- A new battery will only be partially charged and will require a full charge prior to use. After 2-3 times regular use (charge/discharge), the battery can be fully activated and achieve optimum performance.
- To help prolong battery life, please let your machine cool down after use – before connecting it back up to the dock to recharge.
- Your vacuum is designed to be used in Auto or Normal mode for everyday cleaning. Max or Boost modes are meant for powerful, intensive bursts of spot cleaning. Using them constantly speeds up the degradation of the battery.
- Because the battery has overheating safety protection, avoid recharging immediately after a full discharge, allow cooling for a few minutes, otherwise, it will give a red light alarm and stop running.

Good quality battery. Have used it a few times so far and some vacuum tasks were not too short. What surprised me was the fact that the battery showed no decline in energy when plugged in to recharge. A sure sign of a good battery in my view.
This is ofcause a pattern part. Good as far as I can see. Only had it for a few weeks, can’t say anything bad about performance. One vital detail is missing, on genuine battery there is an antislip strip on the back of the battery which for me is essential feature, this pattern battery has not got it. So I had to buy an additional self-adhesive rubber strip for it. Other than this is good
I thought I’ll buy a replacement battery for our Dyson V10 and hope it will fit ok. Good news it did perfectly the most awkward bit was getting the old screws out without damaging the heads. The Dyson battery lasted about 5-10 minutes on full suction the yaber replacement seems to last at least half an hour on full suction with hardly any loss of charge. Well pleased and 2 year warranty brilliant.
Works great easy to swap and battery lasts for ages. It has given my v10 a new lease of life. Comes with the filter as well which improves performance for me.
Overall would recommend.
This battery replaced an ageing Dyson one that no longer worked long enough to clean a largish house.
Was pretty simple to change the battery – a few screws, a perfect fit and it was an instant improvement.
Not sure what the life of this will be but am optimistic it will be a few years like the Dyson battery was.
A good way of extending the life of an expensive (but very good) Dyson vacuum.
My original Dyson battery was getting a bit tired so though I’d give this a go, as it’s a lot cheaper and easier to get hold of than the original Dyson batteries. Very glad I did – looks almost identical, perfect fit, and includes a spare filter (which again aren’t cheap from Dyson). Time will tell how long it lasts, but certainly a lot better runtime so far!
Gives good performance.. cheap compared to original battery
Battery now holds quite long can finish hoovering all house around and still some power left. Part fits perfectly as original part.
Key point do not force any parts and it should fit without forcing and better put screws to more visible spot. Please note that this is not original it’s comparable model so far working fine.

It works perfectly and it’s like having a new dyson. I can’t believe how quickly my previous battery started to fail, but this one new combined with the new filter, really works great .
Great replacement battery that seems to last as long as the original, at a much cheaper price. No major differences noted.
This is a good replacement battery for the original battery, it lasts around 15-25 mins longer than the original in the first setting so not bad.
