This is the most discrete stairgate I’ve come across. Easy to fit and v easy to use. We bought it to stop dogs going upstairs and works perfectly. I highly recommend.
If your dog decided to chew through it, it would last minutes. For me it’s great so far as he just growls at it. Two sets of wall mounts and can be easily moved.
We have put these at the top and bottom of our stairs to prevent our small person falling/ climbing.
They’re really easy to use, look nice. You just have to remember to ‘lock them out’
I got this baby gate to replace a old gated one, and I can say it deffinately does improve the look my staircase and give me extra space.
It is well built and very easy to get this attached to the wall, have to be careful for with the retractable soemetime I did find it getting stuck sometimes but overall it has been reliable just require you to open it properly.
I would reccomend it.
I got this for the French doors of my lounge which open onto a step down onto my patio.
I’m really impressed with this set up. I was worried that my large skirting board would protrude too much but its fine as the attachment extensions are enough.
The instructions are not the clearest but it is quite a simple process. Just make sure you get the measurements and level right.
The gate pulls a cross with ease and secures easily. It pulls tight and once locked in place it is strong enough to form an effective barrier for my dog. I have a baby due too and this will be ideal for once they start getting around. We will be able to have the French doors open in the summer and I’ll be confident that they won’t be falling out the door.
The material of the barrier is easy to clean with a wipe or clean cloth and mild detergent solution.
Overall a really safe and convenient solution for French doors. It’s brilliant. It’s really well made and looks to be great quality. I’m so glad I got it.
As we’ve recently taken on a rescue pup we had the need for a stairgate again but didn’t want the hassle of the fixed gates that leave the metal bar across the bottom when open, the number of times we’ve stubbed our toes on them in the past is huge. So we started to look to see if there were any better alternatives, and as a result, we came across this one. The design looked good, well thought out, and a good quality product so we thought we’d give it a go. I have to say we have been thoroughly impressed, the fitting guides and attachments are excellent, they even provide you with a paper template so no trying to balance the product against the wall to mark the holes for mounting. Opening and closing the gate is incredibly easy and having the ability to lock it, either way would be very beneficial when your toddler starts exploring. All in all, this is a very clever, well-designed product and is streets ahead of the basic stairgates we’ve used in the past.

This is the very first one I’ve bought! I believe it is the safest option because there will be no harm if your youngster slips or falls on it. It’s really safe and durable. Fits in any space and is never in the way!
Really pleased with this stairgate. It does the job of keeping my grandson from attempting to play on the stairs. My husband put it up and it didn’t take long. I like that it is retractable and it also looks better than others I have seen.
We had to do something. Browsing Amazon, found this and unlike a conventional stair gate, there aren’t any gaps he could get through and it’s very discreet and space saving when not in use.
Installation wasn’t particularly quick, I didn’t use the template because it wouldn’t have helped with accurate placement around the skirting board. Took my time and was really pleased with the end result. It’s level, easy and quick with one hand to pull out and retract and even for a Pomeranian, there is no way they are getting through it.
The retractable mesh is really long and could easily accommodate larger spaces that other gates could not without expensive and large extensions.
Now when someone knocks on the door, we call him on to the stairs and quickly close the gate. He hasn’t managed to escape since.
No doubt, for the price paid, this will save his life.

Brilliant stairgate. I have an extra wide gap at the opening to my stairs so this stairgate works brilliantly as standard stairgates don’t fit. It is also good at the fact you can retract it so you don’t have to constantly have a gate in the way.
I bought this for our open tread stairs to keep our 2 year old from neaking up. Our stairs run adjacent to our glass porch wall, so we have been unable to fit a standard stairgate. This has been perfect, we secured it to the bottom of the bannister and then to the glass wall frame. It wraps around the stair and secures tightly. Perfect for what we need it to do. The quality is great too and colour just like photo.
We love the fact that it’s very easy to open 1 handed.
No metal bar at the bottom to trip over on the stairs is a great feature too.

No problems with installing the safety gate, managed to do it on my own. Working well so far with keeping the baby away from the stairs and easy to retract when not needed.
