Was asked to pick out a microscope for under $100 for a gift for my nephew. This seemed like a good quality deal. When I actually saw it in person and got to use it, I decided to get one for myself. It’s high quality and functions at a high level.
There were no instructions on how to use it and it comes with glass instead of plastic slides. So I spent about 15 minutes talking my nephew through it. He had been unable to on his own and had broken a slide (always remember to start your table high then focus down and lower the table all the way down before changing magnification). Since then he’s been looking at mold and hairs and loves it. I love knowing that he has something of good quality that works really well and will last a long time. Can’t wait until mine arrives.
