WORX WG543E 18V (20V MAX) LEAFJET Cordless Garden Leaf Blowe
WORX 20V Leaf Blower for Garden – WG543E
1 Battery and 1 Charger, PowerShare, 2 Speed, Variable Air Control
The Worx WG543E 20V LeafJet Blower weighs only 1.7kg, but spins out 209km/h of airspeed, super powerful. So you get a stream that is forceful and wide. Worx engineering can take a victory lap with this one.
It’s slimmer, easier to operate, more efficient than most leaf blowers on the market, and still churns out enough power to clean larger lawns.
Sonic Turbine Tech is the main innovation driving all this power out of such a compact design. Air Amplifier Tech draws more air into the turbine than ever before, allowing it to push more and faster air out the other side.
What’s more, this tool runs on a brushless motor, which is more efficient than the standard motors in leaf blowers from just a few years ago. They use less battery while providing even more power, and have a longer runtime. Plus, they extend the life of the blower overall.
Additionally, because this tool is lightweight, you’ll get more done in less time because it’s so simple to blow your lawn clear of leaves of debris. Now nearly anyone in the family can help out with the chores.
This Worx Power Share 20V LeafJet Blower comes with a 4.0Ah battery and a 2-Amp charger. That’s plenty of power to take a spin around a decent-sized lawn. And this battery runs every tool on the Worx PowerShare platform, so you can grow your collection without always having to pay for another battery or charger.

This is a cordless leaf blower powered by a 20V lithium-ion battery and the battery forms part of the Worx PowerShare battery system and can be used in any other 18V (20V max) tool.
It weighs a lightweight 1.7kg, including the battery, and comes with a three-year guarantee. Considering its compact size, it is an effective leaf blower, which delivered great results.
It’s easy to control the direction of the leaves, although it would benefit from a little more power when blowing large clumps, or past obstacles you may find in your garden.
It has an adjustable nozzle, which can be moved up and down the shaft of the blower. This allows you to put the concentrated nozzle on when you need to deal with jobs that require greater control.
As it’s such a compact tool, it’s ready to use straight out of the box without requiring any assembly.
It’s lightweight and well balanced, making it comfortable to use. It has a simple, easy-to-use power dial, with two speed settings to choose from.
While the vibrations in use were barely noticeable, it does have a slightly whiny sound that you may find irritating. The 4Ah battery lasts 14 minutes when fully charged, which should be just enough time for the jobs around your garden. However, you’ll be waiting two hours to recharge it if you run out halfway through.
For a lightweight leaf blower, it packs a punch in terms of power and is easy and comfortable to use. Don’t be fooled by the compact size and light weight of this cordless leaf blower — it’s powerful enough to deliver great results. It’s comfortable and easy to use.
Having already bought (and been very pleased with a WORX Multi Tool Lawn Edger/Strimmer) … we firstly considered this W543E blower since it uses batteries common to the range. We only wanted a small blower for convenient occasional use just to clear leaves from a Garage and a Front Porch areas. We chose the W543E because it appeared to be light and convenient to store and use. It appears to be well designed, robust and well made. The On/Off switch on the handle incorporates a variable speed motor control, also the Front Nozzle assembly can be repositioned so that the air stream can be adjusted between a spread and a concentrated pattern.
The machine is capable of producing a remarkably powerful air blast. As reported by others in their reviews, it appears to be a more capable machine than you would expect from its size and weight !! Whilst clearly not suitable for serious autumnal garden leaf clearing, it appears more than adequate for our intended usage and convenient for the occasional driveway/frontage and clippings tidy ups…. We are confident it operates long enough on a charge on a 2Ahr battery for our purposes, so we have no experience to be able to comment on its ultimate duration. So far we are
extremely pleased with the purchase, very much recommended ……..
I’ve been through a lot of these leaf blowers, and this is by far the best yet – easy to use, long lasting battery life (although I did buy a second one) and light… it’s very light. It is ideal for our garden (small, a lot of leaves all year round, artificial grass). And I really like the idea of interchangeable batteries, just a shame Worx don’t seem to make a weeder for driveways/patios.
I’m delighted with this leaf blower. Live in a very leafy area and keeping my front path and garden patios is hard work. Not anymore. This lightweight blower is light, easy to manoeuvre, charges quickly and is easy to store. It’s powerful and makes getting rid of the constant leaf fall and debris accumulating, because of the wet summer, easy.
I’m really pleased I purchased this . I’m not one to write reviews but felt compelled this time. I love it.
Excellent, not going to lie I actually purchased this primarily to blast water from the crevices of my car after cleaning… the neighbours think I’m nuts but it works.
But I’ve also found it just useful for blowing sawdust/dust out of my shed, and what’s even more surprisinging I’ve actually used it for clearing autumn leaves off the lawn and a some dirt/wreckage from gardening in general it has a pretty good power to it.
I’m sure there’s bigger beasts for cleaning up the forestry section of your estate, but typical home use this does the jobs i want nicely and it has actually just been really useful to have around & its compact enough not be in the way, very glad I bought it.
This replaced a Bosch blower which had become increasingly unreliable over a few years, finally refusing to start at all. We’d also had a Bosch vacuum for which the battery had given up after a fairly short life, so I was looking elsewhere. As I already had a few Worx tools and a couple of batteries for them I decided to continue with this family.
What a revelation! This blower has more poke on low power than the single speed Bosch had and it’s more comfortable to use. The batteries last well too even though they are the small ones. I have a battery hedge trimmer too and both have done what I want each time without needing to swap batteries, though obviously YMMV.
My only minor criticisms are that it’s rather easy to go straight to level 2 power and to push the large tube right off when changing to volume mode. You soon learn to be a bit careful, so not a big deal – just be aware.
Really strong blower with a decent battery life. Makes gardening much easie
Lightweight. Well balanced. Easy to use. Force of blow can be altered using the extension tube and 2 speed.
Lightweight easy to use and it works great but don’t get a small battery u have to get the biggest u can as it eats through them I brought two large capacity one.. Also it is great for drying your car after washing it so you don’t have to use a leather and as you don’t touch the bodywork no small scratches
Very lightweight and powerful. Rather surprised me. Even moved wet leaves.
Only downside is that the battery doesnt last long so better if you have a second battery.
Battery is interchangeable with my WORX edger, which came with 2 x 2.5Ah batteries. Working time with this battery is very short so I bought two 4Ah batteries, which give a more satisfactory working time.
Apart from that, it fulfills all the advertised qualities – lightweight, powerful & versatile.
Hi, constant problem with leaves gathering at the front of my house, and on the rear decking. Due to living in ‘Wet Wales’ these leaves are usually wet and clumped. I was therefore worried if this blower would shift them. Absolutely no problem as it turns out 🙂 Shifts them all with ease. Have to be careful on level 2 power not to accidently blow the soil out of my plant pots out the front! Great product; a battery lasts around 10 mins in general use but I have 4 batteries due to other Worx tools and so not a problem, and 10 mins is enough to shift them all anyhow.
Thank god no more extension leads to pull you up sho
Very powerful, works great, lost one star for battery life, which is 15/20 minutes on high
A neat and quick blower, ideal for our small decking area and garde
I’ve had leaf blowers in the past but for size and weight by far the best I’ve owned cleats the pathway of damp leaves quickly and efficiently battery lasts quite a long time I’ve used mine 20 odd times and still no reason for recharging
Arrived really fast, does the job very well, very sturdy piece of ki
Excellent product does what it says and so easy to use
After reviewing many leafblowers i purchased the Workx. Excellent ! Powerfull enough to clear all of my wet leaves, lightweight and i cannot fault. Although not cheap with the battery you get what you pay for. Compared to my previous blower the power is chalk and cheese … dont waste time chekin other reviews, this blower is very powerfull and does the job !
Had a wired one. So inconvenient. This Worx cordless leaf blower is fantastic. It whines quietly. It blasts even wet leaves off concrete. Less effective on grass. It gulps through the battery but a 4.0ah battery is sufficient for over 10 minutes continuous operation. The machine is very light without the battery and well balanced with a 2.0ah or 4.0ah battery attached. I wouldn’t worry that it can’t vacuum up leaves. Blow them into piles and pick them up manually if you can’t leave them. Leaf vacuums are messy and clog up when wet.
As a professional gardener, this is the 4th Worx leaf blower I have added to the toolkit since going ‘electric’ i.e battery only ditching the excellent 2 stroke Stihl units as they were too heavy and noisy. Provided the battery is charged this starts first time, is lightweight and for light leaf cover on lawns and hard ground is ideal. Struggled with a heavy covering of wet leaves, but we have the larger twin battery units for that. I can get round shrubs in a garden without getting caught up. I still wear ear defenders with these battery powered units as they are loud enough to do damage with extensive and long term use.
Great bit of kit to blow away leaves or grass with, but it’s pretty pricey given that it doesn’t come with the battery pack. If you plan on buying an additional battery pack, it costs quite a lot!
Very powerful blower indeed, brilliant at blowing loose chippings off driveway and grass cuttings off patio. Lasts about 20mins on a fully charged 20v powershare battery. Nice bit of kit. Would recommend.
This is such a powerful unit for such a lightweight and easy to hold item. I am very happy to let the Council have their leaves back on a regular basis.
Awesome bit of kit for its price.
Very light, very quiet and it’s got good battery life I bought this for 56 no battery included because I already have 4 batteries
Let’s get one thing right it’s not like a petrol one, for general blowing grass off a path after strimming and dry leaves it’s really good, wet heavy big piles it’s not going to do much you need petrol
Practical bit of kit. I have other worx equipment with plenty of batteries. Good addition to my worx battery strimmer.
This product is exactly what I was looking for, lightweight and great blowing power even with wet leaves. The battery supplied only lasts a maximum 15-20 minutes on the highest blowing setting and the price of another Worx battery the same as supplied is expensive.
The only thing I have found is a bit tricky is getting the battery out the machine with small hands.
Update. The product is exactly a year old but the battery supplied has started to last less than before. Not sure if it’s this battery or applies to all of them.
No real issues with this leaf blower, cleared my drive easily and it’s really light and compact. Takes a bit longer than a petrol or corded version but for the money it’s really good value especially if you already have batteries. Would recommend you use it with a 5mAh battery as it only lasts about 10 mins on maximum with a 2mAh one.
I looked through the list of Worx leaf blowers and most look like your average no-thought-gone-into-it giant hairdryers (never bother with a sucker/mulcher machine – I have had Makita and Stihl versions and it just doesn’t work. Bag gets too heavy, too soggy, the machines clog up etc. Rake up the bulk, blow the remainder) but this one looked like a clever person had rethought the whole issue. I was not wrong.
Took a bit of a punt – no Worx tools are overpriced but this could have been a dung-beetle – and I am really impressed. Not far off as powerful as the petrol powered Makita and Stihl blowers when in blow mode. Honestly. But a thousand percent easier to start. No warm up time required, quite loud but nothing compared to the petrol machines (my Makita is a four-stroke but as noisy as the Stihl two-stroke)
Super light, so quick to get going, 4 amp battery will keep it going for ages. I haven’t timed it but I get everything done in a garden roughly 1/3 of an acre without it even starting to sound tired. It has an extendable nozzle that is supposed to increase the volume of air moved but I have stopped fiddling with that and just use it in it’s initial max velocity mode as it simply clears everything. Hedge clippings, fallen leaves, grass debris on the mower/ paths after strimming etc – no problem. Obviously if you are used to something like a Stihl BR700 this will seem a little underpowered but unless you need to flip cars and deafen your neighbours in the process this little machine will do the sweeping up better than any broom you have ever owned.
Very effective on clearing our large patio/courtyard of leaves/detritus etc. Also quick and does the job in 5-10 mins! Some reveiws complain that it drains the battery quickly. This is true but it is very powerful (particularly on the high setting) so will drain quickly, so it’s a good idea to have a spare battery to hand. Also it is very light to carry and easy to use (as opposed to our old mains connected leaf blower which is very cumbersome and heavy). A good investment.
This is a genuinely very powerful blower that easily deals with dry and damp leaves, even on its lower setting. That’s pretty good considering its feather-weight small size and that it runs of a single 20v battery. In fact, er, wow! We also have a Bosch 36v blower which we have bought for our son and his wife. This is decidedly the more powerful of the two but, it must be said, it won’t win any beauty competitions, whereas the Bosch is a beautifully designed item.
My cousin has the more expensive and much larger Worx WG584E 40v twin battery blower, which I nearly bought as it blows like a tornado, but it is far more expensive and, on full power, the batteries last under fifteen minutes. It’s horses for courses with these things, but any one of those three won’t disappoint if you want a powerful leaf blower. While the Bosch is the least powerful, it is so cleverly designed that the force of air still does the job entirely well.
Nice lightweight easy to use tool . I found it very powerful cleared my drive of leaves, berries etc no problem.
For the size and weight the performance is very effective. I have a large patio area that goes all around the house and trying to sweep it to keep leaves off is a real task. I went round with the Worx blower and cleared it in no time.
Of course, the leaves have to go somewhere so it is a bit of a quick fix only job.
Very easy to use and one handed operation is a big bonus when you are getting on a bit in years…
