I am very pleased with this purchase and comes in very handy when looking after a friends puppy. I was a little dubious as some of the reviews were very critical. I would not want to shampoo an entire carpet or sofa with this device but its perfect for cleaning up little accidents. The fact is not mains operated makes it so much quicker to set up and put away. The suction power is good but not as powerful as a full size electric carpet cleaner but it is not intended for larger jobs. My only slight criticism is that the cleaning solution bottle is on the small sides and sometimes needs to be filled up twice, depending on the size of the spillage.

I don’t normally write reviews but the cleaner was so much better than I had expected that I wanted to share my experience. Would recommend

This item has been a boon in our household used many times with a new puppy cleaning up accidents whilst being house trained. It is very easy to use, suction power is excellent, cleaning too. Just watch out when emptying that you have proper hold of the canister and not just the lid! It’s also great that it is rechargeable so can be picked up and used anywhere in the house.

I was dubious that a small machine would be any good, but it’s an amazing machine.
I have used it today to remove 3 patches of cat sick from my carpet, one stain was a month old and I had already scrubbed it twice with fairy liquid and failed.
I also cleaned the arms of my sofa.
Amazing how dry everything was after the cleaning too.
The machine itself is easy to clean too.
It is a little heavy and that weight is mainly the battery.

Bought for my very elderly dog’s unavoidable accidents! Did a little experiment and spilt some very strong black coffee on an offcut of my very light new carpet! See before and after pics after only one clean! Very pleased with results and extremely light and easy to use! Highly recommend!

    Excelle

I have a big vax. But with having a puppy o thought this would come in very useful. It takes a bit of getting used to getting the able right to suck up. But it’s great to suck up the wee. I then spray with the solution then suck it back up. Lifesave

Very convenient tool, the suction and spray function have solved our poorly cat issues! Leaving no trace or returning stain. Came with 2.0 battery though which is useless for our vax onepowr vacuum though which was part of the reason for buying it !

After reading the reviews I firstly was a bit sceptical about ordering this, but took the plunge. I was so glad that I did. I found the hoover very easy to setup. Its suction is fantastic and certainly don’t have an issue with that. The clean fluid bottle needs to be a bit bigger. But overcame the constant filling by having a bucket filled with clean water and a separate bucket for dirty water beside me. The battery lasts about 30 minutes with a full charge and if you need to cover a large area you need to think about purchasing a second battery. Overall I’m very happy with it.

This mini vax is great for spot cleaning spills on the carpet or sofa. I wish that it was an all in one that you didn’t have to remove the battery for charging, but I guesss that’s due to health and safety so you are less likely to get the electrics wet!

We have a puppy and this has been a godsend for those little accidents. When our older dog was poorly this worked a treat too. So quick and easy to use and light weight to carry around. Battery charges up quickly and lasts a fair while. I debated for too long – should have bought it sooner!

This wet vacuum cleaner come cleaner works just fine. It does what it should and is easy and light enough to hold while using. We deliberately wanted a cordless to be able to use anywhere anytime, it is just that.

Maybe not as powerful suction as a means powered device but Good enough. The restrictions about using a cordless is that battery life is only 15 minutes. The other restriction is the input reservoir of clean water and chemicals which gets used up very quickly, I got through two fills in the 15 minutes of the battery life when trying to clean a big seat cushion of a big but old drinks spill.
It does recharge very quickly which is a plus but on a separate recharging docking station which is a small minus and one I only stupidly realised when I took the cleaner to a different location and didn’t bring the recharger station. My error but so used to other device that just plug into a usb or whatever. Even if it was many times longer to recharge to might be an option for future designs.

If used correctly this is an awesome machine to clear up fluid spills and animal accidents.
Having three cats and two adults that have all contributed a requirement for its cleaning ability, we can honestly say the machine works and works well!
The 2.0ah battery life is a little limited but has managed two full usages before having to be recharged, this is mentioned in the full description with a run time of 15 minutes.
Having said that, it’s rechargable, so who cares unless you have forgotten to recharge when you are in need…

Only for use on small areas as the water/solution holder is small but you can top it up as you go. Easy to use and much better than those huge ones which are too heavy. The battery system (can interchange with other Vax products) is a brilliant idea.

Handy little carpet cleaner, does what it’s supposed to, big downside is hose far too short, even cleaning a stain off my sofa required putting the whole unit on it rather than it sitting on the floor which would have been much better as two hands are required to use this one to hold the unit and the other to clean, bit awkward

Very disappointed that the tank is so small. I bought this in order to clean the stairs but frankly it only does one step at a time and then you have to refill. This is really only an “spot”:cleaner so consequently I haven’t used it yet after a couple of months.

I used this to clean the seats in my VW Golf. The standard battery didn’t last the full task and I had to recharge in the middle. Fortunately, the recharge only took about an hour. The suction is pretty good, although the seats still needed a day in the sun to fully dry.

It takes a little while to get used to the technique of using this device. You spray the area to clean, rub with the attached brush, and then tilt the head forward to suck up any excess fluid. I was sucking up the cleaning fluid before I had rubbed it in with the brush.

You need a strong wrist to use this cleaner and I will do one seat at a time in future. I was exhausted at the end of cleaning the whole car. The result was pretty good and the water that gets returned to the tank was pretty dirty. I had to fill up a couple of times during cleaning the car. The cleaning fluid that comes in the box smells pretty nice and the car smelt like knew when it was done.

Having had several Vax products in the past – including a Pet Vax carpet / vacuum cleaner combination and a ‘stick’ vacuum, I have found them to be durable and quite versatile bits of kit. This Vax OnePWR SpotlessGo Cordless Spotwasher is an excellent addition to the range. It’s lightweight, but packs a lot of suction and cleaning power. As others have said, it removes a disturbing amount of dirt from a carpet. It being cordless, it’s also really handy for cleaning the car. Furthermore, having an elderly dog that occasionally has the odd ‘accident’, it’s useful for those soling moments.

My only criticism is that the hose is on the short side, but apart from that, I can only highly recommend this excellent item.

In any busy home, spillages and small stains are inflicted on carpets all the time, and having something to hand which can sort out even quite messy accidents is a useful and reassuring thing. The OnePWR SpotlessGo from Vax is handy for two reasons: its portability due to being cordless, and the way in which it tackles stains quickly and effectively with a powerful combination of water and cleaning liquid. It’s not without flaws, but it’s certainly a competent and decently-performing tool which is compact and stores away tidily afterwards.

A full charge takes about an hour and half, with a battery that’s simple to clip in and out. The washer’s tank is easy to fill, with clear indicators for how much water and solution need to be poured in before you begin. The device’s pipe and nozzle help it to have a good reach, as well as wrapping away neatly around the main body of the Spotwasher after use.

The three attachments are all solidly constructed; able to scrub, swipe or swab across surfaces as the task requires. The included solution is pretty effective too, lifting a respectable amount of dirt directly and consistently most of the time. The spray spreads well from the end when the trigger is pulled, able to dampen a patch of carpet before rubbing the nozzle over the target area to pull water back in and finish the job. Suction is good, although it is sometimes hard to get it to fully retrieve water from the carpet, and a bit of effort can be required at this point.

Most importantly, the end result is usually very good, and it really isn’t a heavy tool to lift and manoeuvre around the home, which is another plus point.

Keep in mind that it really is only a device for spot-cleaning – the battery carries enough charge for about 15 minutes of use but definitely no more, so while it does a good job on individual spaces, if you’re facing a larger task or multiple rooms go for something designed for bigger tasks.

Lightweight and easy to use, we’ve used successfully this on carpet spillages and also for cleaning vinyl floors; it comes with 3 alternative detatchable heads for different surfaces, and is simple to load with water and cleaning fluid (and to empty of dirty water). The battery is detachable and charges pretty quickly. I would say that it isn’t going to shift those carpet stains that you’ve lived with for years, but if you apply it quickly to new stains it does the job.

The Vax OnePWR SpotlessGo Cordless Spotwasher continues the good work from Vax that we’ve already been accustomed to from previous products. It’s designed to provide small spotwashes to carpets and rugs rather than a full clean, which you’d need a larger mains powered wet and dry washer for.

The spot washer arrived well packed and was easy to get out and put together. You get a quick help guide with it to get going pretty quickly and no big manual, though there is a link to download one (I didn’t bother, the quick guide is good enough).

Charging the battery took a little under an hour and a half and it uses a charging base, a little like those power tools you can slot the battery in after charging. The box also comes with a 250ml bottle containing the cleaning solution. Warm water goes in the tank, followed by the solution and then you can plug in the battery and go.

We tried this out on the rug in the hall and although it’s cleaned regularly, it produced quite a bit of dirt (I’m blaming the dogs!). However, as this a spot cleaner, it lasted only enough time for a quick blast of the rug, about 15 minutes, before it needed recharging. What it did in that time, though, was pretty impressive.

The other benefit from this washer is that it’s fairly compact and easy to store compared to the massive wet and dry washer we’ve got in the garage (which is why it comes out so infrequently). This would be ideal to keep handy for spills etc if you have a carpeted house or just to concentrate on one rug at a time if you’re just doing rugs.

It works well, cleans well and is easy to manage, so full marks to Vax again for a good, solid product.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have mainly wood floors but I have a lot of rugs and pets as well as teenager and husband so a lot of stains lol.The Vax spotless go is really good for cleaning stains, spills and puddles left behind by family and pets but it is just a spot cleaner it wouldn’t be suitable for cleaning large areas for reasons I will explain. It comes boxed with various attachments and a bottle of cleaning fluid ‘always good’.It is very simple to assemble there is a brief quick start guide with very clear instructions.I like there are a variety of tools and I found the window tools great, I have a lot of reptile tanks and I used it to clean glass doors, the difference was amazing. They looked so clean my husband kept look up and panic doors were open and one of snakes may be out lol.Next onto the rugs.I have 2 senior cats and although fully litter trained they do have accidents occasionally due to age and I usually clean old fashioned way with scrubbing brush and detergent or borrow daughters large bulky carpet cleaner if few to deal with. This is when this came into its own.I was amazed the dirt it got out of the patch and also it little embarrassed.I used it to spot clean any stain patches and end up do entire rug in end as after cleaned stain the part previously looked fine suddenly looked dull in comparison lol.It looked and smelt great but the not particularly large rug wore out my little vax and I had to clean him up and put him to bed ,his poor batteries drained. This is a great little cleaner with a lot of positives, It’s portable and although not light as feather,I was able to carry and move comfortably,There are different tools for use on different surfaces and the direct jet spray is good for extra stubborn stains. It does deep clean,I was amazed and shocked when tried on the ‘Clean rug’ just how dirty water was! I used daily on freshen up everywhere for first few weeks lol. There are few not negatives but things need be aware of before purchase,The water tank is not very large and the battery runs for only 15min before needing to be removed and placed in charger for 90 min to fully recharge. For spot cleaning I think this is a great little machine.Truly portable and large enough to do good job but small enough to easily store.I highly recommend as spot cleaner. Also be sure to read all paperwork as one of leaflets is to register and get extra 2 years warranty

I’ve had a BISSELL for a number of years now that I use around the house whenever the dogs make a mess on the carpet. It was absolutely invaluable when we had a puppy and still comes in handy when there’s something disgusting on the carpet, or we also used it after a small flood to help suck up some of the water. However, over time, cleaning disgusting messed with a machine like this makes the machine equally disgusting, and we were long overdue a replacement.

The Vax OnePWR SpotlessGo Cordless Spotwasher more or less exactly replicated the features of our old BISSELL, but comes with the added bonus of being cordless and rechargeable, which is more useful than you’d expect. If you’re cleaning mess off the floor with a hose and attachment, having an extra bundle of wires to worry about is seriously inconvenient, making this Vax significantly easier to use than something that needs to be plugged in. Although the battery life is only 15 minutes or so, you really shouldn’t be clearing a section of carpet for much longer than that. Otherwise I’d consider buying a full-sized Vax.

Overall, this cleans very well, and if you learn from my mistakes and use warm soapy water to clean the hose and container AFTER you’re finished each time, it should last well. There’s really nothing else that compares to these machines for cleaning dirt and stains off carpets. Definitely consider getting one if you struggle to keep your carpets clean. Or are thinking of getting a puppy!

It is a nice compact unit. It feels very solid and well made. I like that the suction tube clips into a holding slot to keep it all tidy. The battery is easy to charge and charges quite quickly.
I first;u used it to remove a stain that was on an outside corridor, I live in a small apartment block. It did a great job and what had been there a while was gone. I then dealt with several other marks and, again, all gone. I used the rubber head and it worked well. I quickly got used to how much spray to use, which is simple to use, and had enough without it getting overly wet.
This is not for cleaning s whole house. The battery will not last and you use it at s low level – it is a small unit and you use your own pressure on rubbing the area. It does though exactly what it should – deals with spot areas and deals with them very well.

  44. Penny10Joos says:

This is a compact carpet washer for small areas only (the battery doesn’t last that long) but has the build quality you would expect from a brand like Vax. We have one of their carpet cleaners and it’s very effective so our expectations were both high and met by this device in terms of cleaning performance. It’s very portable and not too heavy but this does mean you’re reliant on the battery.

You can get up to 15 minutes of cleaning from a full charge, which is enough for most spot stains or marks. However spots tend to be unexpected accidents rather than a planned carpet wash so it depends on whether the battery is charged when you need it or you have to wait for an hour for it to charge up.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis Vax spot cleaner arrived in a well packaged box, with a quick start guide. If you want the full manual you will have to download this. It has various attachments to get into various surfaces and areas. It also comes with a small bottle of cleaning solution.

You have to charge this up for 90 minutes in-between uses and the charge only lasts about 15 minutes, so be aware this is most definitely a spot cleaning machine and not something you’d want to tackle the whole stairs or living room carpet with.

We tried this on stubborn stains on our rug from cat sick and it managed to clean it up and it is ideal if you have pets and you need to quickly clear up any messes or spills.

I was surprised how short the charge lasted, but I guess it is only a small unit, with a small battery.

It is diminuitive in size and easy to store in a small cupboard or under the sink. It looks well made and feels robust in use.

This is great for what it is designed to do and if you can overlook the limited battery life, it performs well.

  47. DarbyGouger says:

This is a fairly compact machine and as it says, designed to clean a small spot and if it is on the floor that is where you will be on your hands and knees to clean it, the hose is quite short.

It is rechargeable and the battery pack and charger it would seem can be used on a new range of “ONEPWR” machines thus making more use of your battery packs and charger.

The charger has a permanently attached power cord so no worries about mixing up mains adapters (so many look exactly the same). The charger has indicator lights to show progress and if you forget what they mean the guide to them is on the base of the charger hiding.

In use it all works as described and I tried it on the downstairs toilet and had to refill the solution tank three times to do the small area but only had to empty when done. Perhaps I did not suck enough water up?

I did note you have to change the angle of the nozzle on the carpet to suck up the most dirty water.

The battery was down to one of the four level indicators when I had finished.

No instructions on how to clean it but the cover of the nozzle comes off and I let it suck up clean water from a bowl when finished to flush the hose pipe.

No storage for the alternate floor nozzle and squeegee but pretty easy to identify.

Being rechargeable makes it a little more portable but must I guess push up the cost and if you already have a floor version with hose option the gain will be minimal plus its very small tanks.

But I must say the carpet using the provided solution looks a lot better and no more toothpaste marks.

Great For Small Jobs / Emergencies Clean Ups

I had a carpet cleaner previously but it was big and bulky, I absolutely dreaded getting it out to clean up small areas such as coffee spillage or wine on the carpet. It was such a chore!

I absolutely live the Vax OnePWR SpotlessGo, the cordless functionality of this product is great. Approx 90 mins to charge the battery to full provides around 15-20 minute cleaning time which is enough for cleaning most small to medium areas. Cleaning is really quick and the machine gives good results. For a small unit it has a lot of cleaning power. This is so multifunctional and I love I can also do my car interior in the summer. Portability is absolutely great. Looks smart and built well, I am going to look into more OnePWR products as I would definitely love to explore more cordless products as they make things a lot easier. No more trailing cables. It’s very light weight, doesn’t feel too heavy.

I’d say this isn’t really suitable to clean a whole carpet but it isn’t really designed for that or made to clean large spaces. The tank is quite small but it performs well for tackling small stains. For cleaning whole carpets I would then probably recommend a proper carpet cleaner to be used. It will be great for cleaning small areas.

I’m 53 years old and I’ve never used a Vax but always wondered just how good they actually are, I’ve mentioned my age because Vax have always been around from my younger days but never used or seen one until now.
The word I’m using is WOW! My house only has carpets on my upstairs landing because the rest of my home is tiled however I couldn’t decide what to clean as I needed something really dirty so I got my old car mats from the shed which are covered in oil and diesel and started on these, you have 15 minutes on the battery so this was just enough to do one mat because it was absolutely filthy also the mat in picture 1 was cleaned twice so you can see how much dirt was removed.
Some of the mat wasn’t too bad so I sprayed most of the solution on the worst parts and used the pet attachment to rub the mat vigorously and you could clearly see the dirty water within the mat, once I finished rubbing I removed the attachment and switched the Vax on and started to remove the water by going up and down the mat, the dirty water could be clearly seen going into the Vax.
It does come with various attachments and I will be using the squeegee a lot with having tiled floors.
Cleaning the water chamber was easy with just a rinse under the tap and the same for the attachment, battery actually charged quicker than the 90 minutes and this was when 1 light was remaining, the charger switched itself off when charged and I also like the button on top of the battery which you press to tell you how much charge is left whilst using the Vax.
The Vax solution that came with the machine was a sample bottle so this was used on my 4 car mats, I looked on Amazon to purchase this solution again but wasn’t available apart from upholstery only so I opted for another brand and this was applied in the same way by topping up the solution tank with warm water up to the marker then finishing off with adding the solution to the next mark.
Overall excellent piece of kit that I will cherish and if I had carpets I would of opted for the upright version but I’m so impressed with this one. I am now going to clean my old wing back chair which has plenty of dirt on and I’m 100% certain it will be Spotless.
Also the price might seem expensive to some people which I certainly don’t as I’ve seen the results but my car mats cost 144.00 and I’m actually going to put them in my new car now.

    WOW! Fantastic!

We have carpet down with puppy pads but the little bugger keeps having accidents on the carpet normally I would of had to get the big carpet shampoo machine out takes ages & needs loads of water & is heavy etc or I would be down on hands and knees scrubbing away for ages, delighted I tried this put some water in and away I go cleaning up the spot the puppy just did presto super clean, quick, portable, I swear my pup is now having more accidents so I get this cleaner out 🙂 but it is so simple & handy to use I do not mind. Huge time saver & cleans the carpet up lovely.

I was impressed with this product straight from the box. It is very simple to use and it charged up very quickly. It is lightweight in that it is easy to store on a high shelf but would be heavy if you needed to hold it to clean up high. it is compact which makes for easy storage.

I first tackled a stain on my sofa. It’s being bugging me for ages and simply wiping does not remove it. I didn’t want to scrub as it might damage the fabric. This removed it very easily. I did find it was still quite wet after use so I used a towel to sponge off the excess. I think that is due to the type of material though.

This isn’t suitable to clean a whole carpet. It isn’t designed for that. The tank is quite small and it really is a spot cleaner. For tackling whole carpets then a proper carpet cleaner would be required. It is great for cleaning small areas and things like doormats or car seats. It would be perfect fro cleaning up a baby car seat or the suchlike.

It is simple enough to use, assemble and put away.

    I would highly recommend it.

I’m very impressed by this Vax Spotwasher. It’s lightweight, well made, and very efficient. The only downside is the poor instruction leaflet, but as it’s fairly obvious what goes where and does what this isn’t too much of a problem. It comes with 3 head attachments, a small bottle of cleaning fluid and a lithium battery and charger. A charge will last about 20 minutes, which should be sufficient to clean most small spills etc. as it’s not intended as a full size carpet/furniture cleaner. I needed to clean off some muddy paw prints that had dried on the back seat of our car and which had stubbornly resisted hand cleaning and this proved perfect for the job. I filled the water reservoir with the recommended quantities of water and fluid and used the brush attachment., which was all very easy. A word of warning; when you press the trigger to spray the water it actually seems to come out f the top of the nozzle and so sprays a few inches beyond it, so I found you need to actually aim the nozzle at the area you want to clean, but it’s a very fine spray so doesn’t soak the area.

The muddy paw prints were right across the back seats and looked a real mess and I’d almost resigned myself to never getting rid of them, but with a few short sprays and a bit of elbow grease this little machine made short work of them. The results were so good I decided to clean the driver’s seat as well and that also came up like new and I still had enough charge left in the battery to clean the front passenger seat. To do all that I’d say I only really needed to quarter fill the water reservoir at most as I actually didn’t need to use much at all and despite being a cold, damp winter’s day the seats were all dry and like new by the next morning. The machine itself is fairly lightweight and manoeuvrable, but I did have a bit of an issue with the hose, which is quite stiff and not long enough to put the machine in the footwell of the car whilst you clean the seat, so I ended up having to balance it on the sills. This wasn’t really a problem, but it did make the job a bit more awkward than I would’ve liked. Overall though, I’m really impressed with the job it did and would definitely recommend.

This carpet cleaner is great for spills in small areas. It is easy to use and gets the area clean quickly. It has a run time of 15 minutes and quite a small tank so it’s not something you would use on larger areas if carpet to shampoo. So at nearly 150 you might prefer to get a machine tat does both. But for spot cleaning it’s excelle

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFor a cordless wet vac, this SpotlessGo from Vax does a great job of cleaning small patches and spills. It come nicely packaged in a box and as well as the wet vac you get 3 different head attachments (brush, rubber bristles, and window squeegee), a 2Ah battery and charging base with UK plug, a 250ml bottle of carpet solution, and the documentations.

Using it is relatively simple; you just pull the battery cover down and slide the battery in, remove the small treatment tank and fill it with warm water to the line and then top it up to the second line with solution, unwind the hose and attach the tool you require and turn it on. The suction is done automatically, and you can spray the cleaning solution using the trigger on the end of the hose.

The performance of it is good with the machine able to suck back up most of the solution you spray onto carpets leaving them just slightly damp. The tank can hold roughly two of the solution tanks capacity (approx. 500ml) and shuts off automatically when it reaches max. It runs for about 15 minutes which gives you enough time to spray and suck up two solution tanks worth with a bit of scrubbing in between.

The main point of this machine is that is a quick and easy way of cleaning small areas at a time or sucking up a spilt drink or other liquids. Some of the ways I will use it for is cleaning my sofa, welcome mat, interior car mats, the stairs, and spills from my dog’s water bowl as I’m always kicking it by accident. The included squeegee attachment also gives it the ability to clean windows. I found the hose length adequate, but I would have liked it to be just a little bit longer to make it even easier to use.

The quality of the machine and plastics is very high, its also very easy to clean but after use I would recommend sucking up two tanks worth of clean water to flush it through, you’d be amazed how much dirt stays in the pipes after cleaning something dirty. If taken care of properly it seems like it could last a long time, I just hope the battery holds up after many charges.

Overall, I’m very happy with this cordless spot washer, it does a great job of tackling small cleaning tasks. Its lightweight, portable and can be ready to go in seconds if a spillage occurs. Yes, the tanks are rather small but its works great when you just want to do a quick spot clean without having to bring out the big vac or if you don’t have the room to store a larger machine. I feel its competitively priced, I highly recommend it and I feel it deserves the full five stars!

Ideal for small cleaning jobs, great performance!

This a mini cordless Vax carpet cleaning machine with a removable rechargeable battery and some tools that can be clipped onto the washer head. The unit is compact and although not as lightweight as most cordless vacuum cleaners, it is very portable. The cleaning solution reservoir lift out easily, it has a screw cap and conveniently is marked with a water and detergent level so you get the mix just right. The reservoir is really small so it’s clearly designed to help you deal quickly with accidental household spills, and it performs really well. The trigger on the cleaning head is a little tight and I found it a little tiring to use by the end, but the cleanup is impressive. The waste water bin detaches easily and all the component can be rinsed thoroughly to keep the unit spartkling clean. The hose wraps neatly around the base of the unit so it stows away more neatly than many full sized units. The rechargeable battery is fairly bulky, and comes with a charging dock. My battery arrived charged.

Review for Vax OnePWR SpotlessGo Cordless Spotwasher.

Having owned many cordless vacuum, this is my first cordless carpet cleaner I have the opportunity to test, and have been busy testing this over the past few days. An important distinction to note is this is a washer and not a steam cleaner. The compact size and the lightness making it easy to carry. The machine is designed for spot cleaning as opposed to carpet shampooing, full carpet wash is often not needed a spot wash in high usage areas or spillage is sufficient. Clean water tank holds around 0.16 litres whilst the dirty water tank can hold around 0.28 litres. Suitable for all floor types not just carpets such as hard floors as well as upholstery.

The unique feature of this vacuum is it features onePWR battery technology which seems to be a Hoover / Vax initiative meaning every ONEPWR battery works with every ONEPWR product. Comes with a single rechargeable battery and charger.

The main compromise of this cordless is the 15 minutes run time, depending upon the frequency of your cleaning this could be frustrating use / charge cycle. Charging can only be performed by removing the rechargeable battery (included) and docking on the separate charger (included)

What you get included in the box:

1 x VAX ONEPWR SpotlessGo with Hose and Wash Tool
    1 x Squeegee Attachment
    1 x Multi Purpose Attachment
    1 x PET Attachment
    1 x 2.0Ah Battery
    1 x ONEPWR Charger
    1 x SpotlessGo User Guide
    1 x SpotlessGo Safety Guide
    1 x 250ml ONEPWR Multi-floor Solution

Overall a one trick pony, it does this trick very well however, if you need to frequent spot cleaning then this is a good option if not then its an optional buy.

    Positives
    + Great For spot cleaning
    + Lightweight
    + Compact
    + OnePWR battery compatibility
    + Useful for upholstery

    Negatives
    – Only 15 minutes run time
    – Small tank capacities
    – Not ideal for larger carpet shampooing
    – Charging only by removing battery

Golden Review Award: 15 From Our UsersGet that, it’ll be fun, she thought.
Oh my goodness, NO!!!! The sheer horror of the dirt it took out of my carpet in a “spot clean” is going to give me nightmares until I am able to have all of my carpets professionally cleaned!

Having not long moved into my house, the carpets were already there. Yes, there’s been a little building work but they are vacuumed weekly and look clean… I’ve included a photo of how much dirt this little device took out of ONE SQUARE FOOT of carpet. Plus the bristle brush loosened a collection of embedded dog hairs (eeek). I am genuinely disturbed by the dirt that has been revealed.

So, naturally, I have to give this little machine a 5* rating (and zero stars to my carpets cleanliness). It is so simple to use, straight from the box – everything you need is provided including a bottle of carpet cleaning solution.

I put the battery on charge, expecting that I’d be able to use the machine later this evening but it charged from one bar to full in around an hour.

I didn’t bother reading the manual – the quick start guide told me all I needed. The solution container is easy to fill and has handy measuring guides printed onto it (fill to line one with warm water and top up to the next line with the cleaning solution), plug that into the machine, choose your machine head (all-purpose, squeegee, or pet), turn on the machine and you’re off! Simple.

It took me less than five minutes to clean my “spot” thoroughly. The water vacuum seems quite powerful for such a small unit, and it’s always satisfying to see the solution/dirt being sucked away.

Whilst it is described as lightweight, I can only suppose this depends how strong you are. At just over 3kgs, it’s probably the equivalent of carrying two irons or a case of beer. This is fine if you are just carrying it to a place in your home to then rest down and do some cleaning. But for jobs that take a little longer and are at height, such as squeegeeing the shower, it is a little difficult to hold it and operate it at the same time – the hose is too short to be able to put it on the ground. It reaches up about 1/3 height of a standard shower cubicle, so you would need to lift it for the other 2/3 (I will practice, and update if I find a “technique”).

For carpet spills and suchlike, this is the perfect bit of kit. Even though I am horrified by what it revealed, it obviously works so I am happy to recommend this.

    Shock and horro
