It’s a good solid tripod. I use it it with a Sony ZV-1 and a teleprompter and it does exactly what I need – easy to adjust and solid when locked in place.

Usage professionnel.
There’s a few of these budget video tripods on amazon but I’m glad we choose this one for the studio. It’s being used for the mostly static A cam and occasional B roll pans with the fluid head. It’s heavy, which is both expected and desired, and is sturdy and looks like it’ll last.

So habe ich mir ein Video Stativ vorgestellt. Stabil, gute Ausstattung mit 2 Kameraschienen, groer Arm zum schwenken. Wunderbar weiche Bewegungen mglich. Etwas schwerer, klar, aber dafr standfest und zuverlssig.
Sin duda el mejor tripode que he tenido y el que tiene un aspecto ms pro. La altura mxima y una barbaridad y las patas son de una gran estabilidad. La bola ayuda muchsimo a la hora de nivelar en terrenos irregulares. Si necesitase otro, sin duda comprara el mismo otra vez
Bon trpied qui donne une bonne sensation de qualit pour une usage pas trop intensif. La tte est bien fluide et rgulire dans les mouvements. La prsence de deux plaques de dgagement rapide est apprciable.
Seul petit dfaut : la “boule” est en plastique ajour et se dplace dans une cupule en plastique, ce qui est moins pratique pour caler le niveau horizontal de la tte. Mais bon. Pour le prix, j’accepte.

Sono molto soddisfatto, resistente e ben equilibrato, anche le staffe di posizione sono molto affidabili. La testa sembra all’apparenza semplice ma assicuro molto funzionale e senza scatti, anzi scorre molto fluida ( ovviamente io posso parlare per la mia attrezzatura montata con un rig e panasonic gh5 ). Lo consiglio, anche la custodia molto resistente cn ottima imbottitura, all’interno la staffa avite per la testa in regalo, il top che avrei potuto aspettarmi .

Premessa: non un Manfrotto della stessa categoria.
Per il treppiede stabile e robusto. dotato di una bella borsa per il trasporto. I 72 pollici di altezza (pi di 1,80 metri) sono un grande punto a favore perch si pu utilizzare quasi in qualsiasi situazione. Ad esempio quando si devono fare riprese da una certa distanza con persone sedute davanti. Non proprio leggerissimo. La testa non fluida come dice la descrizione. Ma sono stato piacevolmente sorpreso dalla durezza dei movimenti in quanto lo rendono particolarmente indicato per lavori di precisione.
Nel complesso un buon prodotto ad un prezzo pi che ragionevole.
Devo essere sincero. Dato il prezzo mi aspettavo un treppiedi molto semplice, invece appena l’ho provato sono rimasto sorpreso. molto fluido sia nel movimento di tilt che di pan. bel piantato a terra e la testa fluida sembra abbastanza resistente. La sacca molto comoda per portarlo in giro. L’unico difetto che ho trovato che la croce non allungabile quindi non si pu abbassare per creare angolazioni differenti. Comunque rimane un buonissimo cavalletto, di buona qualit.
Sono per ora meravigliato. Lo abbiamo usato con una Sony FS7 quindi superiore alla portata descritta. Il comportamento stato ottimo.

Fluid head feels lovely. Very premium. Nicely dampened. I love the twist locks as leavers on other tripods will eventually break. Very heavy, but that’s great for me. Comes in a handy carry case too. No complaints after 6 months.

I have just received my lovely new video tripod and I have to agree with most people that this does feel like a well made quality product which looks like it will last for years to come. I have not had a chance to use ‘out in the field’ as yet but I have done a quick set up with my video camera and taken a few test shots which look very smooth. To be fair my previous tripod has never let me down and it’s not as bad as some budget tripods out there so I will keep it as a backup, but this new purchase has an immediate ‘professional look’ and I am very pleased with it so far!

Alors la, je suis bluff. J’avais des craintes sur la qualit du pied mais le prix et l’ensemble des commentaires m’ont motivs et j’ai bien fait.
Trs pro, trs stable, une tte vritablement fluide. Pour le moment c’est trs bon… Je trouve le sac de transport trs bon galement.

S gostaria que o eixo da panormica fosse um pouco mais pesado em termos de atrito. muito menos pesado que o eixo de tilt e por isso quando se fazem movimentos na diagonal muito mais propcio a fazer movimentos em escada por causa da diferena entre eixos. Nada que no se resolva com algum treino. Estamos limitados neste aspecto mas para o preo no se pode pedir mais.
I was a bit worried after reading some negative reviews, but on the whole I’m quite happy. I’m not a professional video-man, but needed a tripod as high as I could get (which already limits the choice) and with some sort of fluid head. The filming I do is usually with one or 2 fixed cameras (Sharp and Panasonic) and one which needs to move from musician to musician in a fluid way. And this works. The cameras are light (less than 1 kg), not sure how it works with heavier ones, but I also used the tripod to put a much heavier telescope on it, and it also allows me to move slowly without any jumping. I’m sure it’s possible to get better equipment, but at this price I’m quite happy.
Ottima soluzione per il prezzo, cavalletto solido e bella testa fluida
Ho acquistato il treppiede approfittando di una offerta lampo. Dalle prime impressioni sembra essere un cavalletto molto stabile. La struttura, in alluminio e plastica, sembra essere robusta, provato con telecamera montata e la torsione minima. La testa la parte migliore, fluida ma pesata, per muoverla bisogna applicare un po’ di forza, ma i movimenti sono costanti e senza strappi o scatti si in pan che tilt. Ottimo per chi ha deciso di avere il suo primo treppiede video pro. Per quello che costa ha il miglior rapporto qualit/prezzo. Non una testa Manfrotto, ma la si pu comparare tranquillamente alla MVH500. Comoda anche la sacca, imbottita, ben rifinita e anche bilanciata per il trasporto. Unico neo: nel trasporto si lacerata la sacca.
Un achat indispensable pour la vido. Ce trpied est d’une qualit incroyable. Il est massif et que ce soit en panoramique ou en travelling il reste super fluide. A ce prix il ne faut pas hsiter. Le petit + est le sac de transport qui est bien rembourr et d’un bonne qualit. Je suis heureux de mon achat.

Leggero per essere un prodotto semiprofessionale e sembra robusto. Fluido
en fait, la grosse diffrence avec les autres trpied c’est qu’il n’y a aucun coups et donc a vous faites des mouvements fluides de camra un peu comme la tl. C’est pour a que je l’ai achet, mon ancien trpied faisait des mouvements saccads quand je tournais la camra sur le trpied. Ce trpied est plus lourd que les autres mais franchement a vaut le coup cette tte coulissant tu es vraiment fantastique.

Lger mais suffisamment lourd pour tre stable. S’ajuste en hauteur et largeur avec rapidit et (encore une fois) stabilit. Les molettes de serrages sont simples, efficaces, logiques et scurises. Si par malheur un oubli de serrage du rail de support (toujours possible dans l’action) intervenait, ici aucun risque de perdre sa camra grace au bouton de suret dbrayable indispensable. Deux rails sont fournis avec des pas de vis diffrents permettant d’adapter camras diffrentes et accessoires (crans, micros, etc), plus un autre pas de vis sur le pied lui mme. Mais l o la conception du pied est aussi formidable est que le bras de contrle des mouvements panoramiques peut tre mont droite… ou gauche, ce qui pour moi, gaucher, est inespr ! Vraiment, je suis bluff. Belle finition galement. Bref, une belle russite ! 🙂

75mm Halbschale? Leider nein, leider gar nicht. Es ist eine 65mm Halbschale (beachten beim Stativkopf wechsel).
Das Stativ ist trotzdem wertig verarbeitet, wackelt jedoch aufgrund der Mittelspinne und der kleinen Fen wie ein Kuhschwanz. In der Nivellierkugel ist nur eine Mittelschraube und nicht, wie auf dem Foto zusehen, noch drei Fixierungsschrauben (oder um es aus Sicht des Stativkopfes zu schreiben: Ich glaub, ich dreh durch.). Das sollte beachtet werden – gerade wenn Konzertveranstaltungen mit viel Bass gefilmt werden, ist ein Nachziehen der Mutter unausweichlich und der Kopf kann sich lsen.
Fr den Semi-Bereich ein sehr gutes Stativ – sobald es in die professionelle Richtung geht -> Auf zu Teltec und was ordentliches kaufen!
Kurz und knapp gesagt, das Stativ ist hervorragend. Die Verarbeitung und auch der Fluid head sind sehr gut! Ich verwende es zusammen mit einem Dolly fr Produktvideos aller Art und kann es jedem empfehlen!

Unico appunto la posizione della vite di fissaggio della slitta che ingombra ed in posizione fastidiosa per il blocco; ho una mirrorless e ho dovuto spostare la slitta per permettere il fissaggio della stessa. La testa buona e sufficientemente fluida. Come primo treppiede per video mi considero soddisfatta.

LA testa non ha molta mobilit e fluidit, fa resistenza al movimento, ma proprio questa la rende auspicabile per uso professionale, dato che non si muove facilmente risulta essere molto precisa.
Il materiale, in alluminio, sembra molto robusto.
Aperto gi al secondo livello di estensione delle gambe risulta sufficiente per la maggioranza dei lavori, con l’ultimo stadio delle gambe aperto supera il metro e ottanta di altezza.
Ha la bolla , quindi pu essere messo facilmente in piano.
I piedi sono di gomma e fanno molto bene il loro lavoro.

Excellent value for money, this is a professional quality tripod for use with heavier video cameras. Tough and rigid with endless adjustment for height up to 72 inches. The 1/4 turn leg adjustment screws are strong and easy to use. The included fluid head is excellent and provides a very smooth panning and tilt movement. The bag is of very high quality and makes packing away and/or carrying very satisfying. This is a truly excellent video tripod and remarkable value for money for enthusiasts or professionals. Das Stativ sieht sehr wertig aus, wie viele professionelle Stative, und hlt was es verspricht. Es ist fr Videos mit Schwenkfahrten genauso gut zu verwenden, wie als leistungsfhiges Fotostativ. Durch sein geringes Gewicht und Transportma ist es sehr gut fr unterwegs geeignet, die passende Tragetasche ist dabei und enthlt ausserdem noch einen zweiten Kameraschuh, bestens fr Leute mit mehreren Kameras geeignet. Die Hhenverstellung ist denkbar einfach und die Standfestigkeit ist sehr gut. Der Kugelkopf ist sehr schn flssig fr Kameraschwenks geeignet. Alles in allem lsst es bei mir keine Wnsche offen und ist wirklich empfehlenswert.
Head has a nice balance between fluid and stiff. Amazon included the attribute of warmth. Not sure how this can be applied to a tripod, hence 3 out of 4 stars for warmth.
Once the adapter is attached to the camera and then to the tripod, the locking nut/lever may appear to snarl/catch on the camera. No problem, gentle pull on the plastic lever and you can re-orientate the lever on the hidden nut. May have to adjust the lever a couple of times but at least you can lock the fitting.

A very well crafted product. The pan and tilt head makes for very smooth movement of the camera
This tripod itself is quite weighty, which means that once it is down it is super stable. The machine finish is good and feels well made. The legs release easily, 1/2 turn, and have a nice smooth action, the spreader works fine. The top plate fits well, 1/4 turn release but beware, it can catch the camera. The horizontal movement plane is smooth and beautifully damped although if you turn it to many times it can release. Just turn it back the other way to fix. With the Panasonic I have to mount the camera as far back on the mounting plate as I can, to make it balance.
I have 3 cons:
1)The levelling bubble is a little obscured by the tilting head but if you level before you attach the camera you can get round this.
2) The vertical tilt is notchy at the top, there is a definite clunk and it is hard to adjust the tension to a nice smooth flow, it can jerk a little as you start movement. I wrote to Cayer about the clunk and got no response.
3) The bag has developed a split along the Zip – see image.
Summary.
If you are looking for a solid tripod, this is a decent buy, if it’s faulty swap it before the 30days have expired. It is heavy, whilst this is great for stability you don’t want to hike up any mountains with it. It is much cheaper than the main brands which is a major plus. Shame about the tilt and the bag.

I need to take a video from the back of the conference room. I bought this tripod for its height. It has good weight ad sturdy at max height. Legs can be extended easily with half-turn knobs. Feet are good, not slipping. Very smooth pan and tilt. Very pleased with this purchase.

Leichtes Handling, weiche Schwenks, hohe Stabilitt und (was mir wichtig war) eine Hhe von bis zu 1,84m!

Verarbeitung:
Das Stativ ist aus Aluminium gefertigt und ist sehr robust. Das Gewicht von etwa 4kg bietet gute Standfestigkeit. Die Verschraubungen und der Stativkopf sind leicht zu bedienen und halten bei mir sehr gut und ich musste noch keine Schrauben o.. nachziehen.
Kleiner Kritikpunkt zu den Gummifen: da diese recht fest sitzen und eine kleine Auflageflche haben, muss man sie manchmal in die richtige Position drehen, um maximale Standfestigkeit zu erhalten.
Hhe:
Das Stativ lsst sich mit zwei Stufen auf eine Hhe von bis zu 1,84m ausziehen. Das war ein wichtiges Kaufargument fr mich, da ich die Kamera bei kleineren Stativen sonst nicht auf Augenhhe bei mir bringe und aufsichtig filmen muss.
Das Ausfahren der Stativbeine geht leicht von der Hand und die Beine stecken nicht fest, sondern fahren ohne Ruckeln aus.
Handling:
Die Handhabung ist leichtgngig und erinnert stark an teurere Stative, wie etwa die Sachtler Ace-Serie. Schwenken und Neigen gehen leicht von der Hand und sind dank Fluidkopf reibungslos mglich.
Bei mir luft das wunderbar und geschmeidig, allerdings haben einige Mitrezensenten bereits von leichtem Haken in ihren Stativen berichtet. Mglicherweise hat die Qualitt hier Abweichungen von Stativ zu Stativ. Das sollte man im Hinterkopf behalten. Bei meinem Stativ gibt es da nichts zu beanstanden.
Der Fluidkopf kann in horizontaler und vertikaler Richtung festgestellt werden. Eine Einstellung des Widerstandes ist hier nicht mglich. Das ist allerdings ein Feature, das man bei einem Stativ unter 150 kaum erwarten kann.
Features:
Abgesehen vom Fluidkopf bietet das Stativ einige wichtige Features. So z.B. den Kugelkopf, den man mithilfe der kleinen Wasserwaage eben ausrichten kann, wenn der Untergrund vielleicht nicht perfekt ist. Der Schwenkarm ist robust und angenehm zu bedienen. Die Stativplatte kann erst nach Bettigung einer Sicherheitstaste entfernt werden, auch wenn die Schraube fr die Platte bereits offen ist. Das verhindert, dass die Platte (inkl. Kamera) aus Versehen vom Stativ rutschen kann.
Die mitgelieferte Stativtasche mit Schultergurt wirkt gut verarbeitet und fr den Preis auf jeden Fall in Ordnung.
Es wird eine zweite Stativplatte mitgeliefert, die entweder als Ersatz oder als Platte fr eine zweite Kamera fr schnelle Wechsel verwendet werden kann. Fr beide Platten sind sowohl 1/4 Zoll als auch 3/8 Zoll Schrauben enthalten.
Auch enthalten sind Imbusschlssel fr alle Schrauben am Stativ.
Mein Fazit steht ja bereits am Anfang. Ich bin uerst zufrieden! 🙂
Bought this to use for shooting my rifle off. Wanted something solid and this fits the bill.
Excellent tripod. The build quality is great. There’s a great video review of this from an engineer on YouTube and he gives an in-depth review about its structural strengths and potential weaknesses and there aren’t really any of the latter. Its built so well. So easy to use so easy to move while setup.

The fluidiy on the tripod is perfect. There is a lock to stop it. But it’s a “fixed” fluid style. The lock isnt to determine the push back with the fluid head. The lock is only to lock it in.
I managed to attach a 100cm slider to it and it worked. Ok, I had to really tighten the tilt lock but it worked! Now I dont have to carry two stands.
I nearly bought another tripod but glad I changed my mind and got this. Easily the best value tripod for videocameras and SLRs.
Utilis pour une longue vue (observation du ciel et des oiseaux). Stabilit trs bonne et excellente fluidit de la rotule qui permet une mise au point sans -coups.
Ottimo affare, solo la borsa (bella) e la doppia slitta di ricambio possono valere un terzo del prodotto. Il tripod ben fatto anche se alcune parti in plastica ci inducono a sperare che duri. Le manopole di serraggio sono forse migliorabili. La testa quello che . Non mi sono pentito di averlo acquistato. Vale fino all’ultimo euro.
Natrlich gibt es Manfrotto und co. … aber in einer Preisregion, die fr mich derzeit nicht in Frage kommt. Daher war ich auf der Suche nach einem fr mich bezahlbaren Stativ, das Stabil ist, einen vernnftigen Fluid-Head hat und eine gute Hhe bietet.
Da habe ich wohl einen Volltreffergelandet. Preis/Leistung sind mehr als fair, die Verarbeitung scheint mir durchweg gut und das Handling ist top. Zustzlich ist die mitgelieferte Tasche auch noch recht vernnftig, was bei bezahlbaren Produkten nicht immer so ist. ber die zustzliche Montageplatte habe ich mich auch gefreut.
Alles in allem bin ich sehr zufrieden und werde mir davon vermutlich noch ein weiteres zulegen!
