Dobble is a speedy observation game where players race to match the identical symbol between cards. | Reliant on a sharp eye and quick reflexes, Dobble creates excitement for children and adults alike while keeping every player involved in the action. | Every card is unique and has only one symbol in common with any other in the deck. The match can be difficult to spot as the size and positioning of the symbols can vary on each card. |

As the game is based on reactions and visual perception, rather than knowledge or strategy, there is no advantage for adults over children, making it the perfect family game. | Many must see themes: Animals, Camping, 123, but also your beloved characters, such as Harry Potter, Elsa,… | Take it Anywhere Dobble is simple to learn, quick to play but a challenge to master. Dobble’s gameplay and its pocket sized tin make it the ideal party or travel game. |

This really is a fun game with cards, with lots of different ways to play, keeps us all laughing too, its kinda like snap…. but lots of pictures on the cards.
This comes out at every family get together, I’m not exaggerating when I say we have had 5 years too 70 years playing at the same time, not many games that are easy and appeal too All ages.
This game is great for all ages and the seller responded quickly. The only problem is it was not delivered to my address and I had to hunt round the neighbourhood until I found it which luckily I did. Delivery drivers need to be far more responsible.
I like how simple it is to understand this game, the rules aren’t too difficult to understand and its a fun game to play, the tin is also pretty sturdy and has a nice design, I think my only problem is with the symbols on the cards, I’m not too fond of the art used.
Great fun game that I’ve played with Adults and Kids. There’s a few variations of how to play this game. But the one I did that works best is to pass out cards to everyone face down so each person has a set amount and then to take the top of the tin and turn it upside down so everyone puts their cards into that.
Otherwise they can end up getting spread all across the table! Each time someone finds a match, they need to call out what the word is before they drop it in the tin e.g. ‘Stop Sign’, ‘Snowflake’, ‘Anchor’ etc.
So it’s a great way for kids to learn how to pattern match and to get learn new words and get confident about saying them out loud.
Always lots of fun and easy to put in your bag to take to someone’s house or on holiday.
Fun little game, but you have to trust who you are playing with, unless you are a cyborg and can match them all up at the same time!!!
As an example, daughter didn’t really understand the rules the first few times, and we all though she was a genius, until we started to question her ability to match the symbol at near lightning speeds!! So yeah, you could quite easily get away with it sometimes!
Still very fun for quick bursts, it’s very quick to pick up and play a few games.
Great fun for all ages!! We played this with just drunk adults who got very competitive and played it with adults and kids. Good family game not to expensive eithe
We love playing Dobble!
The cards come in a neat little tin, which you can take in your pocket for when you are out. Ideal for train journeys etc.
The cards are of good quality and rules pretty easy to pick up on.
Asmodee’s Dobble Card Game has become a staple in our family game nights, offering a dynamic and engaging experience that transcends age barriers. Here’s a detailed review, featuring the pros and cons of this delightful card game:
**Pros:**
1. **Speedy and Exciting Gameplay:** Dobble lives up to its reputation as a game of speed, observation, and reflexes. The race to find the one matching image between cards injects an exhilarating pace into each round, ensuring that players stay engaged throughout the 15-minute playing time.
2. **Variety of Mini Games:** The inclusion of five mini games, namely “Fill The Well,” “The Towering Inferno,” “Hot Potato,” “Catch Them All,” and “The Poisoned Gift,” adds a layer of versatility to the gameplay. This variety keeps the experience fresh, preventing monotony and inviting players to explore different challenges within the same deck.
3. **Universal Appeal:** Dobble’s reliance on visual perception and quick reactions rather than knowledge or strategy makes it universally appealing. There’s no advantage for adults over children, making it an ideal family game. The diverse themes, including Animals, Camping, 123, and beloved characters like Harry Potter and Elsa, broaden its appeal across various age groups.
4. **Compact and Portable:** The pocket-sized tin housing Dobble makes it an excellent travel companion. Its simplicity to learn and quick playtime make it an ideal game for parties, family gatherings, or on-the-go entertainment. The compact design ensures you can take the fun anywhere.
5. **Endless Variations:** With every card being unique and having only one symbol in common with any other in the deck, Dobble offers endless variations. The varying sizes and positions of symbols on each card add an element of challenge, making each game session feel fresh and unpredictable.
**Cons:**
1. **Packaging Variability:** The product may come in either the original packaging or a new eco-packaging variant. While the core game remains the same, some users might prefer consistency in packaging. It’s a minor consideration but worth noting for those who have a preference.
2. **Not Ideal for Strategy Enthusiasts:** If you’re seeking a game with deep strategic elements, Dobble might not fully satisfy that craving. Its strength lies in quick reactions and observation, making it more of a fast-paced, light-hearted experience.
In conclusion, Asmodee’s Dobble Card Game is a must-have addition to any game collection. Its universal appeal, speedy gameplay, and diverse themes make it a go-to choice for family gatherings, parties, or casual play. Whether you’re 6 or 60, Dobble offers a consistently enjoyable and accessible gaming experience that transcends age boundaries.
This is our third set of Dobble, and this is just as good as the others. Marvel characters and symbols are clearly identifiable. Card quality is very good and the tin is quite sturdy.
My daughter played this with friends and suggested it as a pre-holiday purchase for our family. We all loved it and the fact that it has several different formats has kept us coming back to it regularly.
This game is possibly one of the best I’ve played.
It is very easy yet fun to compete against your friends and family with this game
I could honestly play for hours, Without losing interest or getting bored.
This is Amazing and it is definitely a great game to play when you feel like having a bit of fun.
100% Recommended by Me!
And since the tin it comes in is so small, You could easily fit it in your bag and bring it on a journey.
I love it and..
I am happy
This is a game my kids always return too and it brings so much fun and laughter! You could have a quick game or you can spend hours playing, great size for taking on your travels. No age range as I’m a grown adult and love it!
Great value for money, a must in every home with kids.
This is a super game to play with even young children. We played as a family and even the 3 year old could join in. It all fits into a small tin so is ideal to take away on holiday, when travelling or even for an evening out at a restaurant between courses. Kept the whole family entertained.
This game is so much fun. Great for everyone of all ages! Easy to play, the cards come in a tin so can easily be taken on long journeys and good stocking fille
Everyone should have dobble in their house. It’s great for all ages and fantastic for parties or family bonding. I buy dobble as a present for birthdays andnew home celebrations
Probably the best family game ever! So many ways to play suitable for all ages. I have a 3,5 and 7 year old who can’t get enough of it. Me included. So simple, so fun!!
This is really fun to play. My family and I(59yrs) and my Kidz – aged between 24 and 28 years old, have thoroughly enjoyed the game. We have also played it when my Kidz friends came round to visit and it ended up being ‘drinking game’ . Lots of fun and laughter was had by All
Great game for all the family.
It is incredibly simple to play.
There are a few variants of the rules that you can play (detailed in the instructions) but they all use the same basic principle. Can be very frustrating when you’re losing but in a good fun kind of way.
If you want to hurt your brain, try and work out the maths behind the fact that every card has one picture that matches one picture (and only one) on every other card in the deck. There are videos online about the maths behind it, very complicated but results in a simple and fun game to play.
Purchased on a pre Xmas whim to freshen up the games options during the break. Great call – simplicity and ease of play. All cards have one overlapping/common picture – all you have to do is match up & call it out – seems simple but beware, can get fast & furious with a few players !!, so good fun. Number of variants for gameplay also, so you can play the same core game in a number of play options which is good – plenty of short guides on YouTube to show you the way. Bought this set for my own family (teenagers +), but ended up buying 2 different sets for friends younger kids (kids versions has numbers and easier shapes to match up) & the younger kids loved it also. Games are short & quick which is good, so useful as a gap filler but won’t drag out. Despite its simplicity in concept, can be testing on the brain to see what’s directly in front of you, which adds to the fun. Would recommend to be added to the family game stock, and easy to carry cards in the can provided. Can see this one in the holiday bag, with Quirkle and Skyjo
This is such a good game. The whole family enjoys it and loves to play. Delivery was very quick, no issues with seller. Would definatley buy from again.
Bought for my granddaughter, she loves the game double but it being a Harry Potter one is even better as she’s a big fan. Quick delivery thank you !
Such a fantastic game. My 5 year old can play it but it is equally great for adults too. Lots of different ways to play and it’s good competitive fun. Nice and compact so it’s easy to travel with! A must for any family
Introduced to this game by a friend who brought it with her for us to play on a girls weekend away. It’s easy to learn and great fun. I bought one for my grandchildren and they loved i
Perfect for four year olds, my little nephew loved it!
Bought this after a friend introduced me to the game, it always ends up super competitive. Love that you can have a Harry Potter version as well.
Fantastic game for all the family. Was introduced by our niece and nephew at a dinner and decided to get them and us the Harry Potter version. Keeps everyone entertained.
Christmas present that all the family love even our 3 year old.
Something everyone can plan and the younger the player the better they are! My smallest child really likes the fact he can beat the adults as he is so much better at it than we are!
