I liked the large turntable and the higher power than my previous one. It performs well and I have no problems with it. On the other hand the controls seem a little fussy and I would have preferred the outer shell to be silver. I am not a fan of everything being black.
Works well and is very slightly quieter than my previous Panasonic microwave. I bought it as folk said it was quieter. I tend to just use it to heat drinks and reheat and cook food. The ‘beverage’ button is pretty pointless as far as I can see as you have to press it 3 times for a mug whereupon it proceeds to heat it for 3mins, whereas you can just press the number 3 once and get it to do the same thing !?! Hey ho.
Love this microwave its simple to use once you read instructions a few times it’s good for all types of cooking the combi modes are great…not long bought so have been experimenting . Also paid the sale price of 170.00 happy days…

My elderly parents carers put a meal in their microwave which had a tinfoil base. I can’t grumble since the carers are lovely to my folks but sometimes there’s is a bit of cultural difference as maybe they haven’t experienced a microwave in the past, (bless ’em), so no biggy.
I had to get a new one and this was on offer for less than 60. What’s great about it is it’s simple. No confusing microprocessor and 1001 different settings, it’s the timeless design of a power knob and a timer knob. Mom and Dad had some nice hot meals since Sunday when it came and the carers haven’t managed to blow this one up yet.
Don’t ever be fooled by stainless steel Inside and out microwave ovens.
I don’t usually purchase a Microwave oven that has that grey-painted outer frame.
I had purchased a Stainless Steel Microwave that lasted approx two years and the magnetron decided to fail.
Although I could have repaired it, I decided to go for a basic manual operation oven.
In the long run, a new magnetron would have priced out just by buying a new oven.
Of course, you cannot hear it because of I.D Content playing in the background.
Cooks fast and a brand I have always found their products are durable.
Excellent microwave if anyone is on a budget, It has a 20-litre capacity.
Great as a microwave but the small gripe I have with it is that you can’t control the times when using other modes, and are forced into pre-set times which leaves you no control over the food you are cooking.
This microwave is easy to use. Looks nice and sleek on the worktop.
So far, it cooks food evenly and is easy to clean.
Has a glass plate that sits on the turntable.
Will hold a small/ medium dinner plate.
Looks amazing, very pleased with the aesthetics and the interior is super easy to clean. Have not had any issues so far, definitely outperforms our old unit when it comes to preparing popcorn (a common issue with some models). The microwave is extremely intuitive and easy to use with a variety of preprogrammed timer/settings. The countdown timer is also quite futuristic, indicating time frame intervals. In conclusion I’d say it’s a solid contender for this price range.
Well made, works well and had it for three months. Pleased with it’s compact size and appearance. However I don’t like the restricted ability to set variable cooking times for some of the functions. Preset times only. Also the preset times don’t take any account of the weight of the food
Bought this for my elderly mum ( 94 ) She had problems reading the screen and hitting the correct buttons on her old microwave.
With the twist dials on the Toshiba it is so much easier for her to use.
leave the heat setting in one position and twist the timer to the desired time wait 2-5 mins depending what’s cooking or re-heating and its job done. 800w cooks faster than the 700w so pleased we opted for the 20l x 800w
Nice size and quite weighty so it won’t slide over the worktop when the door is opened. very quiet in use, Nice finish on the paintwork, good value for money. Will highly recommend.
So the last microwave we’d had for years. I’m not sure we ever really cleaned it properly as it dawned on me it was utterly revolting and beyond saving. So, that went in the bin. Didn’t want to spend a fortune, don’t think you should have to for such a cooking tool
Turns out you don’t. This wasn’t the cheapest but was well down there. It’s so far so good. Heats stuff. On time. So that’s good.
It’s pretty light weight so I got in unpacked and up on a shelf in the garage pretty easily. It seems to work well. Timer is fine, heat level.is fine, and not overly noisy. The light inside with the door shut is dim so you can’t really see what’s going on in there, but it’s pretty obvious it’s getting warm; or hot depending what you chose. I have no complaints so far. You can gwt enough in there so good capacity. I mean who wants to put a whole chiken in there, if you do, don’t bother with this one it’s not that big. It sits nice on the side and ain’t gonna wobble. Makes a sweet ping when it’s done. Yep, so, all in all, good value, works well, looks fine. Decent overall pop de ping.
I use both microwave and baking options on daily basis. I like the display, but have found the instructions poor and machine not very intuitive to use. I have found that it does cook well and fast due to the combination options. It also quieter than our older Sharp microware. Once you know how it is easy to use!
Good quality microwave works as it should too many preprogrammes for me would have preferred a more straightforward basic operation but I’m sure I’ll work it all out
Bit disappointed with the air fryer operation again all preprogrammed I would have preferred to programme as I want but instead you have set times for some basic cooking
You are also missing a cook book which would have explained how to use the microwave and combination programmes
This beside it’s a good quality microwave which could be so much bette
This replaced our previous microwave we had for at least 15 years. It was smaller but the space and power is sufficient. My only disappointment is that you can’t see clearly through the window when in use. Sauces/ liquids could overflow because of this. My previous machine had good vision. Otherwise it’s fine.
A very efficient machine, however, the plate positioning is quite difficult to maintain and locate. The knobs are black on black which makes using the timing and power of the machine difficult for someone with slight visual impairment a.k.a me.
Love this microwave. I had ordered one before this which was not good but i am very happy with this. Food is very hot which makes me think my last microwave was definately on the way out. Inside is silver not white which is better and hopefully prevents rust, dials are easy to read and plenty of room for a normal sized dinner plate. It also looks very nice, and the inside light is not too bright, it also has a built in/sealed filter on the inside, my last microwave had a paper thing thay kept falling off No complaints!
I bought this for the “Quiet” button but have not managed to get it to silence – and work at the same time.
After over cooking a few things I went to check what was the wattage and i could not find it on the machine at all but apparently its an 800 same as my last one.
Other than that its idea size etc you can get a whole dinner plate in it but its not too big overall.
My previous microwave (a different brand costing about the same), had to be replaced after just a couple of years as the plastic coating inside was flaking off leaving exposed rust. I’m pleased to say that this one seems much better made and the door closes with a satisfying clunk; it’s also much quieter than the one it replaced. It’s a fairly standard no frills device that allows per second timing and has a few special settings, although oddly no bread defrost button which I use a lot. I also think that all microwaves should display the power output on the front as it’s easy to forget and a faff to spend longer searching for the manual than it will take to cook the ready meal you have in your hand; the previous one did, this one doesn’t. All-in-all very happy with the purchase for the price.
Brought before Christmas as realised indid actually need a replacement not everything can be done in the air fryer lol. Really good micro heats very quickly very simple to use no super hard buttons and programes. Only thing I find is you need to leave the door open for bit after use or its gets a lot water build up inside.
Feel obliged to leave a review for I myself had spent good few days searching and comparing, hopefully, could be helpful for someone in a similar situation.
* It is a well made, easy to use, and minimalistically (in a good way) looking microwave.
* The door is glossy but there’s a hidden handle to open it so it doesn’t collect too many fingerprints too soon.
* When working, the internal light is on and you can see through the door. It is not as transparent as some other models, but perfectly fine to see the milk foam before it spills off, for example.
* The child lock is really easy to set on and off.
* Basic microwave functions are very intuitive to find/use. One press of a button switches it on at 800 for 30sec, etc. I didn’t even open the manual to start using it. Other options are also easy to navigate.
* Unlike some other reviews, our has a 24h time format, which is perfect.
* It is quite spacious for a 20l microwave, the interior is bigger than in some other models I was looking at, and compared to our previous one. A standard dinner plate fits in easily.
Yet to see how long it will survive for, but so far so good, really pleased with the purchase.
Good machine but no recipe book or decent cooking instructions, absolute zilch customer service. The oven works very well but the instructions for use have been written by someone who has used the machine regularly and is very basic, and is not very helpful in providing examples of basic recipes and cooking techniques as most ovens do. I had seen it advertised on Youtube with a recipe book included. I contacted customer services to ask for said recipe book and the person at the other end told me there wasn’t one, she was also very unhelpful with regard to using and finding a recipe book. Complained to Toshiba, I spoke to friend in electrical retail whos said, “What do you expect from Toshiba they are extremely poor at comms and custtomer support.” I have kept the oven as it functions very well as a microwave and an air fryer. I am still scouring the internet for a copy of the missing cookbook or something that will help me use it to i’s full potential. Last time I buy anything from Toshiba!
This is a simple and efficient microwave oven with no electronic buttons just a timer dial and a power dial. As it is grey inside the cooking light is quite dim. This isn’t an issue for me as I don’t watch the dish going round and round! It is compact and fits nicely onto my counter top.
I was a little surprised how cheap international version of this Toshiba digital microwave oven was. For the price, it was good enough for basic use. Probably, it has been designed in Japan and assembled in their factory in China for low cost mass production. Although, the coating on steel looked very basic and it does not look like long-lasting rust-proof stainless steel, so it may get rusty if moisture stayed inside, which means it is better to use cling wrap or cover with minimum steam escape, then better to wipe clean with dry tea towel after use to prevent the rust. I personally would like a 24 hour clock setting if possible, because their 12 hour clock does not show it is AM or PM during the dark British winter morning or evening. That’s possibly the sun rises in the same specific time all over the year in some countries like Japan.
Only been using this new one for a few days but so far I am impressed. Very quick & easy to set precise power & timing, which with my old Sharp one was often frustrating. It was some 20yrs old, had served me very well but the buttons for selecting power / time etc were no longer 100% & the digital display was no longer easy to see so inevitably over Christmas I had a little mishap over heating a Christmas pudding creating a real mess. This one is much easier to clean inside too, I’ve found any small spillage doesn’t stick to the surface like my old one. The fan is also a LOT quieter, the old one sounded like a small propeller aeroplane humming & vibrating.
Our previous microwave (a Sanyo) had a failed bulb that had no access to replace it and was starting to get rusty, so having read positive reviews of the Toshiba we bought one. After almost a year I see the good points and the niggles. The good points are that it cooks and reheats evenly, the door opens and closes easily and the instant full power for various minutes are a real asset. The niggles are that the defrost function has ‘by time’ or ‘by weight’ options, but nothing in the manual explains how to choose the time for anything, so only the weight is usable. Our Sanyo used to do part of the defrost, then pause for 2 minutes for temperatures to equalise then go again to finish the defrosting. The Toshiba does it in one go, and dense foods like joints of meat need longer that the weight decides. I add 10% to the actual weight for a proper defrost without starting to cook. The turntable rotates jerkily rather than smoothly, and it is too easy to dislodge from the drive and is fiddly to put back. The clock doesn’t keep exactly to time and gradually gets fast so I had to reset it about every 6 weeks. The time functions are not consistent: If I Time Cook, I put in (say) 415 and it assumes a leading zero and I get 4 minutes and 15 seconds; If I use the Kitchen Timer function and put in 415 it assumes a zero on the end and I get 41 minutes and 50 seconds. That took a bit of getting used to. None of the niggles would put me off buying one again, but I can’t give it 5 stars.
This is a small, effective microwave with minimal controls – just two knobs: one for power settings, and the other for timing. It has no frills, no readout, and not even the usual digital clock! It does its job and the results are as good as the old, more complex microwave I had to throw out and which it replaces. The timer is wholly analogue and setting is from the dial only. It is approximate but adequate. It counts down and ‘pings’ when finished. If you open the door, it stops BUT doesn’t reset and the most infuriating aspect is that it starts up again when you later shut the door and then you need manually to return it to zero. The secondary irritation is the smoothness of the knobs. They is hard to grip unless hands are completely dry. So in summary, a good little microwave. Ideal for student or small household. Good value but very basic and with manual features most other models replaced with digital buttons long ago. For these reasons only 4 stars.
Still delighted with it after more than a year of use. It is really easy to use, ceramic interior seems robust and it looks good. It is very handy to just press start button for 30s increments (press 4 times for 2 mins etc). Would buy again.
I find the controls really easy to use, overall the build quality for the price feels okay. The reason it doesn’t get five stars for what it is, is that the turntable inside feels flimsy compared to previous models, but I suppose it’s good for the price. I myself have eyesight trouble. I am blind, and I think people who are also blind and maybe have dexterity issues which struggle to put it back compare to say a larger, slightly more well built model. It does have a lovely, simple interface, and it does the job.
This microwave is small , compact and stylish and does a good job microwaving . I purchased the rotary dial version and the only problem is the dial is incredibly slippy and very difficult to grip. If you have any strength problems with your grip/hands , I would recommend you buy the digital version as you will have great difficulty with the rotary dial versio
Bought this for my mum, she is not good with technology, says its just more to go wrong, she might be right. SO easy to use, just select the power then the time with two rotatory knobs, no bleeping buttons to get confused with. Sturdy construction and easy to clean.
Very pleased with microwave, have been using it a couple of months now no problems.
I like the turntable always returning to the start position, great on containers with handles.
My only gripe is the small size of the button identification text, once you get to know the buttons your ok.
After my microwave giving up (good make) after 3 years I decided to go for a cheaper one. This is really good, quick and handy pre-programmes, I like one touch button you press to automatically add 30 seconds plus to time and use this mostly. Coated steel inside is great, easy to clean and looks great. Light is slightly dim and buttons are hard to see but with regular use I’ll be able to use it with my eyes closed. Overall pleased with purchase.
Delivery bang on. Just the right one for me, no faff, easy to use, simple instructions. WHATS NOT TO LIKE! Why would Amazon think I want a new microwave when they just delivered one?
It works OK but as others have said the numbers on the timer are difficult to see and the timing is not accurate and no seconds, what I have done is downloaded a timer for my smart phone and that times from 1 second to hours, I use that for accurate timing. Just turn it on higher than the timing you need then turn it off when your phone timer beeps at you.
Being disabled, I ordered this to replace my old microwave that had died. I’m pleased with the machine itself, but have to say it being not delivered by Royal Mail was quite inconvenient. I had to order food in as it did not arrive next day, and Royal Mail decided to only deliver a card through my door to say it was a heavy item, and needed to be collected from the sorting office. However, the microwave itself is here now, and works fine.
bought on a prime day so cheaper than usual
does the job, doesnt seem to heat liquid as quick as my old 800w beastie but that became unusable to paint loss inside and i hope this doesnt go the same way
The power level dial could be clearer with bigger and whiter icons, the grey icons are hard to read without me reading specs so if you need glasses learn to read what setting you are on by the digital display
all in all happy with it on day one.
on a side note it was delivered by a nice lady from royal mail who couldnt lift it so i had to walk out to her van to retrieve the box
Best thing is that it cooks well. If you use a low setting, it cooks at that setting rather than cooking very hot for a few seconds then stopping for a few seconds, repeat. The result is that things like eggs don’t overcook or explode like they did in my old microwave on low settings. The dials are really easy to use. It has not started to rust inside like my old one did within weeks of purchase. So far – fantastic and I would purchase again. Bad points: The markings are ridiculously indistinct and I have to put my glasses on to read. You get used to that and you can always add extra marks in tipex or white paint if you want to. The dial is not accurate when you get to the last few minutes. For instance, set to 3 minutes and it will often stop after 2. Again, you get used to this but it is annoying. The worst thing was the delivery but that is not the products fault. A certain company promised next day delivery but it never arrived. They sent another promise for the next day and the next. We wasted 5 days of our life before cancelling and reordering. The reorder arrived as promised. Summary: Cooks really well. Good luck with delivery!
Excellent microwave. The only slight problem is the timer knob is stiff and slippery. Dry hands are essential.
Small and easy to accommodate.
No confusing workings.
Very straightforward.
Does the job!
For some reason I expected it to be silver but it’s obviously white. Satisfying machanical ‘ding’ when timer finishes instead of an electrical ‘beep’. The ‘ceiling’ inside is flat for easier cleaning than my last microwave. The light only comes on when cooking and stays off if you leave the door open for any condensation to evaporate, which is great.
great little microwave. cant fault it really.
light inside only comes on when you start it, not when you open the door.
also it only gives a very quiet ‘ding’ once its finished cooking so unless your in the same room you wont hear it finish. previous microwave gave 4 to 5 loud beeps to say it was done.
thats the only down side to it.
Good looking, easy to use, basic microwave. The timing knob is a little bit hard to turn and it’s difficult to see the settings but it’s not a top of the range model.
This arrived promptly and works fine. I collected at a pick up point very close to home, at the local shop. We have never really worked out how to get the most from this microwave. It probably seems more complicated than it is, but we knew the old one so well and operating this doesn’t seem anything like the old one. We only use what is necessary.
Small compact, easy to use and good for a small kitchen.
Service was excellent. As I now live alone, many of my meals are microwaved, as it is quicker and less trouble than oven cooking. My old microwave enamel was cracking on the inside, and I felt it a good idea to replace it. This microwave does all I require, is efficient, and easy to keep clean – what more could one want??
Reasonably good microwave, attractive looking and relatively easy to use. Good value for money.
I bought a cheaper microwave, Not for the usual purpose. To melt glass!!. That is how hot it can get. You must use the apropriate equipment that is safe and effective. HotPot.
For me this microwave fits the bill well, digital for accurate timing, a fairly smooth rotation and a variable power range.
I dont see any manufacturer selling their units for this purpose so thought just to add mine.
It’s really effective at warming food and beverages. It has only been overboiled once, and I am pretty bad at correctly checking and setting the time on an analogue microwave. The button to open the microwave keeps popping out though…
Bit smaller than what we were used to but makes up for it in many ways.
Like the way as soon as you plug it in It’s ready to go.
Loving the minute selection. Without programming. Press 2 and you get two minutes. Before had to wait for microwave to come on then type in 2 mins.
Air comes out of back so can put something on top of microwave.
As microwaves go great little product for the money.
Cannot fault this microwave – neat, well finshed and easy to use with a powerful cooking capability. My only gripe would be full size dinner plates are abit of a tight squeeze, but hey I can live with this minor point. Superb!
Good value for money, bought for elderly person so easy for them to use..
It’s doing the job and doing it quickly. Space enough for large plates and easy enough instructions for what at first glance looked like a complicated control panel.
The only negative thing I have to say about this is that the clock can only be set in 12-hour mode and has no AM/PM display. Very tiny complaint, can always look out the window to see if it’s day or nigh
I bought this manual after having a digital microwave and much prefer this one. It does exactly what it says it does. Very easy to use. The only downside, the controls are a little on the small side, and a little stiff to turn and may be difficult for older customers, otherwise very pleased with this.
To microwave 1 to 6 mins just press 1 & micro cooks for one min! This works for button 1 to 6 e.g press 3 for 3 mins. No need to press start. That was quite nice.
Bought for elderly person but proved very difficult for them to use because of very small almost illegible dial to set time for programme.
Effective and simple microwave. Does the job of cooking and reheating very efficiently. Compact external dimensions but still has a good internal capacity for cooking.
Lacks the multiple modes and the conventional oven element of the one that it was bought to replace, but I never once used those anyway.
When it arrived the following day I was very excited, I thought it was very light, imagine my disappoint when I opened it and found toilet roll ha ha ha! Told Amazon and got a real one the next day. Thank you Amazon. Does what it says on the box , I only need a microwave to heat stuff up and nothing else, it does that well, only minutes not seconds but good for the price
It’s what they say in the description. Only thing is i was expecting it to be bigger compared to what i got. Overall good purchase.
I WISH I’D GONE FOR A SLIGHTLY BIGGER ONE, as I didn’t calculate the sizes of 2 of my cooking dishes, but was very pleased with quality design etc
Everything okay but setting the time for the clock is a nightmare.
It is simple in use. The power level is a bit small but it is ok for such small capacity oven.
Won’t give it 5 Stars the dials are hard to see if you are and older Person also the Plate comes off very easily not the best Microwave I ever had !
Good all round microwave. Does what it needs to at a good price. The plastic that covers the buttons split in the first week. Makes it look untidy.
looks good easy to use, cooks veg well, just love i
I got the digital version, it looks very stylish, it’s easy to operate and simple to clean. Very satisfied.
Easy to use, simple settings. It has no vent slots so you will need to leave the door open after use to prevent condensation in i
Wonderful product. easy to clean and use. perfect size for two people. Great value for money.
Good cheap microwave. Unfortunately the first one blew up but Amazon replaced it with no hassle.
Really basic and easy to use microwave. Nothing fancy about it, does exactly what a microwave is supposed to do.
Should have bought digital screen not manual for settings. But happy enough.
An uncomplicated oven, with just two controls (power and time). Our only criticism is the timer knob is very small and stiff.
I haven’t had it long, so not used to it yet. I will need to come back later to add to this review. First impressions are positive though. It looks well made, and does the job. It replaced a really old one, that had become extremely noisy, and was bigger than this, and grey, so to have a nice bright white one, that is much quieter, is a welcome change. I’m so glad I was not put off by some of the bad reviews. I believe if you use things as they were designed, they will be fine. If I don’t have time to wipe any steam away, I make sure I leave the door open. Doing simple things like this can make all the difference. Very happy I chose this one from the bewildering amount available.
Although this is a small microwave it is very powerful. Ready meals are well cooked. A lot cheaper to use than my cooker. Fits nicely on my work surface and under a wall hanging cupboard.
If you want a microwave with all the bells and whistles, this is not for you. It is a very basic model, which is what I wanted.
The instructions on using it are easy to follow. Plug it in, set the dials and that is it. I have dodgy hands, but had no problems turning the dials to the correct settings.
A good purchase, which I am very happy with.
Well pleased with this microwave, heats food up very easily. However, like many other customers i find it difficult to read the numbers on the timer switch.
Looks good, compact size, does what it says on the tin at very competitive price – very happy with purchase.
Am getting used to this oven as it has a few quirks. It stands lower in the housing than the previous small 8oo watt one I had previously so have to bend down to read the push buttons for power selection etc. ok for a 5-foot 6 person!
My mum is 86 and needed something easy to use – this is it. Open the door, food in, close it, power and time on dials, job done.
The power is good (some microwaves seem lacking, not this one) and it’s not too noisy. It doesn’t clear steam with a fan like some do, so it’s important to leave the door open after use.
The only downsides I can say is that the knobs are a little stiff for arthritic fingers (though doable), and it’s not easy to do less than a minute on the timer. Fo a 30 sec ‘top up’ I’ve had to get my mum to do a full minute but turn the power down to half. That’s OK, but she forgets sometimes when it comes to the next use.
Limits aside, it’s easy and powerful and from a decent brand, which was important to my mum.
Nice and easy to use.The ting I don’t like is the selection panel it’s difficult to see for me.Otherwise I am very pleased with the machine
We just needed a microwave and this fits the bill. Only thing is ..the timing knob could do with some form of grip grooves as it is rather small and stiff to rotate for arthritic hands. Other nice job, compact and powerful.
Great microwave for your usual every day lunch and tea heating when you’ve forgotten you made a cuppa.
Doesn’t always spin microwave popcorn all the way through the 2 min 30 seconds when the bag inflates but fits normal plates.
Shopped around for best value Microwave picked the Toshiba very happy with it.
Does the job but what ever you do ,do not rely on timer, very inaccurate.
Good device. Has buttons for mins. No messing with a dial. Easy to use. A little nosier than the one I had before
I would recommend this. Easy to use and follow instructions. The knob say very little wobble and is precise.
I had been using an analogue microwave I’d been given and I wanted digital. This is small which I needed and easy to use. A large dinner plate fits in. One touch to cook for 1-6 mins. Very pleased, good price. Only con is that I leave the door open after use to air / dry it and the light stays on. ( Think the bulb had gone in my old one, it may have been the same!)
I used to have a cheep manual microwave I got from a supermarket. It was okay but it was tiny and didn’t last long. So I bought a Tower one that was really large and had 3 dedicated buttons like popcorn etc. This was so loud I thought it was one from the 90’s era and it didn’t cook or heat food properly. It also burnt the popcorn and left half unpopped at the same time. So when I saw this one I was sceptical. I expected it to be too small, noisy and have the dedicated button setting way out of line with what their functions are meant to be. I am please that I was wrong on all of those points.
The noise level is so quiet. The dinner plate setting is perfect. I can press it once for a plate of food at room temperature or press it twice for food straight from the fridge and it heat the food to 175- 187 degrees consistantly. I did learn than the center of the glass plate is a cold spot. So a bowl of soup needs to be put off center and as far to the outer edge as possible for best results. Plates of rice are best stired half way through reheating. But that is my preferance. I just find it heats it more evenly and not some bits like rubber and other bits not quite up to safe temperature. I like the one touch options above the line on the number grid. Very hand when you know how many whole minutes uou need to cook for.
The size is a good size. Not too small. I would have liked to get a larger option of this but 20L is proving to be a perfect size for my needs after all.
Works perfectly fine but when you use it there is absolutely loads of condensation inside.
The whole insides is dripping wet.
Apart from that it’s fine.
Great price and works fine – only issue is the dial that shows the cooking time – very small figures many be an issue if struggle with sight.
Works ok despite the pidgin English manual However if you buy this mat do not unplug the battery holder / control unit once you connect the unit to the mat via the press stud connections, it will loosen the connection to the mat after a couple of times. I did this, after each use and after 3 times it stopped working, I investigated it and found that the press stud in the mat had lost its connection, got it back working by tightening said press studs, I leave it connected now, no problem. Does what it said on the box.
A really good product. Very simple and straightforward controls. Just what I wanted to cook Microwave meals. Would definitely recommend.
delivered on time very simple to use ,one slight problem for me was it is difficult to see numbers under the lower knob ,as the whole unit needs to be higher than on the work surface so you can see the numbers that are under the dial ing knob
