I was going to get the KitchenAid set but the Amazon basics had the saucepan I wanted and I decided to try them for the money. I’m glad I did. For $89 or whatever it was it’s a great deal. So far nothing has stuck and they’re very easy to clean. Love the silicone handles.

I haven’t had them for long but I do cook about six days of the week and they really are a great addition to my kitchen.
I honestly don’t know what kind of material they are but they are very well-made and nothing sticks to them, nothing at all. I really hate cooking but they make cooking easier for me and if I have to cook I might as well do it in something that’s gonna make the whole process easy which they definitely do! 100% will recommend everyone buy these.
However after 2 months of cooking with them I have to say I am very surprised at the quality. They Are of medium weight and distribute heat quite well. Lids are a good fit and clean up is easy.
Simply follow the care instructions and these will see you through a lot of cooking
Really nice set of pans which feel sterdy and good quality. I have been impressed throughout and really enjoyed using them. My only comment would be that the handle can get hot under the silicon covering but not dangerous. I also couldn’t clean some burn marks off the small frying pan. All in all really worth the money and happy with these pans
After lot of research we got it.it is absolutely dishwasher friendly.easy to wash. Well built,perfect size for a family of 3 to 4.beautiful.without a second thought you can go for it.

I love these! They come with so many different pieces and options! There gorgeous! The color is gorgeous! I’ve been putting these in the dishwasher without any issues!
In with the new! No matter how hard we try, with the number of family members and visitors we had (before the virus), it was impossible to keep folks from using metal spatulas, etc, on our cookware – so we ended up with dents and scratches – and a mess to clean up. So, this new set, and new tools is very welcome – 12 pieces will take care of all our needs and fit our storage available nicely. This new set cooks really well – even heating and super easy to clean. Very pleased.

Our other cookware of course is a bit worse for the wear, so I was thrilled to try this new set from Amazon Basics! The 12-piece non-stick set is constructed of thick aluminum with a hard exterior coating that makes it easy to use and easy to clean. We have not had any issues with food sticking to the set, which can be attributed to the non-stick interior coating. I do NOT know if that coating is teflon or something else, but that’s what I would compare it to. The set includes tempered glass lids, so you can easily see what you are cooking.
Perhaps the thing we like the most is that the handles are silicone coated. They are soft and stay cool to the touch, and have a light texture. That means they are non-slip and easy to move around without being burned by heat transfer!
Overall a great set that was selling for a really affordable price at last check. We have not had any issues with this cookware, so I can definitely recommend it. If anything changes, I will update this review.
First of all, the red handles are very attractive, but also they have a nice soft-ish grippy feel to them and they stay cool during cooking. Each handle appears to be a solid piece of stainless steel (aside from the red grip) and they are attached (welded?) to the side of the pans with rivets. They are very sturdy and I think will last a long time.
The non-stick surface looks and performs as you would expect from high-quality non-stick pans, but the instructions do recommend you season it first. There’s nothing like a brand new nonstick pan for cooking on — food just slides right off and clean-up is a breeze. In my experience, the non-stick surface on pans does not hold up forever, after a few years it ends up beginning to degrade, even when I am careful to use non-metal utensils. So, time will tell how long the non-stick surface lasts on these. Of course it is typically the pans that get the most use that wear out soonest, as well as the pans that have lots of utensils scraping up food on them, so for me that means skillets usually wear out before sauce pots. Again, time will tell and proper care will help a lot. The two plastic utensils included in this set are a nice bonus to get you started in caring for your pans properly. IMHO silicone utensils are best for non-stick pans, and avoiding high heat that burns your food onto the pan’s surface is also key in keeping non-stick pans stay new as long as possible.
This set includes six pans that pretty much cover what you’d need in a typical home kitchen. While the larger skillet and stock pot are not huge, they are certainly adequate for cooking for the average family. The straight-sided skillet (or saute pan? I’m not sure what to call that one) is slightly larger than the larger open skillet. The smaller open skillet is a good size for cooking breakfast for one or two. There are two sauce pans, the smaller one a great size for cooking sauces or heating up canned soups or veggies, and the larger one perfect for making a family-sized serving of rice. There are four tempered glass lids as well. Two of the lids are exactly the same size, and fit the stock pot and the straight-sided skillet. One of the smaller lids fits the smaller open skillet, but I am a little surprised that none of the lids fit the larger open skillet. Obviously “open” means it has no lid, but in other cookware sets I’ve had, the lid for the stock pot would also fit the larger skillet. I do like these glass lids because they let you see inside the pot, and also because they can be washed in the dishwasher. The instructions say the pots and pans can also be put in the dishwasher, but recommend hand washing. I agree with this but when it comes to the lids, I am not worried about putting them in the dishwasher since they are glass and stainless steel rather than the hard-anodized non-stick surface of the pans.
Overall I am very pleased with this set. The six pots and pans are perfect for someone who needs to stock an empty kitchen, or for someone who wants to get rid of their old, worn out set and start over fresh with a complete new set. These pieces definitely have the look and feel of that “unnamed expensive brand” of hard-anodized cookware, other than the red handles and the Amazon named stamped on the bottom. The quality seems right on par, as does the cooking performance. Nice job, Amazon.

This cookware is awesome and is truly non-stick. I also love how bright the color is. I use them everyday and they still look brand new. These would be perfect for newlyweds or new home owners. Shipping was quick!

This set is absolutely superb. Note that, as with most of these sets, the “12 pieces” includes a spatula and ladle as well as four lids; you get six pots/pans.
I’m becoming more and more of a fan of nonstick kitchenware even though I still have to stick to my tried-and-true steel and cast iron for many things; this, however, nonetheless does a superb job of evenly heating and cooking. I’ve used all of them, including the two utensils, and they seem fairly durable. The utensils might be just about “average,” but the rest are of excellent quality.
I’m also quite a fan of the colors; I also acquired a similar AmazonBasics set with a red plus black finish; these just look sharp.
The handle does stay surprisingly cool, and the leads are a nice, stable design that allows for “stacking” (or at least, making a hill out of lids…) and is generally everything one needs in kitchenware.
I wasn’t looking for a new pot set but decided to give these a try anyway. I love them and they have replaced my Paula Dean set I have had for a few years now. Wash nicely. Food doesn’t stick. Couldn’t be happier.
I didnt have high Hope’s for this set because its was so cheap. Usually you get what you pay for. This is not the case. This is a cheaper set but it’s made like a high quality set. I love it. Weve used these pans everyday for the last month or so and there is no warping. The coating is still like new. They are very easy to clean. I love the pads on the handles. They really help guard you from the heat and they are very comfortable to hold.
They aren’t as heavy as I would like, which means the heat isn’t distributed as evenly as it could be. But they aren’t cheap and flimsy either. They seem well put together and should last many years. But they are nonstick and nonstick pans quickly become rather useless if they aren’t cared for properly.
Another drawback is they are aluminum and can’t be used with my induction cooktop. But I knew that when I ordered them. If you prefer to cook using induction you should be aware of that. Fortunately, I also have electric burners and they work fine with those.
They are nice-looking and the red handles add a touch of color to the kitchen when they are in use.
Overall, they are decent quality, should last a while, and are worth the price.

It includes 3 pots with lids, 3 frying pans (1 with lid), a spatula, and a ladle. The nonstick feature works very well. You can really see it with water as it glides on the surface. The equipment itself is nothing fancy, but it does the job.
This would be a great starter set for a single person in a new apartment, a college student just moving out from his or her parents, or anyone who cooks simple meals regularly.

First of all, I like cooking at home very much. I have tried various non-stick pans, and the quality of this product is still very good.
I only buy ceramic pots and pans, because I don’t want excess aluminum, iron, or perfluorooctanoic acid (what makes Teflon products “non-stick”) in my body. My only decent option is to go with ceramic-coated products, like the ones contained in this set.
This is a nice set that has two skillets, one large and the other smaller. It also has two sauce pots, again, one larger and one smaller. It also has a soup pot that is fairly large, and a sautee pan. I am bad at identifying what each is called exactly, so I hope you get what I am saying.
All of them have glass lids. The set also comes with a plastic spatula and a soup ladle.
With ceramic, just be careful to not heat the burner too quickly, because otherwise the life of the pan will be compromised. I know this from experience with ceramic pans in the past.
Overall, this is an awesome set and is perfect for my cooking needs.
This is a beautiful set of cookware. The cookers are not thin and seem very durable. They heat evenly and do not stick. They wash very well even in the dishwasher. The utensils are nice and not flimsy but very durable. The lids are also thick and will not break easily. The skillets are just the right size for almost anything you need to cook. Good Value for the money in my opinion.
However, they were shipped straight from china.
Two weeks later the outside is chipping, which is OK, at least it’s not the inside.

Says “AMAZON BASICS” in big bold on the back of these pans, not entirely great branding or confidence builder, just awkward and frankly a little embarrassing if guests catch it.
My wife says that she likes that the pots, pans and the utensils appear to be made with good quality glass, stainless steel and aluminum materials and they seem to be sturdy, durable, sturdy and she likes that the glass lid comes with a steam escape release. We do like that these pans, pots and utensils are easy to clean and wash. Considering the quality, the quantity and the price point, the cookware appear to be great value for money. I would definitely recommend them.
The set is very well made. All parts securely attached. No wobbly or flimsy handles or lids. Good quality pans and lids. The pans and lids look and feel sturdy and that it will last for a while with normal wear and tear. All the lids fit as they should nice and securely. The pans are easy to grip by the handles. I’ve used the different pieces about 5 times already and so far the nonstick coating still looks good and because they are non stick, it allows for effortless cooking as well as they heat up quickly. The pans cook evenly and it’s a nice looking set.
The included utensils (2) suck. Flimsy plastic garbage. However if you’re buying a big pan set the utensils aren’t something you’re really wanting to go after anyway. Even with soft water these do get water spots badly. Sometimes I need to wipe them down before using and they definitely stand out on the grey ceramic coating.

The variety of pans in this set work very well to give you many cooking options. After tempering the pans with cooking oil as instructed I put these to work. Overall I am pleased with their non stick coating. I will say to pay attention to the sizes of the pans. You’re definitely not cooking a family meal in these as their size is more suited towards 2-3 person meals. I am very pleased these were flat and worked well with my glass top stove.
I’ve owned these pots for a few weeks now. I have yet used all of the pots and pans but they work great so far. I have cooked on the stock-pot, fry pan, and the deeper skillet. It’s truly non-stick that means less oil for me to use and consume. The food were cooked and tasted great. I had no issues with heating while cooking. However, it does heat faster than stainless steel cookware.
Prior to these pots, I have the big pots and pans for parties & guests but not so ideal for a typical meal for my family. So, I am used to cooking big meals but not great when I have leftovers that can’t fit in the freezer. The sizes on these are great especially when it is just for my family. I can use four pots/pans at the same time without overcrowding my stove. This is a plus because the neighboring pot/pan handles don’t get hot and less chances of me burning my fingers.
These are light cookware, easy to carry. They are also very easy to clean, no chipping.
These pots and pans are fantastic. The nonstick is amazing. The large stock pot, I use it multiple times a week. The lids all come with a little hole to let out steam and prevent overboiling. This also comes with a plastic spatula and ladle, which is great as my old ones were metal and that can strip the nonstick coating. These have now replaced my old pots and pans entirely and I couldn’t be happier.

They are made of an Aluminum alloy which makes them very lightweight and get heated quickly. The exterior has a matte smooth surface that seems to be very durable. They are thick enough for regular use in the home kitchen. The cleaning of the interior and exterior surfaces is very simple and easy. The set is really non-stick and the non-stick layer seems to be durable enough and resistant to regular scratches.
The glass lids have high quality and are thick enough not to make them very heavy. I also liked the red silicone handles that stay cool during cooking and are comfortable to grip especially when you have higher amounts of food or hot water in the pots.
My only concern with the current cookware set is that they are completely flat on the bottom. I think having some types of groves or a circular pattern could help to promote the heat distribution and enhance the cooking quality. I’m also afraid that they may slip or move on the stovetop with a minor unintentional side force or pressure during cooking (see the picture).
Other than this issue, I think they are a complete cookware set made of high-quality Aluminum and a beautiful modern design that has a good value for the price.
Not heavy but not light, made well, should hold up if you take care of. Good quality and the prefect size for all your needs.

The set is a little lightweight, not like the heavier—and more expensive—pieces.
It cooked up just fine a number of items we eat on a regular basis. Lots of excellent non-stickativity, no problems at all. Nothing cooked-on, nothing a mess to clean up. The seal for the lids on their pans is acceptable, but not tight. The seal is just fine for cooking rice and other cook-simmer dishes, but not for anything requiring a super-tight seal.
All pieces washed up just fine in the dishwasher.
The two included utensils are a bit flimsy. They get the job done, sure, but could be a little heftier.
Documentation: You get a one-page, double-sided info sheet in English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Dutch. What it says is that this is the “Aluminum 5 Piece Induction Non Stick Cookware Set, with Straining Function” [sic]. There is a tiny description of each pot/pan, and lots of warnings. Do not put any of these in an oven above 150C (300F). You can put it in the dishwasher, but they say handwashing is best.
For contact you get an Amazon UK (France, Germanyall of the countries with write-ups for the info sheet) review URL, and an Amazon UK contact-us URL. There is nothing about contact for a US consumer.
Price: Well, right now there is no online product site for this product, so who knows what its price is. Is it even for sale? I found an Amazon Basics 15-piece set that looks somewhat similar for about $52. I even looked searched for the ASIN, which is listed on the info sheet—nothing. So, if you can find this set online, think maybe in the $50 range. That’s the best I can do.
Bottom Line: This is a nice, entry-level cooking set for European Union export. It’s not high-end equipment, but gets the job done.
First of all, I didn’t have any issues with shipping. The pots, pans, and glass lids were very well packed and very securely in a thick AmazonBasic box.
The sizes are very accurate as described, I can use my T-Fal glass lids on the new pots, fit just right.
I washed them right after receiving the package and didn’t notice any chemical odor. These are good quality, the silicone handles stay cool and provides a non-slip grip. The handles are not flimsy.
I use them on gas stove. The bottom of the pans and pots looked slippery but was very stable on the stove. I would recommend using silicone or bamboo turner on them, to help with them lasting longer.
It’s over safe to 350 degree but I haven’t tried yet.
Please remind yourself that nonsticking pans should be replaced every year if you are using it daily, though it said PFOA free. I would highly recommend this AmazonBasic cookware .

First Impression – I really didn’t think these would be the best quality but I was surprised. They came well packaged and the non stick surface is an added benefit. As an adult I now understand the importance of having quality cookware and these fit the build.
In cooking my first meal over a gas stove they held their own and was super easy to clean afterwards. Just a reminder – do not use any heavy duty scrubber for these as it can scratch the coating.
I’m impressed.
When cooking the heat distribution is even. You don’t have to worry about only hot spots and spots that only get kinda hot. I though that issue was a stove issue but I learned that it’s not a stove issues, it’s a pan issue.
They come with tempered glass, which is a durable glass but will break if dropped hard enough but tempered glass is amazing because when broken it will crumble into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards as regular glass. Granular chunks are less likely to cause injury which is perfect if they mistakenly break.
They are coating with nonstick coating and you can cook without using a spray or oil. I made some eggs without coating the pan with oil and my eggs did not stick to the pans And when it came to removing it he eggs just slid right out of the pan. I wouldn’t recommend using these in the oven. It does state you can use these in the oven up until 350 degrees but this pan set is so beautiful I wouldn’t recommend just to be on the safe side.
You also get some cooking utensils with this set. The utensils are red and match the handle of the pots, they are well made, they don’t feel cheap like you picked them up from the dollar store. Always use the utensils that come with it when cooking, don’t use mental ones, you don’t want to scratch up your set.
When cleaning it’s super easy, you can use warm or hot water with some dawn dish soap. Your food just slides out of the pans because of the coating so you won’t need to do any scrubbing, just use a dish cloth or a sponge and give it a good soapy wipe down. You can place them in a drainer or hand dry them. They can go into the dishwasher but for longer lasting nonstick coating it’s recommend that you hand wash and try these.
These are worth every penny. I want another set as backup.
Maybe it’s because I haven’t gotten a new set of pots and pans in years, but these are amazing. The pan heated evenly and only took less than a minute to come clean with just a sponge and soap. The pot has been through the dishwasher as well with no issues. I’m VERY happy with the look and performance of this set. You can not beat the quality! Love my new pots and pans! 5 Stars! These are really nice pots and pans, they feel heavy and solid in your hand. They look really nice and classy too. The handles have grippy material to keep them from slipping or burning you. After cleaning them I fried an egg in the smallest fry pan and it slid around easily. It came with a spatula and a ladle which is a nice addition. I haven’t tried them in the oven yet, but it says they are oven safe up to 350. These should hopefully last a while.
I would say that if you buy the set, and you buy a larger stock pan and the 12.5 in frying pan, you will have a very nice and complete set of cookware for making about anything you want in the kitchen.
The nonstick.finisg works great and this set is very easy to clean and wash up. I love that I can toast bread in it, put cheese down directly on the pan, then put the bread down on the cheese and pick all that melted cheese up with the bread, leaving the pan looking clean and ready for the next piece. (I do that a lot with a bit of mozzarella when I make bruschetta.)
The handles are great. They are bolted on like a lot of much more expensive brands, Cuisinart stainless, for instance. They have a nice big hole on the end too, so it’s quite easy to hang the pots up overhead when I get done washing them. I like that the handles are made solid, so that food doesn’t get caught in any seams in them.
These pans are a little thin, so they heat up very fast. They heat evenly though and don’t seem to have any hot spots, so it’s easy enough to get used to them.
The lids fit well.
The 2 plastic utensils are basic, but useful, and serve to remind one to never use metal with the non-stick finishing.
I never expect nonstick cookware to last forever like my stainless triple clad will, but with proper care not to use metal utensils, forks or knives, it has lasted me several years with heavy use.

I am not new to AmazonBasics Cookware! We have had another set for about a year now. We decided to upgrade and our other set to our daughter’s apartment. A nice upgrade indeed!
The set is lighter weight than the more expensive leading brands, but it certainly gets the job done. It’s really nice having the non-stick feature back to life! When you have older kids cooking, your pots and pans can take a beating when they forget to use the right spatula! It’s certainly nice to be able to make an omelette again! We use silicone spatulas and spoons with them.
We put the kids in the dishwasher and hand wash the pots/pans because it’s just plain easier. Clean up is a breeze!
If you are looking to compare this to Analon or Calphalon, stop right there. They are in a league of their own, but so is the price tag. This is a very nice set and overall value. I like that it is lighter weight because my mom can cook with them when she is here. Some of our heavier pieces give her pause.
A nice gift for that first apartment, housewarming or just to update what you already own like we did!
In general, I have found that the AmazonBasics brand provides a cost effective product which functions similarly to the pricier “high-end” brands.
The set arrived complete and very well-protected in an Amazon Basics box with cardboard inserts and each item individually enclosed in a transparent plastic bag. As can be seen in the attached photo, the set comprises of large and small frying pans, three saucepans of varying depth/size, a large two-handled pot, glass lids, spatula and spoon. This set should cover the meal preparation needs of an average household and would make an excellent starter set for a young family or roommates.
Each pan appears to be well made; sturdy yet lightweight with a non-stick interior and an attractive ceramic exterior. The handles are solidly riveted to the base and have a silicone covering for better grip and thermal insulation; there is a hole in the end of the handle for ease of hanging when not in use. The glass lids sit well on the pan, and each has a small hole for venting steam.
We used the larger frying pan to cook some chicken Milanese; the heating effect and non-stick surface worked well, as expected, and the pan cleaned up easily after use.
If this set holds up to the test of time, it is a very good alternative to some of the pricier sets on the market.
I like this pot set! They are easy to clean, nothing sticks to them. They are dishwasher safe! The red handles are also nice!
I needed extra cookware for when I start cooking up large batches of meals to freeze for the year.
I can cook up one set of meals, get dirty pots in dishwasher, then immediately start another batch.
Love the bright red color of this set. And I like that the handles have rivets holding them on.
Since I only heat up or fry the basics of my sauces, then let them slowly cook in the oven, I’m not sure how well these would do sitting on a burner for a few hours.
For browning hamburger, great. Frying up bacon, works great. Cooking onions, peppers and such, works great.
I like the look and sturdiness of this set.
Having some extra cooking spoons is a big plus.
although this set is really nice its pretty heavy like a iron skillet heavy! Other then that true to none stick and easy to clean very happy with item
Not the fanciest set around but good enough and should last for a long time.
Summary: I would recommend this only if you want a beginner set of non stick pots and pans. This should last you 4-5 years depending on how you take care of it. You should still use oil (apply cold oil to your hot pan/pot as heating your oil with your pan usually causes the fats to go bad once overheated), use only wooden or silicone spatulas/whisks/ladles and also hand-wash without any abrasive scrubbers or steel wool. I tried frying an egg in each pot/pan and the eggs slid off easy enough.
Pros:
+ they definitely are non-stick (as good as name brands though? that’s debatable as I haven’t had these as long as my other ones but those were $100s rather than this)
+ this hits almost every size and volume that you would need for most dishes
+ the rivets are actually rivets and not screws as in other lower grade brands you find in grocery stores
+ value, these are the cheapest non-stick set that I could compare with other sets
Cons:
– the non-stick layer will not last long (in fact, non stick is not buy it for life) and once you see enough scrapes, you should replace the pan/pot
– the plastic ladle and spatula should not be used at all, they’re not good in hot settings. Maybe you can use them for cold foods?
