First of all – as with most chairs like this, it comes requiring some assembly. I did find this simple to do. The instructions are clear and I was done in around 10 minutes.
The chair is very comfortable with a built in lower back support. It also has a cushioned seat which is pretty standard and also cushioned arm rests which is nice and not always a given. I have sat in it for multiple hours at a time due to regularly working from home and I’m very happy with it.
One of my favourite features is that the arms lift up (as shown in the picture.
The chair rotates 360 (as you would expect).
The price is where you’d expect. It isn’t cheap, but equally it’s certainly not expensive, plus with the padded arm rests that also lift up, I think it’s a good buy and I’m happy to recommend.
Easy to assemble office chair. Gone is the plastic base for the wheels as found on so many chairs that end up breaking. The chair has a large seat with arms that fold away so you can get close to the desk when not in use. Wonderful styling and I chose the white, so it has that Star Wars look.
Very comfortable with a foam lumber support. Can’t recommend highly enough. Enjoy
I highly recommend this chair which very much exceeded my expectations. I hesitated to begin with as I didn’t know the brand. It looks smart, has the useful flip-up arms at the perfect position but the far and away selling point is how very comfortable it is.
Really good height adjustment, seat extremely comfortable, excellent back support which is important as I research so spend a fair amount of time at my desk.
Minor quibble – I used a rubber hammer to snap the wheels into place as they were very firm but really, that was minor and proves that once in place they are sturdy. The chair glides well on deep carpet, for which I am grateful.
I would absolutely buy this again and may well invest in another.
It’s not just the cylinders smooth and steady descent that lets the side down positively, unfortunately the chair figuratively lets its’s self down what with its cheap and tacky covering at the centre splay of wheels.
The chair is actually at a premium level design and premium finish with a repertoire of materials that work well together. Its just a shame that the overall effect is not as intended as my chair failed to tilt back when I disengaged the lever. It also failed to make any adjustment with its knob and sooner broke than gave me any increment. Wow- on the first day. Its either I’m Superman or this chair is a bit too fickle.
Overall I love the back support and the adjustability of the cushion and armrests. This is a super comfortable chair with a super concept to offer comfortability. The overall backrest is so malleable so as to shape itself to the contours of its occupant.
Such a shame I could not have given this model 5 stars as it really is a state of art.
This is an easy to put together office chair (I did it on my own) and builds up to quite a large, and imposing chair.
The support is good, but I found that the neck support is too high and the lumbar support too low. As such, it didn’t provide maximum support in the way I hoped it would.
That said, I am still able to sit at my desk for far longer than I did before and my productivity has increased as a result.
I also like that the chair arms lift up and down – this helps you to get closer in at your desk.
Overall, a good chair with some niggles.
Got this to replace a gaming chair and already my posture and back feels so much better. Smaller than a gaming chair but comfier and saved my back. Easy to assemble and very happy with product. Well made. Made to last.
Difficult to fault. The white finish of the frame contrasting with the black fabric gives a Bauhaus / Star Wars Imperial Guard Trooper vibe. Will look just as good in your office as in the Death Star.
Very well made with strong engineering behind the whole thing. Adjustments as you would expect but nothing is flimsy.
This chair looks smart, the mesh back in particular gives it a lightness which makes it look better in the home setting than a standard office chair.
It’s supplied in a lot of pieces and takes a good hour to put together. Once set up however it looks good, is quite comfortable and all the movements available within it are very smooth.
The height and lumbar support are adjustable as you’d expect, but the overall incline angle of the back rest isn’t. The arm rests aren’t adjustable either in terms of height, though you can fold them back like you would the arm rest on an aeroplane. It’s a bit simple therefore and anyone with back and posture issues might want to look elsewhere if they need some really specific settings.
I don’t work from home much anymore so this is ideal for me for the amount I’m going to use it. It’s comfortable and looks quite stylish.
Decent chair, had no problems assembling it took me a while tho. Is comfortable enough and has great suppo
This desk chair is very comfortable, has good support at the back and the seating pad is nice and thick.
The assembly manual is not very clear, had to leave it and come back to it later after getting frustrated.
However got there at the end.
Nothing really bad to say at all, seems to be well made out of reasonably good quality materials and fabrics.
Most importantly it is comfortable!
Good value for money and I would recommend this chair for home or office use.
Great quality computer chair. The instructions were easy to follow, and it didn’t take long to put together.
It has a swivel and height function, and feels really comfortable to sit on. The recline feature isn’t the best, as it requires you to twist a knob till its at the required recline, and to go back, you have to then twist the same knob which isn’t a quick process.
Everything works as it should, and it looks great in my room.
To assemble this chair you need to bring your flat pack furniture skills as there is quite a bit to do. On the plus side I found the instructions to be very clear. I checked all the parts before starting and found nothing missing, there were even extra screws just in case. Because the chair is constructed from a combination of plastic and coated metal there were a few discrepancies with colour matches. The assembly was fairly straight forward except that one of the base arms wouldn’t screw cleanly and I had to re-tap the thread. Possibly a spot of weld in the way. There was also a chip on one part of the enamel central column but this became hidden when assembled. The wheels look a little flimsy so I’m not convinced they are durable in the long term. The seat was a little difficult to line up but only because the cushion was pushing against the arms. Finally, it all went together but probably took me the best part of an hour.
The seat is large and has a deep comfortable cushion. The seat and arms are covered in a black fabric. I liked the mesh back as this makes it breathable. The lumbar support cushion is adjustable up to 5cm and is covered in a grey fabric for some reason, but this was well positioned for me without moving it. The arms fold up but won’t go far enough back so that they clear the chair back. This means that they stick into your bicep. The only use for these is after use pushing the chair under a desk. The gas lift has a decent range and you can recline back although it does creak a little when you do this. The chair is capable of supporting a weight of 330lb or 150kg.
Overall, this is a nice comfortable office chair with a five leg base which makes it very stable. There is more construction than I think is necessary but once it is assembled it will do the job and looks quite smart.
I put the seat on the wrong way and it took me some time to realize that it was back to front so anyone following the instructions !!!!!?????
I like these mesh chairs as they let air in and around the body, thus making the work or leisure experience more enjoyable. Therefore I was pleased to receive this chair, which is a step up from my last one. For a starter, I enclose in photo one of how it turns up once unwrapped, so you can see the level of self-assembly required. I am not a DIY enthusiast by any means but managed to put this together in 45 minutes with only two swear words and one banging of the floor in frustration. The only tool you need is an Allen key which is supplied with the product. The white ball thing that you see in picture two actually comes apart (it is meant to) but this took me a while to realise. Once up and erect the quality of the product shines through though, as it has a deep padded cushion, padded, flip-up armrests, a sturdy back and wheels that traverse quickly over the floor. It does not tilt but does go up and down via the standard gas operation. Therefore, it should suit most people who are home or office-bound. Some mesh chairs fail to support the back over prolonged sitting but this one seems to be better than most and I, a home-worker, can report no issues even after a full day pounding away on my keyboard for eight or so hours. Therefore, I can only give this chair the proverbial thumbs up.
Very easy to assemble looks nice totally satisfied buy it!
This chair is like doing a giant Kinder Surprise egg, where the reward is that you get to sit down at the end. The amount of user assembly required is over-the-top, for the size of the box it comes in they could have pre-assembled the base and castors for you so that at least then you’d only have to bolt the arms on the back and connect it to the seat like most other chairs of this type.
The quality of the parts feels good and it looks nice. It’s comfy to sit on and the back support is good. However, this is still day 1 so we’ll see how the seat pad fares after my bum has squashed it for a few months.
Easy to assemble, comfy and great to be able to have flip up arm rests so it fits under the desk when not in use.
Having ordered an operator chair from another supplier, which I returned x2 as both were broken, this chair rates 10/10.
Assembly easy, quality excellent, comfort so far amazing. Highly recommend for home office. I am 160cm tall and weigh 72kgs, it’s just perfect.
Let’s see how it stands up against use.
Giving this 4 stars because while I love the chair I found the assembly difficult on my own and even wondered halfway through if I would have to return it.
The main snag I encountered with assembly was with attaching the back to the seat – everything else was fairly easy and not nearly as time-consuming.
The holes just didn’t seem to align properly (you can kinda see how far out it was on one side in my pictures) and it quickly went from being a one-person job to two people (one to align the holes and hold it in place and another to put the screws in).
That being said the chair is really comfortable once you do manage to assemble it and has excellent support. The video on top of the instructions was very helpful too. I just wish the assembly had been a bit easier which was why this lost a star for me.
Got this for working from home, makes it so much more comfortable than a dining chair.
Having to sit for 8 hours a day for work, I needed something that was comfortable and supportive for my back. This helped alot, very easy to put together, sturdy and adjustable. Arms can be raised to push it right against my desk aswell for easy storage.
Made a massive difference to my day, even though its not one of the most expensive chairs, it works fine for me and I have spinal issues aswell.
Happy to recommend this chai
This review if for the ACMELIFE Office Chair with Flip-up Armrests, Ergonomic Desk Chair for Home Office, Height Adjustable Computer Chair Mesh Executive Work Chair with Lumbar Support, Office Chairs for Home Black that I ordered for my home office. It was very easy to put together, took me around 15 minutes in total. It looks great under my desk. It is very comfortable and has lots of ways to adjust the chair to suit how you like to sit. Overall, it is a nice chair, a little on the pricey side when compared to others, but still a good chair for the money.
I have to admit that i was scared at the begining when i received the package as I saw all the pieces dismantled. But it took me only 30 min to assemble.
It has curved arms, lever on the right hand side of the chair to lift it up or to lower it ( 10cm) , as you wish. And the most important has an ajustable solf lumbar support for a better fit around your waiste.
It is very sturdy as it can hold 150 kg.
If you have kids and they are using the chair it’s very impirtant to know that the wheels are very silent, 360 rotation and you will not hear a noize.
The delivery was fast and very well packaged.
I would highly recommend.
This chair needs to be assembled when received, but it’s a straightforward process to do so — it took me half an hour to complete and that was at a relaxed pace.
When assembled, the chair stands about four foot tall fully extended. It can be lowered about half a foot with the lever on the right-hand side of the chair.
The arms of the chair can be pushed back but not completely in parallel with the back of the seat — the arm rests are curved, and the end of the arms stick out a little. They are also fairly firm so need to be moved with a bit of force, but that means that they won’t fall back down after they have been pushed back.
The lower-back support works well although it isn’t adjustable, but I found it easy to find a comfortable working position. The seat is firm to sit on, as are the arm rests. It’s not uncomfortable to sit on for any period of time.
Overall, an easy to assemble and comfortable chair to use.
The chair comprises a considerable number of parts, mostly to build the base, but the instructions are clear with only a few steps and the chair assembles quickly. I had the chair unpacked and assembled within 20 minutes using a drill driver, but the supplied allen / hex key will work fine it a little slower.
Most parts make up the base under the chair, which is steel and vey sturdy. The castors are strong and free rolling. The parts are well wrapped in bubble wrap and cardboard and is supplied in a not overly large box.
A plus is that the bolts are lightly oiled and have what appears to be some thread locking compound on the threads. I’ve sat in what seems like hundreds of these chairs and bolts working themselves out is a common problem. Looks like this chair has that sorted and it is certainly comfortable and feels secure to sit in.
The supplied allen / hex key fits all the bolts but if you want to assemble using your own tools, the size is 5.5mm or 7/32. Some spare bolts of different sizes are provided but these were not needed. Keep them for the future if a bolt works its way out and is lost, although I cannot see this happening.
In operation, the only feature that was tricky was the reclining mechanism. Look at the printed diagram on the tilt handle. Pull out to unlock the tilt, or push bask in to lock the chair tilt in place. The arm rests tilt up almost completely out of the way.
I would recommend this chair, particularly with so many homes turning into mini-offices these days. Refer to the marketing for pictures of the chair in actio
