My son loves this watch. I’m he is 9 and the size and shape is perfect for his wrist. It has quite small settings for smaller wrists too so plenty of growing room.
It is great to encourage movement. Playing games whilst on the move is a brilliant incentive. Step count is good and accurate too.
He particularly likes the camera and the selfie opportunities.
He isn’t really away from me just yet but we have tested the GPS and no issues there either. It will come in very handy once he starts middle school next year.
I highly recommend. The set up was easy and simple too. Didn’t take too long at all.
The watch is very light, easy to use and great value for money. My 7 year old loves all the features including the camera! She loves the fact she can message me so it gives her that little independence in readiness for her to move onto a phone in a couple of years. Very satisfied
We got this watch as a gift for our daughter and have been quite impressed by the functionality of it. It seems very easy to use. Lots of useful functions for children to use, such as calculator, camera and stop watch, calls and texts etc. The screen seems quite colourful and to scroll through it is very responsive. There is a GPS tracking mode which makes this product quite unique in that you can use this to monitor child’s whereabouts. As a starter watch for a child which incorporates smart watch features. It is a good product. Our daughter has been more active also tracking her steps daily, so that also is a positive. Also comes in a few colours so there is some choice on the overall look.
You do need to buy your own sim card and therefore could be additional costs with this. However based on safety a really good product for its purpose

My 4 year old daughter absolutely loves her watch especially because it’s in her favourite colour. She loves the camera app and also loves using the flashlight when telling stories. I love how easy it was to set up the watch and find the GPS tracker useful.
To summarise, the Xplora XGO2 is a Child friendly smart watch, which is easy to use and has a decent battery life.
Great watch, battery lasts ages, my 11 year old is really happy with it. You can change the digital faces which he does daily. The school mode is a fab option via the parent app, it means he can’t access anything other than the clock and his step counter while he’s at school. It was straight forward to set up and good to go within about 15 minutes of it arriving! Really happy with it, considering getting another one for my other son! They come in different colours too, so there is plenty of choice!
This is a great introduction to Smart Watches for kids. Great apps, easy to use, cool & funky aesthetics and a decent battery life!
My daughter absolutely loves this watch! I have an adult version and my daughter had been wanting one for so long. It is perfect for a 7 year old, The features are great she can take pictures, option to make and receive calls and best of all I can track wherever she is when she had the watch in her possession! Got this for my daughter whos 6 and she absolutely loves it. Shes always shown interest in my fitness watch and how it counts your steps and now she has her very own and loves to let us know how many she has done. Its easy to operate and she can navigate herself around the watch herself. She loves that she can take pictures and also record her own voice. The charge on it lasts for ages when fully charged which is fab as she can be very impatient waiting for it haha. I love that it also has the function to put a sim card in and answer calls which will be handy for when shes older.

Bought this for My son as he wants to go out and play,this is great for me to keep an eye on where he is and to get in contact if needed, so easy for him to use he wears it all the time even to school so I just put it into school mode just so he ain’t tempted to play games etc on it while in class.
Great product, easy setup. My 8yr old son loves it. GPS can be hit or miss, but it’s more accurate once a call is performed on the watch.
Battery life could be longer so could the charge cable!! Best to order a couple of spares off EBay for a couple of quid. Only downside is inability to send predefined texts to any of the specific numbers in the watch rather than the admin of the app.

My daughter loves the step counter feature and enjoys seeing the numbers go up. She also loves to take a selfie on it too. As parents the gps tracker is a great and reassuring feature. We’ve put a giffgaff SIM card in and signal has been good. A great little watch.

I brought this watch for my 7 year old nephew & he loves it!
Really easy to set up and manage using the parental app. I like that it doesnt feature any social media and that you can control all the contacts, making it much safer than your typical smart watch/phone. And the fact its got a school-mode, which disables the interactive features whilst he’s in class so he’s not distracted.
He’s enjoying taking photos using his watch and sharing them with me, which I love too as I can see what he’s up to.
Obviously, the highlight of this watch is that he’s rewarded for staying active – 1,000 steps earns him 1 Xplora coin, which he can then use on the Goplay platform. Win-win in my eyes!
Overall, lovely watch which I would highly recommend to other parents/ adults buying for kids.

In response to me returning a faulty x2 watch, I have to say I can’t fault the company for a free upgrade to an x5 play which seems to be a good quality watch , so hats off to the company for sorting this as I wasn’t expecting it .

I’m very pleased with this watch! I bought it for my son’s 4th birthday and i was worried he would be too young for it, I was completely wrong, it was far better than I expected it to be!
Our favorite feature is the step counter, my son loves looking at how active he has been during the day and tries to compete with mummy and daddy.
The watch needs a SIM card but we just bought a PAYG one, the calls and messages are such a fab feature. My 4 year old loves calling us from it and has been learning to send messages too.
The watch itself is very easy to use and you connect it to the app on the parents phone, this also allows you to track your child and see where they are at all times.

Great for kids due to being stylish and elegant but robust unlike cheaper brands on the market. Made from top quality materials and has a good weight; a time trusted method of telling quality. GPS is very accurate and the setup is minimalistic and easy to do. Voice calls are clear and crisp although a strong wind can overwhelm the microphone but this is expected on any device and can be avoided with placing your other hand in a cup shape around the watch to deflect the wind. So in conclusion overall I give this watch the thumbs up and recommend it to any parent looking to give there child a little more independence and freedom with the comforts of knowing they are safe.
This watch is absolutely fab! My little boy loves it and I can’t wait to get one for my other son too! His favourite part is the physical games which he can earn coins for to purchase other games or use to gain a reward. The watch also allows you to call and text which my son thought was super cool (as he’s only 7) one of the great features as a parent is that it allows you to track your child’s movements so you always know where they are and that they are safe. I would highly recommend this watch! Perfect for Christmas
The watch itself is a little big for a 4 year old wrist, but that aside my son loves it. The GPS tracking function works really well and give peace of mind knowing where your child is. The watch has a built in SOS function and talk function.
I got this for my son as he has been desperate to get a watch like daddys that counts his steps. The functionality to be able to use all the other features has been a massive bonus to us also. Its a great size for his wrist and the strap is also long enough for myself.
We haven’t tried every feature yet but we can’t wait to try them out!

When we gave this to my daughter she was over the moon as her friends at school have fit bits and she’s been asking for something similar for a while. I have to say she loves it. She finds it easy to use, easy to pop on charge and the battery lasts well. She loves taking photos of everything she can and recording voice notes.

This isn’t just a watch, it’s piece of mind too!! Our nearly 8 years old son of course would love a phone to be like his elder siblings but too young currently. We were able to get a sim card so now we can call him and he us if needed. This is brilliant when he is out around the block as gives us both reassurance. He’s mega happy as can take selfies, pictures and videos along with using a calculator, stop watch and finding telling the time easier with a digital watch. What we also love about is that you can set a school mode time so none of the extra features can be used. It’s just a watch. Unfortunately we lost a screw but was sent a spare kit immediately. Great customer service!
Really pleased with purchase for my 9 year old son, love the GPS to see where he is when playing out with friends.
Calling is great and he loves to be able to send me a voice note so I know he’s ok.
Have added a couple of his friends numbers which is great to be able to control who he can call etc.
Set up was pretty straight forward got a gift gaff sim and did step by step guide.
All in all he is very happy & so am I, Gave him abit more freedom and I can keep a check via GPS or calling him for him to come home.

It was great that she could call us or text whenever she was out or we could contact her.
It is very easy to set up and we chose the pink colour as its her favourite colour. The watch strap is soft and flexible and has lots of holes to fit all sizes of wrist.
The sim we bought worked perfectly with the watch and had a great signal. The battery life is excellent and does not need charged very often but it will depend on usage. The sound quality when talking on it is crisp and clear.
I would definitely recommend this to anyone with children who want to be able to get in touch with them without having to carry a phone.

We absolutely LOVE this product, purchased particularly for school. I am able to keep contact with my daughter with her still being allowed to wear it at school, it features a school mode! The battery lasts all day! We are so happy and I’d definitely recommend it to parents who aren’t quite ready to let their child carry a mobile phone.

We’ve really enjoyed using this product. I have 5 young kids, 3 are of the age where they are starting to want to have the freedom to go out with friends, so this has been a lifesaver.
We can call them and use the GPS to see where they are, the GPS is pretty good for what I would expect.
I found it easy to set up just don’t forget to buy the simcard for it to work when you order. The kids also found it super easy to use and really enjoyed being able to use it when going out, plus it’s great peace of mind for me.
The battery life is really good and I think its really good value for money. Its a 5 stars from us!
My kids absolutely love this watch! We use it daily when we let them go outside to play so that we can track their location, call them and let them know that dinner is ready and they love to leave me and my partner little voice notes to keep us up to date with how they’re doing. They particularly love the camera function and competing with each other to see who can do the most steps (tracked by the built in pedometer)

I received this watch for my daughter through product testing opportunity. I wanted something for her so that she was contactable when she will playing out without giving her a mobile phone and this works perfectly. We are using a giffgaff pay as you go mobile sim card and we haven’t had any issues with it.
My daughter doing a lot off sport activities so step counting feature is essential for her. She loves the fact that it has a camera on it too and she can take loads of photos with her little brother.

Battery life lasts very well on this watch. My son loves the features on there, learning to tell the time has been great for him with the watch. He also loves the fact you can personalize it and change the look of the watch by the themes. Also great to use as a way to contact via message or call if they are an older child, an alternative to them having a mobile.
You do have the option to have it with or without a SIM card & it still works perfectly fine without it. A watch that’s value for money and hard-wearing so should last a long time.
I have this watch for my 10 year old daughter, we thought we would give this a go as we have had a similar competitors watch in the past. We have found previous watches to not be as great as they claim and we found this watch to be slightly better. It’s definitely top for accuracy, I always checked the app to see if my daughter was located where I knew she was and it was always right. Her old watch would struggle to update quickly, whereas this watch is really quick at updating to where she is so at least I have peace of mind if she ever got lost I could find her quickly.
Battery life on this could be better on this, it does last the day but then needs charging every evening so nothing different to an iPhone but it only scored lower as my daughter doesn’t use the watch as much as she would a phone so would expect the battery to last longer BUT this wouldn’t stop me having this for my other children!
It has a really good app for the parents, I can call her, text her and always check where she is. Works really really well, I haven’t had any problems. I love that I can choose who she can contact etc so I always know she won’t be able to talk to strangers.
My daughter loves all the bits and pieces on the watch, she’s loves being able to call and text etc and she particularly likes she’s able to put her favourite music on the watch. It took her a while to get used to the watch and she said she didn’t find that easy to use to at first so would suit the older child but she does love it.
All in all I’d say this is a great first serious watch for your child that’s a really good security option to always be able to get hold of your child when they don’t have a phone yet. Plus in big playgrounds I always panic if I can’t see her now I can quickly check and I know exactly where she is.
My little boy received his watch a few weeks ago and has worn it ever since. He loves that it can take pictures and counts his steps (just like mums) but I also love that it has a gps tracker built in so that I can keep an eye on him while out playing. Fabulous product and going to order one for my other son too.
My son loves this watch, he likes using the camera to take pictures and he uses the little torch on the side. And as a parent I love the secure feature that you can use the app to program the watch to only receive and make calls to the numbers you add. Also love the “safe zone” feature which alters you when your child is near home. The battery life is good it lasts longer than my Iwatch. It’s brilliant for keeping a track on where your child is gps is accurate. We used a pay as you go gif gaff sim to set it up but looking at getting a cheap contract one. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic smart watch! It does everything we need it to do and more, battery lasts about a day and a half if she’s not continuously playing with it. Camera quality is better than I expected. Love that it has GPS tracking and a pedometer.
1st watch they sent didn’t work. 2nd watch worked fine. Paid 97 but it was well spent. Watch is fantastic. Ordered an o2 sim & with it having 4G the Signal is ace! No games so it doesn’t get removed from wrist till bed. Download app to phone to add phone numbers & use Tracker. Excellent watch for my 8year old

Hi i just bought this for my son’s 9th birthday and wasn’t convinced i could get it to work on a topup sim card. I have it working on GiffGaff. top up of 10 credit which should last for months.
I also have the app working on more than 1 device meaning 2 parents can use the gps tracker.
so far so good.
One piece of negative feedback the device was dead out the box and i couldn’t get it to power on. Unusual these days but charged for 5-10 mins and it came on. recommendation is activate the sim and have a phone number before inserting it to the watch.
Hello, I bought this as a birthday present for my sons 11th birthday. He absolutely loves it. The battery life is really really good, you can put a SIM card into it and make phone calls and send messages which is great! It’s very easy for to use and setup (if i can do it anyone can) worth every penny spent. Definitely going to by my other son one for his birthday now! Thank you
Battery life is about a day, a bit longer if not used much. Easy to set up, GPS isn’t massively accurate but OK. Main reason to get it was ability to to call without a phone, this works well.
Our son was getting to the age he wanted to go out and play himself but we wanted the reassurance that we knew where he was. The Xplora xgo 2 was exactly what we wanted and meant that he could call us or message at anytime too.
It’s super stylish and looks great on, we were worried it would be very chunky on but it’s not.
Our son loves the camera feature and has taken and sent plenty pictures which is cute. It also has a great school mode feature that they can’t do anything other than tell the time, we didn’t want it to be a distraction in school time although he can still press the SOS button which made me panic.
One thing that hasn’t been as good is the battery life, sometimes not lasting the day when he was at school. It gets a full charge every single evening.
All in all it’s a really great GPS watch and my son is very happy with it!
My son is 7 and we both love this watch! Its gave me and his dad peace of mind for when he is out playing with friends! I can call/message him and check where he is! My son loves the fact he can try beat my daily steps and the camera is an added bonus! He loves the colour! Would definitely recommend this watch to others! The only small downside is it’s quite chunky as my little boy has tiny wrists but it doesn’t put either of us off!

Got this for my 11 yrs old daughter, a very good investment – easy to set up, location works brilliant and most of all the step counter is a real incentive for kids to get moving! She basically follows her daily step counter just to make sure she is fulfilling her goal. The big screen makes it easy to use. It looks really sturdy, my daughter never takes it off, and it is intact under immense pressure of a daily activities of a teen.
I brought this for my daughter’s 10th birthday in May and she absolutely loves it we went to did play at weekend and she started texting me asking me if I could buy her a drink so she didn’t have to come back to table why I waited inline and for first I’ve allowed her out to park behind my house and I love the fact I can check where she is on GPS and call and text her when I want her home when she got home she showed me photos she had taken she’s one happy girl.
This is by far the best children’s smart watch on the market!, the display is easy for my little girl to work and the call, message function is ideal for getting in contact with just the right level of freedom. The watch also syncs to the app which you can download to your mobile phone. I found this a great idea and so easy use. The watch looks really nice and the option of pink was just perfect for my pink mad little girl!.

Really impressed with this purchase. My five year old daughter loves wearing this, she loves the fact she can keep in touch with her assigned contacts. The build quality is quite robust and can withstand all the knocks and impacts that you would expect of a five year old. It’s made so well it’s not to big and bulky it’s very classy compared to other children’s watches. My son loves to come with me on my daily walk and count his steps. I have been looking for something for a wee bit now so I can keep tabs on my daughter without buying her a phone because of her age. A few of her friends have similar ones so I saw this one and read reviews and I didn’t want something too cheap that it didn’t work or too expensive and she lost it but I am so happy with this watch it was easy to set up and the SIM card is easy to top up. I love the fact only the guardian can add contacts on the watch via the app you download on your device and during school times you can set the watch just as a watch. My daughter spent the 5 I put on even though I told her that it was for emergencies and that I would track her and call her if I needed her. She has figured out how to prank me constantly which I’m hoping is because it’s new to her. However the quality of the watch for the price is amazing you can hear her perfectly and she can hear me. Overall I would highly recommend this watch to anyone with kids who have just started to play out and gives you piece of mind that you can contact each other if needed.

The watch has many different functions which are all perfect for our daughter. She absolutely loves the fact that when she is at her families house without me she can tell speak to me via the message and call function. This watched has also motivated her in walking more, the ability to monitor her steps is great! The set up was very easy and quick which is a bonus for a not so tech savvy mum! As a mum the tracker was the biggest reason to have this watch, knowing where she is at all times is great. We will be buying our son one when he is a little older!

I’m not one for doing reviews but I had to come on and do one for this. My son is autistic and due to this he is very attached to me and doesn’t like to go out on his own. I am also very nervous about him going out on his own incase he wonders off. This watch has helped both of us so much. My son feels safe and comfortable to now walk around our block on his own as he can call me at the touch of a button. I feel secure in the knowledge I can track his path and know exactly where he is. This is a fantastic watch for any child wanting that little bit of independence..
My 9 year old loves his green watch and his friends thinks it’s cool. The step counter has been fantastic for getting him up and about. He loves that he can phone or message anyone that has been approved on the parent/guardian app, and it can all be disabled as and when you wish . I love the tracking on it and the lead is so easy for children to use (magnetic) 10/10 from us.
My son loves this watch. It’s great fun and it’s good to have when we went out on walks. We can call him on his phone to come back if he’s too far ahead of us!! He thinks he’s grown up like his sister who has an Apple Watch. I need another one for my younger son now too!
This watch is fantastic value for money and easy to use. It’s a great way for your children to not only be able to tell the time and keep in touch with us, but also us as parents to be able to keep an eye on our children’s movements. You can disable the watches features for when they are at school which is really handy. My Daughter is absolutely loving her new watch. I would definitely recommend.
Great product for my 8 year old grandson. He loves it and we can call him when he is playing at the park or with friends. He can call us too. Not obvious to anyone else and easy to wear.
My daughter of 9 absolutely loves this watch and finds it very easy to use! We have daily competitions to see who can get the most steps in, we had a few occasions where the watch reset its self back to 0 during the day but this now seems to have sorted its self out. When she is out with her friends at the park or their houses the GPR tells me where she is quite accurately, this is a great feature of the watch. The software is very easy to use. I must say that we are both enjoying this watch!
My son loves this watch. He is able to send me messages and make calls and he loves using the pedometer. The GPS tracker is a great safety feature, especially as he grows. I would highly recommend this product.
Very good watch does what it says easy to set up and easy to use i think for peace of mind this is value for money as cheaper versions tend to not work aswell

Such a lovely watch. I got this for my son who is 10, he has been after a watch that will help him track his steps and this was perfect. I love the fact I can phone him too, which is perfect when he is out playing with his friends at the park. The strap fits well, durable and the watch itself is decent quality. I definitely recommend this watch, if you are looking for something practical for your children.
We have another XPLORA watch for my son and love it, so decided to get one for my 5 year old. She loves wearing it and can manage all the functions fine. She loves being able to call her grandparents and send them photos.
Really impressed. The watch is well built, stylish and so easy to use. My 3 year old got how to use it straight away.
We bought this for the end of lockdown as my daughter has autism and I wanted to be able to track where she is. We’ve got a sim card and tested this and the call function and it’s brilliant. Recommend to everyone
Fantastic watch for my 7 year old to use.
Took a short while to set up as needed to unlock the sim.
Love how you can put a school setting on it so no calls etc can be made during school time but they can still use it as a normal watch.
The tracking is spot on and its a comfort knowing I can see where my son is when he’s not with me.
Really good value for money and I would definitely buy one again.
Brilliant watch with so many features! My 6 year old son loves it. They look great, easy to set up, track steps which is fun for a 6 year old and you can track the location at any time, which thankfully we haven’t needed but it’s handy to know if we ever needed it!
Overall super pleased with this watch & would absolutely recommend to all.

First thing she said is how much she loved the colour (pink) it was really simple to set up. My daughter loves being able to take photos and also track her steps and loves hitting her goals! The classroom feature is brilliant! and for me the SOS feature is such a clever idea for peace of mind for when she isn’t with me.

Took me less than 5 minutes to have it set up and on her wrist.
The features on it are outstanding and I particularly like the SOS feature which gives me peace of mind when she’s out playing with her friends.
My daughter thinks the pedometer is really cool and she’s actively increasing her steps which will benefit her fitness in the long run.
This watch is perfect in every way.
It’s one way to get your kid active and also peace of mind if they are out you can contact them. Plus it also has a tracker on it, so you know where they are through the app Xplora that’s connected to your phone.
The watch does need a sim card and we went with giff gaff easy to set up. Highly recommended this watch. Definitely value for money.
It is easy to set up and has a camera, basic messaging function and torch.
The call function is a great way to introduce children to being able to make calls in a safe way. You have to download the XPLORA app and you can then add in trusted contacts that can be called through that.
Overall my daughter has been thrilled with her watch and never takes it off. It’s been such a good way for her to keep in touch with her friends and family.

LOVE this watch! My son has not put it down since we got it. lockdown has been tough for him and it’s given him so much to do! He loves tracking his steps and sending me & his dad messages on the app! He also loves taking photos of his baby sister! It gives him the freedom and fun of having a mobile phone without having to worry about safety & privacy! It’s amazing

Recieved this watch the other day, it’s easy to set up however we didn’t realised it needed a SIM card to work to its full potential. Our daughter has enjoyed using it to count steps etc. We have ordered a SIM card so she can call etc form it we are still waiting for delivery of this.
Overall it’s a good watch and hopefully it works as well as it does now with the SIM card.
