Over the course of approx 8 weeks these little pots were full of water having collected a substantial amount of damp from my bay window and bedrooms which suffer from condensation and mould during winter months.

We utilise these items in a gun cabinet to ensure that our guns are not attacked by moisture. Simple to install, the container sits on the bottom of the cabinet and simply does its job at removing moisture from the air, which otherwise could corrode and damage untreated metal.

Good value item, which requires no maintenance and simply gets on with its job.

Worth noting that don’t expect them to work for around 7 days. You will not see them working until the top crystals have absorbed enough to allow liquid to start filling up the bottom. Depending in the moisture in the area put in; this time frame will vary.

The crystals will be solid. This is normal.

We use them in a fitted wardrobe on an external wall and always fill up in winter. For us; they last around 2 months before changing.

Bought this because our walk-in wardrobe and bedroom window were creating humidity and mould. Took maybe a week and a half before it started working but once it did, we noticed a gigantic difference! No more mould in the wardrobe, completely gone. The humidity in the bedroom is significantly less, about 80% less I’d say. No more waking up to soaked a window and mould around it!
Eventually mould starts growing back but now it takes more than a month to grow back while before it was weekly.
Definitely worth it if you can’t afford an expensive dehumidifier, works very well.

Winter months our windows upstairs are a nightmare for condensation, one of these in each window has worked, one of them has filled half way in about 2 months, would highly recommend this product, we have wiped mould away with bleach and with this product the mould has not returned

I have a small soft top sports car (mx5), that spends much of its time in the South Midlands, generally wet for 3months of the year with little chance of drying out.
I put 12 of these in every year, the car stays dry and come spring time these are completely saturated (brimming) with water. Job done.

I have an ongoing problem in winter with moisture build up from condensation at the velux windows and found it time consuming to wipe them down and open wIndows to get rid of condensation each morning. I wasn’t sure if these would work but having tried the small hang up version over a rail inside a cupboard I could easily see the amount of moisture inside the bag which alerted me to a condensation issue so decided to give these a try. So far they have worked very well and I no longer need to wipe moisture away from the windows. I do still open my windows to let air in but don’t have to rush do it first thing in the morning which is a comfort over these past few weeks when we have had freezing cold weather conditions. I use protective gloves when handling the containers but all the safety information is listed on the boxes. I would advise keeping them out of reach of young children. A good buy for me and I will purchase more.

Used I’d built in wardrobes & cupboards in an old brick house ( outside wall ) and 2 in the corner in a small bedroom sleeping 2 adults – absolutely amazing collection of water – every little helps in stopping the condensation cold spots moisture and mould – but also keep ventilating if you can and don’t pack everything so tight it can’t breathe

If you want faster re-action then this wouldn’t cut it – it took nearly 3 weeks before i could feel the difference in the room. If I can afford an electri de-humidifier I would possibly go for it.

Work very well. When all of the white pearl go the bottom is full of water. I use these on window sills behind shutters. Also used a a cupboard because if they are pushed over there is no chance that the water will escape. This is my third purchase and I highly recommend

I was seeing mold in my wardrobe and these seem to have solved it, but even though they do clearly gather moisture, they’re no match for the moisture on the windows and definitely don’t do much for a large room. I have 4 set out in my bedroom alone, although in fairness, I live in an old house that’s been questionably maintained. These are also good for pantries and helps keep bread from going moldy a little longer.

I purchased this item as I was having an extreme damp problem in my flat, I placed these around my place and the damp has not come back. I was a bit skeptical at first as it took a while to begin absorbing so I thought they didn’t work but now they’re almost full and the air is less moist.

These work best in conjunction with other measures such as a dehumidifier. I put them on my window but they are pretty useless on their own. Maybe ok for a small cupboard or a closet if there isn’t a lot of damp.

I’ve been ordering these for a while now as I live in England in a groundfloor flat. Wherever I place them they always do what they say on the tin, helps with moisture and smell.

Does make me wonder if I may need to invest in an actual electric dehumidifer. No complaints with this product, used dozens and all were good.

Love using these. I leave one in the car, wardrobes, bedrooms and bathrooms. They are not great to look at so I hide them. Would look better in black. They collect so much water from the air. They also stop unused rooms smelling a bit stale.

My Ford Galaxy used to suffer from heavy condensation on the inside of the windows which took ages to clear off with sponges and the car’s heater and blower. Since obtaining the Anzio dehumidifier pack and leaving one in the car, the windows remain clear of interior moisture irrespective of the weather conditions. I can’t recommend the product highly enough, it’s brilliant.

We live in a bungalow that has a bit of a condensation issue. We found mould forming on the clothes in our wardrobes, so we opted to try these. Once the lid seal has been removed, they slowly start filling up with water. They definitely work and we have them in all our wardrobes now. The only down-side I can see is they are single use only. But, they do last a fair while and they are relatively inexpensive to replace. I’ll be buying more of these.

The dehumidifier packs come in small boxes. At first I thought they didn’t work but over time they each started collecting water.
You need to place them strategically. For example, in a damp cupboard. Near a window that collects condensation and in general enclosed areas. I’m happy with the product because it’s collecting water. I also have a dehumidifier. Over the long run I’d advise buying an electronic dehumidifier and using these disposable ones in conjuction as a cheaper and holistic solution.

I’ve been using these now for several years from Oct to April in the ensuite which is only small but in the past suffered badly from damp on the ceiling. Since I stated to use these 1 every 40 days or when I feel it’s full I just replace and it has certainly reduced significantly the need to wipe down and repaint over damp ceiling. I’ve gone from monthly painting to painting once a year which I’m more than happy to do.

Absorbs water but didn’t really make much of a difference for preventing mold, may be a bit of a placebo effect – we now use these in conjunction with an electric dehumidifier and put these in spots that don’t get as much air flow to catch any remaining moisture. If you have a moisture problem these will probably not be enough to deal with it.

I read different reviews, but they work for me, the second time buying. I used them all in one go because I had severe issues with leather stuff getting mouldy, plus general damp, and they cleared the problem. I placed one in every corner of the back of my wardrobe. They take a few weeks to fill up, too, so it’s a good value for the money too. The only shame is they are not very eco friendly.

Saving me quite a bit on maintenance charges.

We have bought an older house and the loft was getting quite damp last winter because of lack of ventilation and we have stuff up there i didn’t want going mouldy. There were drips from the inside of the roof.
5 of these distributed around the loft and the difference is very noticeable. The air doesn’t feel so damp and the underside of the roof no longer drips. It’s been summer so not needed so much but restocking for this winter.
Easy to dispose of. Cut off the top, pour away the contents and put the tubs in the recycling.

These units are good for reducing moisture in small spaces such as cupboards etc. In my opinion, they are not designed for tackling dampness in rooms. If you have such an issue then a powered dehumidifier may be your best solution. For the purpose these packs are made for, they work well and are good value for money.

I picked these up because they were the cheapest I had seen anywhere, especially compared to some big brand shops and you get 10 in them for a great price. My house suffer’s with damp so I’m always trying too find ways to help with that and I’d say these definitely help with the problems that I was having. These fill quite quickly from my house because of how much condensation is in the rooms but these are well worth it.

Second Step… It’ll take 2 weeks to see any water colleected
Third Step… You start to see water collecting in the bottom.
I too was speculative about these, put 8 out around my house, all collected water, worked especially well in pantry, kept food fresh.

Golden Review Award: 166 From Our UsersFirst off I notice the one or two stars reviewers have no idea what they are doing.
Look, what this does is remove moisture BUT …..does NOT PREVENT moisture!
Condensation seems to be the biggest problem for them to understand so just to clarify:
    (damp is dealt with later)
When hot or warm air meets a cold surface moisture is produced. Physics.
To give perspective. Should you enter a room with cold walls and blast out heat then moisture , to
some degree or another, WILL be produced and nothing can stop it apart from having warm walls.
Also , and MOST importantly, the air in the room can and does retain moisture making the situation worse since
saturated air will deposit moisture onto surfaces even if they are not cold.

So what use are they? Well, I have an old property with perpetually cold walls and I am , in winter , always
fighting a condensation problem as unattendended mold appears and boy oh boy does it stink as well as being
both annoying and awkward to get rid of. I use these crystals to prevent the air from carrying moisture which
alleviates the problem. In truth it rather shocks me when I see how much water is accrued in them.
As it happens I am having new quantum style radiators installed throughout so I expect to keep the walls warm
thus preventing condensation. For the moment continuous heating is way too expensive given the cost of power
    nowadays.
Now for the matter of damp:
Damp is caused by an EXTERNAL source bringing moisture in. A damp proof course not working or a burst pipe perhaps.
Maybe a slope in your garden bringing water to your walls. Whatever the cause these crystals can do NOTHING to help
stop damp. Again, the crystals can only extract water from the air and mitigate your damp problems that way.

So, are they good at extracting moisture from the air? Oh yes indeed they are! They are excellent and as mentioned earlier,
I continue to be surprised (shocked?) by just how much they extract.
It may be that I have a particularly bad problem and so they extract more and at a faster rate than with a lessor problem ,
    I cannot say.
Just as it says in the blurb it does take a little time for them to kick in so don’t expect to see lots after just a couple of hours.
Of course it might be that the lack of a result points to the lack of a problem that can be helped by the crystals.
Crystals are crystals and so must react to moisture…..it is what crystals do. To suggest they don’t work like some have,
    is ridiculous!
Finally I have to say that:

From my experience I wholeheartedly recommend them!

We have a large touring caravan that lives in storage through the winter months. As the dreaded damp is a caravans worst enemy we were recommended these by seasoned Caravanners a few years back now. These have worked wonders at removing the moisture from key areas of the caravan where in the past we have seen condensation collect. Lasting on average 5 months we are now on a 3rd re-order of this brand, having tried other brands at the same price region direct from caravan shops we always come back to these as we have found they collect more water.
The 5 pack works well as we place one in the front window, one in the kitchen basin, one in the bathroom and two in the kids bunks at the rear.

For this price it’s an easy purchase when your protecting your home on wheels over the months in storage.

    Simply put a good product.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThese are brilliant, some folk have said they don’t work but I think they haven’t left them long enough. I placed mine in the cupboard under the sink and in a settle we have at the back door. Our cottage is 700yrs old so there are no foundations and you can’t put anything non breathable on the floor. The cupboards are wood so do breath though because they are closed the settle and under the sink it gets musty. I left the tubs for 6 weeks and they are full of water, I was quite shocked by how much there was. The beads get wet and when they are too saturated the excess water goes into the tub underneath. They cost about 1.20 each and it isn’t possible to put an electric dehumidifier in the cupboards so these work great, I would need about 9 a year at this rate in each cupboard which is fine, I am also going to just place one on the floor somewhere discreet and see what happens. Yes I definitely recommend these.

Now as I came back 2 out of 3 were full with water and no mould on the windows or anything so I am definitely happy with the product and reordered too as they are so easy to use. Update. 2nd pack purchased.
After all crystals had evaporated on the last one I had I forgot to move it. One month later I remembered and picked it up. It had taken in even more water. The water level now passed above the line where the crystals began.
    Point being.
Don’t replace them when all crystals have gone. Wait a few more weeks. Even if starting another one off. I promise it’ll absorb more.

I’ve seen reviews where people say that the beads just clump up and do nothing else – my advice, it’s working!!

I literally still can’t believe how much water this tiny tub gathered in my bedroom. You can see the before and after – 24th June when I first opened it and today 21 Aug, it’s filled up completely. I have several around the house after I noticed my clothes still feeling a bit damp, and condensation building in the windows.

Honestly, 2 months tucked away and it completely filled up, my clothes are dry and condensation from the windows decreased!

Are use these for our caravan, when not in use. I have also used them in the loft.
They seem to work well, I doubt they would remove a huge amount of moisture, but seem to be definitely affective for small spaces, and generally keeping everything fresh. Probably most suitable in a wardrobe, or a small area where the damp problem is not particularly bad. But basically happy with my purchase, especially given the price
The only concern I would have is disposing of them. Another item in landfill unfortunately!

Anyone giving less than 5 stars must be using these wrong. Wardrobes were my biggest enemy, the smell of damp used to creep into some clothing and smell disgusting. After cleaning and drying the back of the wardrobe and washing every single garment I put one of these in each side. Don’t expect instant results they can take WEEKS to work but work they do! Both of mine were full to the brim with water/moisture, no smelly clothes and no damp odour coming from the back of the wardrobe, I will continue with these indefinitely.

I bought these for car and the caravan. Under the boot where the spare tyre is was soaked with water over winter. I dried it with a towel but the moisture and smell continued 3 days of using this and the boot was dry and the smell gone! I’ve put them in the caravan also as a precaution however no issues to start with in the caravan. Highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThey work, I was sceptical. But I was dealing with very bad humidity due to old windows with nonexistent insulation, and had mould creep in severely before. But since I got these no sign of mould or much if any humidity on the windows. I got them early December 2019 and the same ones are still in use and only half way used up (March 2020) I was expecting them to get used up much faster. Anyways would definitely recommend! Super easy and simple to use. 0 effort is required.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWe use these in the cellar, it has three rooms, one of which is the utility and one of which is a standard damp cellar. Although we have a radiator in the utility and the middle room we like to use these to draw some of the damp out. They last ages and work well. They obviously aren’t as good as a dehumidifier but for how much they cost they’re great. Would definitely recommend

When they start working they do make a difference in clearing up the water but they don’t prevent anything and the damage has often already been done by the time they start soaking it up. Our windows get drenched in water and these clear it up but only after it happens and tbh that could be happening naturally anyway?

I have been using these for a number of years and they work perfectly for helping to stop condensation and consequently white mould building up in enclosed spaces. I live in a relatively small apartment and condensation has always been a problem here and these dehumidifiers, along with the use of a large electric unit, have helped to stop most of the problems associated with condensation. Yes they take a little while to start working, but that’s just how these units operate and I can confirm that they do help to stop condensation and are especially useful in cupboards or any area where you have a build up or moisture. They are little more expensive than the ones you see in the pound shops, but unlike those units, these actually work so are well worth the small extra cost. Highly recommended.

Marvelous product, peel the foil lid, don’t pierce or disturb the material covering, replace plastic protector, used these for years in garage/pantry and a porch we hardly use. The garage always seemed to get a coating of wet dew with the weather change winter/summer then summer/winter etc these nearly 100% eradicate this, got sick to death of wiping steel bench vice down after it looked like someone had sprayed it with hose pipe as did other steel and plastic item in there, perfect for damp areas (so long as it’s not prolonged damp as that would be a structural/building issue) even got 1 in the back of my van as the steel roof on the inside used to drip all over materials and tools.

    These are great.

My home is a trap for heat & moisture, even with the additional air filters on all the windows and dehumidifiers in each main room, mould & damp were a constant problem so thought I’d give a “moisture trap” a go.

These work as expected. They don’t remove or stop mould from returning but they definitely help slow the process making the up-keep & “mould maintenance” easier. We have one of these in each room and there’s been a definite difference. It took around 5-6 weeks to notice the difference, and while visitors/family won’t notice, it’s definitely noticeable to us.

    Will definitely be buying again!

Definitely Work! A MUST HAVE if you’ve got mould or want to prevent mould with little to no ventilation in your home!

They last a long time, depending on your home. They’ve lasted me up to 6 months before, and then needing to buy more. I have one in every room, and it varies on how much is used up, depending on the room!

As a customer, I can noticeable see that these are working, as I do not have any mould, until the product is all used up! (The balls turn into water) (You can see no more balls in the container).

INVALUABLE if you have mould or just need a cleaner air space!

I’ve seen cheaper products of this kind. We use it to try and control the humidity in our bedroom. We’ve put it by the window which had loads of condensation. Not all gone. Just a bit bulky but it does the trick. Let’s see how long it lasts.

We have a medium sized one-bedroom and no A/C so it gets really stuffy. Our bathroom has no windows, either so the steam was starting to produce mold. I got these becuase I wasn’t willing to pay 100+ for a plug-in air humidifier (also, I live in Ireland so they don’t have electric sockets in the bathrooms for that anyway). I put one of these in each of my room and there was definitely a noticeable decrease in humidity! Also, no more mold spots.

It takes a while to fill up and probably doesn’t do the job as swifty as a plug-in dehumidifier, but it works great for the price and I’ve been using these for months.

So far the dehumidifiers are working a treat. I have them in my rather damp 197,000 mile Toyota Aygo that I purchased from my driving instructor. The car had been sat on my instructors drive for a few months and on mine for ever more as I failed to pass my test, over, and over again. So when I finally passed and got out in it, I noticed it was a bit damp and fusty. I drove around in it for almost a year not really caring too much about the damp as I didn’t really notice it anymore, but my poor friend noted it every time he graced my passenger seat. So I finally got around to sorting it out. No comment from the friend as to the dampness as of yet.

I wanted to share this little story because I just received a lovely message from the sellers caring about how well the product served me, and I thought it would be a nice place to share a bit of life with this friendly small business.

    Cheers Ansio.

These work exactly as described. Don’t be put off if you do not see any water in the container straight away. It does take several days to work. I put these scattered around the house on window sills & in possible moisture places, like near the washing machine, and after a few days water started to appear in them. It seems to work by absorbing the moisture into the crystals which then look like they become solid but the crystals eventually disintegrate.

In some places I’ve put the larger Kontrol refillable moisture traps, which work out more economical, but I still use these smaller Ansio ones as well for convenience

Golden Review Award: 39 From Our UsersBought to go in a car that at one time had a leaky sunroof. Now in winter, with the heater on condensation was ridiculous. Despite air con on and heater at full blast, more water on screen inside than out. Bought 1 pack ANSIO Interior Dehumidifiers, day one put 2 in the car by end of day 3 both had collected water, by end of day 7 used 4 in total but car no longer has epic condensation. Have decided to keep one in the car as a precaution and so far…its working.

We bought these because we found our house to be very damp this winter, having just had some plastering done and it’s a cold house.

Before biting the bullet and buying an electric dehumidifier I bought a set of these to see how they work.

It wasn’t long before I bought an electric dehumidifier because unfortunately these weren’t potent enough for the levels of moisture we were talking about (water running down walls!), but we decided to keep them and leave them in all of our built in wardrobes just to help keep clothes from getting damp. It’s been a couple of months now but I can confirm they do work and a small pool of water is collecting in the bottom of the container. At the current rate of things I suspect these will last us about 6 months doing the job they’re doing in the wardrobes. Clothes do feel a lot less damp so we will probably keep going with a set of these each winter.

If you have a big space or it’s VERY damp I would still recommend an electric dehumidifier, but for small spaces and just to keep the edges off the damp these are great.

Golden Review Award: 16 From Our UsersAmazing how they work so well.
I have them in the wardrobe with all the clothes.
    On most window ledges.
In the corners of the kitchen.
High up in some corners of some rooms.
They are great and they really do work.
It takes about a day or 2 to see some water in there, depending on how damp your conditions are, mine are bone dry now.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersUse them in the back of a wardrobe and they do a good job keeping the damp under control. They last a decent length of time and have only used 2 so far this winter. Only complaint is that they are one use and when full, the label says to throw them away full. I’m not sure if the chemicals make it unsafe to empty the liquid that has collected down the sink but this prevents you from being able to recycle the plastic container. Throwing it into general waste seems like a real shame.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI use these inside my kitchen cupboards (I live in an old stone cottage, well over 150 years old) they get very musty and damp, these little pot are just right to keep the smell at bay during the Winter and help stop my flour, sugar etc from growing a layer of fluff on the packet…….
They work really well, takes about a week before you notice anything collecting in the tub,so don’t think the beads aren’t doing their job…..just wait a while.
I have bought similar ones from high st shops but they don’t seem as effective,I’ll stick with this brand……

Golden Review Award: 25 From Our UsersOrdered again and again – very good ones. High capacity, works very well and sucks dump in very fast. It’s little more expensive than some local shops but really, pay as little as few pennies more and voila. Moreover in my opinion there is no reason to buy scented ones – all you can have for another few dimes more is few minutes of weak aroma. Not worth it. These here are best for the job. Recommend! Same with delivery – fast, well packed, on time. Cheers!

Golden Review Award: 35 From Our UsersGood quality, a great price and well packed.

I’ve used these in the shed to minimise moisture so my tools don’t rust. My shed is painted with Cuprinol Ducksback paint, just had a new roof frame/panels/felt put on so is pretty well maintained. One of these dehumidifiers still managed to suck about 200ml of moisture from the air in just a couple of days!

The air in the shed now feels drier and I am on my second dehumidifier which is still working, but drawing less moisture (as I assume moisture content in the shed has now decreased).

Previously, I noticed if I went into the shed early in the morning, there would be a lot of condensation on things like paint tins and this has now stopped.

The product itself is a typical disposable dehumidifier. To use, simply take off the plastic lid, remove the plastic foil film and replace the lid – easy peasy!

They are great in the garage, shed, near bay windows or if you dry your clothes indoors.

5 for 6.49 is a great deal – highly recommended!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersImpressed with the design, presentation, and packaging of these convenient dehumidifiers. After 3 weeks of testing, I am now able to confirm with validity that absorbtion efficiency is exactly as described. For example, closed cupboards are now odour free, and after 4 weeks there are still crystals in the container, and the water level in the collection receptacle is now stable. Another indication of efficiency. We remain delighted.
