Wir nutzen das Navi jetzt ein gutes halbes Jahr.
Die Buchse der Halterung ist bereits defekt, obwohl wir damit nicht sehr grob umgegangen sind.
Die Navigation lsst hier und da zu wnschen brig.
Man sollte immer ein anders Navi als Backup dabei haben, wenn man wirklich mal irgendwo unterwegs ist, wo man sich berhaupt nicht auskennt.
Die Navigation mit Koordinaten stellt und nicht gnzlich zufrieden – sie funktioniert manchmal einfach nicht und ist umstndlich ber das Men zu erreichen.
Manche Adressen findet das Navi einfach nicht – trotz regelmiger Updates.
Die Displaygre finden wir gut, die sprachliche Ansage passt fr uns auch.
Die Angaben zum Fahrzeug (Gre / Hhe o..) klingen verlockend, wir wurden jedoch auch schon auf Straen gefhrt, die wirklich gnzlich ungeeignet waren.
Wir nutzen parallel hufig noch google Maps.

Best piece of kit you can have when travelling, gets you there, maybe not always accurate, but it works.
Die Standardbefestigung mit Saugfuss erlaubt eine zuverlsssige Befestigung nur an der Frontscheibe oder auf der Klebeplatte, die nur auf ebenen Armaturenabdeckungen zuverlssig klebt.
An der Frontscheibe wird aber leider das Sichtfeld unzulssig eingeschrnkt, so dass fr mich nur die Klebeplatte auf leicht gerundetem Armaturenbrett in Frage kam. Die Klebeverbindung ist auf derartigem Grund aber praktisch unmglich und hat sich nach jeweils mehreren Tagen 3 mal gelst, so dass ich die Lftungsgitter-Befestigung nachbestellen mute.
Wenn Du Dich fr den Fahrzeugtyp Schweres Wohnmobil” entscheidest und entsprechende Fahrzeugabmessungen eingibst, werden enge Nebenstraen und unntige Ortsdurchfahrten vermieden. Beim leichten Wohnmobil wirst Du hingegen wie im PKW navigiert und landest in Tempo 30-Zonen, kleinen Ortschaften oder auch mal vor einem Durchfahrt Verboten-Schild”, wo Du wahrscheinlich lieber auf der schnelleren Bundesstrae geblieben wrst. Hier fehlt mir eine Einstellmglichkeit wie Nebenstraen und Ortsdurchfahrten meiden”. Dies gilt aber grundstzlich fr alle Navis und ist nicht allein bei Tom Tom aus meiner Sicht ein Problem.
Dieses Gert ist somit eine sehr gute und empfehlenswerte Wahl. Etwas besseres wirst Du aktuell wohl kaum auf dem Markt finden.
This is a very versatile TomTom but with flaws. It doesn’t react as quickly as it should and has some weird start up procedures. This is my 5th machine so I do know how they should behave.

This is amazing. No more towing a caravan down farm tracks, this picks the most appropriate route. And talk about ease in updating the satnav? Wow. Just tell it to update in the house and away it goes. No more connecting it to the computer, fighting to get a connection between the satnav and the internet. Fantastic.
Ho acquistato il Tom Tom appositamente per il mio nuovo camper: dopo 6 mesi di utilizzo devo dire che se lo si usa esclusivamente per quello scopo non ha soddisfatto le mie aspettative. Ottimo in autostrada e sulle vie principali ha per dato segnali di incongruenza rispetto all’uso in camper: infatti in numerose occasioni su strade di minor traffico (campagna, collina etc) mi avrebbe portato su strade strette e poco affidabili per il mio mezzo, (a volte chiuse)costringendomi a fare deviazioni inutili e perditempo. Per fortuna uso in affiancamento Google Maps che sempre preciso, ma non so se mi far fare strade adatte alle dimensioni del camper. Ho provato a dargli impostazioni differenti ma sempre inutilmente

-hat uns zweimal auf einen Feldweg geleitet, da wir auf Mautstraen verzichten wollten und die Landstrae nicht erkannt wurde.
– hat eine Brcke, leider nicht als zu niedrig erkannt. Da steht man dann mit 7,5 Metern auf einer engen Strae und darf wenden.
Wre schn wenn man Fehler” oder nderungen irgendwie an TomTom mitteilen knnte.
Make sure to Set it up correctly, ( I didn’t when I first used it) ooh what fun that was, now all set up with M/Home dimensions. Now working just fine !!!
I previously bought a different make of sat nav because I wanted one for a motorhome. However the map function on that sat nav was very poor and slow.
So I reverted to a TomTom, a make I’ve had before without any problem! I was not disappointed, the mapping is very quick and reliable. Setting it up for my vehicle was quick and this year I’ve been down the South West of England and up to John O’ Groats without any problems with the mapping.
All in all I’m very pleased and recommend it wholeheartedly!
Einwandfrei, ist wirklich eine Erleichterung und Untersttzung bei der Fahrt mit dem Wohnmobil.
Ich wrde dies nicht missen wollen.

The sat nav does what it says on the tin. As with most units the life on battery alone is not much, perhaps only an hour or so but as long as its plugged in the unit works fine.
We own a Motorhome, and the Sat Nav has not taken us down any narrow lanes or low bridges, great bit of kit.
Recently bought the camper version of the TomTom Go sat nav after recently buying a motor home, used it only three times on an actual trip with no problems, kept me out of any narrow lanes, tested it before my trip at home on a known route normally taking some narrow lanes, but it took me a slightly longer route to miss out these narrow lanes.
My old caravan sat nav (Snooper) was having charging difficulties. While looking for a new unit, I noticed Tomtom unit for caravans, what I’ve about it is no more conecting it to my PC for updates, its all done through our WIFI, this includes the speed camera subscription we have.
I have never had a Tom Tom that does daily updates before. Bought this for our new wheelchair access van so the height restricted car park warnings are such a great feature. Overall, very impressed.
I purchased this as an upgrade because I wanted to use with my Caravan, I did ask Tom Tom about transferring my contacts and routes from my previous device, they were not helpful. Remember if you have a previous Tom Tom and use Tom Tom My Drive you will have your previous device registered here also you should have a Tom Tom Account. It was easy and just synced my account to the new device. Another point you can use Bluetooth or Wifi. I have the My Drive App on my Computer and on my Phone and I can say at the moment it is syncing well. The Guy at Southampton really hadnt got a clue, because of him I nearly sent it back. Anyway alls well.
Anfangs habe ich den Umleitungen nicht getraut. Nach mehreren Staus glaube ich nun Tomtom und habe selten im Stau gestanden. Manchmal ist die POI Eingabe noch ungewohnt…
I use this on my Motorhome. It’s good at selecting routes and giving dynamic information on the route ahead. When setting up it asks for the speed of your vehicle. This is a nonsense. Having told the device your vehicles configuration and weight it should tell you the speed limit for your vehicle on the road you are on at the time. It doesn’t. You can be on a 60 limit single carriageway road and your vehicles limit is 50, but it does not tell you this. OK a driver should know the speed limits on the roads for their vehicle, but sometimes the speed creeps up especially in a line of traffic. The device hooks up with my phone easily and is simple to use.
Bought this device to go with the Motorhome, avoiding low bridges and narrow roads. Only used it the once so far but it seems to manage the route well. I would still plan the main route manually and leave the TomTom to the local areas.
Das ist ein super Navi, Preis Leistung passt.
Die Einstellmglichkeiten fr Auto als Solobetrieb wie auch mit Wohnwagen sind genau zum Einstellen. Einfache Bedienung.

Upgraded from a 2005 model and so this new Camper model is a huge step up. Very impressed by the features and especially being able to design trips on thecmputer, before beaming them to the sat nav. Lovely big, clear screen, smooth operation and responsive touch screen. My one beef is it takes an age to download / install even a tiny 6MB file if you do so over wi fi. This seems to be a long-term, known issue, so I’ll I’ll plug into the PC for updates whiner I can.
I bought this direct from TomTom, by the way.
Early days but screen is very good, first run with it running was Bristol to home. I’m just working out how to set up the phone hands free option which would be an asset. Then once lockdown finishes well try a longer run.
The ability to input motorhome size and weight a must for people with large vehicles. Also suitable for car and van drivers.
good for our campervan and an improvement over the standard version we have in both our cars as we can input teh dimensions to avoid low barriers.
Had all the Garmin Camper satnavs but this is by far the best.. !!!

Usual TomTom qualty and reliability
A lot of people don’t like TomTom sat navs but I have used them for years and have gotten very used
to their products,
What I like about this model is built in sim for connection to TomTom services, no need to use mob phone
to tether, traffic subscription free for life of unit, free maps for life, and free speed camera updates
has a 6″ screen and easily updates via WiFi but needs a good download speed
Allows input of vehicle dimensions, which I have tested and found to be quite accurate
not sure about every restriction but so far can’t fault,
Like any sat nav use common sense
Typically TopTom – A great satnav, easy to setup and use. I don’t know about the accuracy of the customised vehicle size and how this impacts the routing but so far so good. One negative comment would be the language (Dutch I believe) in the description of campsite facilities? Even when every is configured for English settings, descriptions still end up being in a foreign language?
Been using this for a while now, though not as much as planned due to covid! Definitely better for a caravan and motorhome use than a normal satnav, app or inbuilt one. Compared to the Garmin version, found the tomtom to start up much quicker with the traffic and routing to better. Using the tomtom Mydrive app makes planning etc easy to do.
The extra features of the unit are all icing on the cake, making the whole thing something we can definitely recommend.
Lacking in features like not being able to add personalized images on POIs
Since TomTom changed their mapping routing is not as accurate.
Lack of information from Tomtom like is the sim card 2G and what if the 2GH signal is turned off?
sehr gutes Navi fr Wohnmobil, aber auch fr andere Fahrzeuge nutzbar. Der aktuelle Straenzustand immer korrekt dargestellt.
Es muy bueno. Slo tienes que escribir las coordenadas y te llueva hasta el mismo destino. Hice un largo viaje, pase por 12 pases y sin ningn problema.
Peccato che nella custodia del Tom Tom,non entra la base del caricatore, (un po piu grande la si poteva fare). Potevate aggiungere la spina elettrica per ricaricare il TomTom. U
Reagiert und berechnet sehr schnell. Ist fr ein Wohnmobil auch ausreichend gro.
Wir haben die Daten unseres PKW + Wohnwagen eingegeben und das Teil fhrt uns bisher bestens !

Had the car only version of this and this the same only you can put size of vehicles in.My old one brilliant for getting me places and avoiding traffic so this should be just as good.
Ne possedevo uno dal 2013. Anche questa volta l’ho riacquistato per il camper dopo una lunga ricerca tra altre marche presenti sul mercato. Affidabile se lo si usa seguendo le istruzioni.
