Replacement for an old one for the better quality and surge protection .
    Perfect for individu switches too.

Perfect for my needs in the garage/workshop where it supplies power to power tool battery chargers which would otherwise have to unplugged each time. Pity they don’t make a 10-way extension, as it is I had to buy a 6-way and a 4-way to provide enought outlets (including a couple of spares). I have them neatly tucked out of the way, mounted vertically on a panel. Socket switches are positive and faultless in operation, the angled front face with the switches makes it easy to reach the switches without needing to poke your fingers between a row of plugs to reach them. Well made internally so if your plugs are exploding you might want to check the wiring inside them – loose screw connections cause arcing and high resistance either of which can cause the plug to overheat..

Works well and good value for money!

So the lockdown project was a garden bar. I bought this for all the lights etc I have to run. Once mounted on the wall, it looked good. It is safe and can easily take a full capacity.

There is no need to pull a plug out just press the off switch, and a unit is turned off.

A little overpriced for what it is I feel, but still a decently made product that is worth a little extra outlay compared to some of the nasty cheap garbage extension leads that are being sold. Spacing between the sockets is just generous enough to accommodate most types of plugs (some transformer units can partially block the switches) and the socket fit is a tad on the tight side but not too bad. It has an unusual wall fixing method, having two front to back screw holes revealed by pushing out a cover cap from the back. A great idea, but one not fully perfected. Firstly the wall plugs provided are terrible, and secondly the screws provided are barely big enough to get through to the wall for a solid fixing (worth noting, as mentioned the socket fir is a little tight so pulling on the plug requires a good solid wall fixing). If you upgrade to longer screws as I did, you need to keep them as skinny as the ones provided as larger gauge screws will not fit. The screw angle is most curious too, requiring an angled drill hole into the wall which is odd. And as for the caps, well don’t be tempted to cover the screws with them after installation as there is no easy way to get them out again should you wish to remove the unit later on. Fortunately the screws are well recessed and not unsightly, and the fixing process is easily resolved with longer screws and better wall plugs. Overall, despite it’s idiosyncrasies, I’m happy with the purchase and have bought another. It’s a shame the seller doesn’t provide this in a wider choice of lead lengths and with surge protection too.

I liked the fact the depth was narrow and had an extra plug as it had to sit under a rather low uni

I bought one of these about three months ago. I wanted to organise the power in my garage and this looked to fit the bill above my workbench. It means I’ve enough sockets to leave my shop vac plugged in and switch it on/off at the point (the vac is under the bench), leave other ‘big tools’ plugged in and still have a couple of spares for a drill/ circular saw/ charging batteries etc.

It’s really solidly made, I like the LED inidicator to say which are switched on, they’ve thoughtfully included a spare plug if you needed to shorten the cable or poke it through a hole that necessitated removal of the original and also the necessary wall-mounting screws.

I liked that a small cover could be removed to swap the cable (I needed something a lot longer) and while it had notched security screws, there wasn’t any issue taking them out and making a tidy job of things.

All in, I’d happily buy more of these for use around the house as I know I’m getting something that’s well produced and will be reliable for a long time. There’s no surge protection, so if you’ve sensitive computer equipment etc it may not be the best option, but for anything that isn’t like that; these are a great choice.

Arrived on time well packaged. Compact and seems fairly rugged. Useful that it has screws and holes, I fitted it below a tv cabinet to supply power to all the electronics. Only issue was needing to fit cable through a hole in the unit and plug would not fit, screws on multi socket case are anti tamper so could not disconnect cable at that end, had to cut moulded plug off and fit another one.

Holes at the front so can easily be fixed to surface of desk/wall etc. Not like the silly anchor hooks on the back that most other extension leads come with.
