Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIn short a good unit. Picture quality is good, app is easy to set up and use and reasonable price to send recorded footage to cloud if required. Very reasonably priced for performance around.

This isn’t a bad little home cam at all for the price. First off, we just installed it as a home-watch device as we don’t have cats or dogs, but it works a treat like this too.

You can use it straight out of the box via the dedicated phone app, but if you want the full range of Cloud saving functionality, you’re looking at a monthly subscription. This is reasonable at 3ish a month, but if you already have a home cam system / subscription (we’re using Ring), it’s not compatible with another system, so subscribing to another wasn’t an option for us. That said, you can add an SD card for local storage even if you don’t want the Cloud features.

In operation, we were impressed by a couple of things:

    – night vision is surprisingly good! you can make out everything – far beyond what I’d expected for a budget home cam
    – motion detection is just right – it’s triggered by all the right things and not constantly tripped by small movements as we’ve found with other small cams
    – two-way audio is a great extra feature and is loud and clear

If there’s any issue we had, it’s that zoom isn’t a proper zoom, and doesn’t really hone in on detail, but enlarges a bit of the picture instead. But in a smallish room, that’s not a particularly big deal anyway, so it wasn’t a deal breaker at all.

Setup is nice and easy, and the body of the cam doesn’t get warm in long-time operation (sounds strange, but it’s an issue we had with a couple in the past!). All in all, it’s a brill addition to your home cam setup at a decent price.

Packed full of features. This little camera does a great job. You need to download the accompanying app in order to view the camera. I felt a little weary of the app needing your location settings to be on as I felt this poses a security risk especially as the camera works over WiFi it has the potential to be hacked into.
Good picture quality, easy to use. You need to insert an sd card for memory purposes or they do give you the option to pay monthly for cloud storage.

The camera works really well, Pan and Tilt and Motion tracking is second to none

The initial setup was a bit of a pain (this might be due to my poor wifi coverage around the home) – once the camera was setup it worked like a charm, really easy to navigate the app and setup feature such a motion recording and tracking.

I use this to keep an eye on my dogs when they are left alone, the motion detection notifications are really handy.

First impressions were good. Inside the box was the camera, power cable, mounting plate with fixtures and instructions. Setting up the camera only took me around 15 mins. Following the manual I downloaded an app, set up an account, registered the product and connected to my wifi.

Once I was up and running you can see the camera quality is really good. Controlling the camera is very easy, just tap a direction you want it to move and it does. The sound from the inbuilt microphone is fine and you can also respond by pressing a button in the app which accesses the mic in your phone. You can buy video storage via the app, but this is something which doesn’t interest me, I prefer just to use the live stream to make sure everything is ok in real time which this does really well.

Overall I’ve been pleased with this camera, it functions well, does a decent job and the app is easy to use. It’s a shame the camera doesn’t have an onboard battery as plugging it into the mains limits where I can place it, plus the cable supplied is quite short. I also worry our dog could get tangled up in the cord somehow so am looking into securing it to the wall to avoid the chance of that happening. Other than that though I’m happy with it this camera, it does the job and provides reassurance whilst we’re out. Would be happy to recommend if you don’t mind that it has to be mains powered.

    Good basic camera

I like to use these cameras to monitor my front door since the postman doesn’t like waiting more than 2 seconds for me to answer. This connects to your phone and can be viewed from anywhere, you can also use it with alexa (I assume on something like an echo show) which is always a nice feature.

The picture quality is pretty good too, for the price at least.

Definitely recommend if you just want something to let you see into your home while you’re away.

Image quality is pretty good and, being small, it can be ore easily disguised (I use it as a security cam mainly).
Pairing with the wifi is straightforward. There is a QR code to scan to download the app, then a QR code on the phone for the camera to scan. It works only with 2.4ghz wifi, so some fiddling might be required if you use only one access with the router automatically detemrinignt he band.
The app is pretty decent . I did not try it with Alexa.
All considered it makes for a pretty decent security cam on the cheap.

Currently just 50, and it has been as low as 40 in the past, this is a camera that cost that same as a static one, but has pan-tilt and two way audio. The audio isn’t amazing but is good enough for a two-way conversation. A bit muffled and you won’t pick up every nuance of sound, but if you want to shout at the cat you can. The cat will ignore you.

The app works well and the pan tilt is handy, although we ended up placing this in a spot that can see the whole room.

The only real problem with this is that the cat has (coincidentally?) decided to avoid the living room now that there is a spy in the camp.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’ve had a fair amount of experience in relation to Cctv cameras and systems wired and a number of wired Wifi cameras connected to Nvrs or standalone. So I consider I have a reasonable knowledge and judgement on build and picture quality, low light performance and usability etc. I saw this camera was available and requested it.

    Short summary:

    PROS:
ONVIF Compatible via using the IP address
    Very Small foot-print
    Excellent 1080P HD picture quality
Pan & Tilt works Ok (with a caveat)
SD card can be used rather than paying for cloud service
You don’t keep getting badgered to sign up to cloud service
    Wifi connection is very stable
    Phone App works ok
    Decent Night vision.

    CONS:
NOT ZOOM that is merely achieved by pinching phone screen
Set up on the phone was convoluted and clunky
Pan & Tilt via the app works the wrong way to my gestures!
Infrared can attract flies/small bugs in summer( but that is a general issue with all cameras)

    Full summary:

It arrived in a nice presented box with manual, screw-on half twist mount ( for ceiling mounting) screws & wall plugs, a decent length Usb power lead (2 metres) with 3 pin plug adaptor.

It’s very small, much smaller than I expected the head tilts on a pivot for up and down movement and the top swivels for a 350 horizontal movement and 100 vertical. This is electrically either automatically via the “active track” option or by using the app and swiping left or right /Up or down ( more of that later).

It is described as PTZ but the zoom IS NOT true Zoom, it is done by pinching the camera screen to enlarge the image so that is misleading !

Looking at the camera the main camera appears to made plastic and has a decent feel t to it. It stands steadily on its base but there is an option to ceiling mount it with the half turn attachment that can be screwed into place with the 2 provided screws. I chose to just mount it on its base on a unit.

I downloaded the ‘MIPC” app onto my phone and registered.

When turning on the camera it plays a loud ship “sonar” sound. I then followed the simple “Add” instruction, linked it to my wifi , then I had to hold the speaker near the camera while it played an annoying electronic code for at least 2 minutes until the camera voice said “connecting to router” then “connecting to Network” . Camera ready.”

I found it rather clunky I much prefer the quick QR code held at the camera. This is a fairly old set up routine and not that user friendly in my opinion, so I hope they can update it to the simple QR code method !

The App works OK it has “Device list ” on the first page with a live view of the camera.

Once this is selected you can select various icons. .Video (to record) Camera (for a snap) Mic ( to talk Through) Alarm (to sound an alarm via the speaker).

There is also a tab for SD card where you can view the thumb-nails of recorded video. You can also turn the sound off and on, show full screen or adjust the image etc.

At the top right hand there is a calendar icon to page through different days of recorded video.

Then there is the “settings tab” where its possible to select and adjust various settings: Date/Time, Reset,Password, Notifications, Record,Record Box (if you have a recording device attached to your router), Flip image (ceiling mounting) , Motion Detection, Alexa etc

I found the app fairly intuitive but its definitely clunkier than some I’ve used, but to be fair it does do the job.

You can share the app and camera footage with other family members using the share icon which generates a QR code for them to scan. (also under settings)

The picture image of the HD 1080p and although not 2k or 4k is surprisingly clear and sharp. Far better than I anticipated. So a thumbs up there.

To use the PTZ functions I found I had to swipe the phone screen, unfortunately it seems to go the opposite way to where it should ie down for up, left swipe to go right!
I can’t yet work out how to change the orientation! It would have been much better to use the toggle arrows control to carry out that function. Not very intuitive in my opinion.

Alarm via motion and Or sound worked well. It sent motion detection messages to my phone without issue but it just sends an alert to the phone. I then have to go onto live view or calendar to view what set it off. I could not fine a means to be emailed the “snap shots’ of what set it off immediately like some apps are able to.

I didn’t want to pay for the cloud service which is optional and to be fair does not keep prompting you like some !

I prefer to use a local SD card so I fitted a 64 gigabyte micro-Sd card. which is accessed on the top dome next to the reset button.

I must admit it was a bit of a faff getting it in straight away as even use using my nails it would not lock onto it. In the end I used a paper clip to push it right down in the slot until it engaged.

I then needed to restart the camera until I heard the loud “sonar” sound at which point it did recognise the card correctly.

The unit uses H264 compression for recording, slightly older compression technology but works fine in keeping the file sizes down.

I couldn’t find any setting to select ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum Protocol) HOWEVER
I was able to use the IP address and configure it with my NVR ( Network video recorder) as Onvif (with 80 set as the management portal) and I was basically able to view and record the camera on the NVR (this is what my home Cctv system is connected to). So that is a big bonus from my perspective.

So again I have viewing and recording access to the camera on the NVR hard drive and standalone app without the need for the SD card or the Mipc app if I choose to.

So I didn’t actually need the SD card in the end but left it anyway so I could test out the app for the purposes of this review.

I did also manage to view the menu system via internet explorer by typing in the cameras IP address and typing in the password ( this can be found under the Wifi icon on the settings page of the app)

I was able to view all the menu settings and change them but wasn’t able to view the footage and I couldn’t see an option to download a patch for that purpose unfortunately.

I have to say the Wifi connection has been rock solid since I connected up in my bedroom. It’s quite a long way from my router downstairs in the lounge. I have not had one drop-out or ” lost connection” since I set it up which is commendable.

I have also hung it upside down I then flipped the image in the settings in app it flipped the image with no issues at all. So should be no problem mounting it up on a ceiling etc.

The inbuilt microphone works fairly well the audio does get a bit distorted at high volume, but is clear. The speaker worked fine in a test as well, plenty clear enough .

I have linked it with Alexa successfully but don’t have any visual device so. Afoot point really , but it did recognise the camera and link and I was able to add the Mipc skills .

Despite it having a very small infrared lens the “night vision” worked really well images were clear although probably not as well contrasted as some but adequate.

The “Active Tracking” motion detection worked well and the turret turns and follows the subject, such as person Cat / dog etc. It worked well

During the summer the infrared can attract flying insects , but I can negate that somewhat by altering the motion detection sensitivity in the app. Although with the size of this one I’m not sure that would actually be a problem.

In summary: It’s a bit of a mixed bag really. It is a nice very compact little camera . I am happy with the performance and particularly video quality it, but I feel the app is clunky and not very intuitive and polished as some competitors.
I don’t like the need to swipe to use the PTZ, although I thought the active tracker function worked well.

At the price (49. 99 at the time of the review ) it’s pretty expensive compared to some but it does have the PT (Pan tilt functions and “Active tracking” , although Not the zoom as mentioned. So loses a star.

Being able to link it to my NVR is a big bonus for me plus the PT(z) functionality, so would be on my short list for a small Ptz camera.

Great Little Camera -But Pan & Tilt Only Not Zoom

I am highly impressed with this camera that I got. It was super easy to install and set up. It comes with a variety of different features. I can now keep an eye on my toddler, my dog, and my house with this camera. Moreover, it comes with a two-way microphone, night vision, and an SD card. I can now hear what my kid is up to without checking on him again and again. The camera works well with Alexa. All I had to do was to install the MIPC app and the camera was ready to use. Highly recommend.

I Installed this camera in my living room, instead of my old one. The one I had was almost the same as this one, but the view wasn’t very clear and it was a bit slow. This, on the other hand, has a clear view, is not slow and very easy to use. The sound quality is good, can control it through the app, is not huge so not that visible especially in the white background. Night vision also works very well, it gives you quite a good view too. For recordings, you need an SD card which is sadly not provided so you will have to order it separately. As for the price, at the moment it comes with a voucher, which gives you a price of 27 which is great value for money, but originally it is priced at 50 so I would say it is a bit expensive in my opinion.

I’ve been indoor security camera for some time. Ok — it’s called a “Pet” camera. It’s a security camera under a different name. I found it easy to set up though it took an eternity to connect to the router then suddenly POW! It was connected! It’s easy enough to use and I set it up on my iPhone and iPad. Obviously there’s a time lag between anything happening and it appearing on the screen and also if you swipe the screen to move the camera there’s a lag. It all works perfectly except for a couple of issues.

    1. I can’t get the alarm bit to work. We have it set up in the conservatory looking at the door from the garden. If I walk out into the conservatory the camera follows me round. I get a buzz on the phone but no sound and I want a beeping noise. I’ve been through all the phone settings and I’m not exactly a techno dinosaur but I just can’t see what’s wrong.

    2. Going on from that, when I leave the conservatory and step back into the front room the camera follows me then obviously stops. It’s now pointing at the front room door and I wanting it pointing at the door to the garden, so I have to open the app and manually move the camera back. I really want a default position it returns to after I’ve gone. How do I do that?

For these two reasons I’ve given it four stars instead of five. However, if I find a solution I’ll change this.

This camera works great for me. When Im gone it will watch my living room and notify me on my phone should anyone enter my home. Good picture quality with 1080HD and good sound. You can be out of the house and still carry on a conversation with anyone in the room with the camera, what I most like about this you get alarm message and 10s video if there is any movement or baby crying I would say it’s perfect as baby monitor. It will record to your device on on a SD card or to a cloud. This camera gives me the flexibility to rotate the camera thus providing coverage on living room. The picture is clear and I am able to zoom in when needed.

For the price of 42.49 this is a decent pet camera. Inside the box you get the camera device, plug and USB power cable and plug. I don’t think it is just limited to dogs, you could use for babies’ room or even just to check out your house when at work for peace of mind if you wish.
You need to download the app MIPC, connect device and you will hear a drip sound, to be honest this is quite annoying when you are trying to connect as does this continuously. You need to scan the QR code at base of monitor to connect to system. It works of your Wi-Fi so will need to connect with password. You will then need to show the QR code that is on your phone to camera to connect both. The app will talk you through most of the settings with ease.
It works well, I was able to view my pets, listen to what was going on and hold the microphone button to talk to them. In case you are wondering, my family were also in the other room, so I was able to hear them and talk to them. My sister said it was ok the sound from camera monitor, it was a bit crackly but you could hear.
The dogs could hear my voice but couldn’t work out where it was coming from. Teddy did knock it over at one point so you may need to consider where you place it and secure.
I could also take screenshots with my phone; however, you can sign up to a cloud service to access the camera photos and films which costs additional money or you can insert an SD card if you wish. You can still use the camera without these options but you will only see what is happening at time and have no recordings.
The camera can be moved on the mount by opening the app and moving your finger across the screen on phone, it is a little delayed so take it easy otherwise you will be past what you wanted to see.
The pictures are pretty clear and you can see what is happening, for the price I’m impressed. You can adjust settings in the app and it can detect motion or sound and send a message to you.
I went to work the next day and was able to check in on my dogs and the app worked well. I could see them and what they were up to.
My sister also turned the light of so I could see if it worked with the night vision and again I could see the dogs clearly and even Buster rolling around on the chair when he heard me.
Overall a budget camera that performs well, great device and simple to use.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFirstly I want to address the hidden costs.
Much better than other offerings, you do have the option to only use local storage – an SD card – as well as Cloud. But you will need to purchase a decent SD card in addition to the camera for that. Otherwise, you are looking at 3 a month or 25 a year for the cheapest Cloud storage. Again, not bad compared to others.

Now, for the great things about this camera.

I love the ease of installing it. Took all of 2 minutes from plugging in to viewing the images on my phone.
The image quality is fantastic. Both day and night are high definition on my phone, I can see every detail in my room.
The camera is responsive to my commands through the app. No delays or overshoots.
The detections offered are way ahead of the competition. I have a 250 system in my home that does not offer Human Detection! And they all work as you would want. I threw a football across the room under Human Detection, no trigger. I walked in to get the ball, trigger. You simply cannot fault it.
At 42.49 on Prime currently, this is a little pricier then the competition. But to be brutally honest, this camera is well worth that little extra.

Even with the frustrating hidden costs, this is still easily a 5* product.

This pet camera is great I’m actually really impressed with it.

It was very easy to set up I simply scanned the QR code and downloaded the app. It took less than five minutes to set up an account in the app and I was able to connect to the camera on my wifi.

The images are crystal clear and coloured in good light, it’s very easy to navigate the camera by using your phones touch screen and pulling the camera where you want it to go. At night it’s black and white but I can still see my dog sleeping in her bed no problem. I’ve included some images from the app in my photos.

I think that this camera has multiple uses, security, pets or even as a baby monitor. It’s small and very professional looking so doesn’t stand out in your home, you also can’t hear it move which is great for sleeping pets/child.

At 42.49 (November ’21) and currently with an amazing 22 off voucher I’d honestly snap this up while you can, I might even get a second one. It’s well worth it!

Great camera at a bargain price. ⭐️

This camera comes in a box with instructions on how to install and set up, with power cable.

The camera itself is sleek and white with black in the middle. It’s on a roller call so it can be easily rotated.

The camera is quick and easy to set up even if you are not a very technical person. There is a step by step guide in the instruction booklet which all you have to do is connect the cables and just download the app. You then need to use your smartphone to scan the QR barcode so it can register the camera with your phone. Once set up it can be controlled from your phone and the camera can be moved around the room.

Takes a few minutes to install but it is very simple. I had no problems.

The camera also has audio so you can listen as well.

This is good for your home for example a baby bedroom, pet monitor or just generally around your house if you are not in. You can feel safe with this camera as you can check in at any time.

It’s a great product and good quality for the price.

It’s good how there is a SD card slot so you can have this to record for motion detection for security purposes and there are connections to connect to your alarm system to trigger when motions are detected.

Overall a very good IP camera compared to other products and works really well and the material is very smooth and strong for long lasting and the quality is very good.

This camera is great for large areas where you might want to be able to pan and tilt the camera remotely, the app to do that was quite responsive and the fact it can be used with Alexa as well is great.
The 1080p picture quality is good especially in good light while the night mode isn’t bad, but the picture quality does become a little grainy.
It has a wall mount and screws which it just twist locks onto so it’s easy to put up and take down but be aware if you do put it up that you will need to allow for the power cable and its only about 2m long, also it is the older style micro-usb cable and port in the camera which would be better if it was the modern more universal USB-C port.
Overall, at 49.99 I think it’s a good camera with lots of useful features and therefore not bad value but it does come up on deals so what out for that to make it a great value for money.

This is a small, neat wireless camera. It charges via a usb cable that is supplied.

To set up the camera you download their MIPC app and follow the simple instructions. The camera itself speaks to prompt you. This set up took just a few minutes (most of that was downloading the app). It connected quickly on the first attempt.

The camera angle is adjustable and the picture quality is very good. Sharp and clear with 2080p resolution. I am very impressed. The motion detection is very responsive, it caught my cat as he walked into the room.

To store video you will need to pop in an sd card, it can be used without a card but will only store static images which you can view in the app.

This camera is unobtrusive and can be fixed where you want and it has two way audio so you can speak to your pet (or anyone else in the room) and it will give an alert too. The camera also has night vision which again is surprisingly good.

The camera is great for home security, a baby monitor, a pet monitor or even keeping an eye on elderly parents.

Overall this little camera works perfectly with sharp clear images and accurate motion detection.m simple to set up and operate. I’m very impressed by it and can recommend it without any reservation.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAt the price this camera as advertised for, I did not have the greatest of expectations about the quality of it but wow! it is absolutely unbelievable for the price. I have a range of cameras around the house and gardens, some of which have cost an absolute fortune, but this little Winees camera is as good as any of them. In fact, it is better because not only is the image quality really crisp and clear, you also have the added advantage of being able to pan and tilt the camera remotely from within the app on your phone.

Set up was an absolute breeze (to connect to your wireless network you will need to have a 2.4ghz connection avaliable as it is not compatible with 5ghz wifi.). Setup took literally minutes to do through my mobile phone. You will have to download the free MIPC app and then create an account with them. After that, it’s just a matter of entering your network connectino details and it was done.

The camera comes with a small circular bracket and screws/plugs so you can mount the base where you need to and then the camera just twist locks into place on the base.

Connection to the mains is via the supplied UK plug and a micro USB cable (also supplied). No big deal about it being micro USB especially as the lead is supplied but I would have preferred USB-C which is far newer and useful (as I have a lot of those cables for phone charging etc).

I really can not fault this little camera. I am astounded at how good it is for the money. I’d have no hesitation in buying another should I need to.

What makes it better still is the ease of set up. OK, you need to read the manual, but if you follow it you can be up and running in 30 minutes. There are QR codes to help you.

There are extra features, such as an SD card slot. It will sit on any flat surface, plus the option to fix a bayonet plate for wall or more permanent fitting.

    Definitely 5 stars

Excellent remote camera, easy to set up

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI needed to update our security camera for inside the house, this one fits the bill in every way, for a start it’s half the size of the one we have, so it’s less obvious, I would have liked it to have been black though, but this is a small point.
It comes with a plug, usb lead and wall mouthing kit, but no micro SD card, so you will need to order this separately, if you wish to record your footage.
Please be aware that you may have to turn off your 5gHz Wi-Fi, as this sometimes will only install onto a 2.4gHz Wi-Fi setup alone. You can always switch the 5gHz back on after it has installed onto your network.
I already have the MIPC app installed on my phone and Alexa, so adding an extra camera was simple to do. The app and Alexa is quick to respond to my commands, and I like how this camera can track movements, where my old one didn’t, I had to manually move it. The sound quality is very clear, and that’s both ways, I still scare my young grandson when he visits and I’m not in, by asking him what he’s doing in the house?
Slot an SD Card into the slot, before you switch on the camera and it will save any alerts that it captures, make sure you go into settings to switch on record. It will take up to a 512GB
The instructions are easy to read and following them is pretty straightforward.

Good quality all round and easy to set up

Still haven’t figured out how to get notifications bur I suspect it’s because i didn’t get an SD card bue Still great to spy on the kitties. And you can talk through it which totally freaked them out.
