We bought Flappy for our daughter when she was 11 months old and she soon took to him!
Flappy is a cuddly toy which comes with two motorised ‘flappy’ ears that move when you press one of two buttons, labelled ‘Sing’ and ‘Play’ located on the base of Flappy’s feet.
Press ‘Sing’ and Flappy’s ears start moved in tune to a rather nice song, “do your ears flip flop?”
Press ‘Play’ and Flappy plays peekaboo where Flappy’s ears cover his eyes (although with weak batteries they don’t quite cover his eyes as can be seen in my video review)
Since our daughter started walking she bursts into dance and occasionally squeals with delight when Flappy is played!
The effect has been a comforting toy for her providing reassurance when she needed it.
We’ve owned Flappy for almost a year and in that time he has been cuddled, thrown about and sat on all without issue.
As such, Flappy the Elephant is Highly Recommended!

Loveable, cuddly and catchy song, my little girl loves it.
My 5 month old granddaughter really loves watching and listening to Flappy the Elephant. She will be able to play peek a boo as she grows older and I’m sure she will love him for a long time.
Got this as a gift for my 10 weeks old granddaughter who absolutely loves it and the singing is fab too.

This is a wonderful gift for my one and a half-year-old niece. It’s soft, cuddly, and super duper cute – the quality is much higher than I expected. The interactive element is clear and adorable to listen to. It does get repetitive over time, but what toy doesn’t?

Arrival time was as stated. I have bought this for my future granddaughter , January, I love it , the sound is perfectly clear. I can hear and understand everything he says and sings . Batteries are already included (3x aa) so you can play with Kissy straight away. The box says it’s suitable for ages 10m+ but I think it would be ok for younger babies too as there’s no small parts and they’d love watching Kissy move. He speaks both English and French which can be changed easily. His main feature is singing and blowing kisses. He flaps his wings as he sings and moves his head. I love this so much, it’s absolutely adorable. Even if this didn’t have any animated features it would be a high quality soft toy — the baby penguin is made from a super-soft plush and is eminently cuddle-worthy. But the animation and speech/singing functions make this even cuter than it looks.

Eine super Idee, eine tolle Kinderstimme aber leider auf englisch, was trotz Kenntnisse teilweise nicht zu verstehen ist. Daher habe ich es zurck gesandt und nochmals auf deutsch gekauft. Es wre besser, wenn darauf hingewiesen wird, dass auf englisch gesungen und gesprochen wird. Dennoch ist der Elefant entzckend auch die Ohren, die die Augen zeitweise verschlieen, sind toll

Great toy – though think I like it more than the baby! It only plays one tune (so would have been nice to play more) but it’s a ‘nicer’ tune that’s not overbearing when played on repeat, One foot plays the tune and the other foot makes the toy talk.

The tune isn’t too annoying either so you won’t go completely stir crazy like with other toys.
I like the fact it’s simple. Plays peekaboo or sings a nursery rhyme while flapping ears and that’s it, so keeps the attention of the little one.
I love this so much. My husband has wanted this for a while as we were gifted a Gund bear for our baby. We decided to go an elephant theme (standard!) for baby room, and this was just perfect. It’s so sweet and really interactive. 100% recommend

Very well-built and looks fantastic, but there’s only one song (which goes on forever) and one set of spoken phrases. Also not that cuddly as the battery/mechanism is fairly bulky. Your young child will probably love it – you might get sick of the song quite quickly.
