VOX – MODE

Overall I love the monitor. Me and my wife have two kids and dual monitoring system devices aren’t reliable. I love the musics feature it have to scroll through different nursery rhymes and also has a option to have them all play. Calms my son down. Battery lasts much better than my Infant Optics DXR-8 monitor (which doesn’t last longer than an hour off charge. Always been that way) I love this monitor especially for under $100 compared to the Infant Optics $200.
The cons are that the night vision isn’t that good. You can see your child but it’s grainy and pixelated, which I didn’t expect perfection. The other downside is that, when you play the music, it isn’t loud in the bedroom, but loud on the monitor. The music will also continue to play if you turn the monitor off, so you have to pause it on the monitor if you want it off or let it play.
The pros are plenty, it’s affordable, well built and quality is amazing. The day picture is near perfect. The range has been amazing. The music is a huge upside.
Overall, this monitor outperforms the Infant Optics DXR-8 monitor for their respective prices. Highly recommend.
Great investment!! You can’t really put a price on a piece of mind so this camera is worth every penny. I can’t recommend it enough. You will be so glad you bought it. I can actually get things done while baby is sleeping now. The only thing I would suggest is they give you an additional wall mount incase you have to move the camera from room to room but I’m guessing they don’t so you have to buy a second camera wich is still no big deal. Get this ASAP, you won’t regret it!
I love it and this picture I took a few days ago of my baby sleeping on my husband while I was in the kitchen is too cute. The battery doesn’t hold long though. You need to remember to charge it after every use. Also, I was asked by e-mail to write a review to get an additional camera for free. Never received that so, there go some empty promises.
Have had the camera for about a month now with no issues! Ordered a second camera already to set up in the living room and will be ordering a third in a few months to use in the new baby’s room. LOVE the pan and tilt feature. Hoping this camera holds up for us – it’s looking promising so far!
After trying the camera for a few weeks can now state that it’s definitely a great baby monitor. Picture quality is far from HD but I can see my baby no problem daylight or in night vision,so that’s all I need. Parent unit has a great battery life and the range is brilliant too.
I purchased another baby monitor prior to this one and it didn’t compare. Love the 360 pan function, can see baby’s entire room! Night time vision is pretty good for the price. Only reason why I deducted a star is because the daytime picture quality is slightly blurry once we mounted it onto the wall for a better view of entire crib. But that could be because it’s further away then it was designed for? Not sure. I like that it reads the rooms temperature also. This monitor has other great features like music and speaker but I haven’t had to use those. Battery life could be improved. Have to keep it plugged in while in use otherwise it dies after a few hours.

Gerte finden sich eigenstndig und schafft mindestens eine Entfernung von 20 m. Kinderzimmer im Obergeschoss und Wohnzimmer im Erdgeschoss!

Not the best quality but not the worst either. Sound is pretty good but charge on the monitor doesn’t last as long as I’d like. Again not bad for what it is.
We had an older model of the HelloBaby monitor that lasted us just under 4 years. We used it through two kids and had it paired to 2 cameras. It took a horrific beating from both of our kids (was consistently thrown, stepped on, chewed on, etc) and only in the past month did it finally stop working properly. These monitors don’t have the world’s best picture (it’s pretty good but still grainy. You can see all the limbs and objects but not facial expressions, eyes, or stuff like that). We don’t need to see every hair on our kids’ heads so we don’t mind. To be honest, I assumed the image on this newer model would be crisper, but it isn’t (and it’s not a big deal to us). This brand is reasonably priced and the last one withstood years of abuse from our toddlers, I think it’s the best choice for a video monitor that doesn’t have every bell and whistle. We want to see and hear the kids and not pay over $100, this checks every box!
We’ve had several of these over the years to keep an eye out our two littles as they sleep. This one was by far superior to any other brand. The price is exceptional for what you get. I especially like how you’re able to move the camera without having to access that mode in the menu, there are dedicated buttons that just pan and tilt. It works very well at some impressive distances. Both floors of our house from one end to the other with zero connectivity issues at all. Also works well with multiple different monitors in use. We’ve had issues with other brands if we had both of our kids monitors in the same room they would interfere with each other. This one doesn’t seem to do that at all. And the battery is terrific, used it 3 nights in a row for a few hours each night without needing to recharge or leave it plugged in during use.
Absolutely great for the price. We’ve had $300 monitors that weren’t nearly as nice as this one

Best feature is the rotating camera, night vision, good picture quality, music options in the camera operated from the monitor. Absolute life saver. Fr diesen Preis ist die Kamera unschlagbar. Natrlich kann man da keine super Bildqualitt erwarten aber man sieht alles gut uns die Bedienung ist auch sehr leicht und einfach. Wrde es bis jetzt wieder holen mehr kann ich noch nicht zum Produkt sagen da es erst in ein paar Wochen im vollen Einsatz ist.
Haben uns HelloBaby entschieden wegen den durchaus positiven Bewertungen und wurden auch nicht enttuscht. Die Bildqualitt ist sehr gut auch im Nachtsichtmodus. Besonders gefllt mir das ich die Kamera am Elternteil verstellen bzw bewegen kann. Alles in allem ein gutes Produkt zum fairen Preis.
Unser erstes Babyphone, haben also keine Vergleiche. Sind sehr zufrieden, gute Tonqualitt, gutes Bild nachts wie auch tagsber.
Was uns nicht ganz so toll gefllt, ist der StromAnschluss an der Kamera. Der Anschluss hat einen nicht ganz so guten Platz am Produkt.
I waiting a few months to review to see if it had any issues. Overall this monitor is great, the night vision, picture quality and sound are wonderful. However it will periodically lose connection with the monitor for a few seconds at a time but will reconnect on its own, we live in a very small house with our living room less than 10 feet from the nursery. Additionally the lowest brightness setting is still very bright, we turn the monitor away from the bed at night as it is disturbing when sleeping.
We have tried several other monitors that all had issues. This is the first I have gotten that I have no complaints about. The picture is good quality especially in night vision. It has a aux mode which is great. When the screen is dark in aux mode the sound doesn’t play, a feature I love because my kids sleep with sound machines and I was tired of hearing them through the monitor all night. The range is good on this unit. We have an old house and with other units, we were having trouble with the connection even within the house. This monitor covers the whole house plus about 50 yards outside. Overall love it!
This baby monitor has all the bells and whistles. Excellent sound, great night vision, zoom in and out, tilt the camera left, right, up, down with the touch of a botton. Very easy to use. You can even talk through the baby cam, play musical melodies that are included on the monitor. The monitor is a good size so that you can see everything. It even shows the temperature in the room! Excellent reception. 5/5!
So, I just got this and my review is just of the last 24 hours but so far – I LOVE IT!
We were gifted the owlet camera, however, that requires WiFi to function and we live rurally with no internet access. (How are you writing this review, you might ask? Phone hotspot )
It was SUPER easy to set up. Came pre charged. Literally just turned it on and went to town observing my little one’s sleep.
Also, super easy to mount! I suggest getting those cord protector wall mount things – you know what I’m talking about – so your little one doesn’t mess with the cord and is also aesthetically pleasing. (If you care about that.)
We have a nest cam and this one for our baby. I actually prefer this one even though the quality isn’t as good because it’s easy to use, turns off when there isn’t any noise (if you choose to have that option on), and it’s very sensitive to sound. I think it’s a good price for what you get!
Haben eins von Freunden ausgeliehen und sofort festgestellt das man aufjedenfall eine Kamera mit Schwenk baren Kopf braucht und sind auf das Teil gestoen Dreh bar in allen Positionen Auflsung reicht voll kommen aus und der Preis ist auch top haben knapp 70 bezahlt . Nur das einzige Manko das der Funk in paar Stellen im Haus Probleme macht hlt sich aber in Grenzen . Wrde es immer wieder kaufen und es kommen demnchst noch 2 zustzlich Kameras fr die andern Rume dazu
Pretty good baby monitor, I would’ve given this monitor a 5 star but due to some minor glitches- it looses signal for a split second (not always) but cannot give it a full 5star. Also, I really wish it had the feature to show the time on the monitor. But it’s quite minor as well. Other then that the picture is prefect, love that it pans and can move the monitor up/down and side/side. Battery also lasted the whole night without being plugged in.
Overall a good monitor for the price.
I absolutely love this monitor! I had originally got the infant optics back in 2019 for my first baby at my baby shower…the night vision stopped working after 1.5 years and the manufacturer did not want to replace it…I came across this monitor, way more cost friendly, and the reviews were great. Turns out, it is great! The night vision was the biggest plus for me too works great! I did run into a problem after about 6 months with the On/Off button getting stuck so I couldn’t turn it on or off…I reached out to hello baby and they were so nice and efficient in helping me with the monitor and sending me a new one! Love this company and manufacture! Highly recommend!!
This monitor is the best I’ve ever owned. I’ve owned about five in the past seven years. I’ve only bought the top brands in the past and ive always been let down. Some stop charging some have buttons that stick some freeze, and as we all know baby monitors are something as parents we rely on especially during the night hours. I’ve had this monitor for about a week and it has The best features. Non-USB charging which means you don’t have to worry about the USB port getting disconnected and Janky. It has the VOX feature where you can have the sound on but not the brightness of the screen. It’s got alarms it’s got lullabies it tilts and zooms it’s lightweight it’s the perfect size Overall this monitor is an amazing unit. I’ve bought Panasonic Motorola VTEC and safety first and they’ve all let me down in one way or another. I will be updating if anything happens with this monitor but I just don’t see anything bad happening.
I have only had the unit for a week or so, but it is working as I need it to. The monitor is small enough to fit nicely on my nightstand. I got this to replace our old sound-only monitors for my teenage special needs son. We need to know when he wakes up and sometimes he would sit up in bed and we would not know if he did not make any noise, so needed to be able to see him. I like the “vox” option on this monitor which lights up the video if any noise/motion is detected. The screen is pretty bright even on the lower brightness setting, so the vox setting allows up the screen to go dark and then lights up with movement so we can sleep without the bright monitor light being constantly on. The night vision picture quality is good enough. There is a little odd coloring during the day when we checked it, but we do not use it during the daylight time as my son does not nap. It is easy enough I could move the camera around the house to put it wherever he is playing to keep an eye on him if I need to be in another room. I like that I can adjust the camera up/down, side-to-side from the monitor. I cannot speak to its longevity yet, so will update in the future if it ever fails early.
Was looking for a non wifi baby monitor and came across this one. Works well with full range. The only drawback is the camera zooms in in the original setting, so you have to place the camera a bit further and higher to make the image not too close. The volume is good as well. I did not use the temperature and lullaby function so not sure how well that works. Love that it’s 360 degree.
Really good. I love that you can move the camera with the monitor. I don’t know if I lost the mounting hardware or if it didn’t come with it, but I’ve had to buy that separately. The only thing is sometimes the monitor gets too far from the camera and loses signal. I move around our small house with the monitor in my pocket so I can hear my baby, and when it loses signal, it kind of freaks me out.
This monitor works very well. Night vision is good enough to see child. Very good range on this unit. You can be quite far from the house and monitor will still stay connected, which is great if you are out in the back yard.
Just loved the camera! Very good definition! The monitor also is good! The only Con is that there is no battery built in, so it needs to be connected to the power! But…I totally recommend! I did an adaptation attaching the camera on the top of a sugar lid as you can see the photos and used a support that I bought! Perfect!
Night vision is good. It’s really dark in my baby’s room (you can’t see your hand if it’s in front of you) and I’m still able to see my baby’s face perfectly on the camera. The battery life could be a little better, although my monitor is off the charger from 7am until 11pm most days. Throughout the day it’s on for 4hrs throughout the day and from 6pm-11pm straight without the needing to be charged/plugged in.
It’s easy to setup and take pretty much anywhere that has a plug in. I like that it doesn’t connect to my phone, so if grandma is baby sitting she doesn’t have to rely on her device. Plus I’m not a fan of devices that use wifi that sit in my baby’s room.
So I never write reviews, especially for a baby monitor because, well, I have babies so I don’t have time. My experience with this monitor and company are definitely worth sharing, however. The monitor works great and has all the features we wanted and is very affordable compared to most other video monitors with a pan tilt and a zoom camera etc. We needed a new monitor for our 3rd baby and wanted similar features to our old Motorola but don’t need all of the crazy bells and whistles (poor 3rd child). This monitor has many of those bells and whistles though. Win-win! On top of that, the company has been wonderful to work with. We have a puppy and a baby right now and our puppy chewed through the cord for the parent monitor. I emailed the tech support listed on the back of the monitor and they have been so kind and thorough in communicating with me and sending a replacement at no charge! They actually sent two! Maybe they have puppies as well lol. All that said, we are very happy with this purchase.

One guy posted not to drop the hand held because it breaks easy so we baby it for sure.
OH and the handheld has a little stand in the back that you can pull out so thats cool too. It’s about 2/3 the size of a Samsung s20.
Fantastic!!! We previously had a Infant Optics DXR8 and had so many issues with it staying plugged in and the battery having intermittent issues that would only be resolved by pulling the battery out every few days (annoying). This one doesn’t interfere with out daughter’s infant optics which is nice since she still has one. The features, night vision and image are nearly identical, but this one has better range so I can actually see my son when he’s at his door. I would choose this over Infant Optics any day of the week. I wish they made these back when I had our daughter! They are so much better!

Nice camera with alot of option such as: playing music, talking option, rotating camera. The battery life of the screen is long enough for all day. The only I do not like oe maybe I dont know how to set it yet. The screen goed by itself to saving mode when there is no noise so you do not see the baby or hear the baby giggle, only when baby cried loud.
I love this product, especially at the price. The night vision is great, and the movement of the camera from the monitor is fantastic. This was an easy system to set up and figure out. Brings great sense of security to mine and my babies life.

My daughter loves this , she can easily keep an eye on baby even in the dark , the picture quality can be improved a bit more but over all its a great item and got for a really good price.
he clarity of the picture is amazing but my issue with them is the wires to plug in are so short that I had difficulty placing them where I wanted to and had to order extension cords that now made it bulky looking in the room and the picture part is so light that it often won’t stay in the position I want it to cause the pressure from the plugged in part moves it. and my wish for all monitors is that it comes with the time on the monitor otherwise very good.
The VOX feature is super neat and help you sleep without a bright light in your eyes all night when the baby is just laying still. It only awakens the screen when the baby moves enough or makes enough noise to activate it. Also saves on battery.
Only downfall I have found of this monitor is when the battery gets low it only beeps three times before it shuts off.
Over all best money spent for a monitor cheap enough its a great gift for a shower.
Our 3-year old son has special needs, and we were not quite sure how his transition from a crib to a big boy bed would go. We bought this video monitor system, thinking at least then we can keep an eye on him. It has served its purpose well, and given us a sense of ease, not needing to go into his room every time we’re wondering if he’s gotten up or is not sleeping well. We love having the ability to pan around the room as well, as often he falls asleep in other parts of his room! The only reason it’s 4 star instead of 5 is just due to the video quality itself, it’s a bit grainier than we were hoping for, but overall still fine. For the price, would recommend.

Check the 1 star reviews it literally does not last. I’ve had it less than a month the battery life SUCKS. They’ve changed this product or their quality control is trash now because they got popular. Don’t buy it. You need something reliable for your children.

The video quality is okay, not amazing but then again the price point is on the lower end! Night vision is great I can see everything clear no matter how dark it is.

We love this monitor! We used to have a vtech and the battery was junk. It took some time to get used to the pan feature, we didnt have that on our last monitor. The battery life is great! Picture quality is great! I have nothing negative to say about this product! Just buy it, you wont be disappointed!
Love this monitor! The ability to pan the room remotely is such a must for us now that our little guy is mobile. Good audio and visual quality. Love that there’s 2-way communication, something I wouldn’t have thought of but we use a lot! Definitely recommend this monitor!
Overall, we like this monitor. It doesn’t detect motion, though it doesn’t claim to, but it picks up sound. You can change the setting to pick up smaller sounds or move it up to only pick up louder crying. It was easy to install, and it works really well. I like the lullaby feature and the temperature recording. My only complaint is sometimes when playing a lullaby it makes a louder static-y sound. It usually doesn’t seem to bother my baby, but it might bother some lighter sleepers. The monitor, not the camera part, makes a really loud beeping sound when the battery it low, and it won’t stop until you plug it in. I usually have it charged, but this doesn’t seem like a good feature on a product used when baby is sleeping. It has an option to connect more than one camera for a wider nursery coverage, which is a really nice feature.
I’m a first time parent and didn’t know what kind of camera to get so I can hear/watch my son when we sleep at night and he’s in his crib. This camera is perfect! It’s almost like watching him in the same room, the night vision is perfect I can see everything, and it has a temperature gage so when I notice it’s too cold I can turn the heat up for him. I haven’t tried the 2 way chat but the sound is great I can hear him loud as day and it’s awesome that I can turn the screen off while I sleep but can still hear him (just click the power button once when it’s on.) Overall, I’d recommend this!
I love this baby monitor. It picks up baby’s sounds very well. Even little peeps from baby you can hear. I love that you can move where the camera is looking and the controls are so easy to use. The video is super clear which is really important but it’s auto turns on night vision and you don’t have the option to switch to not night vision so if the room is just a little dark it’s in night vision mode which was annoying but I got over it. I recommend this video monitor for sure!
We’ve had this about a month and so far so good. Really impressed with battery life (this is a replacement and has a longer life than our previous one). Night vision is ok – black and white. For the price and what we use it for I highly recommend.
This bad boy does much of what higher-end models do. It’s a great baby monitor with super convenient functions such as zoom, pan, temp reading, and 2-way talk. The only criticism I have is the display doesn’t have a time reading. Other than that, it’s a great, cost-effective baby monitor.
Okay, so I ordered one for one price and it came on sale for $20 less so I ordered another and was gonna return the first. The first ended up missing the camera cord so worked out. So far we love it. The two way talk has been so handy, the quality is there. I have nothing to compare it too, but I can see my baby’s breathing and that’s enough for me. For the price point try this first. Hope it holds up for a long time.
Third baby monitor we’ve purchased as Kodak one died and other one was really cheap. This one has the ability to turn the screen off so the battery lasts longer and it is perfect for night time. The camera doesn’t get the widest angle which is the only real downside.
We’ve been using this for just over a year now and have had no issues with it whatsoever. My only complaint is that the screen is very bright even at it’s lowest setting so checking in the middle of the night is both good and bad, it’s bright enough to see clearly into the crib, but it’s also a bit harsh on the eyes. That being said, we’ve used it a lot while working in our backyard while the baby naps and I can see from a quick glance even out in the bright sun if the baby is sleeping or not. It claims a 1,000 ft range – I don’t know about that, but our babies room is in the front basement room and we can have the monitor in the middle of our 1/2 acre backyard before the connection starts to cut out. The sound is great, I leave it on the lowest setting so I only hear the baby if he is actually crying and not just grunting or wiggling. I will say I tried another set from a big name that starts with an O…. I much prefer this one. The night vision is clear, the room temperature works great, the signal is great. I also bought a second camera and had it in our room while the baby was still in a bassinet and it was quick and easy to pair. You could choose one camera or the other or set it to scroll between the two. Honestly for less than $100 i would say I definitely got my money’s worth.
Fantastic baby monitor. My husband did a lot of researching when we were looking at all of the options. This camera was for sale at a great price and the quality is excellent. Night vision is pretty clear and I like the fact that it’s not over wifi.
I don’t write reviews and haven’t for years, but this monitor is awesome. Literally no set up required, just plug in and it works. Picks up sound great, moves easily, and is user friendly! Once the parent monitor is unplugged the battery barely lasts a night, but I think it’s supposed to be unplugged mostly for naps. Keeping it plugged it on the bedside table works just fine.
Update!! After using our monitor constantly for two years the monitor screen started randomly having a green hue. I contacted customer support and they walked me through trouble shooting with no success. They ended up mailing me a new monitor, and I was completely blown away. Great customer service, great company!
Extremely useful and recommended it some friends as well, havent tried any others tbh but this one has all we need. Intentionally dint want a wifi one in babys bedroom, this is perfect and no network issues for us.
My baby started rolling over at 4mo. I would go in his room to check on him and he’d be face down!!! So this monitor has eased so many fears for me. I no longer have to sit in his room in the middle of the night to watch him sleep if he makes a noise. Now, I can stay in my room and check on him if need be.
I’m a light sleeper, so I love how you can turn the screen off at night. The only light that shows are a couple little green dots to indicate that their is noise in his room (he has a sound machine).
Wireless makes life soooo easy! And it’s really great night vision! I also don’t have issues with glitching!
There are A Ton of reassuring monitoring options for this set. I can’t even say i’ve tried all the options. I think it’s so great that I can know the temperature of the room the baby is in since that can vary from room to room. I have noticed before she does that it’s way to cold and she’s kicked off her blanket. You can even set a range to be alarmed if the temperature reaches outside of the range you set. It’s a relief to both of us that the camera allows me to press a button and talk into it so she knows i’ve heard her and i’m on my way. The camera itself is able to pan up and down generously making it easier to find your child in their room without having to re-adjust camera placement. I haven’t used the lullaby feature but that’s cool, I guess you can play music to assist with comforting your child. While I don’t have other cameras connected, that’s a winning feature as well! The buttons and icons are obvious and intuitively manageable. I’ve dropped the camera maybe twice now and I haven’ t seen any malfunctioning consequence to that. I’m convinced it’s the best camera monitor I could have purchased, and they come in two different colors. Get you one!
Purchased this camera because of the reviews and the price. And I was not disappointed. I’m actually very impressed. I had more expensive camera and this one is way better. Love the zoom and tilt function cuz my baby moves a lot in her crib. The picture quality is also great compared to my other one. Also customer service was great, I had an issue with the stand on the one I initially purchased and they sent me a new one within days. Definitely recommend this camera.

If you don’t the monitor screen lit at all times, you can set it to alert you when it detects sound. The sound detection has two levels – at the highest sensitivity, the monitoring unit is activated when a large truck passes on the street, so it would definitely detect small baby noises. At the less sensitive setting, it alerts us when kiddo cries or bangs on something loud, like a metal safety gate.
There is one level of zoom, so it’s fine for monitoring a 5 year old, but might not be sensitive enough to see if a baby is breathing, in case that’s your need.
If the display has a color mode, there’s never been enough light for it to work in our space. Then again, it is a darker space, especially when we use the unit at night.
The only way to watch the feed is by using the included monitor – it’s not web-based, and you can’t check it on your phone. For us, this is a positive feature because it’s not relaiant on sometimes-spotty WiFi.
My aunt, who has dementia, recently moved in with me and I needed to monitor her from my room during the night. So I purchased this system. The sound is excellent! Not only can I hear her talking in her sleep , but I can hear the movement of her walker on the vinyl tile floor as she navigates to the bathroom during the night. The monitor resolution is inconsistent though. Sometimes the picture is clear and other times isn’t. (She sleeps with a night stand light on.)
I dod experience a couple of times where the monitor lost signal with the camera, but nothing notable to turn me off the camera.
I alao enjoy that you can have the volume all the way off or hace it on or voice activated for baby cries.
I use two cameras with one monitor when I babysit my two grandbabies. I love how I can sync the cameras and set the monitor to toggle between the two when both babies are napping. I can also leave the monitor set for just one camera when only one is napping. The picture is crisp enough for my needs. And the night vision works great. One criticism I have is that the monitor is very bright when I use it overnight. Although it has dim settings, it does not dim low enough. I can shut the screen off completely, but would prefer to have a dimmer setting so I can still view. Overall, I really like this product. Especially for the cost. Would definitely recommend.
We needed new monitor for grandchild and had used an expensive Infant Optics one before.. At this price, we assumed we were losing quality that we had experienced . We were happily surprised to see that the visual quality and IR view is better than the more expensive brands.. It’s bells and whistles like panning, zooming , sounds and 2 way audio all worked great.. Only criticism is battery life for parent’s unit but we pretty keep it plugged in anyhow. Other than that , it would be 5 stars in my book.
It’s a decent WiFi-less monitor for the price. I wouldn’t say the picture is crystal clear but we’ve been using it for several months and it’s worked for our purpose. We mounted ours to the wall using command strips, which has worked. My only issue is that sometimes it freezes and one time it froze to the point where I could NOT reset it, even after unplugging, holding the off button down, etc. I’d also say the battery on this isn’t great and we usually have to keep it plugged in. Overall though, we’re happy with it.
It is a great monitor. Does what i need it to do, clear image, pans left to right and up and down and I can hear cries clearly. It has other additional features such as playing songs, giving you the temperature of the room.. The battery will run out by the end of the day but it is a plug in so no big deal. The only thing I wished it had would be the time displayed.
Great monitor for the price, love the ability to move the camera, picture is clear, battery life seems to be great, love that is has the VOX feature at two different volume settings (we have a white noise machine on all the time that keeps the screen and sound activated on the lower volume setting but when switched to the higher volume setting it works fine), knocked a star off because the lowest volume level on the monitor is still really loud (again, we have a white noise machine running in baby’s room so it picks up a steady drone) and the lowest brightness setting is blinding especially when looking at it in a dark room – but with VOX on, neither of these a big issue to complain about since screen and sound only kick on when baby is fussing and I want to be awoken anyway. Will update if I notice any issues as time goes on but so far extremely happy with the purchase
Overall a nice baby camera. 4 stars for not perfect viewing angle and not USB powerbricks. The camera unit has not lights, so it doesnt annoy in the dark. Rotation is quiet, but can be jammed if installed horizontally. Controls are intuitive and comfortable. The signal is strong, penetrates several walls and covers decent distance. Battery life of the monitor unit is acceptable, nothing special. The biggest drawback is that the camera has no battery and both of the units are powered by special adapters, non USB, so you have to have access to power socket, no powerbanks. Overall I recommend this camera.
I got a different brand for my 1st born, and I had a hard time finding an additional camera for my newborn. To be honest I never liked that camera, but didn’t want to replace the whole thing and spend more.
After much research and reading many comments this one seem to meet all my needs. And the price with the additional camera was amazing. I really wish I got this one to begin with! It’s very easy to set up, and I love that its doesn’t run on wifi.
The picture is very clear for both day and night vision. It works really well, and being able to move the camera without being in the room is definitely an amazing option to have. The screen is small but a good size, and I like how the stand in the back has a hole. (It makes it easy to hold while your hands are full) I’m hoping it lasts!
Great baby monitor so far. Ive had it for a few weeks, only issue ive noticed is that the range is not always there. It will sometimes go from full reception to lost signal and back to normal 1-2 seconds later. Not a huge issue for me since i live in an apartment but some may find it irritating.
We started out with two: one for each set of grandparents. Both sets of grandparents love it, so we got one for ourselves once we moved our daughter to her own room at eight months. Picture and sound are good. Very low-tech, no Wifi required, easy to install, extremely simple and efficient.
We don’t use the lullabies, alarm clock, communication with Baby, etc. We really just use it to keep an eye on her when she sleeps. The only thing that I would recommend as an improvement would be to have a clock on this monitor. I have to check my phone or alarm clock for the time when she wakes. But, it’s working great in three different households. You can get a fancier one for more $$$, but I say, keep it simple with this one. Worth every penny.

This camera does have a nice clear picture but a lot of the functions I don’t use. Keep in mind if you want the remote/screen to make it through the night it has to be plugged in, the charge doesn’t last. My daughter’s room is just across from ours so I don’t need the sound. I basically have the monitor off and just switch it on to check on her as wanted. I would never use the lullaby feature either. It’s a good price and hopefully the pan/tilt will be more handy as she grows and plays in her room. I probably could have gone more basic for our needs.
For those looking for a good baby monitor don’t hesitate to get this one over any other brand name monitor at a retail store. You won’t be disappointed!
Just as the one star reviewers have pointed out. This camera was great for the 3 months I had it, we used it every day. Now suddenly, the monitor stopped working. It went off and we plugged it in to the charger, it shows a charging light but the screen will not turn on and the power button at the top keeps on getting stuck down. I gave it 2 stars because it was a great camera while it worked, the picture was also good it would only be hard to see when it gets later in the afternoon right before the sun sets in between day and night, the camera doesn’t know how to act and it makes the picture very dark and fuzzy. Eventually though it goes to night mode (which is great). Wish it lasted longer. Now to look for something of better quality!

My husband was able to fix the monitor so it is back to working conditions. Behind the leg stand there is a tiny hole at the bottom left where you can reset the device. He used a thumb tack and was able to reset the monitor. The screen turned on and it is working perfectly again!!!!
We just received our baby monitor and so far we really like it. Our previous monitor, the iBaby monitor, was connected to our WiFi and it had been hacked so we switched to one that didn’t connect to our WiFi. The picture quality of this monitor is just as good as our other monitor which makes me happy because it’s a pretty clear quality. Still going through all the options but it seems to have a good amount of options but not an overwhelming amount. The range you can move the camera around is a good range as well. The “set up” is super easy as well. You just plug the monitor charger in and then plug the camera charger in, press power and it’s ready to go. The monitor and camera come already paired together so no need to connect them. So far so good.
Day time image is still more black and white than colour, some colour is visible. Night vision is quite decent and sound quality is very good. Impressed with the range on this. Tested to approx 1100′ for curiousity and didn’t have any interruption. The movement/motor is very silent allowing parents to change view without disturbing the kids. Battery life seems impressive (4+ hours)
Some people may have problems with the 2.4 GHz frequency interfering with their WiFi. In my case I had no issue as my router automatically chooses the least congested channel for broadcasting. If you’re having issues with interference you’ll need to switch up your 2.4GHz channel on your router OR use the 5GHz band.
Night vision is really good.
Audio is sensitive, you can hear every little peep.
Temperature is accurate.
Pan, tilt functions work as expected.
There’s a cutout on the bottom of the camera so you can mount it to a nail or screw on the wall if you desire.
Camera viewing angle is great.
Battery lasts a long time assuming you aren’t leaving the screen on for extended periods, it’s only 900mAh.
I mean for the price you’d be crazy to not get this thing. It. Just. Works.
The zoom feature is nice too.
Picture quality is descent, compared to what is available now a days for screens it’s certainly not amazing, but for a cheap system like this it’s totally fine.

I wanted to get a non wifi baby monitor that wasn’t an arm an a leg in cost. This is it! We have a white noise machine going during nap time when I am using the monitor, and it does a great job at blocking out the noise when using the vox setting. It turns on video/sound on the monitor when baby begins to stir or make little sounds. I can hear both the white noise and her sounds when it turns on. I have been using the monitor for over two weeks and I have yet had to recharge it. I also like that I can move the video camera in all directions without any problem. Also, the video camera simply plugs into an outlet, so it is easy to move from room to room. Worth the little investment.
I love this for so many reasons. I don’t have to use my phone. It tells me the temperature. Baby can’t hear me unless I press the button. Cam pans the whole room. Two way sound. Sound is clear. Picture with night vision is clear and bright enough to see well. Camera stays on and never turns off. Screen is large enough to see well but not too big. It’s perfect sized. I can watch her from anywhere in the house because the viewing monitor can charge and be mobile. No connection problems anywhere in our 2 bedroom apartment. So much to love about this!!! Oh and camera to watch her has a nice long cord and does not take up much space. I could not be happier with this product!

I purchased this monitor to help keep an eye on a 96 year old who needs 24/7 assistance. (High fall risK!) The features of ease of use, quiet camera motion, and quality of vision both day and night are its best features. However, the recharge cord frayed after 6th months, and I could not find a replacement online. I also did not get a response to my email to the company asking how to get a new recharger, hence the one star for Tech Support. I finally found an old recharger that fit, but 3 months later, it stopped working. When I picked up the dead monitor something rattled inside, so I think perhaps one of the caregivers dropped it. I liked the monitor so much, however, I purchased another one, but will make sure that everyone holds/moves it very carefully!
This camera helps my wife and me by giving us a piece of mind when we set our little one for a nap in the nursery. The sounds are picked up really well and the camera quality isn’t bad at all. Works in both day and night time. Tells you the temperature. You can add more cameras, up to 4 so you can have multiple angles. The camera itself is nice since you can adjust it from the monitor controls to let you move in the direction of your baby. The only negative is the battery life on the monitor, it lasts a few hours on a full charge. Other than that, it is pretty nice for the price.
Really enjoy this camera. Large pan area, welldetIled night viaion mode, great sound with no feedback or underlying buzzing noises (issue we have had with other companies products) and a lot of handy features. Music, and talk function audio was very clear. I had a few questions and customer service was very quick to respond, and very friendly.
With 5 children, it’s hard to always have eyes on everyone! 2 of our children are nonverbal and have autism, their safety is constantly on my mind. After a flood in our kitchen due to our daughter spraying water from the sink, I need we needed cameras of some kind.
I tried WiFi cameras to monitor my children while they slept/played independently, but really wanted a system that had a separate handheld monitor instead of an app. The HelloBaby handheld reminds me of the UUINFANT monitor I have used for almost 2 years and is no longer sold on Amazon. Very happy with my purchase!
The handheld has some great features and is super easy to use. Setting up 3 cameras took me under 5 minutes from unboxing to placing them in the rooms! LOVE the pan/tilt cameras and the “scan” mode so I can keep an eye (and ear) on everyone!
Over all everything works well, also I love the function that I can move the camera around with the parent monitor from the other room<3 it's a mus
We love this camera! Our baby girl is 5.5 months old and we were ready to transition her to her own bedroom, but we didn’t feel comfortable doing so without a reliable camera/monitor (her room is on the third level of our home, and ours is on the first). We opened and used this for the first time last night, and everyone slept so much better! Baby slept through the night (I guess our snoring really was waking her). The monitor has excellent night vision! You can see every wiggle and hear every grunt, if you choose to leave the monitor on continuously like we did. Otherwise, the monitor also has a feature where it goes to sleep until there is motion/noise. Setup took less than 5 minutes, picture quality is fantastic, and we are so happy with this purchase. Worth every penny!! If you’re looking for a reliable monitor, stop here!
The product itself is great and I would definitely recommend. I ordered it along with an extra camera as I have two young children in different bedrooms. Unfortunately when this order arrived, one of the cameras was not working. It was a bit of a pain getting a replacement and I was told different things by two customer service reps. I had also paid for priority shipping so it was delivered before going on holiday to use abroad. I didn’t get refunded for this which was annoying as because of the fault, I didn’t have use of the second camera in which case I wouldn’t have paid extra for delivery.
However everything was eventually sorted and I was sent a replacement and it is all working perfectly now. I would have given a 5 star rating if I didn’t have these issues which the next buyer is unlikely to have so I would definitely recommend the product, especially if you need two cameras. I had a Motorola unit previously and went through 3 extra cameras and still never got 2 to connect at the same time.
The image quality is excellent both on and off night vision and it has the option to view camera 1 or camera 2 OR automatically scan between the two which is ideal to have all the options. We generally leave it plugged in so haven’t tested the battery life really. The range is perfect for our home, it works perfectly in our garden, something the Motorola wasn’t capable of. Overall it is a great system and very good value for money considering the price.
Overall, this is a great camera. The night vision is absolutely perfect! I originally bought the Infant Optics baby monitor but I sent the camera back for a new one because the night vision was so bad that we couldn’t see our baby. I’m currently still waiting on my replacement (1mo after sending it back). I bought this camera for in the meantime and I’ve decided to keep it even when I receive my replacement from Infant Optics.
Pros: crystal clear camera, especially the night vision. The night vision is so clear that it looks like daytime on the monitor. The green light on the actual camera is dim enough in her bedroom that you cannot see it when the room is dark. The camera easily and quietly rotates by using the buttons on the monitor. It actually has a little more mobility than the Infant Optics.
Cons: The screen is too bright at night. I have dimmed it down as much as possible but it’s still super bright. The screen can turn off so it’s just sound that comes out, but I like to be able to glance over to see my baby on the camera without fidgeting with it to see her in the middle of the night. I bought a static cling on light dimming screen sheet from amazon to put over the monitor and now it’s perfect. I can see my baby on the screen just fine and also sleep when the monitor is on. One other con, to turn the volume up and down you have to go into the menu screen instead of having the buttons readily available on the monitor. Not a huge fault, but it can be a nuisance.
I woke up at 2am back in early March 2019, and couldn’t see my baby on the monitor.
I panicked. And then calmed myself down and told myself not to panic until I checked things out. I walked across the house, up the long flight of stairs and down the hallway holding my breath. First time moms have all the best panic attacks. Did he get out of his crib and hurt himself? Did someone come in and take him??
Nope, he had just rolled into the corner of the crib, out of view of my old camera. Butthead.
I knew right then and there I needed a movable camera. So instead of going back to bed, I went into the office, opened up Amazon on my computer – and still couldn’t find a camera with solidly decent reviews. But a friend of mine suggested this camera (a fellow first time mom who was ALSO up at 2:30am) and I thought I would give it a shot.
I have not regretted it once since I purchased it on March 3rd. It does a complete view around the room, up/down, side to side. I can make sure the windows are shut, or that the chair was put back, or that the trash can was emptied, then go right back to staring at my peaceful kiddo in his crib.
I had one small issue with the charging cord, a manufacturing defect (which happens with electronics from time to time, no big deal) but the seller sent me a new cord in 2 days flat. Excellent customer service; I am looking to purchase the additional camera when it is available. Thanks again!
