This is by far the best projector for under 100 in my opinion, I had put alot of time into investigating which projector to buy under the 150 and I ended up buying one for under 100 delighted and is far better than an older so called full hd projector that I had for 5 years.
Overview:
– Great colour and light quality
– Survives in medium light areas but low light is advisable
– The speaker is much better than anticipated, but you can always use an aux and an extender for frontward facing stereo and surround
– One HDMI Port is great, but get a HDMI Switch if you need an extension (they are cheap)
– Remote is highly responsive and good at long distances
Detailed Summary:
Great quality, easy to use, 1080p60 quality looks great. Easy to use and set up AND got a free voucher for a tripod for it which was awesome.
There is only one HDMI port which is okay for cinema purpose but for me (for example i have my Nintendo Switch and Chromecast), i wanted to be able to switch. This is easily fixed with a HDMI Bidirectional Switch for 9.99 on Amazon though, so still 5 stars.
In built speaker is actually good considering. Clear sounds even when on a shelf and takes into account that the sound is behind you so switches stereo accordingly.
Look really good and will recommend this to everyone that is going to get one the only thing was the HDMI cable that came with it was a bit dodgy didn’t work with my laptop but had a spare that worked fine.
The Speaker was good for the size and was good enough for thr kids film but for better quality get an extra speaker.
The Projector is robust and well designed. Additionally it comes with all the required bits in a handy protective case.

It wasn’t was I was looking for in a projector exactly but it ended up being better than what I was looking for.
With my original order I was very pleased with the picture sharoness and brightness, this projector can be seen in a properly lit room!
It has options to adjust how the image is presented so you could have the projector upside down or right side up, even going as far as mirroring the image incase you want a large projection using mirrors!
However my original order had one dead pixel, I emailed the company what should I do; replace it, refund and reorder, no! They asked me to send a picture and describe the issue and gave me a replacement free of charge. This is my first time ordering from VAMVO and they have made me very very happy!
I haven’t used their remote control because personally I can just use the buttons on the projector itself.
I wonder what else they got!

Good projector for the price. Could do with more than 1 HDMI port. Picture on the whole is good, not excellent.
I was pleasantly suprised with the quality of thos projector. I have now watched many movies with a large screen projection and the image is very clear. It is easy to adjust aswell if you need to. Great product and a great price. Its ashame there is no Digital optical for my sound bar to attach to. There may be other ways and its my lack or technical ability to make this work
some quick review points
1. its small and portable – but sturdy – the case is great and well designed
2. setup is really simple, we use google chromcast with it – its real plug and play
3. Remote control works well – can control all settings except focus (thats manual)
4. Has speakers – they are ok, we link it up to external speaker if watching movies and would advise that. But if ou are travelling and need a solution for watching movies/tv .. it will work fine
5. focusing is really easy – very simple and takes 30 seconds to do.
6. Picture is way better than we expected – way better given the price. We have watched multiple movies now and really impressed with the picture quality even at larger size projection
7. Brightness – this is the only down side. If i had known a little more about projectors I would have paid more for increased brightness – the area really does need to be dark for the best quality picture and any natural light will impact the quality. We use this mainly in the evenings so not a big deal ….
Overall – very impressed, glad we purchased and brought movie night into our house (and timing was great!!) – if buying again, yes we would, just a brighter one.
I received the projector not long ago and it seems to be working perfectly. Everything was easy to use and set up, the picture quality was fab even with my really bad WiFi. The sound is actually pretty loud for a projector. You can barely hear the cooling fan too. The only issue I had with it was when I would watch something randomly the picture would go and come back again. This has only happened twice and I think it was because it was running for more than 3 hours. Other than that it was a good purchase. Would recommend
i like the design, image quality for the price, size of the projected image is great, the fan noise is a little annoying when its just sat at the menu screen but isn’t really a problem once media is playing on it overall a great little projector with a great image quality for the price its a no braine
First time buying a projector so I’m still finding my way around it but so far it’s been easy to set up and the image quality is great.
Pros:

Cons:
– Only one i can think of is the projector is slightly loud but after 5 mins or so you won’t notice it.
Unless you have a large budget I would suggest buying this projector and hooking up a fire stick to make it “smart”. Many of the projectors around the 200 mark claim to be smart however the Android operating systems they run on are generally clunky.
For the price i paid 105 I would most defiantly recommend this projector.

I can honestly say this is the best 100 I’ve ever spent on Amazon. Didn’t expect anything amazing but this blew me away if I’m honest.
Defo worth the money + I am not disappointed in any way. The only gripe I have, is setting it up. It’s got to be in the right place for it to be perfect, but my room isn’t set up for it.
I’ve been looking for a long time to get a projector. I didn’t need anything too “professional”, just a good image quality to make my private cinema in my bedroom, and a product not too big to fit on the shelf above the bed.
I’m so happy with this product, I connected my PS4 and can enjoy any kind of entertainment now. Probably the best purchase I’ve ever made on Amazon.
Works great for the price… no major complaints. Bought it for a week with friends to watch movies and play video games. Worked great near the fire and the sound was pretty loud for what we were expecting. Picture is nice. Really, for the price this thing is not a bad buy. Expecting we will be using this for the occasion impromptu games or movies night!
Wasn’t expecting much for 100 however it’s able to project a picture clearly across my entire living room wall! I’ve got it connected to a fire stick which has made a very cheap home cinema. The only downsides are it’s hard to focus around the edges when tilting. It also needs to be placed quite far back for a bigger screen which due to the distance needs low or no other light in the room for the best picture. The fan can also be quite noisy, however no worse than most other projectors. Asides from these issues I’ve still given it 5 stars. I still cannot believe how good it is for the money!

A very smart design, a lovey small size piece of kit, an unbelievable picture quality, J( I only use it on a no light environment), extremely good sound considering the speakers size and a very friendly equipment to use and setup.
However, all my five star surprise comes again from the price quality ratio, which Makes me all most ignore a quite noisy cooling fan and an Blue led who doesn’t switch off and that makes me unplug the equipment from mains every night before I go to sleep.
I never tried the equipment with any external light levels, I bought to have a bit of home cinema on my room, and I’ll give it more stars if I could on that basis.

Had this for around a month and it’s a decent little projector. The picture quality is good but tops out at around 100 inches before losing significant quality [pictures]. Useful imagine scaling option to scale down the image if the projected size is too large.
Audio quality is decent and will do if you don’t have any external speakers.
The remote is simple and feels good in the hand. There is some noticeable noise from the fan but that is to be expected.
The carrying case is a nice edition and is good quality. Overall build quality is decent for the price with the whole body being made of plastic.
Works well paired with a roku/fire stick, overall a good projector for the price.
Absolutely brilliant product. I did a lot of research and looked at a lot of projectors to make sure I was making the right decision and it didn’t disappoint at all. Picture is amazing, sound is great from the projector itself and there’s no problem connecting it to fire stick/xbox. Completely transformed my room and I love it.
Really easy to use and set up, bought a cheaper projector from s different maker a couple of weeks ago and had to return it as picture was blurry around the edge this one is really sharp on the edges
I got this just before Christmas and have given it a good trial before posting this.
It comes in a nice little carry bag, the item looks to be quite well put together – no nasty sharp corners and the connections seem solid when you push cables into them. There is room between each of the connection points so multiple cables can be left in situ.
It comes with most of the things needed to get it working immediately – except batteries for the remote control.
I don’t like the position of the screw at the front – i have mounted mine from the ceiling, and it just seems a little too far forward – especially once you have power sound and hdmi cables coming from the back. It seems to be an odd centre of gravity.
I can’t stand the sound from the internal speaker. It’s awful. However, I was never intending to use this speaker, so thankfully it was easy to connect to a decent sound system.
The picture quality is ok – perfectly fine with the lights off. It’s 720p, which is fine on a small tv, not quite so good when projected on to the wall in large size, but better than most of the other small (cheap) projectors on the market.
On the whole, for the price, it’s decent, and I like it 🙂

I’ve always wanted a projector despite not having the adequate space.
After reading reviews on various sites I decided to purchase this product for my bedroom.
The picture is bright and using settings you can tweak the colors and sharpness too your liking, I found it slightly over-sharpened out of the box + with the adjustable settings I could change it to display content at a 4:3 aspect ratio due to my room’s size. Sadly the built in menu does not scale to this aspect ratio.
Living next to a fairly busy road, the sound of the projector never got loud enough to hear over any movie I watched or any street noise. The sound quality was acceptable. But I would still recommend some wireless speakers for better surround sound quality.
Lastly, worth noting, the remote takes 2 AAA batteries, which are not included. So make sure you have some laying around. Using the buttons on the projector itself can be a little quirky as they are not positioned in the most intuitive way.
After quite a bit of research on projectors I opted for the Vamvo, and I’m glad I did! It is a very nice looking unit, well built and very easy to set up and operate. The picture quality is excellent and it comes with all the main leads needed to get you going plus the addition of a compact padded carry case. I managed to get it with a discount coupon too, so it was also brilliant value. Looking forward to watching more films! Recommended!!! A++
it is amazing!! I am very happy that I have decided to choose this one as my home cinema projector. Before I made the decision of ordering this product, I actually have done a lot of research and comparison for over one month, including the price and quality. I felt like it can be matched my requirement, so finally I gave it a go. Once it was delivered, I tried and tested it. It projects the image and video are very clear, the Brightness, Colour and contrast ratio are brilliant (under consideration of this nice price). And the sound is also ok, I don’t really need a extra Speaker. There is just one thing that I’m not happy which is I can’t straight connect my phone and projector through the USB port(I didn’t notice that at all), I have to use Chromecast (wifi) to connect it or I need to get a “HDMI to USB c type” to connect it.
Had this for several months now and can honestly say it is worth the price and more. The screen quality is great for what is is and you cannot hear the fans once there is sound playing. I have mine mounted on a grid over the bed shining onto a pastel green wall, although not white i cannot notice a diffence from the white walls once the lights are off. The brightness holds up even in daylight, which watchable visibility even in direct sunlight, I recommend!
I spent a long time decided which budget projector to buy, and after watching and reading lots of reviews I went with the Vamvo L4200, and I am not disappointed.
The projector is small and very portable. It comes with a really nice carry which also has room for all the accessories, so it’s easy to pack it up and bring it over to a friends house.
The quality of the image is very impressive for this price, its bright and clear. In addition the noise of the projector is not too loud while it’s running, which really helps with the experience of watching a movie.
Over all if you’re looking for a projector that isn’t gonna cost too much but is going to deliver in terms of quality I’d really recommend it.

I was looking for a budget projector to worth its price. After comparing a few with similar prices I opted for this one from Vamvo as it seemed a balanced option between provided characteristics and cost and finally bought it when it was on offer. With the high brightness and native 720p resolution it’s a very attractive option for home use. I’ve connected it with chromecast and works great. I have also used it as a second monitor for a laptop. It can easily read video files directly from an external hard drive and the speakers are surprisingly loud and clear for a projector. The projector is small and lightweight with a convenient carrying bag. An affordable all-round solution.
Arrived on time, really easy to use and set up. So small it fits in my laptop bag, which is amazing. Pretty surprised at how satisfied I am with this product. I ordered them for my team to deliver workshops and sessions and they have been able to use it with no fuss at all. I have been using it for delivering presentations as well! Instructions are very vague, but once i played around in the menu I managed to find all the adjustments available. The image can be inverted and flipped, manual keystone adjustment ( minor adjustment only ) and manual focus.
Yes they do offer a free gift if you give a review, but that does not change my view on the projector. its just an added bonus.
I ordered this for taking away in the Caravan, ordered to budget with manual keystone correction and focus. the resolution is good and the image is bright enough to see in a light room. the pictures i took look more faded than it actually was and way better than the old one we have.

I have been using a projector for the past two years as my main source for watching movies and playing videogames, connecting it to my PlayStation. The first projector I had was from a different company and after about a year the bulb began to discolor leaving half of the screen with a pink hue. I attempted to find a new bulb but ultimately ended up buying this projector to replace the old one. I regret not purchasing this sooner (or first)! The quality was noticeable in picture quality, brightness and sound. I appreciate the sleek design and case too. I’ve had to move since purchasing and the case protected the projector and made the move easy. Should I need a new projector, I will be returning to Vamvo.
I have a very expansive projector in my living room, always wanted another one in my bedroom but doesn’t want to spend too much money on it. I saw this projector on sale at that time and decide to give it a try after reading those reviews. It amazed me! very clear! and the sound is more than enough to watch a movie in bed. the only problem with this projector is it can not project with an angle. but for this price, I would definitely recommend it to my friends!

I purchased this item for my teenagers. As a Christmas present I like the idea of a mini projector as not bulky and easy storage. The delivery was fast the item is fantastic. It plays on my white wall which is amazing as no need for a screen – it is like being I. Your own cinema. Picture quality is great even when enlarged to a big screen and easy to adjust the focus. I am not technical at all but easy to show films direct from laptop.

Really impressed so far with the projector. My previous projector was loud and quite blurry but picture quality and sound much better. My friend has spent more than triple this for his projector and although it is superior whether it justifies the difference is debatable. For an entry level projector for streaming and gaming, I don’t think you can go too far wrong with this. Great value. Oh and my lad loves playing his new switch on it.
although the native resolution is 720p you cant find a better picture quality for this price, the quality starts to deteriorate passed a screen size of around 70″-75″ however you’d have to be spending upwards of 400 for larger screens. brightness was impressive, clear picture even with a small lamp on in the corner of the room super easy to set up and use, the sound quality is pretty impressive too.
First purchase of this sort of item, having thought projectors were horribly expensive. However this works a treat. Great for whole family. Watching photos from holidays etc, or for younger members to show games or programmes on the wall. Sound not too bad at all although might improve with speakers. Remote usage easy to understand and all sets up readily and quickly. Perhaps a stand that could be adjusted might be an added bonus.
This is was an amazing buy for my teenage daughters Christmas present. She is in her first year at uni and this will be perfect for her and and friends to have movie nights together. The sound quality is amazing and it has a very quiet fan. You can vary the image size too, so we can make it fit perfectly to our wall. Very great value for price too! The picture quality is the best I have seen for a projector. A prefect present for a loved one, I personally you definitely recommend to purchase one due to the prefect picture just as good as a TV. Very easy to use and set up took less then a minute. The price is reasonable I think because you don’t feel like you wasted and can’t wait to use it outside while sat in the hot tub!!!!
The product is amazing! Very compact and easy to instal and use. It projects pretty clear picture and loud enough sound. Great to take it when traveling and perfect to use at weddings and parties. We use it in our bedroom to watch from Amazon TV which is very handy. The only negative thing I can think of was that the remote didn’t come with batteries, but rather than that I think it is a great value for money.
Very happy with the projector. Nice and bright with a lighted room. I have also used it out back with a huge picture. For the price and quality you can’t beat it. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. It works with my computer, firestick, phone and memory stick. I also bought a mini USB Bluetooth for the projector and a Bluetooth amp speaker system, the built in speak is fine, however i do demad a higher quality of sound perfermance. Having talk about the speaker then i need to mention the fan in the projector is brilliant, you can hardly notice it. This is my second projector and the Vamvo mini projector far exceeds the brand that was 3 times more expensive! Picture on a white/cream wall is brillant and the sound quality is pretty good for the price. I have used this several times keeping little one entertained when away, best of all is having movies stored on a usb stick and it working first time when plugged into the Vamvo projector (never worked with my expensive one) so no need for laptop/cables etc, very mobile. I’ve been using it for a few weeks now so hopefully it will stay going strong but I’d highly recommend it, Happy Days 🙂
So far the projector has been working excellent. It has a really nice design, not too big but not too small. We are so happy to purchased this product. We were looking for a good projector and after comparing prices and quality we found out this was the best option. I am currently using chromecast with the projector to run YouTube and Netflix and Amazon prime and it runs them all fabulously. For the money, this is just an absolute bargain.

After searching google, I found contact details for manufacturer. They could not be more helpful. Replacement remote was sent and received within 2 days of initial contact.
Overall, very pleased with product. Would be worth noting, if you plan to watch movies or tv with this projector, you will have a much better experience by using external speakers via the aux.
he projector is come in a good size not as large as most of the projector. it came with cute projector bag which is can fit everything in the bag, so it can be easy pack in and out without losing any cable or remote control, plus with a carry bag like that it would be easy to take to travel if we need.
the brightness of the projector is excellent, we played the movie with the light on and its still in a fantastic condition, the picture quality is also an brilliant, we played lots of music and movie during the month and i can definitely tell the video quality is good enough for the price. another great point i like the projector is they have control buttons over the projector so i dont have to bring the remote control when i using it. the only does not bring it to the perfect level is the speaker wasnt as good as the large size projector, but other than that its a lovely projector for home, i guess there maybe high cost for the great quality of the micro speaker to be fit in, personal i wouldnt mind to pay extra to have the one with great sound quality. overall, it is worth for the price ive paid for.
Picture is quite sharp and bright, sound is clear and loud enough. The remote is quite simple to operate. Comes with a really good carry bag which I am currently finding very helpful. Its really nice to have the A/V and HDMI cable come along with the product. One of the best value for money buys that I have ordered from Amazon!
Sound quality is awesome for the size of it. The only thing I have been not happy is the remote control which was damaged in the backside. I have contacted the manufacturer regarding replacement and I hope I get the replacement. It might have been damaged during shipment.

It has built in speakers but you don’t really buy a mini projector for the sound quality, i’d recommend outputting the sound to an external speaker if you want some quality bass, there is an audio out that makes this simple. Overall at the price paid I think it was a great purchase and I love being able to show off our precious moments on a 100″ scree
The picture quality is excellent. Nicely fills my blank wall space in bedroom when on. I am able to experience a cinema like experience when watching films using my Vamvo projector from the comfort of my home. The sound quality is clear. This projector is easy to set up and use. I am very happy with my purchase. Good value for money.
The next thing I checked for was the heat level. It has a great fan and ventilation so it never got hot after play a movie or a few hours of dramas. The best of point i found on this projector is the noise come out from the projector is amazing, you could hardly hear the noise, its even better than the higher range projector.
The only part doesn’t really satisfied with me is the speaker, it properly works fine in a small bedroom but not in the living room, but i never expected a projector could have the same quality to the Bose speaker does and the price can tell you whether how much the speaker quality will worth, so its acceptable for what it sold for.
This is a surprisingly good product for the money. It is best for video but I used it with Keynote and it was also good. It needs a fairly dark room. I fixed it to a tripod which was great because it is so light in weight.
Obviously not quite as good as expensive hi-spec models in terms of keystone etc, nevertheless an all-round winner. The remote is a bit flimsy but works fine. The speaker is quite good for such a small unit but for an action film you would would want to plug it into a larger speaker.
Over all, good value for money.
Over all this is a to the point projector. I’ve had it for a couple of days and so far so good. From super fast delivery to even super easy set up-without need of the manual. I’ve found the best point and focus area… lovely; an easy 100″ aimed on an 120″ projector screen. With the myriad of prices for projectors, Vamvo is a cute deal at this price. Love it! With the aid of the HDMI input, you can watch/play anything really; set top box, Ps4, Netflix, Blu-ray et al. After the other TV had a major cracked screen accident, I turned my attentions on projectors and found this neat and handsome looking piece. Sound is good too, though I may be adding some surround sound with bass (for the movies).

Fantastic projector for the price. Picture quality is excellent. Its 720p, so the picture is really sharp. Really good brightness on it too. The built-in speakers are good. Can connect my HDD harddrive in the back of it and play all my movies. Also firestick works great on it too. The projector itself is small and very solid and comes in a lovely portable carrying case. Got this when Amazon were doing a 30 off voucher. Absolute bargain. I was so pleased with it i bought a few more.
This is the 3rd native 720p projector and it is the best one that I have had so far.
I was being tempted with going for one of the 1080p cheap projectors out at the moment but decided to stick with 720p.
I was pleasantly surprised with the picture. It was sharp and I did not have the same focus issues I had with previous projectors on the outer parts of the screen.
The fan is also quiet, and I also like the small form factor. The supplied case is excellent if you wish to travel with it. The only negative I have is it could be slightly brighter, but it is watchable in a dimly lit room.
I must also commend Vamvo customer service. I had a dust blob appear behind the lens, but they sent a replacement straight away.
I would definitely recommend the projector and the supplier.
After buying a few different projectors (some of them even for double the price I paid on this one), finally found this one meeting my needs! I am using the projector for watching movies, Netflix and really think it does the job very well. The image quality is great, the angle adjustment is a very useful tool, the projection size is also very good and it is probably one of the least noisy ones I’ve tried out. Highly recommended product!
Words cannot express how delighted we are with this purchase. We redecorated our living room and wanted to avoid having a TV. Being able to pull out the projector and hook it up to the sky box has meant our living room is at times a cinema room. The sound quality is good the visual is good (obviously not HD but it doesn’t claim to be) although naturally not as great in the daytime but still usable with blinds up. We will be investing in surround sound.
This is brilliant – I got it specifically to be able to occasionally watch Netflix etc. in the bed room .
It’s not worth connecting it to your phone or iPad – only iPlayer worked that way for me and the voice was delayed.
Instead plug an Amazon Firestick directly into the projector and you can watch Netflix, Prime, BT TV etc. and the sound and visual are perfect. What’s more with a new Firestick (only about 40) it’s voice activated.
Really simple to get set up and running. I would definitely recommend this product combined with an Amazon Firestick – it is brilliant.
This projector is a beast, it has great picture quality, even if I don’t have projector screen, still is good quality. I was going to buy sound bar but with vamvo projector you don’t need one. It is loud enough and good quality. It is really easy to set up and comes with everything you need(hdmi cable, remote control). It is not massive and not noisy either comparing the other brands. It comes with a bag and it looks so stylish. I bought 2 days ago and can’t stop watching netflix and all the documentaries I love on this projector. It is really satisfying and great product. It seems like company cares about their customers and it is a big big plus
Excellent value for money- picture and sound quality impressive and very easy to set up. If you are looking for cinema sound would recommend linking into sound bar or surround sound system as the sound from projector has limitations.

At the beginning I was mainly attracted by the modern design and the positive reviews but as soon as I had the chance to touch it, I could confirm all eligible words read. It’s come with a small bag which makes comfortable any transportation. Highly suggested to whoever wants to have a small cinema at home without spending a big amount.
I bought this projector following an Amazon offer. The parcel arrived on time, only 1 day after I bought it on Amazon Prime. First impression was really good, the quality is good enough for the price you pay for it. The pros are good quality, really useful to cast your screen both in Windows and Android. Also works really well for Amazon Prime Video. The only con is that it is a little bid loud.
It does the job. Of course, you’ll have to watch it in a very dark room, otherwise, the picture will be ruined. Headphones are also recommended, as the fan is very loud. Watching it with a group is impossible due to that noise, but if you have a good pair of headphones that isolate enough of the outside noise, you’ll have a good time. It’s not the best projector, but if you’re on a budget and like to be mobile, it’s most likely one of the best of it’s kind.

I’ve got it running off an Amazon fire stick in the bedroom and the sound fills the room with no trouble. With hdmi, usb, and vga connectivity you should have no trouble running your devices from this.

I’ve always wanted to get a projector and the vamvo had great reviews on amazon – rightfully so! Easy to operate, comes with a remote, hdmi cable, power cord. Perfect for streaming, presentations, so portable as well! I love that it came with a nice bag to pack everything in, so I could take it anywhere with me. Even during the day when it’s light out, the picture quality and clarity is still pretty great. I would definitely recommend to anybody looking to buy a projector. Perfect for indoor and outdoor use. It can also be attached to a tripod, which makes it even better! Definitely best purchase this year.
It gives me all I need for my seminars and teaching activities. With really sharp images I enjoy videos, films, games and display of photos or pictures. Of course with good settings and appropriate distance and position of the screen you can get the best effects.
Easy to transport anywhere for its light weight and its carry case. The built in speaker is quite clear and enough to watch movies at home and support several media inputs for different devices e.g. my laptop, mobile phone, computer, etc.
I am very happy with this projector an I think I don’t need a sophisticated and expensive one because It has everything for my requirements.
The only one no good thing is the position of the tripod hole but the rest is perfec

I was using a cheap native 480p projector, ceiling mounted with a mini-projector hanger: I placed the Vamvo in place and bingo, the difference was immense. I am using it with a Wii via AV input and with an Android TV via HDMI, they both look very good. I could get 100 inch from a distance of approx 3 meters. Audio is pretty good, the built-in speaker has good volume level as well. The cooling vents are noticeable but nothing that prevents an enjoyable fruition of a movie.
All of the above have to be taken having in mind the cost of the device, as it would be not fair to compare a 1000+ bucks projector with this one.
I’ve always wanted a projector and with my birthday coming up it seemed like a good time. There’s so much research to do with projectors and it seemed to me that native resolution was to be the deciding factor.
While the description states 1080P, the native resolution is 720p, which is more than adequate for my families viewing needs.
This one turned out to be the cheapest 720p projector on amazon (I bought at 82 on a lightning deal) and having found it, I went to the YouTube reviews, most of which finished with the overall feeling of pleasantly surprised.
I can certainly add my pleasant surprise to that list, it’s sharp even over 100″.
I needed to use a combination of focus and keystone to get it right leaving us with a slight trapezoid screen, which our eyes quickly learnt to ignore, but that’s almost certainly due to the placement of the projector slightly below the viewing area.
The internal speaker is a touch tinnie, so an external speaker connected via the headphone socket is recommended, but it will pass in a pinch.
The fan runs reasonably quietly and is easy to ignore when you’re engrossed in a film.
It seems obvious to say, but, the darker a screening room you can get, the better.
We use it in the kitchen extension so have to wait for nightfall due to the unshaded skylights but heavy curtains would do the trick in the daytime.
Overall, I’m pleased as punch with this as a home movie (and strictly on a Saturday) projector.
I would, and have, recommended this product.
Great Picture, currently being used for home cinema. Set up was easy and worked perfectly on my wall in the front room. Bright picture only draw back was needed to turn the light off to see it well, not sure how good it will be in daylight but not a problem for me as will be used in a darkened room. Cant wait to hook up the playstation at the weekend and see how it looks! Only draw back for me was no batteries for the remote included and I didn’t have any in the house! Easy to use with the remote but a but fiddly using the buttons on the projector itself. Overall Im really pleased with it and the soft case means that if i ever do want to take it about its easy to transport!
We received our Vamvo mimi projector today. The shipping was really fast. We purchased from Amazon 4 or 5 days ago. We were really excited and set it up in our living room when we got home. The sound quality was good and the image was clear when we turned out the lights. We live in the city so our living room is never completely dark. So far we are very happy with our purchase and can’t wait to use it for outdoor movies!
Update: Vamvo customer service is fantastic. I believe they would go above and beyond to help if we have any issues in the future. They’re a company I would recommend to anyone.
I compared a few projectors. It’s a great projector for the price. Picture quality is better than other projectors of its class. Noise is quite low. Carrying bag is a great add on. They also give you a free gift if you write a review but nonetheless it is a great product. I mean it’s 99 pounds. The only thing that could be better is the speaker, which is fine but not great. Not a deal breaker though for me because I have a bluetooth device connected to my laptop anyways.
Considering the cost, this projector has seriously upped our movie watching game. The image is far brighter and more detailed than I would have expected – especially when compared to the projectors they used to have in college (which cost far, far more). Projecting on a 120″ screen still gives a bright, high definition image that could almost be seen as too big for home movie viewing. The included case also gives the product the quality feel of a far more expensive projector. All cables are included too – including an AV adaptor so there are no issues with connections.
This was an amazing choice for our new home! Even tho it is a bit bright to watch on daylight (which can be fixed with blackout curtains) at night we turn our living room in our own cinema.
The audio system is fantastic as well. We were thinking of buying some home-theatre sound system, but it won’t be necessary as you can hear clear (and loud if you wish to)

I honestly did not expect much for a cheaper projector but I am amazed at the picture quality and the build of this machine. It’s so good I have recommended to everyone I kno. There is a spot of dust or a scratch on my one inside the lens and I am taking that up with after sales care but so far so good. No complaints! Great product!
I was hesitant, as we don’t really need a projector, we have a large enough TV and smaller TVs in each room. However, I wanted something that we can use in the evening as a family to watch films in the garden that was small enough that I could take on UK holidays to entertain the kids with.
So when I saw this had been reduced to 80.99, I took the plunge… and I’m glad i did. I don’t know how this can even be sold that cheap, even the full price of 129 seems incredible value.

This item is brilliant value for money. The projector comes with a really handy bag for safe storage and easy transport. It is really easy to set up and operate and has a good picture quality, even when used in a room with natural daylight. I brought this product to display a PowerPoint presentation at a church confirmation course and I am so impressed with it, I might buy one for myself!
It’s not high end spec, but you wouldn’t expect that for the price. However, it is a very good projector for personal use.
Arrived today on time quickly and it was packaged very well. Upon opening it the size was obout what I was expecting from the description it was very easy to set up although the instructions were lacking for the settings menu so you can coustomise it for your needs . It comes with two connection leads to get you sarted wich is nice. One of the only down sides is it is quite loud not the nosiest projector but also not the quietest so some times you can’t quite hear softly spoken speech unless the volume is really loud hence the deduction of a star . Overall very satisfied.
A great product and great value for money. Impressive image quality and sound. I also liked the remote control and appreciated the fact it came with an HDMI cable. Only negative aspect is that the projector is a bit loud when working, but since the sound quality is great it makes this a very minor issue. Also, a pair of batteries for the remote would have been great.
All in all, the Vamvo L4200 is a great product in its price range. We got it with some promotion for just GBP99. Great picture quality if you can line the thing up prfectly with your wall. Enjoyable in ambient lighting too, however during the day you might face some issues if you are unable to shade your windows. (please see pictures)
Would definitely recommend as an affordable big screen solution.
Positives:
– Perfect image quality due to native 720p, you don’t need to change you display settings on your PC if you have it FHD, automatically adjusts.
– Bright enough to enjoy movies under ambient, or even maybe slightly brighter than ambient lighting. (see pictures).
– Speakers are fairly decent, comparable to any cheaper bluetooth speaker. Perfect if you don’t already have some sound setup in your home.
– Cooling fans are relatively quiet, when a movie is running you only notice it during the very quiet scenes.
– Very lightweight, easy to carry around.
– Lot of picture quality options, you are able to finetune the projector a bit to give even more brightness.
Negatives:
– Main issue is limited keystone options. The product does offer 15 Vertical Only keystoning. This means if you have your projector tilted upwards slightly you will be able to adjust the distorted screen. However, you will not be able to get your picture in complete focus around the sides any more. Therefore unless you have the projector perfectly lined up using a tripod or something, you will experience slightly lower quality picture, however for a movie, this is not as disturbing. In addition there is No Horizontal Keystone option. 🙁 maybe in the updated versio
Finding a projector has in some ways become easier, many affordable models for all price ranges now but weeding out the bad ones has become more of a challenge for first time buyers.
Image quality:
This is one of the good ones, native 720p so good resolution will play 1080p content and looks good.
Playing games on it is great, hooked up switch with no problems and games look great.
Sound:
Was sounding a little flat straight out of the box so went I to sound settings and saw an option for surround sound…with true SRS…sounds was great with this setting so make sure you change that.
Size:
Small and lightweight make this easily portable.
If this is your price range you will be impressed with what you get…far better than some others in the same range.
First of all the projector itself look`s fairly made ( doesn`t look cheap ), it`s really quiet, the remote control work`s without having to point it to the projector, booting within seconds and I just plugged it in into my laptop and I have the laptop screen in big size the next second. I can watch movies and feel like I`m in the cinema. The built in speaker good enough, but obviously with a soundbar the experience becomes better. The picture quality is better than with other projectors at the same price, so I dont`t regret my choice, I`m happy with my buy. You can see the picture quality on my video, my phone auto changing the focus, sorry about that, but you can get the feeling…
Amazing little gadget. Had one for office use before but it was big and bulky. Could not take it with me for the meetings, that was until I got this last week. Joy bringing it around where I have my meetings. Sound is more than enough, picture is great. Will definitely recommend. I will start using it for home use also, as I can see it lives up to the picture quality. The only bad thing is that sometimes you can’t adjust the hight enough, but this is easily corrected with the Adjustable Tripod. Easy to connect, easy to use. I’m glad I picked this one instead of all other brands.
We bought this projector to watch films and sports events in our apartment. I tested several projectors in this price categorie and the vamovo mini projector is by far the best. The picture quality in a dark room is brilliant. Also dark thriller or horror films are good to watch on this projector. Only the brightness is a disatvantage. It is difficult to see something on the wall in a bright room.
We dont have a projector screen, but a white wall is enough to watch films with a good quality if it is dark enough.

I love this projector, a clear picture for movies and gaming, I got this for my husband for his birthday and he loves it and has spent a lot of time playing games on it, an easy set up for a home cinema if you fancy it!!! I recommend getting this projector to anyone looking for their first projector, the keystone part is awesome too, so we can watch at any angle :). Good job vamvo!!! Also it doesn’t make a massive amount of noise, just thought I would mention that.
I bought this projector to use for an outdoor cinema. It looks reasonably well made with a good range of inputs that should meet most needs. It comes with a handy case which should protect it when not in use. It has keystone correction but only in one direction – so check that you can get the projector perpendicular to the screen
This is a 100 (ish) projector so it’s not really fair to compare it with 500+ projectors. The picture is of a reasonable quality unless you really enlarge it. You have to use it in a reasonably dark room so it’s only really good at night outdoors. The speakers are ok and adequate for most uses. For a cinema experience, you might need additional speakers nut note that this projector does not support Dolby
All in all, a good value projector if you don’t want to spend 500 ….
After tweaking the settings and position of the projector it was a mere 5 minutes before itwas ready to go! The quality is shockingly good, seriously, even on old movies with poorer resolution it did a wonderful job of making them appear sharp and bright.
The sound within the projector is more than ample but of course you have the option to add your own if you need more volume (or bass!).
As you can see I mounted mine to my DSLR tripod. This is what the screw beneath the projector is actually for. Various YouTube videos have suggested it’s for angling it higher to change your viewing position…it clearly is not! There is a mount and then the screw which when combined upon a tripod with the appropriate base makes for a completely stable and secure connection.

This is my first ever projector, and I loved it!
First of all, the delivery was super quickI received it the next morning after ordering. It comes with remote, HDMI cable, power and audio cable. Second, this product’s price is nice and affordable and yet with great performance, which is the most important for home-use projector to create cinema experience, thanks to its ability of accepting 1080p full HD input. The main use for this projector is to watch movies and play games. My expirences so far (4 movies in nearly a week) is satisfactory that it warms-up quickly and easily connected to all the devices. What’s more, with its super light-weighted and compact size, and a simple but smart travel case, we can carry it everywhere, even to my parents house without any issue.
Another thing worth mentioning is of course the picture quality. The picture quality is fantastic. With its 4000 lumens, the picture is still clear even under a light.
Finally, I can hardly hear any noise from it while using it, which is absolutely a PLUS for a movie lover.
I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for an great picture quality projector with reasonable budget.
Secondly, the quality and resolution of video is amazing. I haven’t even used it on projector screen just on a basic wall and it’s lovely. I’ve added pictures to really understand what I mean by amazing. The movie watched was in 720p, I imagine 1080p would be even better.
The projector is really quiet too as I heard other projectors are really loud when cooling down.
Unbelievable value. I was really dubious about getting a projector, I had heard bad things about fan noise and lack of picture quality. But this projector is genuinely amazing. The fan is quiet and the picture fills my pretty big wall with a really clear picture, works great with games consoles, amazing for watching the footy. Just like being at the cinema.

I purchased this for one reason ! I wanted to watch blockbuster movies at home that i either didn;t get a chance to watch at the cinema or wanted to relive the awesome experience of seeing them on a massive screen .
Straight to business for starters :
Video – Unbelievable ! It is so bright even with a lit room and the picture is crystal clear . Play abit with the picture settings to find what works for you and at a massive 100″+ scren on my wall with no backscreen and it still is perfect , no pixeling , no imega smudging .. nothing ! I’ve watched dark movies like Alien , Interstellar , Bladerunner and it is flawless
Audio – This thing packs a massive loud speaker which is more than enough !
Noise – I think it has to be the most silent of all projectors i checked out . Sitting less than a meter away from the projector and you dont even here it .
General – Remote control works no matter where you point . Nice compact size and comes with its own carrying case .
Having owned a cheap small protable projector in the past i wanted to enoy movies in good quality but it didn;t want to end up spending 200$+ . So i spent WEEKS going back and forth online with reviews and video reviews etc etc and in the end I just got completely lost , until I came across this . The ideal price for 720p , high lumens and low fan noise.
What i got blew me away . This thing is AMAZING . I’m used to hooking up my old projector to a good sound system to cover the sound of the fan but this here is so subtle and has such a loud and clear speaker I now no longer use a seperate sound system .
If you like me have been tiring over the best option , i kid you not , this here is beyond any doubt is the ideal 720 projector !
Wow what can I say other then this projector exceeded my expectations. Got 120″ projected at absolute clarity. Am using this in the day time with curtains closed and can see it absolutely fine. Images are clear and vivid and high definition as long as stated. Very easy to set up. Had it going within 10minutes. Plugged in my chrome cast, switch, and ps4 and everything worked amazingly. I absolutely love it, and my kids absolutely! Will definitely recommend to a friend and will be trying this outside at some point to get a full 200″ for a garden night time viewing of a movie with speakers attached.

First of all, it is not mini, it is a big projector.
The quality of the projector impressed me, i really did not think it would be that good for the price i paid for it.
The quality of the sound is actually very good too and you can even put a headphone or another speaker to have a better sound experience.
The projector looks very good too, i really liked it eventhough it wasn’t mini, but also they already specify the size of it when you buy it.
The picture has a very good quality and it comes with mini remote control, hdmi cable, avg cable and a very nice box to carry wherever you go, i like when i buy things and the seller cares to deliver extra things that would make the customer happy.
Overall i am really happy with my purchase and i would really recommend it, i had a good experience.
It plays videos from my USB hard drive, the menu is quick and responsive. The lens and focusing ring is a lot better quality than others in the market, setting focus can be done easily and accurately. Although this has a native resolution of 720p it managed to upscale my 1080p footage to the big screen with pixel only visible when up close to the screen at around 12 inches.
It comes with a handy carry case for easy transport, can’t wait to hook up the game console when I am around friends house to play big screen football game.
It doesn’t really matter if you have a light on because with 4,000 lumens you’re still getting a fantastic picture!
Im a big fan of this projector, I Love it to bits , for the price I was a little reluctant to purchase however it Is more than high quality enough for , like I said, gameplay and movie viewing.
