Far beyond the world and its petty wars there exists a dimension of pure, malevolent magic: The Realm of Chaos. It is a terrible place, incomprehensible to the mortal mind. It whispers promises of power, but to behold it is to be seduced by it. To relinquish your soul to it. To become it.

I purchased this game after playing the original two and have to say that despite the few issues with a bit of stutter. I am very impressed with the game.

I do have a few issues with the Chaos Gods and that’s that some (namely Nurgle) lacks some units and has a very limited selection. Khorne has the biggest choice over all and the others sit in between.

The other factions that I played: Cathay and Kislev, have a nice variety of units to choose from and definitely feel like the most fleshed out of the factions. Chaos Undivided is really fun to play with your custom Daemon Prince and the option to pick-n-mix the various Chaos legions, this is the current best choice if you want to give all of the Chaos Gods armies a play with, though you can be penalised for certain choices.

Looking forward to the release of Immortal Empires which will be the biggest map they have ever done and will include all previous factions from the other two games in the series.

Edit: Immortal Empires has finally been added to the game which allows you to play ANY of the factions you own from previous games.

    Fan of the series
