Great product. Accurate within about 1 yard from what I can tell (the yardage sometimes fluctuates 1 yard or less on the readout). In 2 years, I’ve needed 1 new battery after about 60 rounds. Vey happy with it. May get another one for my son next!

It is never easy to admit that as we age some things just get a bit more difficult to manage.
This has happened for both my wife and I with our current golf range finders. Truth is we cannot seem to steady them as we once did. We needed something that could pick up the pin easier and give us a sensory signal that we hit our target. This range finder accomplished both. Other name brands were in the $600-800 range so I was a bit skeptical that a device around $150. could perform like a premium brand. We couldn’t be more pleased with the performance and would highly recommend this product. No doubt there will be a review where a buyer gets a non working one but both our units are working well.

This is a great range finder – and totally worth getting if you’re a mid to high handicapper. The ability to get a distance to the flag with the slope taken into account saves many shots.
Is it the best rangefinder out there – almost certainly not but it’s less than half the price, and unless you are a good enough golf player to be able to hit to exact distances rather than with a few yards short or long – in which case you’re probably have a caddy anyway! – it more than suffices.

No complaints about the rangefinder. It locks onto the target fairly easily and provides some useful information.

The supplied battery only lasted 3 months. Hopefully the replacement lasts much longer.

Overall good value for the money. Compared to more expensive bushnell. All the positives are right on. Ease of use. Easy to lock the distance even with my shaky hands. My only two issues are 1) The distance fluctuates within a couple of yards measuring from the same point. Not a deal breaker for me as I am not that good. 2) It did not work when it was just a bit foggy and misty by the coast.

I’ve been using this as both a rangefinder when bench shooting and also while golfing. Works very well and I’ve had zero issues. The range finder struggles past 500 meters or so, but up to that it’s been great.

This rangefinder for the money is very worthwhile and has many features of more expensive brands. The rangefinder is accurate and you can turn off the slope feature to make them legal during competition. Would definitely recommend for anyone who doesn’t want to break the bank for an accurate rangefinder.

Likes – lightweight, looks, ease of use, big buttons, clear display, quick reading and accuracy.
Dislikes – plasticky, a little large, thin pouch material.

The various modes are easy to change with just a touch of a button, as is the battery compartment location, and lens adjustment. A very intuitive and user-friendly range finder that is as accurate and fast as more expensive and well known brands out there. Only gripe I have it does not feel as premium in your hands but it gets the job done and I hope it’ll last.

This unit is easy to use and very accurate. On my recent trip to Arizona, i used it for the first time. Worked great and distances matched my playing partners top brand models on the nose. The slope feature was much easy to read than those expensive brands, where i had to share my distances. Buy this unit and use the extra cash for a club or clothes.

Range finder works perfectly! How do I know? We were playing the 7th hole at Elmwood Park Golf Course in Omaha, NE. the hole is a par 4 measuring approx 315yds from the back tees and fairway slopes down hill. My son Luke shot the distance with the range finder, including slope yardage, he came up with 240 yards. He asked me which club to hit, I said ” Hit your 5 wood, or you’ll be over the green” He teed it up and hit his 5 wood within a few feet of the pin then sunk his putt for Eagle.

Not had it for long, but so far found it very good considering this is a budget range finder compared to other brands. It might not be the nicest design but I bought this to tell me the distance to the flag and various hazards, not to win fashion week. Reliability might be an issue but not owned for long enough (2 months), but no glitches or concerns so far and battery life looks strong. Does what it says on the tin!

I’ve had this over a year and it has been great and gives similar accurate numbers to other devices when compared side by side. It seems to always show an inaccurate distance when there’s a slight amount of mist of fog in the air. It will only say something like 8.9yards for things locked on 200 yards away. Weird. But it does work well.

If you want accuracy, ease of use and light weight this is the product for you. I have an older rangefinder (20 years) and this is light years ahead of it. It is smaller and acquirers the flag quicker than the older rangefinder and is able to capture the flag even with a cluttered background where the older model has trouble. Love mode 2 as you do not have to hold the flag steady in the retticle to get a reading, the device is able to acquire the flag all by itself and then gives a little vibration when it has determined the distance. How easy it that. A great little rangefinder at a very good price. I have recommended it to a friend who has since purchased one and they are happy with it also.

I use this for seeking yardage for golf. It is very easy to use and very accurate. It picks up on the pin very fast and you can set it up for the slope and vibrate when you hit your target. The only negative aspect of the range finder is how the heck do you put the strap into the very small hole to loop it around. There must be a better and more user-friendly way to set this up. I have used the range finder for a few rounds now and quite a bit at the local driving range to get used to how it functions. I am very happy with my purchase. I used this along side a friends much higher priced name brand and this unit is just as accurate, lighter and easier to lock onto the flag. The one thing that can be a bit confusing is a couple of times I noticed the indicated yardage was off. This was due to the mode for meters being selected without my knowledge. Its clearing marked but I just missed it. Operator error. As soon as i choose the correct mode (yards) it was spot on. Do not hesitate to buy this.

I’m new to golf, so knowing the exact distance won’t do me a world of good if I can’t properly place it there. Therefore, if this thing is off by even ten yards, I don’t really care. And I’m not saying it is off by that much, I honestly don’t know how accurate it is other than it was within a yard or two of what my buddy’s range finder was saying (I don’t know what kind he had.) I just need to know roughly how far the tee is and this does the job. It looks good, seems built pretty good and is easy to use. Oh…and affordable!
So if you’re a mid to high handicap golfer, I believe this is more than adequate.

I bought and returned three of these range finders because there is a defect in the glass. When you look through the lens the glass has a flaw in it. I bought the first and returned it. I thought it was only a defective in the one I bought. I received the second and the same problem, a defect in the glass when you try to find a range to the flag pole. I made a complaint to the manufacturer and Amazon. I returned it and was sent yet another brand new range finder. Guess what? The third one I received had the same problem. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. I decided to try this model, after researching, and looking for a golf range finder that had slope, and wasn’t too awfully expensive. This one had pretty good reviews. First of all, it was shipped rapidly, arrived in 3 days.
It’s small, light weight, included the battery, a case and a carry strap. The “lock on” indicator is a plus, as my old range finder didn’t have that, and sometimes, I had to wait, and hold really still, until I was sure I was measuring the right object. The distances appear to be just as accurate as my oldy, but goody, which was a good, name brand model, but just didn’t have slope. This was a super buy, as it included a $20 off coupon when I bought it.

This product works great and does the job just as well if not better than any of the higher priced rangefinders. It is easy to use and fits well in your hand. The device measurements are very accurate and I like the way it vibrates to let you know it has locked onto the pin. A nice case with a magnetic clasp and lanyard come with product. I testify the accuracy and consistency on this range finder. At the point when i was about to make decision to purchase competing product, TecTecTec, i was glad i made decision to keep Wosports Range Finder. Out of 10 clicks on the target flag, i consistenty gets +- 1 meter variance. TecTecTec has high margin of error sporadically capturing backgorund distance instead.

First – the product. Compared accuracy multiple times against big brand names as well as against cart GPS. Dead on accurate. Has 4 different modes. I use it for golf pin seeking only and occasional scan, but it is good to know that there are extras. You can adjust diopter for your vision. I have a pretty bad vision and wear the contact lenses and this helps. Very easy to lock in the pin even with shaky hands. I had a rangefinder before and I had to return it because it could not lock in the target. Find the pin in crosshairs, the rangefinder locks it in and vibrates. Easy as that. Slope compensation comes handy. I find it extremely useful on the golf course and use it even with GPS enabled golf carts. Then, the company. Great customer service. The company stands by its product. I had a minor issue which was resolved promptly with no questions asked. I use and highly recommend this product.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersI was trying to choose between Bushnell Tour V4 (basic expensive model) or some less costly model (with more features like decent user interface, slope and scan modes). Based on on-line reviews of many rangefinders and particularly one on youtube by Mike Sullivan, I went with WOSports 650 with slope feature. Amazon because it was not available in stores.

One thing that I was concerned about my shaky hands, whether I needed the best optics (like a Nikon), features (slope, scan) and how much that I would actually use it. I wanted one that could give me yardage to bunkers and other hazards rather than just the pin – all the reviews and product sheets were not clear about this.

I also had a chance to try a Bushnell (a xmas gift that I returned).

Seeing how quickly the WOSport was used on youtube in the Mike Sullivan review dispelled many concerns. He was quick using it and he was faster than Bushnell. I bought WOSport 650 form Amazon, I discovered that having a shaky hand is actually good and useful as the pin identification algorithm does a search and reports the nearest target and the shakiness actually creates a variety of targets to search. I also found it to be much faster/better than the Bushnell Tour V4 in locking and jolting in pinseeker mode.

The bushnell had only had pin mode but could give me distances to things other than the pin if I push the button every time but the WOSPort had continuous scan mode which is quicker to use for finding other targets than just the pin.

In terms of user interface, I like the separate mode button that switches from:
    (i) slope-distance/angle mode with continuous scan (I think I will use the most, it finds the pin but without the old),
(ii) pin seeker mode, distance to hazard (non pins) – the only Tour V4 mode,
    (iii) slope mode,
(iv) speed mode – used for hunting.

This simplifies the interface greatly as you don’t have to hold one button down for less than 2 or more than 2 seconds to switch modes/functions – too much skill required.

One thing to note is the cost of CR2 batteries…Duracells were ~12$ each. So, a rechargeable rangefinder or rechargeable batteries might be a considerable here _ I see WOSPorts has a rechargeable one – but I am good with buying/carrying batteries rather than remember to plugin before playing.

In terms of accuracy, it is not a concern in my opinion. As an engineer, I know that this is a simple measurement to make – speed of light is always the same, and GPS timing is the same for everyone. Besides, consistency is more important as you will use the same rangefinder for distance to target and for distance that you a club AND unless the optics are constantly mis-aligning then this will be consistent.

On-line reviews also indicated poor support from Bushnell but excellent support from others for WOSport. The other question that I had was reliability and robustness – but few reviews can address this as they are new and dependent on how we care for the rangefinder.

Simple and fast to use – at any price. I would have paid for Bushnell if I thought it was better.

So I didnt buy this for golf I bought it for sighting in my rifle and bow season . Way cheaper than a designated hunting range finder and it does the same thing . Works great and is accurate . I like that I can lock on the range of a target .

I had the brand leading Bushnell until someone stole mine . Decided to try this out as it is a third of the price and it truly does the job! Although sometimes it takes a while for it to find the pin, it works just fine for the price.

A must have for all golfers. After playing 48 holes of golf over the long weekend, here are my findings:

    * Accurate within 1 yard or less when comparing this to my GPS golf app.
    * Able to lock it into the pin
    * Accounts for angles
    * Great magnification
    * Light and portable (easily fits in pocket)
    * The included case and lanyard are a great touch!
    * Lightweight

As an added note, I’m also looking forward to using this for sighting in my rifle and hunting this fall.

    A must have for golfers

Accurate and so easy to use. What a great unit.
My husband took it to the range to calibrate his clubs. He is much more precise in hitting greens with this one.
He has also discovered that some course posted tee distances aren’t exactly accurate.
    Money well spent.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have never used a laser range finder before so I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to operate. I have only played one game of golf with it but it appeared to be quite accurate including the slope compensation measurement. It doesn’t always pick up on the flag stick so it is important to know roughly what the distance is before accepting the answer. I found that it was best to take 3 or 4 readings on each flag just to be sure it sees the flags and not the front of the green or the trees behind. Overall it is an excellent value (assuming that it lasts for a year or two).

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAfter a recent corporate golf outing, one of the members of our group had a golf rangefinder. I knew about them, but never got to try one until then. Well i was so impressed with it, i wanted one for myself! After looking at the prices in the local Golf specialty shops I was a bit discouraged that most of them started at $300!!! So I looked on Amazon and saw many options for much less. I liked the look of this one, and the price seemed decent, so i thought I would give it a shot.
It arrived nicely packaged, with along with case, instructions and even the battery was included.
Feels very solidly constructed and from my last round of golf, it performs very well. Measurements were spot on. 4 modes to choose from (instructions quite clear on how / which one to use). With only two buttons, very easy to use. I really liked the flag lock feature, it will vibrate slightly when you lock onto the flag!!
Before I took it out to the golf course I played around with it indoors and outside in my backyard (see the pictures showing actual view from the eyepiece).
I also plan to also use it hunting this year, I’m sure it will come in quite useful!
Very happy with this, works just as well as some name branded versions, but priced much better!

Easy to use, accurate, and decent price

I have wanted one of these for such a long time because not every course has the proper yardage. I LOVE IT. This eliminates the question of how far you need to hit the ball and accurately prepares you for more birdies! Very happy.

bought this for myself. coach suggest to having one, light weight, easy to use. Simply just press the button to get the distance to the target. it even can be using it in the gun range. this is the item i search to have a longer range and in lower price. my daughter using it car to check the other’s speed. it can also check the height of the target but never have chance to try it yet.

My dad just started golfing a couple of years ago and he has been wanting to get one of this. He is in his 60’s so I wasn’t sure if it was going to be too complicated or not but after reading other reviews I decided to give it a try. Super simple. You almost don’t need the instruction manual. It is also pretty accurate. Easy to carry around. For a beginner golfer this is a must.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersFriends got me hooked to golfing this summer and was told a rangefinder is a great starter tool to get into more competitive golf. Never would I thought a small like telescope could tell me the distance and speed. Results are not 100% accurate on the dot but gives a pretty precise hypothetical result. It also provides speed velocity so it would work great for horse racing events and hunting. Would definitely recommend to those who enjoy the outdoor activities

Golden Review Award: 24 From Our UsersWent golfing this past weekend to give this a shot and wow is it ever accurate. My friend has a more expensive other model and after comparing, they were 1 yard apart. I think I got the better bang for my buck. Apart from this, the device works very well and vibrates when you lock into the flag making it easy to indicate when it is reading the distance. I love that it adjusts for slope and it comes in a nice bag with a magnetic closure. It fits in hand well and it’s too bulky. By using this alone, I shot my best score this season (4 over Tiger in his prime). All jokes aside, this product works fantastic and compared to others, does the job at a fraction of the price. Highly recommended to the golf enthusiasts out there wanting to up their game.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersBought this golf rangefinder for my best buddy who is very much into golfing. It has helped improve his performance and techniques. He loves the features it offers and was very easy to use. It gives you the range of 650 yard and Locks down the flag for accurate measurement. It is very small and fits in your pocket easily. It can also be use in other games as it is helpful in measuring moving objects. Overall, my buddy is happy and I get to use it too for my game.

Even though you don’t golf everyday this device helps you to make it feel like expert. Best feature is the laser which isn’t like the map rangefinder which is preprogrammed, it can lock the distance and can show it with great accuracy. It works on a battery so one can have extra battery just in case in the middle of game, better then to charge.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWhile the item is advertised for golfing, I purchased this item for use with my archery and gun target practice. I used to have to manually range my targets out using a laser tape measure and would be limited by the feasible distance using this method. This rangefinder has simplified that process immensely and has allowed me to precisely measure the target distances, and even allowed me to put targets at distances I could never imagine without the guesswork.

Using previously measured distances, I found this rangefinder to be accurate within 0.5 meters, and this was tested at 25 meter, 50 meter, and 100 meter ranged targets. The operation of the rangefinder is very simple, and the 6x magnification works great for seeing at the full 650 yards. The rangefinder also has a speed mode which will be very useful on my next hunt. In terms of build quality, the rangefinder has a nice soft rubberized plastic feel and feels durable enough that it should survive a fall without damage. The carrying case has a magnetic cover, and a belt clip for easy transportation. The included battery is a CR2 style cell and replacements can be purchased at any big box store.

Great multipurpose tool, not just for golf!

Lightweight but doesn’t feel cheap. The plastic housing feels soft and pleasent to the touch. Sits fairly well in my hand. The eye piece could’ve been more pronounced for better comfort but it’ll do.

Performance wise, it works quite well. Distances seem to be accurate or nearly accurate. Mode button is handy. Overall perfoms on par with similiar priced or even more expensive products.

    Good purchase

Golden Review Award: 11 From Our UsersUPDATE**** READ BELOW****I bought this to replace a recent Bushnell rangefinder that I left in a cart, after playing a round out of town. I spent about $300 on that range finder and got to use it about 5 times. I’ve always bought Leopold or Bushnell’s in the past and have been happy with the purchases, What I liked on my last purchase was the slope and the pin lock. This time I didn’t feel like dropping another $300 on a range finder, and took a chance on this Wosports range finder. I never heard of the company but the reviews were consistent, so I gave it a try. For the price I figured, I hope for the best and expect the worse. I was pleasantly surprised. I took it to Torrey Pines and was impressed. The accuracy was very good. Compared to my friends Bushnell range finder they were very close in yardage. My past rangefinders needed the flag stick reflectors to get accurate yardage, but didn’t need it with this finder. So, for the negatives….every product has some… compared to the Bushnell, from longer distances 180-250 yards, the Bushnell was easier to use. It picked up the flag much easier. I had to spend more time shooting the flag to get an accurate reading with the Wosports. Also, if there is a hill or bunker in the fairway, the finder will accidentally pick up that point versus the flag. I also found it easier to pick up a person on the green versus the flag from 200 yards and out. Otherwise, this is a great rangefinder for the price. At this price point I wont be so upset if this finder gets lost or stolen. I’ve only used it twice but so fa,r so good. Time will tell if it remains accurate. I will update after a few more rounds if anything changes. I thought an unbiased review from a veteran golfer, that has used many devices in the past, would help many who are on the fence on buying this range finder. Give it a chance at this price. *****UPDATE**** not working as well as when I bought it. I noticed that I was consistently short the last few rounds. Thought it was something with my swing. Turns out the range finder is not working right. It is between 15-20 yards off on its accuracy. I put it up to my friends Bushnell and it was off every time. Also, I tried it against a cart built in range system and it was short every time. Not sure what happened. Its been in the case the entire time and I even changed the battery. Don’t buy. Spend the money for a better range finder.

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersUPDATE AUGUST 2022:
Wosports reached out to me recently to see if they could make right. They sent me a replacement rangefinder for evaluation, marked “WOSPORTS H-100” that I received today. I compared yardages from the H-100 with my trusted Nikon rangefinder and found the distance readings were the same to within one yard for distances between 50 and 200 yards (the farthest I can see down my street). The various modes M1-M4 worked as described in the included user’s manual. I liked the pin-seeking and slant compensation modes very much. No question if you were shooting the flag or something behind it. Living in south Louisiana, not sure how much need of the slant compensation as most golf courses are relatively quite flat.

When I get out to the golf course, I”ll compare them at longer distances and amend this review if I find results that vary from my Nikon. However, based upon the tests I performed ranging up and down my street, including shooting an antenna on top of a tall cell phone tower, I don’t think I’ll find differences.

While I haven’t had it long enough to judge long term durability, I don’t hesitate to value the Wosport H-100 as a good choice for a budget priced golf rangefinder that has most features of rangefinders that cost several hundred dollars more. With Amazon’s and the seller’s return policy, the risk of trying this model to see if it suits your needs is quite low.

    ORIGINAL REVIEW OCTOBER 2018
I bought this with high hopes of replacing my Nikon hunting rangefinder with one having flag-seeking and slope correction features. As the pricing looked attractive, I decided to give the Wosport 1000 a trial.

I tested the unit shooting at stop signs, street light poles, and garbage cans located up and down my street at distances from 20 to 180 yards. I compared the readings with my Nikon hunting rangefinder (that I know is accurate from more than 8 years of use and comparison with course markers and GPS readings). Sometimes the Wosport unit read the same; at other times it was wildly inaccurate – e.g. reading 120 yards when actual distance was 170 yards. This was when shooting the fairly highly reflective aluminum back of stop signs and the flat sides of garbage bins! This inconsistency would give me no end of problems on the golf course – I have enough of those already.
I thought the problem might be that the battery supplied with the unit was weak. I tried brand new Eveready CR2 lithium batteries, but the unit still gave erroneous readings.
This unit is not for me. Returning for refund.

UPDATE: My return and refund were processed without any problems.
