This product is excellent . It has great suction and even if you don’t have a pet it works very well . I couldn’t believe how much dust was vacuumed on my first use . Quite powerful . I would recommend this product .
So far so good, suction is excellent. The only drawback is that it doesn’t have any clip on the accessories otherwise its pretty descent.

The hoover is excellent , suction very powerful. The hoover is a little heavy but otherwise, the best hoover. Make sure you clean the dirt from it.
Air pet suction is great for long dog hair!! Have arthritis in arms and back and this is lightweight so I can put it in and out of cupboard. Lovely long house, as well as cable …enough to do my whole bungalow ….fantastic!!

Nice and light weight, ideal for doing stairs. The last Vax lasted 5 years, it was a upright, very strong but heavier.
The suction is fine, but don’t expect this vacuum cleaner to pick up the needles from your Christmas tree without becoming repeatedly blocked. Not just needles – within a month I’d had to take the bottom apart to clear a blockage. Very disappointing.
Only good things to say about this. Suction power is amazing, being hypoallergenic is a bonus too, and it’s a pretty good price for such a good vacuum
This is a very good vacuum cleaner great suction and does the job great.
Had a bit of trouble with wooden floors, i.e. it just sticks to it from the sheer sucking power. But by god, it can suck carpets clean!!

It’s suction is adequate but the main tool is very hard to manoeuvre – so I put my old head back on it & I had a spare extension tube as although the extension tubes that come with it -was not long enough & I do use an extension lead as only 6m of cable doesn’t go far enough in my house
A liitle heavier than I had hoped for and not as neat. Seems to work well with good suction. I would like a narrower nozzle tool for valeting the car.

Suction is brill, but it’s not easy to manoeuvre and quite cumbersome.

This vacuum cleaner is a surprise. It does its job on wooden floors and two different kind of carpets, and the suction power is more than I expected. I’m small so for me is not so lightweight for its size, and I’d wish it had a longer cord, but I’m not disappointed at all of my purchase. Has good accessorizes, a telescopic extension tube and a parking slot so it’s defo pocket size and easy to store. I recommend it!
This is excellent value. Good suction whether on floors or carpet, easy to move around and easy to clean/empty. Very pleased with my purchase. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was that it does have a habit if you are not careful to tip over.
Great suction power to the point it doesn’t move on carpet. This however can be lost when picking up alot of dirty and hair.
It is easy to empty the container, however I found cleaning it a little more fidderly. If the hopper becomes too dirty or dust, you have to get into the middle part, which is not that accessible by cloth.
The assessories that come with it, work well. The stair attachment would be easier to use if it wasn’t ragid. But picks up most of the hair first time. It’s just requires you to be close to the floor. Does work well with the extention poles.
Overall though. Once the parts are clean again. Suction is also gained to almost new. I’ve only had a week now, so will need to see how it is in a few months. Also arrived very quickly.

This is a decent, lightweight vacuum. It’s easy to hold and move around the house.
However, what sets it apart from the crowd is its suction power. We have a house with hardwood floors throughout (barring the tiles in the kitchen), and this device just glides over these surfaces, picking up and getting rid of fibres, hair, and debris.
This is particularly important for us, as pet hair would otherwise be a big part of our everyday lives: We have two Maine Coones, and their fluff gets everywhere.
However, one caveat to add to this review is that your mileage may vary if you live in a carpet-heavy house. A lot of the comments under this item seem to be from people with carpeted floors, who have found that the incredible suction of this vacuum, coupled with the low clearance of its head, means that it makes cleaning carpet very hard work. As someone without carpeted floors, I simply don’t have an environment where I could experience this, and therefore this device fits my needs well.
This is one of the best Vacuum cleaners I have every used. I love the way modern Vac’s are designed with the snap in parts and the complete disregard for bag technology, it makes me believe the old bag vacs were designed that way on purpose to allow retailers to make more money selling vac bags. I digress.
This Vac is easy to put together and has a few useful attachments. I was amazed at the sheer power of the Vac, for only 900 watts the nosel sucked my rug so hard it pulled it from the floor, however the air hole settings on the hose allows me to set a manageable suction rate.
The turbo attachment actually works amazing. I have had mixed success with these in recent years, but on this vac it pulls off all of the animal hairs without issue and is the perfect attachment for soft furnishings. The only down side is due to the suction rate the waste bin fills very quickly and the 1.5 litre bin isn’t the biggest, but it does keep the vac nice and compact for storing.

A nice vacuum cleaner. Has really good suction power and so much better than my old vax at collecting all size items from my floor, especially pet hair. All parts feel good quality and connect together securely to ensure no power is lost. Only issues are that it’s quite heavy and not too easily maveauverable.
In terms of suction power, this machine is awesome. It is really powerful and is able to suck in particles that are lodged into the carpet fibres such that even when the carpet looks clean, you will see the dirt swirling up in the Vacuum Cleaner. It is incredibly easy to empty it, just 2 button presses to geet the dirt intop thee bin. It easily comes apart for cleaning. It is light for taking up the stair case.
We got one of these vacuum cleaners as we have recently adopted an old cat and wanted a machine designed to deal with pet hair. We found the Vax CCQSAV1P1 to be a well-made, nicely designed and practical model that out-performs our old cleaner by quite a margin. It may not be quite as revolutionary as some fancier models but it is lightweight, easy to use and to move around or store. However, we found the suction to be so strong on some surfaces that it can prove a bit tricky to move it easily sometimes — better on hard floors and soft furnishings than on carpet; however you can certainly see the results in the dust container! The Turbo Tool does a good job on pet hair and the three-in-one tool works well on a wide range of surfaces. Our first Vax cleaner was one of the original Orange Tub models, from the early eighties, which did good service for many years. This new model is a world away from that — but will hopefully prove as reliable; a good guarantee is offered which is promising. We are very pleased with the results so far and would recommend this model to pet owners with hard floors looking for a simple yet well designed vacuum cleaner.
First, about price. The RRP is listed at 180, but at the time of writing the price is discounted to 100, which to me represents about the right price.
VAX is an excellent brand, and this is a similarly good vacuum cleaner. I think the EU ruling on power really has scuppered the power that we used to be used to, but this has meant that design has had to be more efficient.
I am surprised by the lack of a revolving brush-head for carpets. I have one from another machine, and it works fine, so that’s okay. There are plenty available on Amazon for about 10.
The thing is small enough to be ideal for a small flat, where space might be at a premium. The whole thing came in a smaller box than I would have anticipated.
Overall, great suction and nice and light. Just get a revolving brush-head, too.
The Vax is smaller and lighter than my existing big name brand vacuum cleaner. It came well packaged. The Vax is easy to manoeuvre and fits nicely on the stairs.
The Vax has a lot of suction – a lot. Though that’s generally good, it makes it difficult at times to use on both carpets and laminate flooring. It is almost impossible to push with either setting on the vacuum head, but does work well when pulling the Vax towards you and it does work better with the air hole slightly open. If used on rugs it tends to lift the rug rather than vacuum it, even with the air hole open. The problem may be with the design of the head which looks quite cheap. It has a brush at the front and a sort of rubber blade at the back. Whether it is the suction or the head that is the problem I am not sure but it is difficult to use on some floors.
The turbo tool works very well on furniture, cleaning it with little effort (I do not have pets) and also works well on the stairs. The 3-in-1 crevice tool, upholstery nozzle and dusting brush is good and being a single unit helps stops tools being misplaced, although there is nowhere to store this on the vacuum cleaner. The main telescopic extension tube is made of metal, which gives it good strength and is very easy to adjust. The mains lead is also a good length so does not need to be unplugged and re-plugged in so often.
All in all this is a really a pretty good product, although it has its annoyances.
This product really cut through moulted cat hair. The hair was also on cushions that looked normal again after a single proper pass of the tool. The same was true of stair treads with mid-thickness, mid-length carpet. The only issue is that the dirt reservoir gets full pretty quickly. However, anything larger would be heavier, and therefore less agile on the stairs. An excellent compromise.
I’m going to disagree with a few of the reviews here and tell you that I think this is a five star vacuum!

THE CONS
Lead might have been longer – but hey, this is a compact unit after all.
I’m not a fan of power brushes on floors, and I’ve always found that a decent level of vacuum does the job of lifting dust without the need to bash my rugs and wear them out for me. We’re given a narrow power brush with this kit and it’s designed for targeted areas where pets lie, such as your sofa arm, a pet pillow, or that spot in front of the fire. For that it works well. The general floor nozzle is wide, wheeled and effective on both carpet and solid floors.
I like the telescopic metal wand provided, and suction can be controlled by the usual slot at the handle. Contrary to another reviewers worry that it defeats the purpose of the vacuum – no. Opening it allows a little air to be sucked in at the slot, reducing the sucking power at the wand. This is useful if you’re vacuuming a delicate material or the suction is too high for your needs / strength.
I’m surprised by how powerful yet quiet this vacuum is – technology has certainly progressed in recent years, and the din that cleaners used to make is thankfully a thing of the past. Also to be applauded is the vortex system that removes the need for expensive bags. The high performance HEPA filter prevents dust from circulating back into the room and is washable. I wouldn’t personally buy any vacuum these days unless it had an exhaust filter. They make a huge difference in helping remove fine dust an allergens, especially if you have pets.
So, overall I feel pretty impressed with this vacuum.
I love this vacuum cleaner. It’s easily portable and makes cleaning carpets so effortless. It’s also amazingly efficient at removing pet hairs.
This is a great little vacuum particularly suited for a smaller house or flat. It has very good suction and does its job well.
A number of reviews say that the suction is too strong for carpet, but there is a switch on the footplate to change between carpet and hard floor. Change the setting and it works well on carpet.
Personally I found the turbo tool a little weedy but the other tools that come with it are really good and much better for stairs and upholstery. The lead could also be a little longer.
