Ok here goes. It arrived quickly and undamaged. So i set about installing it. It said i needed an 8mm masonry and 10mm masonry bit. The 8 for the blind part and the 10 for the receiver post bolts. Eh wrong. It was a 10mm and a 12mm needed. Pretty basic error so instructions not great . Anyway i overcame this bit. Now to fit the box containing the blind. For a start the bracket is riveted onto the box upper and lower bracket. The bracket sits at the back of the box so no direct access to mark the holes. The bottom brackets are meant to clip over the bolts n washers but the slot is too narrow. So its very very tricky. Its 65mm centre to centre. So try get the bottom bolts in and then try mark the top ones when youve done this. Not easy as ive said. I should also add im not a novice or a diyer. Ive been a maintenance engineer for 40 years and ive screwed more stuff than Ron Jeremies. This is tricky to install. Get someone who knows what they are doing. The fixing brackets whilst neat are a bad design. All that aside its a tidy looking system and the blind gaves great privacy. Hope this review helps someone.
Loved the colour and quality. It’s quite high so it needs 2 to open/close but maybe this will get easier with use. Anchoring to composite decking was tricky but doable.
