it really is a nice looking microwave also the stainless steel interia which wil make it very easy to clea
The stainless steel interior makes it easier to clean and unlike painted interiors shouldn’t peel. The dial isn’t easy to tell time between the minutes, ie, if you need to cook for1 minute 30 seconds it is difficult to get the 30 seconds accurately. Otherwise good design and easy to clea

A very simple microwave to operate with mechanical timing knobs. Looks good and at a good price. Only one negative being the glass plate does move around a bit resulting in some vibration.

Like that it’s not as bulky as my last microwave, like that it’s a stainless steel, rustproof interior, like that it’s vent is at the side, so if I put something on top it isn’t blocking anything. What’s not to like ? Nothing. A great microwave

I found this device great, by the timer .It is a joke, you need a magnifying glass to set the time correctly ,this will discourage people from having one .I am pondering returning it.It is a pity stainless steel etc sadly let down by a stupid timer Control.It has started to malfunction on high power, just switched off 3 times
it is working fine now but the timer switch seems to be a bit loose lot of free play wonderful to clean i have decided to keep it because i am 81 live alone thank god and rely heavily on a micro for my food i have a back up one digital but rusty inside. if this one throws in the towel it can be replaced by amazon who do a great job and there team of workers i would be lost with out them.

Been using this for a few months and have generally appreciated the simplicity of dials for setting heat and time. Our other microwave is a complex do everything device – steams, grills, microwaves, etc – but for day to day use this can’t be beat on the whole. Except for one issue. The timer dial is tricky to use for very short times. Setting for 90 seconds is a bit hit and miss for example as the dial is a bit crude for that. Obviously for short times, I would with either put a time in and then watch what’s happening. But if you wanted very short – say 20 second timing (warming up butter from the fridge, you would need to keep an eye on what’s happening inside.
but with that one issue, it’s a great tool. Not a huge lump in the kitchen and easy to use.
Efficient enough at heating up ready meals but not useful for cooking or defrosting. Very much reminds me of the first generation of microwaves in its design and capacity. Just about enough to warm up a plate meal in a bedsit or student digs but it wasn’t enough in a family kitchen. Passed it onto a friend moving into his place as a gift. Wouldn’t recommend for any other purpose.
It`s odd that microwaves are made without a digital display, as this reduces the accuracy of any time you input. Admittedly, I tend to use it more for either pain relief heat packs and microwaveable rice so it is not as though I`ll be poisoned by being a second or two out. A simple bell informs you that cooking time is up and the capacity is normal size. It looks nice, simple and white.
Not a bad entry level microwave though I have seen better. It’s a reasonable size for any household and pretty simple to use. Personally I hate any dial type controls because I think they’re inaccurate. I’d rather have digital, push-button control but it appears to do the job. I see other reviewers prefer the analogue approach so it’s really horses for courses and it would be remiss of me to take my preferences into account on the rating. There are four heat settings to choose from and also the standard defrost function so you’re not short of options, I just wish there was a simple 30 second burst option or something similar. Based on other reviews I’ve checked the microwave thoroughly for loose items, rust and anything that looks like a defect and I’m pleased to say there’s none. It appears to be in good working order so I’ll give it five stars.
This is a very basic microwave that doesn’t take up much space and is very easy to use. The 700W power has worked well. The controls are very simple to use for anyone who doesn’t want loads of functions and a basic microwave oven. The timer is basic – but even with accurate digital timers, microwave cooking is never an exact science. The microwave looks good in the kitchen and is relatively inexpensive. It is worth considering.

If like me you want a microwave to heat things up or defrost them then this is the one for you! No all singing, all dancing computerised programming – just basic dials! Perfect! It heats and defrosts perfectly and is a standard microwave size.
It is a little more expensive than you would pay in a supermarket for a basic model though.

This microwave is not overly big and doesn’t have lots of fancy digital buttons, so if that’s what you’re looking for then this isn’t for you. It’s so simple to use, the top dial is your temperature setting including defrost, and the bottom dial is the timer. I got this for my sister as she’s moving into her own home and just needed something basic to cook the odd bowl of soup/jacket potato/ready meal etc and she’s really pleased with it. Doesn’t take up much space on the counter either, I would say it’s ideal for an older person to use or someone who doesn’t use a microwave that often and just wants something basic, but also stylish and good value.
Two minor complaints, firstly the internal light only comes on during cooking. It would have been nice if it had also come on automatically when the door is opened. Secondly, the mechanical timer isn’t particularly accurate. I set it for 5 minutes, and the microwave switched off after 4 minutes and 15 seconds. A digital timer would be better, not only because it is more accurate, but because it would allow you to select cooking times in excess of 30 minutes.
However, for the money I think this is a very good little basic microwave, and it gets my recommendation.
Appearance – this is a small white microwave. It isn’t particularly stylish but the design is simple enough that it will fit in with any decor. It is small and fits perfectly into my very small kitchen.
Ease of use – this microwave is incredibly easy to set up. You just remove the packing and plug it in. The booklet does advice you to heat a cut of water a few times before use to remove any residue that could cause it to smoke on first use. I did this and had no smoke or horrible smells. The microwave only has two dials so it is very easy to use. One controls the time and one controls the power level (defrost, low, medium, high etc).
Performance – I found the microwave worked very well and I am very pleased with it. I think there are only two issues that could cause problems for some people. Firstly, it is very small inside. I could not fit a couple of my microwavable dishes in it. I don’t mind this as I simply could not fit a large microwave in my tiny flat but do bear this in mind if you like to use items like microwaveable plastic cookware. Secondly, the timer is very basic and just has minutes on it. If you need to microwave something for short periods of time you need to put it on for a longer time and keep opening the door to check on it. It doesn’t really bother me as I only use my microwave for basic things but could be annoying if you regularly use it to do things like temper chocolate.
In conclusion, this microwave is excellent if you just need to reheat things and for basic cooking.
Amazon have replaced the complete microwave when that arrived and worked ok.

Very pleased with this purchase. I wanted a stainless steel manual microwave and this fits my requirements brilliantly. Good capacity and easy to use. If you want loads of pre-programmed controls this isn’t for you but if simple is what you want I’d recommend this cooker. It isn’t easy to use fir a very short time – you have to set the time beyond 2 minutes and then bring the dial back down but that’s the only drawback I’ve found.

The microwave is good value and most importantly for me was the stainless steel lining. It’s easy to clean and far better than the painted linings that rust out far too quickly. If I had one gripe it would be the time dial, you put it as close to the time you want as possible but it’s not very accurate. I put it on the one minute mark and it went off after just 30 seconds. This is not good for heating food safely so I find myself putting the timer on longer just to make sure.

This is a manual non-digital microwave, very easy to use with just timer and temperature controls. Hopefully it will last longer with fewer parts to go wrong. Very happy with it so far.
Here we are 13 months later and the timer control has gone berserk and is very, very dangerous. Timer turns clockwise instead of anti clockwise and the temperature controls are now all set to high. It boils frozen food very, very quickly on defrost. Amazon and Tower appear to be completely ignoring the problem. Can’t get this dodgy timer problem sorted, getting the runaround no one is interested. Make no mistake, this is a fire hazard.
I received my microwave the next day as was agreed.very happy with it, easy to use and easy to clean and blends in with my other white staff in the kitchen. I would definitely recommend it to other people.

After looking at combination grills I decided instead on a simple to use microwave, on the basis that there is less to break down as per reviews…reliability. Also wanted a smaller unit, that can still hold a larger plate and something that wasnt just another digital box but retro. Also wanted a stainless steel interior to minimise cleaning and surface deterioration/flaking – which I’d read is a problem with some other interiors after a while.
This ticks all the boxes. Gave 4 stars as less than 5 minutes is very tricky to get on an analogue dial.
