I always keep this in my car boot to save dragging muddy shoes into my car and home. I keep a spare bottle of water with it just incase I run out. Doesn’t leak and is really sturdy. Perfect for those that like to go for a country walk, have kids that play football or just taking the dog for a walk. Makes quickly cleaning off the mud super easy.

There is nothing to dislike about this product except possibly the price. Apart from that, it’s brilliant! Does exactly what it’s supposed to do, controls the amount of water flow out of the spout. Nice microfibre cloth to dry off – lovely. Reduce the price?
Cleaning boots after dog walking. Could be helpful if the chamber was a bit bigger. Considering a second one to keep in the car. So much easier than the scrubbing brush/screwdriver and bucket of water.
This really is a fantastic and handy product, currently using it whilst away in the Lakes and can’t recommend it enough. It’s compact but sturdy and means spending less time of an evening cleaning boots. Their customer service is also spot on!
I wasn’t convinced this would work well on the level.of mud my sons boots acquire! But it was East to use and very effective. Wish I’d bought it sooner.
I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it is, but it really is great. You do need lots of water though. To clean 1 really.muddy trainer used the whole bottle of water. Really recommend.
I bought this product partly because of it’s reputation – so I decided to give it a go. I use the sharper edge for removing mud and debris and the brush and waterflow feature for the rest. The cloth is sort of like a micro fibre material. It is a very handy product and I like using it.
Great product. I usually fill a flash with warm water and pour in at the end of my walk before using it on my boots. The scraper is really good to get rid of chunks of mud 1st before using the brush.
Also doubles up to de ice the car!!! Fill with tepid water and make sure the brush is clean, gently brush the ice away!! If they come up with a de ice buddy or similar I want in!!
Especially in this weather going into muddy places to walk the dog.

This is a brilliant product. I’ve been scrubbing my walking boots in the sink everytime and this now allows me to clean my boots at the end of the walk before they go in the car.
It gets the majority of the mud off.
My only issue with it, is that there’s not a lot of water, it could do to be a bit bigger.
I also think it is quite expensive for what it is.
I used this for the first time yesterday on walking boots thickly coated with dry mud. It is difficult to clean boots without outside space or blocking the sink when you live in a flat. It was effective (with some elbow grease) and some newspaper mopped up the muddy water. Very pleased!
The transformation from mud encrusted boot to one that looks brand new is dramatic. You open the end of the brush, add water and a dot or two of washing up liquid before closing it again. Then you squeeze as you scrub (over the sink or outside), followed by a wipe with the micro cloth provided. It’s such a satisfying outcome that even my sons need little encouragement to use it.
This was a gamble purchase. Lots of muddy boots and the hand pump sprayers being universally crap. It’s absolutely brilliant, does exactly what it says on the can. The blade digs embedded mud out the water brush cleans up all the gunk and then rinses clean and the unexpected cloth it came with cleans and dries. If I needed two it’d be my go to to buy another. Great!
Our daughter structurally comes back from school with muddy shoes. It is as if her school is in a mud pit.
Hence we were looking for a quick and easy way to get her shoes in good condition for the next day. This Boot Buddy is actually quite helpful witha sturdy brush on one side and scraper on the other side. The container will last for a week in her case. We filled it with soapy water to get the job done.
Its an expensive solution for a job that can also be performed by a 1 high-street discount store brush and a container of water, but its quite handy to have the boot buddy ready at hand at our front porch.
Boot buddy does the job and it’s convenient to keep it in the car. I usually take it to my children’s football practice. The bristles on the boot buddy are good quality and take’s the mud off quickly with a few strokes. Awesome product.

This got my new running trainers back to looking new after a very muddy parkrun in January. This is a great little gadget, also used the following day on my cycling shoes and did the same great job. So handy and a really great idea.
The only bad thing is the capacity is not enough to clean adult shoes (I needed to refill like 4 times to clean a pair)
Makes cleaning outdoor shoes much easier then messing about with water and a brush in the sink. Just fill the container with warm water and take the “Buddy” outside to the shoes to be cleaned. One fill will clean moderately muddy shoes, very muddy shoes might need a second fill. Best used when the mud is wet as soon as you get home.
Bought for my grandson for Christmas . He has two boisterous doggies and is very pleased with his boot buddy. He said it cleans his walking boots very well after he takes the doggies for a run. Also his partner Karolina loves the boot buddy as well.

Super item, fill with water and squeeze out over the shoes or boots to clean them, so easy, fast, job done in a minute compared to leaving dirty boots at the door then never cleaning them. This just gets the job done instantly. Love it. Have recommended to all my friends.
I use this for my boots after walking lots. It cleans very well. Only issue id say is water does not last long you have to keep filling up every couple seconds.
Best thing since beans on toast.. does exactly what it’s meant to do and makes the job 100% easier..Great to hold even with dexterity issues. Gets into all those little groves. Loosens and removes impacted mud , soil etc and bushes out tiny bits, dust etc…couldnt be without it , should have a Queens Award .
Recommended by a friend, the result of hill walking and camping is now that I can get the worst of the dirt off my boots before I get in the car or tent. This just makes cleaning muddy footwear so much easier and portable.

Ah, I now see what all the fuss is about. This is an awesome bit of kit! Ideal for cleaning trail boots and convenient with the built in brush. Really pleased.
Knocked off a star because it leaks when closed. I had thought to throw it in the car to have with me so the car doesn’t get muddy from the shoes, but it needs to be stored brush up, otherwise all the water leaks out and defeats the purpose, really.
Made cleaning my boots less of a hassle.
The water output is easily adjusted but will run out quickly. On this modle you can’t really squeeze out the water though. Glad they have updated the design but now I wish I wated a week before buying this one. The plastic poker bits a useful but could be harder plastic or metal as the edge gets ground up when removing Lodged stones.
The Boot Buddy is a must have for anyone who has shoes/boots that get muddy regularly. Running shoes, football/rugby boots and similar sport footwear will be well treated by the Boot Buddy. It is so convenient and easy to use. I fill the Buddy with hot water and clean my running shoes in less than 10 minutes; and I mean clean! If you have sport shoes that you wish to keep clean then you must get a Boot Buddy! No ifs or buts, get one!

Worked reasonably well but difficult to ‘squeeze’ the water through.
This is really good and I’ve recommended it to friends and family who have now bought one. Only negative is that it would be better if the water reservoir was bigger so you don’t have to fill it up quite so often when cleaning a lot of muddy boots.

To date only used the Boot Budy to scrape the soles of some walking shoes and was please with how well it worked. I have no doubt that the clean/scrub function will also work well.

Such a simple design but really handy. Enough water to do one pair of muddy shoes so pack extra water if you plan to use it before getting into the car for example. Works great with all types of shoes. Forgot my golf shoes were white…

Just used for this first time to clean my sons football boots. It was so easy, quick and worked well! So happy I bought this!
A handy tool to clean boots, especially away from home. One drawback is that when pressing hard , the water supply is slightly reduced.
Overall a very useful tool and a reasonable price.
We’re in lockdown so muddy walks are default which means muddy boots in the car, faffing around to organise kids snacks etc. and then clean boots with the outside tap when we get home before the kettle comes on.
In steps the Boot Buddy: stick the kids in the car and then clean the boots before they go in the car, get home stick the kettle on while making the kids snacks then all sink into the sofa to watch re-runs of paw patrol… what more could you ask for?!
My only recommendation is to take an extra bottle of water to give you enough water to clean 4 pairs of muddy boots.
The jury is still out on this product. Its a great idea, and the brush head is great for cleaning dirty boots, but for a woman with a weak grip I find this very bulky to hold. I think it would be great to keep in the car to wash the soles of your dirty boots/shoes before getting in.
I did look at buying another product which basically was just the brush which you could fit onto a recycled bottle. I think this is a good idea however the boot buddy is better because it does have the valve which enables the water to flow while you are cleaning and this does set it apart from the other product in my view.
I would recommend it as it does the job very efficiently but you’ll need to take a bottle of water to refill it if cleaning more than one pair of boots at a time. That’s no big deal really I suppose. I would say that the price should be no more than 10 for what it is. Mine did come with a microfibre towel which is handy for in the car and drying off my boots.
Its ok, it does the job and it’s a good idea. But its a weird shape (style over substance?) and as a result is awkward to use. Could be better designed shape wise.

Arrived earlier than expected, I was especially pleased about this. Managed to do a good job of cleaning my sons very muddy football boots and made the process much easier than usual.
This is a excellent product. I just purchased an expensive pair of wellies and wanted to look after them and the Boot Buddy was the perfect choice for me. This is not a problem but I have found that I to refill it a couple of times but I leave a bottle of water in my car. It would not make sense to make the product bigger to hold more water as it would not fit in your hand as well as it does. BTW I’ve also tried this on tiles in my bathroom and they came up really well.

These work very well to clean mud and grass etc off wellies, walking boots, rugby boots etc. The water goes quite quickly, so, if I have a couple of pairs of boots to clean, I tend to take a bucket of warm water out and just dunk the Boot Buddy in it to refill it as many time as needed. The bucket of water doesn’t actually get very muddy, but it is much quicker than constantly going back to a tap with a muddy Buddy to refill it. The bristles are stiff enough to shift mud and grass without scratching the boots.
We have bought several of these because every family member has borrowed one to take home to clean their boots.
I am very impressed with this product. It made cleaning my sons very muddy football boots an easy task, what normally takes ages with different brushes and cloths was quick and easy with just this Boot Buddy and then a dry cloth to wipe over afterwards. I would highly recommend it and it can even be taken with you to the game/training and the boots can easily be cleaned off before you leave if you wanted to.
This brush is great for cleaning off muddy trainers and hiking boots. Makes light work of both wet and dry mud. The integrated scraper on the back is espcially useful for picking out stones and large chunks of dirt stuck in the tred of the shoes.
I have found the best way to tackle the worst mud is to use the brush dry at first to remove as much mud as possible then turn on the water and get all the tough spots. I was sceptical of the product as it boasts “as seen on dragons den” on the packaging, usually items with this are tacky or a gimmic but the boot buddy is the exact opposite of that. Great item.
Clever product. My son was leaving his dirty football boots in his boot bag after matches / training. I bought this for him, and it’s his job as soon as home to give them a quick clean. Easy to use, now a 5 min job.
Bought this as I’m always going down muddy trails in wellies and don’t want to mess the car up. This is so handy to store in the car and the bristles are so hard they’ll damage your expensive boots/wellies and not too soft that they won’t get the mud off. My Hunters always look like new after a good scrub with this and the fact is holds water is not only handy but very environmentally conscious as you’re not constantly running a tap!
Great bit of kit for welly wearers and dog walkers. It’s easy to dramatically improve the state of muddy boots with this thing which means less grub in the car and less grub on the floor at home. You do need to top up the water as one tan- full does one very muddy boot – but this is easy enough to do on the go. I tend to cart it about empty and just fill it up as required from the water bottle I keep in the car. It has a good scraper and the bristles are stiff enough to make a decent difference. I love this and would buy it again.
I love this product. Yes there are cheaper ways to clean your sports shoes, but this is a great, easy and clean way to do it. I have a garden and use it when home, but when I am away and nowhere near cleaning facilities it comes into its own. You can fill it, keep it in the car then clean shoes before setting off. Keeps shoes in tip top condition.
I like trail running, Im happiest when running in mud and puddles. Got this because the wife was about to divorce me if I I brought any more mud into the house. Pros: good study brush, you can take it anywhere, gets mud off with ease, trainers cleaned quickly. Cons: if you turn the brush to full water output, it runs out quickly and soaks your trainers. The tail part to get the mud out of the trainer grooves is a little to wide. Bit expensive. But overall happy wife, happy life
Must admit when my wife first purchased this for me I just thought it was another gimmick which I would be throwing away after a couple of weeks. However, this has not been the case! A great little device and has helped me keep my golf shoes very clean. Definitely would recommend.

I find that I’ve had to refill it to do both shoes.

I knew I needed this product a long time ago, now i have it I has taken the chore of cleaning muddy wellies away. Very simple product and the amount of water used can be controlled by the nozzle which saves you running to refill it every 10 seconds. Iv used it for cleaning my window ledges aswell.
I really love my boot buddy after a muddy winter walk.It is really good for an initial clean then continuing when I get home if car drivers are ready to leave!. Grass is more tricky to remove ie silage etc.The brush could do with being a bit stiffer for that. Overall it makes me happy to use as someone who does not love MUD.The amount of water in the buddy is just enough for 2 size 6 boots in winter.In summer less mud!
Ok – so my son’s boots are normally left to fester days after rugby. The first time with the boot buddy yesterday and I took it with me to the game – cleaned his boots before putting them in the car and I am delighted with the results. A few improvements needed, however. 1: It needs to hold more water, if possible. I know it needs to fit small hands but there’s only just enough water for 1 boot so it could do with more! 2: The mud scraper is on the bottle cap – so if you use the scraper, the bottle usually opens up and all the water pours out.
Bought this for my other half who uses it for golf. At this time of year, that means pretty much every time she plays. To avoid mess, she takes water in a used water bottle then puts the water, a cloth and the boot buddy in a container in her boot of the car. Golf shoes and bag come back pristine every time. At least 6 others from the golf club bought these as a result. Brownie points for me on the Christmas stocking pressie…
No more buddy boots! My son loves it so much that even just 10 years old he now asks to clean his own boots whenever he gets home with them. He also has started using it on other trainers and is offering his services to the rest of the family. I love that the shoes look new and fresh again and it doesn’t make much mess – he just does it outside the door and it is easy peasy. I highly recommend.
I have used this once thus far and this was on some very muddy everday leather ankle shoes that were left muddied for 5 days. They were quick to clean, and would probably benefit from a final wipe before use, however, I was amazed at how well this cleaned my shoes. I am a bit concerned that the plastic materials could easily break if not careful mind.

This is genius ! Great idea for cleaning football boots – especially in a colder and wetter months when grass and mud seem to stick to football boots. This is brilliant – it removed dirt very quickly and efficiently. It is also very well priced.
One load of water will probably do a slightly dirty shoe however to clean the shoes in my picture took three trips to the tap, using 1 fills per shoe.
I am over the moon with the results, I know this product has gone up in value since it’s release but of all the products I have bought this month, this has been my favourite.
For years I have despised cleaning my boys muddy rugby boots and they have been playing the sport since they were 6 years old. This makes life so much easier. I’ve only used the product twice so far, but it certainly does the job. I have only given it a 4 for sturdiness as I’ve not had it long enough to see wether it stands the test of time. I really hope it does. Definitely worth every penny so far.
The boot buddy doesn’t leak, so can be left filled in the boot of the car. One fill will clean two pairs of shoes (just about). It’s very effective, but needs a plastic bag to put it in after use, as it’s wet and muddy!
The delivery on this was very fast, it arrived the next day with standard delivery (a Saturday)!
Bought these as stocking fillers a couple of years ago and got one to try myself. Great idea. I use it on my walking boots in the winter and keep it handy to clean seagull strikes (I work beside the sea!) from my car in the summer. A friend was so impressed I gave him mine and this one is to replace it. A little overpriced but doesn’t leak which is a big advantage and probably justifies the cost. Very robust and made of top quality materials.
I have at least two pairs of wellies to clean on most days and as a busy parent anything that can help save a few precious minutes is very welcome.
The boot buddy is very easy to use. Thick mud can be eased from treads with the tail end and the brush takes no time in cleaning the boot. So far, I have used it on wellies, walking boots, winter kids padded boots and crocs. I would definitely recommend this product.
A nice idea. The gadget is great for taking the excess dirt from my sons football boots but is a little awkward to hold while scrubbing hard. So far it holds the water when the cleaning brush head is closed without leaking and does a nice cleaning job for the price.
This boot cleaning device is years overdue. To get the best results, clean the boots as soon after muddying them but even after a few days the muck comes off with around 3 fills per boot in the worst case. Adding warm water speeds up the cleaning process even more. Overall this simple device works amazingly well and is as cheap as chips.
Bought this as my boots get filthy walking the dog–mostly I don`t bother but they had gone a completely different colour!

I was a little sceptical about this at first, as my son’s football boots, school shoes, my running trainers and both of our hiking boots get absolutely caked in mud, and I thought nothing would deal with them quickly.
If you are expecting parade quality finish, sorry, you only get that by polishing them up after, but in 1 hour, I had cleaned 6 pairs of caked on shoes to a finish that was like first wear in dry conditions. The boot buddy has made cleaning shoes so much easier.
The reservoir is suitable enough for hand holding. It needed refilling quite a few times, but I just did it all by the outside tap, and that was not an issue at all. I have a medium sized adult hand, and I could not have used something that was larger.
I recommend this to anyone who has to deal with muddy shoes. So fast and efficient.
Best to clean wet mud off first using the butterfly end before applying water, after using this brush several times during wet grass matches i believe this item would be better if made with a larger water container as i have found myself bringing along an extra water bottle in order to compensate. `i also think it a bit overpriced but overall i think a welcome addition to after match boot cleaning.
A very clever idea for cleaning your boots immediately after use, particularly if you do not have access to an outside tap or outdoor space. I live in a top floor flat with no balcony!!!!! The boot buddy takes sufficient water to easily clean 2 boots. Wet mud is initially very easy to remove and when the boots dry, the brush is then effective in removing any dry residue. I keep a bottle of water in my car all the time so can clean my boots after use wherever I am.
Also it will clean my sons football boots no problem as he is only a size 4. However my golf shoes (size 12) requires you to top up the bottle as it will only do one shoe.
Overall a great product and I would totally recommend it for anyone who hates muddy shoes.
Brilliant piece of kit for anyone with muddy walking gear. Either take it in the car with you or leave it by the front door for returning from muddy dog walk. Mud comes off easy when dealt with straight away instead of leaving and forgetting about them. Brush robust enough for getting even stubborn mud off. Holds plenty of water. Love it.
Took a long time to arrive and at one stage did wonder if it would be delivered in time for Christmas, luckily it was but only just. Given as a Christmas present and when opened was a great hit with our sons wife , saying this will stop muddy football boots being cleaned in the sink at home. Yet to find out if it does what it says it will do, but once the festive break is over and parks footy is being played them will come the acid test.
I had filled the water in already and left it in my car boot. Just sat in the boot of my car and cleaned my tracking boots right after my bootcamp, easy and fairly entertaining too, as people were curious. I liked the spiky bit that I could use to get rid of mud and grass stuck under my sole, very convenient. The water was enough for 1,5 shoes I’d say, but I cleaned them enough to be able to put them in my boot and I finished them cleaning properly at home. I should have taken the before photo, but I’m sure you know how properly muddy tracking shoes look like.

The Boot Buddy is brilliant! I fill it with hot water (a tiny tiny drop of washing up liquid) and then get scrubbing. On a cold Sunday after a long football practice/match this takes a few minutes at most and always leaves the boots looking practically brand new! Extra tip – after I’ve cleaned the boots, I spray a water proofing spray on the synthetics of the book to make it easier to keep clean and it brings the boots up shiny and clean as well as helping reduce moisture soaking into the boot’s material.
