If you want a waterproof wet weather hiker, then this is the boot for you!!! Love these boots.
he boots are great their super comfortable have great grip and feel good quality
The boots are well made, comfortable and lightweight with a nice flexible Inner sole. I have now worn them in on tarmac, rough grass and rocky tracks and in all weather conditions-they are waterproof so far!
Really comfortable boots. Have been out in them twice now. I wouldn’t say they are totally waterproof. Better than boots I have had previously that said they are waterproof. But feet were damp on top after walking through long wet grass on second walk. So if you don’t mind a little bit of water creeping in give them a go.
Only had them on a couple of times for walking the dogs at weekend good fit comfortable lightweight so far waterproof as been through long wet grass and feet dry
I love Xpeti boots and wear very little else these days. I have several pairs and have had many different styles. All have been very comfortable and fantastic value for money. These leather boot are probably the most comfortable so far. Only lost a star due to minor cracking of the leather in the creases on the inside of both boots. These appeared after about the third time out, but do not seem to have got any worse and the boots are still waterproof.
This boot promises to be a winner on the trail or road. It feels comfortable but slightly cramped in the toe box, even though I purchased a full size up from my UK10.
It looks pretty stylish and the tread looks deep and durable. I cover about 10k most days, road and trail walks, through grass, muddy paths and only time will tell if they live up to their potential.
I have rubbed a little dubbin into the leather uppers just to ensure early weatherproofing.
I’m not wearing thick hiking socks and given that feet swell by a half size after a long hot day I hope my toes don’t suffer.

Good price for a boot and initially they have a cautious recommendation.
I have bought several pairs of XPETI boots in the past year and I have to say they are fabulous. Have recently moved to the Lake District so want a few different pairs which will help me navigate different terrains. See video for more in depth review.
I’ve gone through many walking / hiking boots. But for the value, these are the best I have used. Waterproof, comfortable and wear in well.
Comfortable straight out of the box. 1st time out in fields in the rain yesterday. Comfortable, dry feet the whole walk. I like the way the toe of the boot seems to bend with your toes. Great boots

Completely waterproof but would not recommend for hiking because the ankle isn’t supported. A lovely comfy pair of boots!!
UPDATE: it has been incredibly wet in UK recently and I’ve used these boots in some horrendous weather. Waterproofing really is excellent. Dry feet… Shame they can’t clean themselves.
FURTHER UPDATE: So impressed, I’ve bought a second pair. The first pair have done a lot of distance (1,000km) miles and are starting to show signs of wear on the tread but they are still pretty waterproof.
Time will tell with walking boots but so far these are working very well for the price. They’ve been taken through long grass on long walks which is always a good test of waterproofing – no problem. Very comfortable fit and I’ve got reasonably wide feet. Grip is good too. I’ve recently had problems with expensive canvas boots with the fabric ripping when your foot flexes at the front – the design of these looks like this will be less of a problem. Shame they aren’t self-cleaning! Difficult not to recommend after two weeks.

This is it that all terrain boot that does the job remember has to be properly laced up ( miss the top ties)
