I doubled the memory in my 2014 desktop computer from 8mb to 16mb. Although my computer is old, I have noticed a considerable performance increase in several software applications. I don’t do online gaming, just home and family finance, word processing and spreadsheets. I am happy with my purchase. Good product at a reasonable price.

Installed this on a refurbished Dell Optiplex 5040. The machine did POST after installing the RAM, which was a good sign. After booting though, there was a notification before starting the OS that the RAM amount changed, and it made me check the BIOS before I could continue (or maybe I could’ve skipped that, I didn’t read carefully). Didn’t change anything, and exited the BIOS. It then rebooted and entered into the OS successfully. The machine is now much faster, and I can finally open multiple apps and browser tabs without lag again!
I having hitting my PC’s max 16 Gb ram. Upgrading give more room for the PC to run smoothly. It works as it describes. Good value.
El producto se vea muy bien, lleg bien empacado, sin roturas, todo bien, pero no s si funcionaba porque por desgracia tenamos el manual equivocado de la computadora y la memoria interna era diferente a la que vena en el manual, as que pedimos el producto equivocado y por eso tuvimos que devolverlo.

I put this RAM in a 2013 Dell Inspiron 660s and it recognized it right away. I had always thought 8 gb was the limit (according to Dell and other sellers of RAM) but I heard of others doing this with two 8gb sticks. Should hold me until late 2025 when I will have to get a Windows 11 compatible computer.

Popped out the old 4gig sticks . Popped in the new 8gig sticks.. turned it on . That’s it. Updated drivers. I may add. I do have a lot of cooling equipment, 7 processor’s running at 3.8 ghz freq.. with no cap… alot of heat is produced. I have never even used more the 5% capacity… I can run a full scan and play farm Sim 22 and stream a movie. At the same time . No lag… 1080 60fps. 0 lost frames or packets.

Concerning Timetec 16GB KIT(2x8GB) DDR3L / DDR3 1600MHz: The memory was packed nicely and arrived very quickly. I simply installed the sticks as directed, and upon startup the computer recognized the memory change and updated it’s self, and when Windows booted up it began making use of the increased memory and passed the tests I performed without a hiccup.

aggiornato un vecchio pc passando da 4 a 16gb, lavora molto meglio, le ram non hanno dato nessun problema , funzionano sia come ddr3 normali che come ddr3L
Per adesso non posso lamentarmi del prodotto. Avevo un PC che viaggiava con una RAM a 4GH. Ho voluto implementarla portandola almeno ad otto per migliorare un po le prestazioni. Finora tutto bene, le due SIM si sono dimostrate compatibili con la scheda madre e l’installazione non ha creato problemi. Speriamo che durino a lungo. Per adesso contento dell’acquisto.
Its another set of ram from Timetec that I was buy for my another PC and as always great product for great money. Its work as should with any problem. Installation easy and not need have special skills to doing that.
We have an HP Pavillion CPU desktop that came with 12GB RAM and found that the 4 GB card went bad. Best Buy Geek Squad tested and said they don’t sell those in the store and try Amazon. I went home, looked up exact type on Amazon and these popped up with great descriptions of everything I needed AND a 2 pack of 8GB cards. I ordered the 2 pack to get 16 GB and they came 2 days ahead of schedule. I took both old ones out, popped these new ones in and our CPU has been running like a CHAMP!

Au dbut surpris et inquiet que le prix soit si petit par rapport aux concurrents, qui eux vendent des cartes l’unit. Nanmoins j’ai bien reu le pack 2×8 GB DDR3L dans l’emballage officiel. Une fabrication impeccable, une performance stable et sans dfaut malgr mon usage important partag avec mon GPU (l o les grandes marques mondiales buguent ou se dsactivent). Timetec est encore rcent (2013) mais est dans mon top-3 des meilleurs fabricants de Ram depuis 1988.

Purchased to upgrade a Dell Optiplex 9020 from 16Gb to 32Gb. Plugged the memory sticks in and up the additional memory came. Working fine
2nd time buying them for Haswell system – solid performance and good value. Running in dual channel mode with previous pair – no problem at all.
I got this as an additional 8gb of Ram to go with the standard that came with my Pc. I had checked and i was using about 7gb of my current 8gb ram when using a photo editing software.
Installed this easily and started computer. Worked as should.
When i went into photo editing software and checked Ram usage it was showing 8.5gb. Turns out Pc had been utilising Harddrive caching to make up for the additional 1.5gb and that was what was making it slow. This extra capacity now means it runs quickly and a lot better user experience.
My old desktop was getting slow and using the disk too much. Adding just 8GB of RAM took the load off the disk and the computer is now back to what it was. Boot time is still slow but, once in, everything loads quickly. For 30, I essentially got a new computer.
It felt a bit less robust than the memory boards they replaced but function really well. Certainly a improvement to my aging desktop.
This memory has injected new life into my 5-year-old PC with 8GB of memory. Everything is much faster. Installation was easy – no need to push or pull very hard, but I think that’s because of the design of the clips on my PC’s motherboard, not because of this memory. The old memory was DDR3, this one is DDR3L – yes they are compatible in that direction. The old memory is looking forward to working in its new home in a school in Malawi, courtesy of the Turing Trust – check them out.

I purchased a refurbished desktop computer from Amazon, Dell Optiplex 790. I wished to upgrade the RAM on the unit from 16 to 23gb. Timetec guided me through the process and ensured that I received the correct parts, and at a very competitive price
It appeared to be a good choice as it worked first time after installation.
Easy to install, just remember to use slot 1 & 2 which should be marked. My sons computer now flys along. Very happy.
Install is easy. Just note that if you insist on keeping your existing memory, all of it will run at the speed of what’s in there.

I have a windows 10 pc that after the last couple of updates has been running very slow and laggy. After looking into it I found that once I had a couple of things running the system was using over 7gb of 8gb installed of RAM so having to buffer data on hard drive meaning that the hard drive was running at 100% most of the time. So decided to up the RAM hoping that it would it would save having to buy a new pc. On checking I found that the motherboard would except a max of 16gb DDR3. As this was a educated guess that it would improve/solve the problem I didn’t want to over pay for a premium brand did a bit of Googling and found a number on favourable reviews for Timetec so decided to give them a try. RAM arrived next day well packed, installed easily, pc and windows recognised it without any problems. PC is now running as well if not better than when it was new no matter how much I push it. Doing the same tests now as I found that the system is still using about 7gb of RAM but far less hard drive capacity. I was so impressed by the improvement that I have now upgraded my other 2 PC’s 1 to 16gb and the other to 32gb. It seams to me that although latest version of windows 10 will run on less RAM it runs much better on 16gb obviously your processor and hard drive will also have an impact but definitely 16gb of RAM.
I Will definitely use again next time I need more RAM.

Purchased this RAM (2x16gb upgrade packs (so4x8gb)) to upgrade a 4th gen i7 Dell optiplex and max it out at 32gb.
These machines can apparently be a bit picky as to what ram they will use/be matched with but this worked fine.
The machine recognised instantly that the RAM size had changed and rebooted itself, then loaded windows as normal.
I have had no problems with this RAM with a Dell and it all seems to be doing what it should.
Installation was easy.
Arrived on time and am happy with it.
Great value for money. The memory was easy to install and works great. I don’t know how good it is for gaming in general as the computer I installed it in was mainly for streaming video which it does well.
