesn’t live up to expectations I’ll return it.
The instructions seemed easy enough and it was a straight forward connection job but speed test after speed test proved even worse performance than the hub3 on its own. I reset the Nova 5 system and this time I left the hub3 in router mode as opposed to the recommended Modem mode and disabled WiFi in the router control panel to avoid conflicts and now I’ve got the 110mbs I pay for throughout the house and no drop outs on streaming services.
I purchase this with a 20 discount offer and so it’s good value. I particularly like the lan sockets on each node to run devices that might not have a WiFi function such as my daughter PC from work , an old tower running through the company VPN. One other interesting point. Less is more! I found by using 2 nodes as opposed to 3 I achieved better performance. 2 nodes is good for an average semi detached house or terraced. 3 if you have a mansion. If the nodes are too close together it effects performance it seems.
I’ll keep the third for summer in the garden I think although I’m getting good coverage there too just using 2 nodes.

If you having difficulties with your internet connection and ending up with no bars on phone or any devices. Don’t waste your time just buy the mesh system. It works like fluid no issues at all. Only draw back is, you can see in pictures. The primary node transfers almost the 95% of speed capacity but the secondary ones fall under 50%. Since virgin media speed is much better than expected. It’s still amazing. So if you want a cheap and sturdy system. Don’t search a lot just buy this one. Three nodes are enough for two stories typical UK house structure.

The only problem that I’ve encountered is when a power unit fails it’s difficult to get hold of a replacement and a standard power supply doesn’t work, hence having to buy an additional node.

What a fantastic wifi system so easy to set up with the app Wifi now throughout my bungalow, excellent speeds throughout property.
Buy it you wont be disappointed it does what it says it does for a change not like other mesh systems.

Even to the very moment I turned these on I remained sceptical as I have tried so many different things to improve my Wi-Fi signal, from new routers, dual band routers and Wi-Fi repeaters all to no avail.

However, after only a few minutes the Wi-Fi signal is now at full strength everywhere around the house and even in the garden.

if you are having problems with your Wi-Fi, such as dead spots, drop out or just like millions of others who are working from home now (having major issues with a number of people connected) this is the product for you.

Don’t buy the expensive systems as this will do the trick at half the price.

I cannot praise this product more highly and would definitely recommend.

    Pros.
The price is so much cheaper than others on the market and great value for money.
Easy to set up, just plug and play and then scan the QC code on the other devices to connect.
    Easy to use app.
Great Wi-Fi signal all around the house and garden.
Multifulction use with parental controls. (Not tried)
Ability to name or rename devices so you can see what is connected and to which node.
Fully configurable with port forwarding etc. as expected. Even has a maintenance function that resets on a periodic basis without having to think about it.
They don’t look too bad either.

    Cons.
Tech support is non-existent (don’t answer email or Twitter PM – so head to the forums, you’ll get more answers)
If you want to delve into some of the more advanced settings then you need to be very tech savvy.
The app could do with a basic wizard for the advanced settings, and a troubleshooting section
Issues with Xbox not connecting. (Needed to reconfigure to bridge settings as arid as dual NAT)
    Instructions not very clear

Overall I would give this product 10 out of 10 for value for money and 9 out of 10 for ease of use due to the difficult advanced settings for some.

So in summary stop reading this and go and buy it!

Seems to have improved my signal throughout the house, much cheaper option than some of the other manufacturers.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLike so many households during the pandemic, we are absolutely destroying our broadband. I am at the maximum speed I can get for my area, but having a smart house, with two kids at home learning online, and myself working from home, every router I’ve had keeps falling down.

I did some searching on YouTube and came across Tenda. I’d never heard of them and was a little reluctant as they aren’t a common name like Netgear etc. However they reviews on YouTube were fantastic. So I bought the MW5G and what a difference it has made!

I have one node downstairs, plugged into my existing router, which is now just used as a modem, and another upstairs in my office. I am getting full speeds throughout the house, and even with 29 devices connected to it, it’s doesn’t falter.

The only negative point is that there’s no WPS. My printer doesn’t have a screen, so the only way to connect it is to reenable wifi on my router to print. This is a bit of a pain and I hope that Tenda will add WPS feature in the app, as not all printers have screens that you can use to add onto wifi.

Other than that, super happy with it.

I bought this product as my standard wifi wouldn’t reach an external camera. I fitted two nodes and thought it wasn’t going to work, even with the second node quite close to the camera. As soon as I installed the third node the magic happened. Signal is strong and stable. Set up was easy and I’m no tech guru. Highly recommend.

Best booster system I’ve used, leagues above the Virgin boosters they supply. Easy to install and instant benefit of wifi throughout the entire house and into the garde

Bought for my sister, a doddle to set up & just works. She can home work effectively and was able to switch to WiFi calling as the mobile coverage is poor where she lives

With plenty of options, my only issue was zero to do with this purchase… but had to buy a lan RJ45 port extender since my router only had single port …we use for wired TV.

Once initial hub setup I paired other two without issue, set as a bridge and now no dropouts of lapses between Amazon smart home devices, doorbell and can now be in back garden and still use WIFI.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese little cubes fit nicely into the home and provide a fabulous alternative Wi-Fi, once they are set up right.

With the Nova MW5G-3, I have replaced my ISP provided Wi-Fi with patchy signal with a strong signal throughout a modern house with foil and metal trays in the walls and floors that was disrupting signal over three floors. The new Wi-Fi network means I can turn off the separate 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks on the router and maintain the same network while chasing the deals on renewal.

Configuration could do with being better documented. Setup with the app (there is a web interface in case the app drops support or stops being available) picked DHCP automatically which caused disruption to the Internet connection as DHCP was already running on my ISP router. Switching this to Bridge mode means the Nova provides only Wi-Fi and takes everything else from the router, resulting in a stable connection.

I also have two Apr connected back to the router via 1Gbps LAN which provides a faster connection from the far end if the house and diversity of one fails or is unplugged. Not a documented feature.

The only negative is that the APs appear to all be on the same channel which could impact performance, but with Mu Mimo, multiple antenna and 360Mbps compared with my broadband speed of 70Mbps, I am not sure I will ever notice the contention this has the potential to cause.

They have been in place for a month now; the fast switching to the best AP is working brilliantly with my devices. I have Wi-Fi bulbs and sockets that work really well. The config app also has a setting to turn off 5GHz while pairing the 2.4-only devices.

Bargain price too compared with the competition. They could just do with some “advanced” documentation as they are powerful devices.

I am a old school technophobe but this was a piece of cake to install. Great wi-fi now all over my 4 bed semi including the garden when we listen to music with the summer bbq’s.
We have the 3 module set. Main unit at the router box, one upstairs and one in the back room which serves the garden.
    10 out of 10

My old powerline units were old and had started dropping connections so I thought would give these well priced units a try.
They are app controlled, and it’s a nicely designed easy app to use. You really just plug them in and tell them what their network name and password is via the app. It’s that simple.
The units have a great range. My summerhouse is 45 metres away and gets a signal.
They run very cool, which can only be a good thing in the long run and so far have been totally reliable.

Previously used plug in Wifi extender which did not work. Since buying these we have excellent coverage throughout our house, Netflix no longer buffering for ever or crashing. I have one of the earlier Virgin boxes & these work well, different model may be needed for later boxes. Very easy to set up even for a novice like me.

We bought a three pack at the beginning of lockdown in March to replace a wifi extender that my work laptop didn’t get on with. So far it’s been great. After trying a few different placements, the best coverage for us was to have all three units downstairs. One in the living room attached to the main router, second in the dining room and third in the kitchen. We’ve been able to have Zoom calls with family down the end of our 100ft garden! My wife and I are now no longer on the dining room table and set up on desks upstairs and we needed to add another unit for my wife to plug a work landline in. It was super easy to add an extra unit, just scanned the QR code on the bottom of the new unit from the app, wait for it to do it’s thing and then it was sorted too. I’m soooo pleased that this technology is cheaper now! Although I do wish the single additional units weren’t half the cost of the inital three.

Easy to install mesh system, dies a great job improving my WiFi signal upstairs and I know even have Wi-Fi in the garden. But was expecting to have better speeds from the main distribution thing… As its connected by Ethernet cable I was expecting a speed near my mac speed of 100mb, nevertheless can’t reach more than 70mb.
On the 3rd hub/thingy I can only have a mac speed of 30mb.
Much better than having an extender, but I was expecting to have faster speeds when next to the hubs/thingy.

I’ve had these before and they do a good job of boosting the wi fi signal.
PRODUCT WAS NOT HANDED TO ME. It was left in porch which was fine.
