The ATOM Adult scooter boasts super-smooth front and rear suspension with ‘smart-spring’ technology. With a foldable and lightweight frame and 200mm wheels, the ATOM scooter is the only way to get around town and the robust aluminium frame and longer deck means it is easy to clean and built to last.

Sturdy. Easy to fold. Spanner included too weak to use.
Easy to build though the supplied spanner used to attach the stand is junk; the jaws are too wide so the nut slips inside the spanner when tightening. Had to get my own spanner to hold it.
Once built is sturdy, tested by me (13.5 stone) it really took my weight. Suspension is good and works well. Easy to adjust the handlebar height and fold down easily.

The Atom was delivered much quicker than I expected. That’s good, but if I hadn’t have been at home I’d have missed the delivery. Amazon and the courier could perhaps have told us the delivery was on its way. Over all I do like the Atom and the ‘free’ carrying bag which is very handy; I’m glad I got this as a starter. You definitely feel like you’ve had a good work out on a scooter, saving time and money to boot.
The first things you’ll notice are the annoying handle bars, and the rubber wheels will give you a rough ride especially if you scoot in Devon with all its rough paths and roads. You’re better off in areas designed for smooth surface eco-transport. However, the Atom’s base plate is sturdy, comfortable and non-slip, and the brake is good enough.
In general there’s not much to fiddle with when you get the Atom. It’s so quick and easy to fold and carry, you could take it almost anywhere. That’s all convenient and good but I think I’ll upgrade soon.
The products arrived in good time as expected and we were able to assemble the scooters with ease. The instructions and tools were included to make assembling the scooters very easy, even for me!
My daughters have took to riding the scooters with ease and are wanting to go absolutely everywhere on them, they find it a lot easier to control rather than the previous scooters they have had. The carry bag that also comes with the scooters is also very good to carry when out and to store away once we have come home.
Overall, I would recommend this product, adult and child, to anyone who is looking.

But what I have learnt many haven’t the time or desire (like me) to do reviews but it seems everyone has all the time in the world to do a bad one!!!
Make up your own mind, If you want one – buy one – If you don’t like it send it back and get your money back – its as simple as that!!

The suspension in the back does seem to help absorb some of the bumps.
No suspension in the front, though, as the stickers on it seem to indicate.
The front wheel can occasionally be diverted if it falls in between some larger tiles, but i knew that could be the case with this type of wheel, so we just stay attentive. No falls yet after a few dry and wet months despite the kind of wheels.
Smooth ride, easy to assemble, except the stand (gave up TBH as it was too difficult to attach, have never used the stand), used it a lot during lockdown as exercise with my 4 year old, overall good fun, I had to tighten up the suspension as I weigh almost 100kgs so was scraping a bit due to the weigh
For those worried about the laws on using a scooter in the UK – they are allowed as made clear by my local police in Manchester, however, you must always give the pedestrian right of way and be aware of your surroundings (also make sure to wear helmet, hi viz and get a bel for making others aware).
Perfect for when I can get back to the office!! Using it on my daily exercise for now 😉
