What Do We Do?
We make adjustable dress forms.
What is one of those I hear you ask? Well put simply, a dress form is a model used to reflect your body shape. This can be very helpful when making clothes or even just to see how an outfit would look together.
There are many ways in which a dress form can be invaluable in garment making, whether you’re just starting out or an experienced sewist.

A lovely addition to my dressing room, sturdy, easy to assemble, very well packaged, arrived quicker than expected.
his is easy to put together and very sturdy once erected. Only drawback are the dials, these were fine for me but if you have problems such as arthritic fingers it would be better to purchase the model with round dials.
Stand was sturdy and reminded me of a Christmas tree base! Overall, quality was great, delivery was top notch as always and I have a happy partne
I’m a fashion student to it really came down to affordablitiy for me.
The delivery was fast I had it within 3 days of ordering. I’m based in Ireland if that makes a difference.
The assembly was very easy and quick. Amazon had placed the mannequin box inside an oversized Amazon box with plenty of packing around it and I’m glad they did because the box received damage during transport but the mannequin was safe.
It was delivered quite quickly, ie roughly the next day, it was easy to assemble
This is more expensive than some on the market at present but in my many years of using this style of tailors dummy, dressmakers dolly (call it what you will) to aid in making clothes, alterations and repairs, the cheaper versions often do not last or look very tatty after general use so if your intent is to use it for its original purpose as opposed to using it as a styling model or for general decoration, then investing in a well built model will pay off in the long run.
The box arrived having been badly sealed with thick white tape but as it’s all inside the Amazon packaging this is of little concern and the item itself is perfectly fine and completely brand new. The box will be huge so be prepared for that, I was caught off guard and asked the delivery driver to make sure it was one of my parcels ! It was and it soon became apparent it was a large box inside of a huge cardboard box with a lot of extra packaging paper . Great for imagination games for the kids though! And easy to dismantle for reuse or recycling.
So far the tailors dummy is ideal. It adjusts well and is exactly what you’d expect from it. Sturdy but not heavy so easy to move around as needed and tucked away if you need the space.
It’s covered with red fabric which is the norm for this style of item . When using pins on your garments try and hook them to the item itself or pin patterns , toiled and semi constructed pieces to the manaquin by piercing under and through the red fabric. This isn’t like the polystyrene solid manaquin you see in home interior designs or shop displays.
