Great bit of kitso far. Had it a few months now and it’s standing up to the beating I’ve been giving it. Sound is great and easy to assemble and use.
Overall I’m happy.
It takes a bit of fiddling to get this set right.
If using a headset with a mic, pull the jack out just a touch to get full volume.
I would do some research and figure out how to adjust everything for volumes and sounds, it is not great from the factory.
Everything feels good and it’s really nice to practice whenever I feel like it.

Me gusta mucho, est genial. Para mi el nico inconveniente es que no entra el cable que conecta el pc a la batera y para las clases que te regalan de Melodics necesitas conectar el pc (tambin necesitas el cable para cambiar los sonidos). Las baquetas tambin vienen sin numerar.
Headphone output not very loud, everything else OK. If you are a beginner you will need to go onto the internet to find out how to arrange everything in the right place for playing.

This is my first drum kit. After a month or so of using it I’ve had absolutely zero problems. It’s responsive, feels good to play and is pretty quiet (kick pedal excluded). I mostly use it with Logic, which is works with easily. The built in sounds don’t sound especially great, but they’re fine for just quickly putting headphones in and playing without bothering with the computer.

Es mi primera batera y eso la hace especial, quizs no soy experto en el tema pero para comenzar esta muy bien, los sonidos estn muy digitalizados pero usando un daw la cosa mejora bastante, me gusta que se le puede poner doble pedal sin problema. He buscado el kit de expansin y por lo que veo es complicado conseguirlo y el de nitro mesh no le queda. Me gusto muchsimo 🙂

Por su precio en relacin a sus competidoras ms caras (Yamaha & Roland) es una buena batera electrnica. Llevo un par de meses con ella aprendiendo a tocarla (haba probado un par de bateras antes) y estoy bastante satisfecho. Es cierto que la funcin chofe de los platillos no es sutil y hay que sujetar el platillo con decisin para parar el sonido. Las 3 zonas de impacto de los platillos tampoco acabo de verlos (la campana del ride por ejemplo). Si es cierto que algunos sonidos predeterminados tienen la campana del ride por defecto al golpearle pero no he encontrado ningn sonido predeterminado donde pueda golpear de un modo u otro para que suene un golpe normal de ride o un golpe la campana del ride. No tiene la cantidad de presets de bateras que pueden tener algn modelo superior, sin embargo son bastantes los que tiene bajo mi opinin para poder disfrutar de diferentes sonidos.

Easy to assemble, high quality look and feel, excellent sound.
This was an upgrade for me, the reason being that this kit you can adjust the sounds and volume of each Tom and Cymbal. However, the Cymbals are not duel zone, unlike the Toms. I decided to return the Surge and buy the Crimson II SE, on which the cymbals can be adjusted.
I connect a high-end computer speaker set with subwoofer when it’s ok to make some noise, and use headphones other times. It’s a little better with the headphones, since you can’t hear the sound of the sticks on the rubber cymbals that way. Lots of sound options, and you can even tweak some of the presets and save custom ones. Also lots of functions for practice. The main downside for me, when compared to a real drum set, is how small the pads are.
I needed to convert ta an electronic mesh drum kit because they are very quiet. The kit I had was rubber padded and was noisy. Also, I have limited space, so this kit was perfect for me. It does have the ability to fold for storing. The box is heavy. Most likely because the frame is chrome steel. It’s very sturdy. The set up was very easy. I am left handed so I had to set it up, “backwards”. Once completely set up, everything worked perfectly and I knew I made the right decision. I liked the various pre programmed kits and musical percussion sounds. Easy to understand the basic functions. I liked this kit so much that I purchased the, “expansion kit”. Because the kit was set up in reverse I need extension cables but needed them for the expansion (1-drum 1-cymbal) kit too. I use nylon tip sticks so as to not tear up the mesh heads. Excellent inexpensive drum kit….
I had this kit and really liked it. For the money, it is a great value. TIP: When you first set it up, before you add any of the drum holders, make sure the legs are straight. When I set it up, after all the drums were attached and I started using the kit, I realized one of the vertical legs was not straight. The kit was still usable, but the aesthetics were off a little. I was not going to disassemble the whole thing to fix the stand, but I was more cautious the next time I set up a kit.
Wanted to get a kit to play in my apartment and start playing again after 20 years. The kit is what it says so I cannot complain howeber it certainly does not feel like playing an acoustic set. The feel of it is much different and the size of the drum pads are very small. This is not a criticism directed at Alesis. It is what it is I was just hoping for a more realistic feel. I think for somebody who plays or has played it is worth looking at the higher end kits. This is more of a toy.
The Command kit with extra 300 sounds and 40 more kits is not really worth it. The sound quality and the sample audio tracks are terrible. So unless you need the USB input to load your wav files, save the money and go with the Surge kit version. In any case most of the good tracks can be taken from the phone anyways. Not sure if there are material or quality differences between the two, but if the only difference is the kit module, then it is not worth it imho.
Other than that, the KIT is fantastic, great quality and sensibility, solid structure. It is not as silence as I thought. It is quite noisy when hitting the meshes. Particularly if you live with family, it is noisy for them to hear the hits.

Batteria fatta veramente bene e di ottima fattura con prezzo proporzionato. La spedizione stata pessima, in ritardo pur essendo Prime Premium stata affidata a SDA che non consegna i fine settimana. Doveva arrivare il venerd ed arrivata luned successivo.
Avevo provato una batteria Roland di un amico, di qualit e prezzo molto superiori (intorno a 2.500 euro) e debbo dire che non ho sentito moltissima differenza. Ammetto che la mia esperienza sulla “batteria” parziale e non significativa, ma la sensazione che questa batteria, per iniziare, sia molto adatta.
When my kit arrived, at the end of set up, i went to look for the module itself only to find it missing from the box! I contacted Amazon support who put me through to the supplier via email and they in turn contacted Alsesis, who sent me the missing module stat with no questions asked. Excellent service from both Record Junkie and Alesis! The kit itself is incredible: solid, responsive, nice looking and super fun to play! I can’t wait to connect it to Logic for a sea of new sounds-
I’m not the drummer, my son is. He tells me that this set is not just for beginners but for established players as well.

Es macht einfach Fun. Der Sound der Drum-Kits ist echt klasse. Und vom Aussehen macht es auch was her. Ich habe ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Roland Kit. Bei Roland war ich mit den Sounds nicht zufrieden. Dabei habe ich, im Vergleich zum Alesis, fr das Roland-Kit richtig tief in die Tasche greifen mssen. Bei Alesis finde ich das Preis/Fun-Verhltnis einfach genial. Das Roland Kit bersteht sicherlich von der Stabiltt her einen Bombenangriff besser, weil es mega stabil ist. Aber darauf kommt es bei mir nicht an. Die Sounds sind es und die Optik, die mich berzeugt haben. Ein tolles Kit zu einem tollen Preis. Knnte man sogar on Stage verwenden.
Per essere una batteria elettronica da molto il senso di realta grazie anche alle pelli mesh.
Ovviamente la consiglio per chi agli inizi e non vuole spendere cifre esorbitanti, buona anche per livelli intermedi. Ottimo rapporto qualit prezzo

Da ex possessore di una EX Alesis DM10, posso dire che sicuramente questa serie di batterie elettroniche di Alesis rappresenta un importante passo in avanti rispetto ai prodotti precedenti.
Sicuramente, per il costo della batteria elettronica, probabilmente una tra le poche ad offrire cos tanto in termini di hardware: pelli mesh, pad bi-zona, pad per la cassa.
L’unico punto debole, sicuramente, rappresentato dalla bassissima qualit dei suoni interni, dotati di pochissima dinamica, che risultano piuttosto “finti”.
Buona la risposta dinamica dei PAD, specialmente se collegata ad un virtual instrument.
Per un principiante o semplicemente per chi voglia “suonare la batteria”, un ottimo strumento.
Reso effettuato a causa dell’inadeguatezza dei suoni interni, purtroppo per me pregiudicanti per un’esperienza ottimale senza dover necessariamente collegare strumenti esterni.
Great set of drums, The picture makes the drums look bigger than they are, hence i hesitated buying them. However i took the plunge and was surprised how compact the set is, they fit neatly into the corner. They are light yet very sturdy and the sound is amazing. All in all a very good set of drums for a reasonable price.

I played for many, many years on an acoustic set “back in the day” but have not played anything in 25 years. I was always opposed to electronic drums back then as they were imposters. However, I must say technology has changed dramatically. These are really, really good for the price. They number of custom drum kits you can make (16) is far more than I need.
Set up is fairly straight forward. Adjustments for every size person is super easy. The answer wis very likely yes to any questions on this topic, eg. height of ______ , angle of _____, you get the idea. It is all adjustable.
Had 1 minor issue with the sensor inside the snare and Alesis customer service was excellent. Prompt (a few days) in getting back to me and they sent a new drum.
This is the best value for the money when I compared all the kits around. All mesh, DUAL zone for each drum, so yes, I have 4 cymbals on the rims of each tom [ 🙂 ] plus the 3 actual cymbals.
If you are really advanced and feel the need for dual/triple zone cymbals with your dual zone drums, ALesis has that kit for that too.
Sehr gutes Drummerset. Aufbau etwas schwierig weil nicht genau erkennbar ist wie die gebogenen Stangen richtig montiert werden.
Preis/Leistung ok
I am brand new to drumming, so not tried any other sets and not an expert. Always wanted to learn so thought I would give it a try, read reviews and all sites pointed beginners to these. Pretty easy to set up (probably took me 30-45mins) and they look great once set up. All the mesh drums are really sensitive and responsive and feel nice when playing. Sound samples are OK, first one is my main one, the rest are nice to have but for learning, the 1st one is the main one. No delay that I can tell and generally really happy with these! Been playing a couple of hours a day and already getting into it and loving these drums.
One thing is to make sure you get a decent set of headphones for them. Weirdly, I have some old Sennheiser HD595 which sound fantastic on these drums, where my brand new Audio Technica MX50’s just sound tinny and distant, so if things do not sound great, it may be the headphones and the type of sound coming out (need a good range for the low bass and the high rides).
Solamente un p di difficolt nel trovare il giusto set-up della cassa ed un p di limiti nell’hi-hat che per ovvi motivi non pu riprodurre fedelmente un pedale tradizionale.
Das Schlagzeug kam hervorragend verpackt, ganz zu meiner Freude einen Tag vor angegebenem Lieferdatum an. Insgesamt hat die Lieferung vom Bestellzeitpunkt bis zur Ankunft 3 Werktage in Anspruch genommen.
Das Drumset ist alleine in ca. einer Stunde aufgebaut, die Beschreibung ist dabei sehr simpel und verstndlich gehalten, Sticks wurden auch mitgeliefert.
Insgesamt berzeugt das Schlagzeug mit einem sehr hochwertigen, klaren Sound, wobei zahlreiche unterschiedliche Module ausgewhlt sowie eigene eingespielt werden knnen.
Das fr mich beste und wichtigste feature ist zweifelsohne die AUX-Verbindung zu einem Gert (Tablet, Laptop, Handy) ihrer Wahl. Dadurch knnen ganz entspannt per Youtube Drumlessons oder Lieblingslieder abgespielt werden, wozu man jammen kann. Dabei werden die beiden Tonspuren (also die des Drumset sowie die der Audioquelle) perfekt miteinander vermischt. So kann man nahtlos auf eine riesige Bandbreite kostenloser Schlagzeuglektionen und Drumalong-Tracks aus dem Internet zugreifen und tglich an seinen Skills arbeiten.
Zusammenfassend kann ich guten Gewissens 5/5 Sterne verteilen. Das Drumset eignet sich fr Anfnger, Wiedereinsteiger aber auch Fortgeschrittene. Ich spiele nun ca. seit einem Monat wieder tglich und verspre nicht im geringsten das Bedrfnis, auf ein teureres Modell umzusteigen und qualitativ eignen sich auch definitiv einige Module fr kleinere Studioaufnahmen.
Preis-Leistungsverhltnis stimmt – klare Kaufempfehlung!
Bought for my daughter to learn with, I’m now addicted myself. Brilliant robust quality bit of kit. Just don’t expect a quiet evening as seen with earphones on the thuds are noticeable. But you can buy sound reducing mats apparently.
Still enjoying these. Great buy and at a low price at the time.
Ive only had it 1 month but I am more than pleased with it. Internal sounds are a little digitally plasticy-tin-ee sounding and I mean only a little. I wouldn’t use the module sounds for a professional gig, however amazing for practicing on just hope it lasts!!
Premesso che sono un principiante, quindi con esigenze no particolari. Detto ci, fantastica. Ho una batteria acustica, che non suonavo mai, ora suono tutti i giorni. Occupa poco spazio, il realismo delle pelli ottimo. Consigliatissima.

he overall drumset is very easy to assemble. it is very sturdy and trigger is very responsive..
it can be hit quite hard.. I am very happy using this.. Sounds are decent for a beginner to intermediate player
A lot of the tutorial tracks can be played with or without drum portion, but just plug in a phone and play along to your favorite band.. noise(on cymbals) is also there but I’ve got no complaints from neighbors yet
recommend getting a sennheisser HD280 pro, and an XDrum double bass pedal..
So far, my son is really happy with this set. He had before a cheaper one, butsome parts broke after couple of months.
This set is well made, and setting each pad / cymbal can be done with several adjustments (height rotation, tilt, space between each pad).
Everuy bar is made with metal, not hard plastic. So it feels and is solid. Assembly is really easy.
The control panel has a lots of settings / songs, and seems versatile. You can even change / configure how each pad will sound; whereas pre-defined ones are already set (he plays xylophon !!).

I am an amateur drummer. I have played drums in many alternative rock bands – and I can play 4/4 and rock out as needed. I bought this kit because the mesh heads seemed like a good idea. And, I was right. The mesh heads give a very real feeling response. Assembly was time consuming, but not too bad. The instructions, believe it or not, had no words! Just pictures! However, they actually provided all the information you needed. Finding the plug ins for all the toms, snare and cymbals was difficult at first. I love how you can change the sound of each piece (tom, cymbal, snare, etc.). I am using my bass amp (200 W Peavy) to hear what I am playing right now, and it sounds CLEAN. I am playing along to live music on my sound system and it is REALLY fun (I started playing to Pearl Jam “Black” first). I really like this kit and think the price and quality are great. I think Alesis is going to make a name for its self in the e-kit arena.
It has everything my kid needs, it’s a brilliant idea they take split payment transactions. They do use some good quality martial to build this set and the mesh drum heads are quite silent. Having favorite songs coped to a USB stick to play with is so much fun.
Saw it recommended somewhere, and it works out of the box without extra software (in the public alpha builds). Does work perfecly and it’s probably overkill, but I’m entirely satisfied so I consider it money well spent.
Look at all the cool stuff we get into during Covid-19 SIP restrictions! I bought this as a gift and subtracted a star purely because Amazon uses UPS delivery, who for no known reason, routed this package literally to the other end of the country prior to delivery. It was late by almost 2-weeks, which I want to point out that it was 30 minutes away from the delivery address prior to going on a road trip. Once delivered, the box was a mess and thus the surprise ruined. From what I hear though, it’s not damaged and sounds Amazing. There are some things he’d prefer to be different, yet this is worth every penny and golds up nicely when you need to tuck it away.

El pad del bombo se daa fcilmente, debes realizar golpes suaves para evitar que la malla se dae, y por consiguiente el sensor, en mi caso tuve que reemplazarlo por un pad de goma Yamaha, aunque con ese accesorio mi kit ya no esta completo en su versin original, puedo decir que el resto es sumamente recomendable. muy prctico, con sonidos muy reales, con alta sensibilidad y sensacin de parches acsticos. A no ser por el pad del bombo la podra calificar como perfecta
And the base pedal isn’t precise like a real one, hard to make the double beat, or perhaps there’s some adjustments to it I’ve not found. The pluses are many however. Size, quietness. No need sound proof room. Enjoying my purchase immensely.
This does not compete with the top-end roland v-drums, but for my purposes it’s perfect. I’m primarily a keyboardist producing music alone in my home studio. I can play drums just well enough to lay down a basic groove for my compositions. The feel I get from this kit is already a huge improvement over my finger drumming. I also like the practice features that help by providing feedback when I play off beat. The mesh heads are nice and the cymbal mute feature means I can usually play what I feel naturally and the kit just works. I use this kit to trigger Logic, Ableton, AD2 & other drum sound libraries, and it does play well with others. For beginners, hobbyists and drummers looking to explore the transition to e-drums, I recommend this set. It’s a good value for the price. Enjoy and happy drumming!
This kit produces a great sound, the mesh pads are very responsive, and best of all it’s quiet. Even the kick tower only produces a dull thunk sound, which the neighbours won’t notice.
I deliberated between the Surge and Nitro kits, and I’m so glad I opted for the Surge. The mesh kick tower is quieter than I imagine the rubber kick tower on the Nitro would be, and the adjustable frame is good for saving space. As I may be moving from place to place in future, a kit that’s easy to assemble and adjustable is precisely what I needed.
Ordinary headphones can be plugged into the headphone jack; they don’t have to be fancy. You can also plug your phone into the drum module and play along to tracks.
My one concern was dust getting into the mesh pads and affecting the sensors, but a lightweight dust sheet quickly resolved this.
First time I ever tried an electronic drum kit. I was not sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. Quality is really good the mesh heads are pretty good at replicating the real thing but with them being relatively small you need to be a really good shot so as not to keep hitting the rims. Plenty of sound choices to play with. The only real criticism is the volume through headphones is quite low. Brilliant for practise but will never replace the real thing.
I have never played a real set of drums so I cannot compare it to an acoustic kit.
To set up probably took about an hour to figure it all out and then adjusting the height and position once put together.
It’s great fun and easy to find drum tabs to learn songs. It’s worth watching some videos to learn about the unit and how to do different stuff in the kit mode or learning mode. There’s also lots of song tutorials for the drums you can find that are easy to play and sound good.
There’s lots of pre set kits and when learning a song or beat I scroll through to find closest sound to what I want.
The pads are fairly quiet but the bass pedal you can hear downstairs so I added some foam boards under the pedal to drown out the noise.
Really happy with the kit and lots to play around with to improve your playing and to find the sound your after.
My drum practice days ended the day we decided to have an Airbnb rental at our house – but now I can practice again! The sound is okay, not amazing but the ability to play anytime I want now is priceless. It’s a really nice set and feels similar enough to the real thing to be very satisfying. The cymbals feel the most different. The mesh heads are wonderful. I have had some problems with my Iphone XR saying that the drum module is not a compatible accessory. (UPDATE: I changed to a male to male aux cord with a little iphone adapter for the end and now it works). Oddly it will start playing for about 2 minutes and then I’ll get that error message. I tried different cords etc. and finally gave up and I’m using my laptop instead and that has been working fine. For the price it is terrific. I love that I can make a royal mess of things trying to work out new fills without having to be self conscious that my whole neighborhood is being subjected to my experiments. I can play in peace to my heart’s content. I really love it. It’s not absolutely silent but quite quiet. People in the next room may be able to faintly make out some tapping noises, but they can’t be heard outside the house or on a different floor inside the house. It feels like a miracle. So happy.
This is a brilliant kit. From first setting it up it feels solid and looks great. The support bars are notched inside, so will never rotate no matter how hard the pads are hit. The mesh heads are quiet and feel better to play than my acoustic kit! The only thing that does make some noise is the bass pad and pedal (the kick pad). The drum voices sound great and can be eadilychanged, so you can go from an acoustic kit to a rock kit (or pop or funk or Indian kit etc etc) at the press of a button. The Hihat pedal is really responsive and sound great, it is very responsive and behaves almost like my acoustic kit with a variable opening action. The whole kit is great but I think the Hihat action was perhaps the most impressive after reading reviews of other older kits.
I’ve played acoustic drums on and off for 40 years but if an edrum kit of this standard had been available, I would have got one years ago.

NOTE TO ALESIS: you STILL NEED to redesign this snake at production to provide a longer wire to the snare drum!
Altogether, it’s a good kit for a light-use, (home hobby; studio) application.
I decided to get back into drumming after a long time off. The product is excellent, and i only removed a star because if you live in an apartment then you will need to buy or make your own drum riser to reduce the sound of the bass pedal. Neighbors will be at the door if not as you are essentially stamping on the floor.
El banco de sonidos es muy variado, la sensacin de tocar una batera acustica no se pierde. Me encanta porque no tengo mucho espacio en casa y se puede desmontar para guardarse.
Nanmoins, si vous tes expriments, le kit risque de ne pas vous satisfaire : la pdale du charleston a un trs lger (mais prsent) temps de raction, le module n’est pas vraiment complet (investir pour le Command Mesh Kit peut valoir le coup ?), le rack est un peu court et gne le placement du module et du charleston, les cymbales font le mme sons que vous tapez lgrement au dessus ou un coup franc sur le bord. Sinon, la sensation n’est clairement pas mauvaises sur les fts, s’amuser changer les sons de diffrentes cymbales peut s’avrer trs amusant, la grosse caisse est un peu bruyante.
S’enregistrer est compliqu, prfrez passer sur le Command Mesh Kit si vous y comptez.
Vous pourrez difficilement dplacer vos fts (pour avoir 1 tom devant, 2 au sol par exemple), car les cbles sont fait de manire aller jusqu’ destination, mais pas plus loin.
L’emballage est trs propre (et encombrant, ce qui est normal)
Un point ngatif : les pdales sont dots de surfaces scratch, mais pas d’antidrapants. J’espre que vous avez des scratchs coller votre sols, sinon, elles glisseront. Attention en les retirant de leur cartons : elles sont dots de vis vers le sol, si vous n’avez pas de tapis, elles se feront un plaisir de rayer votre carrelage.
Two keys to this one over others. Price point and features. The Surge kit comes with a larger snare. That makes it slightly better than the Nitro, as well as having more sounds built in. As a beginner, I don’t need a performance ready kit. This will do just fine for beating the skins and learning as I go. Experimenting with sounds and kit combinations is down the road a way.
I highly recommend this as a great home kit for beginners and novices alike.
I adore this kit! Fantastic for practicing or gigs. I bought this kit and played a gig on it a week later and it was fantastic. Loads of kit sounds and very responsive. Takes a little bit of adjusting for the symbol sounds depending on what amp or output you are using. Also looks great!
I am not deeply versed with sound banks for electronic drum kits, but I have a saved kit with the Surge that perfectly fits my taste, and I enjoy tooling around with all the others. I’m sure that there are better ones out there, but for what you’re getting at this price point? It’s pretty amazing.
I DON’T love the hi-hat pedal. And the kinds/levels of hi-hat responsiveness is . . . decidedly limited. But again, for the price point, I’d be INSANE to complain or say that it’s a deal-breaker.
The snare and tom playability and variable sonic response are IMPRESSIVE. Lots of subtlety.
The big crash sounds sometimes choke themselves in the mix with a larger, busier drum performance. It’s a bit jarring, but as above . . . for the money, not an issue.
This has been a real joy. Would I ever use this live? HELL no. But I enjoy the kit daily, and that’s everything I could have hoped for.

Once it’s built it’s simply amazing. The preprogrammed sounds are all spiffing, the mesh drums feel really good to drum on and connecting it up to an amplifier or computer audio system is dead easy. I suppose it would have been nice if some more drums would’ve been multi-zone, but it doesn’t really matter as you can adjust so many parameters of the drum processing system, using the attached control box, that you can make this drumkit sing in any way you desire. You can adjust these using midi using the midi ports or midi over usb. The price is incredibly keen, given the power, flexibility and pure enjoyability of drumming on it – that’s a joy. If you are cash limited save up and get this. Cheaper systems are a fool’s bargain and more expensive systems have features Homer musicians don’t really need.
I love my drumkit, I recommend it with great happiness knowing it’ll bring a smile to the face of everyone who gets one!

Had my kit for a few months now and it’s fantastic! Love the feel and ease of use. Great product for a great price.
El producto es excelente y el empaque una maravilla con una instrucciones impecables para el armado. Es un kit para principiantes. El nico problema es que vino con una pieza rota un tornillo partido y debido a eso hay que devolver el producto completo y el dinero no lo reembolsa por lo menos en dos semanas.
Al ser un producto importado no se puede solicitar factura.
We ran into one problem where after 6months the bass drum had a whole in the mesh where the kick hits the mesh. I contacted the company via warranty claim and the first thing they did was send me a new mesh to replace the one with a whole.
Then they proceeded to inform me that the felt side of the kick beater should not be used on the Mesh and instead I should turn the beater around so the hard plastic hits the mesh and I should have no more problems.
This is the way customer service should be! Replace the part then give advice.
That being said if you buy this kit save yourself the trouble by installing the kick beater with the hard plastic side hitting the Mesh drum.
He set it up to test it the day it arrived . I haven’t seen such a boyish grin on his face for a very long time.
I think for the money it is well worth eveery penny.
He ran through some of the programs -he had a great deal of fun with number 17 (Bongos)- and he really likes the versatility of the setings. It’s now been packed away again until Christmas so I might get back to you when he’s had more experience with it. So far so good!! 🙂
– excellent quality chrome stand. fixtures are top notch. easy to adjust
– mesh heads are really nice. High quality. Drum sticks reflect off the surface like a real drum
– I use a real drum set during lessons. The feel and response is very similar
– Normal drum sets are loud. This is reasonable … but the sounds, even on the mesh heads, are a bit louder than I expected
– Love the ability to mix in music and to play along
– can change the sound of any of the drums and cymbals. I ended up using the default
Cons
– instructions for setup weren’t entirely obvious. But not too bad
– even the online video wasn’t clear. For example, several of the pieces are bowed. Should they bow in or out? Also, I realized after the fact that the support fixtures work better one way than the other
– the electronic control box is complicated. Even after having read the instructions 3 times, it was not obvious to me how to record and replay sessions. For example, there is no glossary. The use terms like “kit” and “voice”. After some playing, realized that “kit” refers to the entire drum set, and that “voice” refers to the sounds generated by any one drum or cymbal. That said, I find I use the control module is a pretty basic manner: w/ music or using the metronome.
Still, I love this set, and am incredibly happy w/ my purchase and selection. If like me, you are returning to drumming after a several decade hiatus, and don’t want to annoy your other household guests, this is the set for you.
Updated after a few months. Hasn’t imploded. Sure takes a beating. Love it even more now.

En terminos de la compra, el producto se preparo para envio mucho antes de lo que yo esperaba al ver que practicamente ninguna tienda lo tenia disponible y al ser usuario de Amazon Prime, fue excelente el precio al aprovechar el envio sin costo (es un producto que costaria +4000 si se importara sin ese beneficio por volumen y peso.
