This baby food maker is a total game changer! It is a must have for every baby registry! The process to make healthy baby food is an unbelievable time saver! This is one of the best purchases we have made!
Does exactly what it should. Easy to work and clean. Blends enough to fill a 12 portion silicone baby food freezing tray. Blended results are pretty good. Blends foods with only tiny texture chunks remaining (ex: sugar snap peas has small fibrous bits, rice still has small lumps), meaning it’s not as creamy as store bought, FYI. It’s more of a stage 2 food maker.
3 months later, and I still love it! So easy to use, and you can make the food completely smooth or chunky, depending on how old your lovebug is. I waited to review this product, but 10/10 recommend. And I use it for soups, sauces, and desserts for the family!
If you get it, I recommend getting a few silicone ice cube trays with covers. Between the two, solids is a breeze! 🙂

I have used this daily, and it has just been really convenient, time saving, and wonderful for me to make my infants foods for each meal. It’s easy to use & straightforward.
One note, is remember to mix with some type of liquid (I either use water or breast milk), because if it is a dry item, it’ll just get stuck on the sides and not blend as well as it could. I feel this is for any blender used though.

It’s compact, yet powerful and super functional. It’s my one-stop shop for all baby food. We’ve already steamed fruit, veggies, and meats in it. I love how I can easily steam and puree baby food right away. The water tank lasts a couple of steaming rounds until it needs to be refilled. Highly recommend!

I’ve really enjoyed being able to use this machine to make my second sons baby food. HIGHLIGHTS:
Love that they give you a free suction cup bowl and spoon when you text a number! My little one absolutely loves the spoon and it’s very safe for his little chompers. He bites it like crazy, but it doesn’t hurt at all.

I am a first time mom and wanted to make my baby girls food and I got to tell you this is amazing it’s literally an all in one! Easy to use, easy to clean and when she starts to have more solid like food I will still be able to use it to steam her food! I have made so much pures with this! I have been using for four months and the only glitch I had was when I was going on a series of making all kinds of food after the third batch it was glitching with steaming, I think it got too hot and was worn out so I turned it off for awhile and then was just fine and haven’t had an issue since. It is the most simplistic device you can use! Over time the sweet potatoes and carrots have stained the basket but that’s to be expected. I highly recommend purchasing this if you plan to make your baby food!
My doctor recommended starting purees at 4 months. I began with apples and bananas (1 Oz, once per day, then to 2 Oz. Twice per day at 5 months).
The process literally is a no brainer!
For apples, I peel and cut 2 apples into half inch chunks, toss them in the steam basket, and tap the steam button. Boom – soft apples ready for blending. I then pour out about a quarter of the water in the mixer, leaving the rest to give a smooth/ more watery texture. Tap the auto blend button, and poof – perfect apple baby puree!
I do the same process for banana, minus steaming. I chop up half inch slices, add a little water, and auto mix. It comes out perfect.
I’ve used the same process as apples so far for pears, zucchini, and avocado.
I couldn’t be happier with this steamer/blender. Easily my favorite baby product to date.
Everything you need to make pureed baby food in one unit! You don’t need to worry about using a lot of kitchen space either. The instructions included are easy to read and to follow. I was very surprised at the great quality of the product itself. So far we have done carrots, frozen peas, and sweet potatoes. I do cut the vegetables in smaller pieces as instructed to make the steaming easier; nonetheless, making baby food is such an easy task. The steaming and blending abilities exceeds expectations for the product’s size. It also comes with reusable pouches to store the puree which is awesome.
As a first time Mom I was SO nervous about introducing new foods to my baby boy. He’s previously had digestive issues and it was so important that I was making sure I knew exactly what was going into each recipe.

We really love this baby food maker! I wanted something small and this is more compact than I thought! We had a little discoloration on the steaming basket after steaming carrots but that didn’t really affect anything (to be honest carrots dyed our spoons & bibs too and they are a different brand so I guess carrots are just that strong).
Only thing I wish they included was a tiny brush. Sometimes after running the cleaning cycle and washing there’s a little bit of food under the blades (I always clean right after making food). I used the little brush that came with our Dr. Browns bottle and it was tiny enough. It’d be nice to have its own brush. Overall highly recommend!
I was very pleasantly surprised with this purchase! I really like the auto blend option. I can turn it on and do other things around the kitchen while it blends. It senses when the food is pured enough and turns off automatically.
I also like the LCD touch screen controls and the reminder on the side about how long to steam various foods. It’s very easy to use!
The only drawback is that when you are using the “clean” mode, if you use too much water you will end up with a lake in your counter. I find it easier to just quickly rinse it with soapy water in the sink.
Overall this was a great purchase and I would highly recommend it!
Extremely happy with my decision to purchase the Evlas Baby Food Maker. So simple to complete the whole process. Prepared some fruit/veg from fresh organic produce by slicing into chunks before using this system. Other fruit/veg I have prepared from frozen organics. After carefully reading the instructions and making sure that the leakproof seal was properly installed, it has been extremely easy to use. Do make sure to keep a thumb on the lid closure, as you twist the stirring cup into place, to ensure that the unit is fully sealed for the steaming or blending process. In 3 days we easily prepared carrots, apples, peas, green beans, sweet potato, and butternut squash. Froze it into cubes for easy transport to my niece for her little one.
Looking forward to making some more tonight. So satisfying! Highly recommend.
I decided to buy this baby food maker because it had very good reviews among all the baby food processors on Amazon even though it had a higher price comparing to many others. I have had it now more than a month and I’m pretty happy with it. It is easy to use and quick and saves me time. But to be honest, I don’t see how the cleaning feature is functional, because I always have to wash it again by hands after using the cleaning feature as there is still food residue in the dish. I relate the higher price to the cleaning feature because other similar processors don’t have this option but don’t find it very practical. In general, it’s a good device and has made my job really easy.

The product came well packaged and we immediately heard from the company asking if we were happy with the product and to reach out with any questions we might have. This is so easy to use and to clean. We use it everyday to steam veggies and blend fruits. It’s so nice that you can steam and blend with the same product with little mess. As a parent it’s very reassuring to know what is in the food you are feeding your baby rather than store bought baby food. I wish we had this product with out first child! We cannot recommend this product or company enough!

I absolutely love Evlas food prep and blender for our baby. I done a lot of research to find the perfect machine and a lot of blenders do not blend to a pure but Evlas do! The first thing I made in the machine was carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. It is so easy to follow, just a push of a button, and again so easy to clean. The handy pouches that come with the machine are great for freezing food inside.

We use it almost daily for making baby food.
The steaming function is fantastic for just making a small amount of freshly steamed food for my son to be able to eat. If your baby is still eating mush food, the water underneath steamed veggies can be added to save extra nutrients from the food.
The blender function is excellent, I love having the option to hit the blend button and walk away when making pouch food, or just a quick pulse can be chosen if just a splash of liquid had been added. I can make 3-3.5 ounce pouches for my son in one batch. The unit comes with reusable pouches which save a ton of money when needing to feed on the go. The store bought pouches get expensive quick!
The components themselves can be taken apart very easily to clean.
Speaking of clean, it has an option to clean, or sanitize the machine with just the touch of a button. Super helpful, but we do wash it regularly also.
The unit came with an extra o-ring, which is super helpful as these kinds of things can be expected to need to be replaced.
There isn’t really anything I don’t love about this baby food maker. I only wish I had it sooner, as it has made my life much easier and I got it when my child was almost a year old.

The Evla steamer and blender has made preparing my babies meals simple and easy. I’ve made batches to freeze and have also used to blend up food that we as a family have been eating as well. I wish I had this for my first baby 7 years ago. The steamer is easy to use and works perfectly and is so simple to swap to blender as soon as it is finished which once again is simple and easy to use. Although this gem arrived and has been sitting on the counter for a week, I see my daughter reaching for the stainless steel pot and basket steamer to make sweet potatoes for my 6-month old granddaughter last night. I encouraged her to try the new baby food steamer and exhausted she said, I don’t have time to learn a new appliance. I reached for the sweet potato and said I’ll wash, peel and cut you just figure out the sterilization feature and if it’s easy then we will use it if not I will take over from here and make dinner for the baby. In the time it took me to wash and peel the potato, she had the sterilization going with 10 minutes on the timer. She went to pump breast milk (her work never ends) and when she got back it was time to put the cut sweet potatoes in the machine. OMG how easy this gem is to use. I went back to my chores and 30 mins later, when I returned, the baby was finished eating and she was already processing apple sauce in prep for breakfast. She thanked me and smiled this sigh of relief, no more basket steaming on the stove, no more food processor step, no more waiting for the pan to cool and washing a sink full of dishes for 1 sweet potato. I think her life just got a little bit easier and that’s what grandmas (Mimi) are for. No wonder baby food steamer/maker is rated 5 stars! The only one I could find with 5 stars. I was apprehensive on buying this one, it was a little more expensive and had a smaller capacity than others and I know my daughter intends to meal prep ahead of time. But this little machine cleans and sterilizes itself, steams and pures all in the same container and the result is flawless. She can clean and cut everything then in painless batches prepare my granddaughter’s meals. What I wouldn’t have given for this 27 years ago when my daughter was trying her first sweet potatoes! It steams and blends any food perfectly and you can control the amount of time it steams for so it can be used for bigger bits of food for baby led weaning as well as for pures.
The fact it also blends on a timer is also brilliant as I don’t have to keep an eye on it I can just wait for it to finish.

After some research I decided to purchase this machine based on the feedback from other mums. It’s quick and easy to set it up. I always sterilise first, then add the food (fruit, vegetable fish, meat etc) to the steamer basket, set it up for 15/20 mins depending on the selection. Once the food is steamed the machine beeps. Then you remove the basket, empty the water and add the food in the main container with the blender. I’m doing a mix of BLW and puree for different textures and can be used for both. You can add a lid, select blend and that’s it. Food is ready for baby to eat.
While feeding I add water and it cleans itself so it’s all ready for the next time. This was a great selling point for me. Reviews on other products often mention they can be difficult to clean, so the fact this sterilises and cleans itself is amazing.

If you are like me and have million and one kitchen gadgets and wonder if you need another one, the short answer is yes. Despite having food processor, NutriBullet, steamer I decided to purchase this machine based on the feedback from other buyers. It was the best decision. It makes baby weaning such an easy process. It’s so compact and easy to clean. No more messing around and setting up and washing 50 items. It takes few seconds to set it up, you add chopped veggies (fruit, fish, meat etc) to the steamer part, set it up for 15/20 mins depending on the product, once the food is steamed the machine beeps. Then you add the food in the main container with the blender, throw away the water and add milk (or keep it if you want more watery taste) and add a lid, select blend and that’s it. Food is ready for baby to eat.

Excellent product for making nutritious baby food. You can make different consistencies too for different stages of weaning. It’s really simple to use, and easy to clean, there’s a self cleaning function but I put mine in the dishwasher as it’s dishwasher safe. This was a great purchase and an absolute life saver and game changer for baby food prep. We would buy one for ourselves and anyone who has recently had a baby.
However…it has stopped working today, 9th of April 2021. We’ve contacted Evlas website and now Amazon so hopefully we get some resolution soon. To be updated!

Brilliant machine does exactly what it says. The self clean mode is a really good touch. Steams blends and cleans. Size is perfect for smaller amount of food.
What can I say I have never had such great customer service. The product is great for my little one. Its easy to use, thebuild quality is great. Easy to clean its a game changer. I also use it to make smoothies for my toddler with it you dont have to use the steam function.
I absolutely love this product!! The value for price is perfect. I really love that there is a sterilizing and steam option on the blender, therefore I needn’t worry about bacteria or using access equipment. The size and shape is compact and easy to have your chopping board on a small counter.
I have already recommended to other mums and family. I also use the blender for my self sometimes as well since there is a steaming option. The is no leaking and for busy mums its great as everything is auto and you can set a timer (There is an alarm that beeps about 6 times once its all done). As a first time mum this blender has made weaning fun and exciting for me! I love that there was a pleasant surprise in the blender pot! I feel like the business has more to offer rather than just the blender. You get recipes for weaning on PDF, a surprise treat after you activate your free 2 year warranty online and you can keep in touch with the business owner on her email or text if you have any questions as she also has two toddlers of her own.
There is also a help website to show videos of how to use the different product functions as well as other things they have to offer such as a bottle sterilizer and a double baby feeder where you can steam two separate pots simultaneously. There is also the option to live chat on facebook on the company website. Its a perfect cute intimate small family owned business. Please support, they deserve it! I feel so supported and welcomed. Customer service is perfect! A lot of bigger companies can make you feel little intimidated with all your questions however these guys are so warm and welcoming as well as helpful .
It’s simple to use, easy to clean and it leaves you time to do other stuff while it’s doing it’s thing! The pouches are a real bonus too, great for stocking up in readiness for those middle of the night feeds!
