Baby loves it and she is learning so much with this product. O lo downside is that it has some stains that cannot be washed off. We tried everything and they just don’t come off.
One of the best toys we have in our house. Have bought cheaper versions but can see why this one is little more expensive. Worth it in my opinion. It gets taken out a good bit and just great fun. Nice graphics and size. Only gripe I have is I’d like to be able to buy the brush and pens at an affordable cost. The ones I have are getting a bit wrecked now because we have them so long
Ignore the reviews about this being a cheap version of other makes. Aqua doodle was the original version of this product and it does exactly what it says on the tin. I bought this for my daughter 3 years ago when she turned one, I bought it the following year for my niece and I have purchased again this year for my nephew. It is perfect for little ones who are experimenting with motor skills without the worry of a messy carpet/flooring. Good value for money and most toy shops charge at least 5 more than this price. 10/10 I deffo recommend.
This is a brilliant idea my son loves this he is autistic and struggles with some things and this helps him so much with his writing would definitely recommend

Great product but i would have liked to see dome pouch with the product which would be handy to keep all the pieces together. Also water does seep through so if you put this on soft furniture it will wet those surfaces. Otherwise great fun for little ones
Good toy for when baby learns to draw. As this does not make mess. Although finding that it is harder to get our child interested as the colours are not so vibrant when drawing on the sheet.
Really safe as only using water. The child is younger than the recommended age but tries to use the pen and really likes the stamps. A very good product and very entertaining

We already had a small Aquadoodle but having a larger one makes it so much more usable, the concept continues to work well and the idea of no mess painting with a 4yo and 2yo is certainly appealing. Both kids love it and the mat is big enough for them to share without too much space invasion!
Really like this product but the pen could do with a lid, not because water is leaking but because it rolls around the toy box and gets dragged round the floor etc. by my 18 month old, and so the pen gets a bit dirty with dust, fluff, and so on. Other than that, great item.
Bought as a gift for a little 1 for her birthday, but with the idea it was suitable for her and her slightly older sister. Both are enjoying it, and mum likes the mess with out the mess nature of the mat.
Nice aquadoodle mat. Folds up to go out of the way. The pen dries up straight away though, and you have to dip it in water to saturate it to get it to work. Just filling it with water isn’t enough. You should get more than 1 pen with it, have bought some back up generic cheap ones from amazon to go with.
Bought a bigger non aquadoodle mat. Yes it was bigger and has many more extras but it broke after two uses so sent it back and bought this instead. The mat is much better quality and my son enjoys playing with it. I do feel it could have more pens and extras for the money.

We used this and gave it to my 1 year old. He was more interested in sucking the water from the pen than actually using the pen to draw on the mat. I think its more suitable for 3/4 year olds where they can draw on the mat and make shapes etc.
This great and certainly get the creative juices going. It is good that it only uses water to draw but when you draw over the coloured areas it shows up as colours. It is worth buying extra pens should you loose the one it comes with. Don’t use Dettol or similar products on it as it makes it sticky and definitely don’t put it on the washing machine.

Lovely you for my 2 year old . Looks a bit girly . I find the mat a bit small although it says big mat. Not sure how small are the others . A bit expensive as well for what it is now I see it in real but my child loves it !

I’d bought an aqua doodle mat 5 years ago for half the price, it was very well used but didnt come with any additional accessories like this one and is only just starting to wear down.
This mat has a lovely rainbow background making drawings more colourful.
It comes with a water pen, paintbrush and 3x stamps.
We use it for toddlers scribbles and a “guess what I’m drawing game” with myself & 6yr old. Occasionally use it as a home learning tool in the garden when oldest is getting bored, good for scribbling out maths questions. Its large enough for 2 to use independently. Drawings fade really quickly in the sun and aren’t visible later on like with other branded mats.
Just keep it clean and away from snacks as it’s difficult to wash if soiled.
Amazing and simple and safe. My 2 year old loves it and we draw together. Safe as it’s water based, quite large, dries up in 10 min ish and little one has no temptation to draw on walls and furniture any more, awesome.
Easy to wash with hot soapy towel, leave it to dry and it’s good as new.
Normal drawing with the provided pen, last around 5 minutes before fading out by the 10th minute. Just enough time for the little one to enjoy and restart a new set of drawing.

My daughter loves this, she uses it almost everyday, so much easier than paint and she can learn to coordinate her colouring with just a little water. We also use it to teach her to write and use a hair dryer to dry it off so she can start again.
Live this! My toodler is a terror when it comes to crayons, either sticking them in her mouth or quickly drawing on something she shouldnt. I got this and feel relief she can’t actually eat anything. I don’t have to worry about her drawing on herself or on the floor etc. The pattern underneath is cute and it dries really easily.
I bought it for our youngest grandchild who is delighted with it. So is his mother who can get on with other things

This is one of the favourite toys of my daughter (and mine!). Mess free drawing, so no worrying that one day you’ll find your couch or walls have been drawn on. This is the second one that we have purchased, first one has lasted for few months of constant, everyday use. Nice colours and very easy to fold and store away.

Official AquaDoodle products are a lot better than any cheap copies. The mats work really well and show the colours better. The extra details around the edges are well illustrated. The biggest difference is in the pens. Easy to fill and they draw so much better. We’ve had others with brush-like pens and other tips but the proper Tomy pens are so much better. A mat and pen will give your child hours of fun, again and again. It dries out within an hour so can be filled with more drawings and the pens fill from your tap. Perfect!

I brought this for my nephew and he loved it! He spends hours playing with it and I think it is a great buy if you have children of a certain age.
Bought this for our son for Christmas after reviewing lots of other brands. He loves it! And we love that he can’t draw all over the furniture! Picture does take a little longer than 10 minutes to dry, but that wasn’t a problem for us.

It was a suggestion by my husband to get it and I was sceptical about the quality of the drawing surface but really good and the little one loves doodling on it.
She did spill her water bottle on it and there is a slight “tide” mark even though it has completely dried out but does not impede the use of it.

This is a fab little peice of kit for the kods in the car.
I have got two of these and i got one forna friend too.
These are brill to keep then entertained in the car.
I just keep a little bottle of water in the csr to top the pen up when needed.
I have only given this 4 stars though purely for the fact then pens dont last very long. I find the nib is fine on it but sometimes the water just wont come through.. which then makes it no use unless u buy the spare pens.

I’ve purchased Aqua doodles previously and they have always provided hours of fun! I do think they are expensive for what you get but i would still recommend as the kids love them. Would be nice if a bag was supplied so it could be packed neatly for travelling.
Trs ludique, le tapis Aquadoodle a tout de suite t adopt par ma petite fille de deux ans. Il prsente plein d’avantages par rapport des feutres classiques et du papier : il est rutilisable l’infini ; ceux dont les enfants perdent sans arrt les capuchons des feutres apprcieront aussi puisque le stylo se charge juste en eau. Nul besoin, donc, d’en racheter rgulirement.
Par ailleurs, il est aussi livr avec une sorte de “pinceau” large qui, une fois mouill, permet de dvoiler le dessin qui se trouve cach sous la premire couche du tapis. C’est le mme dessin dont on voit apparatre les couleurs quand l’enfant dessine avec le stylo : cela rend les traits multicolores, ce qui est du plus bel effet.
Il y a galement trois tampons (on imbibe le chiffon de “l’encrier” avec de l’eau, on imprgne les tampons avec et hop, plein de jolies formes sans pour autant que l’enfant se mette de l’encre partout !)
Enfin, sa grande taille est un plus supplmentaire.
Le tout tient dans une bote assez compacte, facile, donc, emmener en vacances.
Est muy chulo. Mi chico que tiene 16 meses le encanta dibujar con el.

Bought for my daughter’s birthday, a fantastic idea, good execution. The main surface isn’t as white as it’s made out to be in the images, you can faintly see the image underneath. This isn’t a criticism, just putting it out there.
Beyond that, works exactly as advertised straight out of the box and has kept my LO busy for hours already.
J’ai achet celui ci pour complter un premier (Maxi tapis aquadoodle couleur – arc en ciel fluo) que j’avais dj quips des mmes accessoires mais pas les mmes tampons.
Ce tapis est plus petit (l’autre recouvre toute la table basse donc l’autre est peu tre moiti plus grand) mais reste quand mme assez grand format pour la zone a “peindre”, j’avais un peu peur car souvent les tapis aquadoodle sont emputs fortement par les dessins autours rduisant fort la zone de jeu mais l elle reste trs correct.
Complte trs bien le premier tapis qui n’avait pas de dessin a dcouvrir. L quand tout est mouill on trouve un joli paysage. Les deux tapis se compltent parfaitement quand vous avez deux enfants, fini les bagarres ou presque…chacun un stylo, un pinceau, 3 tampons…seule diffrence dans ses deux modles : le bac a eau du pinceau
Trs mal penser sur AquaDoodle E72772, c’est un bac plat…avec deux enfants de 12 mois et 32 mois c’est renvers en 4 seconde.
Tellement bien penser sur le Maxi tapis aquadoodle couleur, c’est un bac a double paroi, quasi impossible de renverser l’eau et pourtant je vous garanti que miniboys s’acharne pour y parvenir !
A la base je voulais seulement racheter un second stylo, pinceau et tampon pour mon miniboys mais les accessoires AquaDoodle de la marque sont trs plutt cher, j’arrivais vite a 15e pour un stylo easy et 3 tampons j’ai donc opter plutt pour l’achat d’un pack avec tapis et c’est sans regret.

Our 18 month granddaughter loves this set. It is the first toy she gets out when she visits.
I dare say the novelty will wear off because you essentially always get the same rainbow picture when it gets wet but he’s learned where the boat, butterfly, bird, bee and flower etc. are and always colours them in first. Although it’s a good short term distraction he definitely seems more interested in YouTube on a mobile phone though… and he is now better than me at using it.
It is a little pricey for what you actually get but anything that brings enjoyment to a young child is surely worth it.
Pros:
– Virtually mess free due to only requiring water
– Lots of different shapes and pictures can be drawn
– Aids development as children learn the various animals and items that are located on the picture
Cons:
– Quite expensive
– Only provides a short term distraction and the novelty will soon wear off
My little girl loves her new aquadoddle. We had a cheaper version previously but this one is much better quality and the different brushes and stamps are great.
Simple but did entertain and amuse my Grandaughter. Lost interest fairly quickly but for the price it was good value.
Bought this for my 2 young daughters. They were amazed by it! They play with this this for ages and keeps them busy and quiet. Takes a while to dry back to white so I put it on the radiator for 5 mins and it’s back to white to start all over again. Very happy with this!

Love our aqua doodle mat- brilliant for taking out and about and not having to worry about any mess. This one is a good size, has 4 different colours and also has letters etc round the outside which will be handy for older kids learning to read and write. Would recommend for babies 1+. My child loves it, and is always sucking the pen so glad it’s just water!!

Brilliant gift. My niece is 1 and can’t quite grasp the crayon. So we bought her this. No mess and can’t draw whatever she likes.
They are fascinated by the magical appearance of colours, and we add to the fun by wetting their hands and feet and helping them to make hand and footprints (so much easier and cleaner than hand paints!).
The mat is big enough for the two of them to play together and the various accessories are sturdy and easy for small hands to handle, although I do recommend buying an extra pen if the mat is going to be used by more than one child at a time.
My only quibble is that the mat takes quite a while to dry out naturally before it can be used again. This is the only reason I’ve given the product 4 rather than 5 stars.
Edit: Don’t let your kids near the mat with regular pens—the marks will not wipe off!

It has lost one star from me because it can take a while to dry, as you are not supposed to put it too close to a heat source (e.g. on the radiator), which means little ones can loose interest.
We’ve had several aquadoodles over the years, but overtime you lose the pens or the pad gets damaged. This one is awesome again, the kids love it and it’s especially fun on a hot summers day. A geat toy for all ages!

I love an aquadoodle. They are so easy to fold up and take out with you, child has loads of fun and no mess to clean up! If you haven’t used one before, the premise is you fill a “pen” with water, child draws on the mat and can see his/her workings and then the water dries and the mat is clean again.
I’ve bought one of these before, for a granddaughter, she has a lot of fun with it. It is quite a large mat and she lies on the floor and goes over it with the (damp) pen or sponges it comes with, she can draw great designs that, automatically, are rainbow coloured.
Seeing how much pleasure she has had from the one I bought I decided to take this one to keep here so can can play with it when she visits.
It’s an easy to fold away mat with plenty of space for you and your child to be artistic and then the picture can really easily be wiped off and you can begin again.
