Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAt launch this game was terrible, but now it is actually fun to play. They still need to bring server browser’s back and the ability to see and swap squads. Also the game duration sometimes feel too short, they need to tweak something with the ticket count…but for the price the game is now it’s good value.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our Usersi personally cant play the game very well , there are people that spend every second of there day on this game and are extremely good( or cheating) so its kind of boring to me running to the fight for 2 mins and then dieing streight away… the game itselfe is good, not as many bugs as the reviews make out to be but its updated reguarly so id expect so , if your a good gamer on large scale shooter games id say this is 100% worth the asking price , if you get bored really easy because people are WAY too good then id choose something diffre

I know this has had loads of bad reviews and people dislike it.
I brought this on a warehouse deal and for 16 this game is definitely worth more.
Personally I’ve not found too many bugs, the only major bug I found is sometimes it lands you in a map and you’re playing on your own and no one else is joined in.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have been on the fence since the release day of this game as I had heard alot of bad press about it…. but, I bought the game due to the cheap price and thought I would give it a go.

I am GLAD I did, this game is awesome! The battles are absolutely huge and feel like they go on for hours, it’s great! I mean yeah it’s not without its flaws, but can you tell me one game that hasn’t got its fair share of glitches?

If you are curious and want to give it a try then I URGE you to do so, you won’t regret it.

Great game but still needs quite a bit of work as there are some faults in game.

Apparently a must have for PlayStation owners. For me at Christmas, these gifts are very expensive. But they’re sent out quickly and well packaged and always well received

I’ve already spent quite a few hours playing this. It looks beautiful. At the time of writing this review (Feb 2022) the game seems to crash every time on the first play. I’ve worked out that if you close the game rather than turn the PS5 off and leave the game in the background it doesn’t crash.

good points; Amazing maps, good weapons, looks beautiful, access to some older BF maps through Portal.
Bad points, crashes, Not a fan of ‘Operators’ personally, No official Hardcore servers.

But overall I can recommend this game.

So I have been playing battlefield 2042 since release day and I have to say I’m enjoying it and I’m not to sure why it’s getting such poor reviews. Yes there is no campaign and the load out screen is complicated at first but once you’ve sat down and played for a while it becomes normal. The game itself is fun to play and if you do buy it give it a chance and you will enjoy it too. I’ve played all the previous battlefields and this is as enjoyable as them you just need to stick with it and give it a chance without giving up on it straight away which some people obviously have.

Ok, this isn’t as good as battlefield bad company 2, battlefield 3 and battlefield 4, all of which were set in modern times. But this is a good game and deserves better from the reviewers than 1 star. Yes there are a few things missing from the game that we had in previous games, such as leaderboards, stationary weapons, boats, spectator re spawn and so on, but it’s still a joy to play and I love it. Hopefully dice add more to it over time and it can become as good as battlefield 4 was. If battlefield 4 had just
Been released it would be the ultimate game, as it had it all. This game is five stars even if it isn’t as good as previous versions.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFirstly, I didn’t get this game with pre access. I got it day one. There’s plenty of ways to grind the guns and level them up quickly so that you can compete. Drop into a solo game or two and you can easily unlock all attachments within an hour max. Secondly, the mechanics/gun play of this game are really high end, yes the maps (albeit visually stunning) probably need more cover in areas and better flow, but it’s not even season 1 yet! All 3 patch updates so far have massively improved the game. Yes there’s a few bugs about but I’m confident they’ll be fixed by the end of Jan 2022. If Season 1 drops with a new map or 2, new guns, cosmetics and game modes then I’ll be very happy. I like the specialists. Alot of people seem to want the traditional classes back (assault, support, medic, sniper) but I don’t. By the time of BF5, classes were getting boring. Specialists let you build your own niche class. You could be Sundance, wingsuit to the back of the objective and place down a spawn beacon. You could be Mackay and grapple up for height advantage with your sniper. You could be Falk, running around like a mad medic, but have a nice SMG set up for the frontline action. Let’s remember, battlefield has had to adapt and evolve to the new age of gaming. Unfortunately, gamers need to adapt otherwise it will get left behind in the dust. With a rumoured BR for late 2022 and the fact Season 1 hasn’t even started yet, I’d buy this game, perservere with it and you’ll end up with a brilliant game going into next year. I haven’t even mentioned Portal which opens up so much variety to play all the classic modes on all the old remastered maps, as well as new modes and classics such as TDM, Gun Game, free for all, Gun Fight etc etc. Remember, Its like any FPS, You need to put the hours in to get good. Don’t play it for a day and say it’s not for me, wait it out. Remember, it’s not run and shoot like the main rival. Think about your movements, where the enemy is, get used to the map layout, play the objective, push when needed, hold back when needed. It’s futuristic Battlefield. Squad up + have fun!

This game deserves so much more credit than it gets and is one of the best battlefields in a long time. The ability to go back to the old games maps makes this an incredible experience.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI’m not sure why there are so many band wagon jumping, cry hards, I got the game 2 days ago and its a great game, nice big maps, plenty of ways to play the game and no FPS drop or lag so far, ye sure it has a few bugs, but not as many as people make out(may be I just got lucky).

The game is great fun overall. Stunning graphics on next gen consoles. Admittedky there are some performance issues at launch with the servers but these have massively improved with the constant patches since launch.

The portal mode is absolutely fantastic bringing in maps and weapons from previous battlefield games.

Overall I’ve had fantastic fun playing this game since launch. And its one of those games that will only get better through future updates and more content.

Another great Battlefield game. The only downfall is there is no campaign. We have Portal which we can create different types of games with maps from some of the Battlefield games. Needs more updates due to bugs like hit markers not connecting properly

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersUsually I’m the first to complain but to be honest I’m having a good fun time with this game.

It just needs a few months of updates and tweaks.

Apart from the lack of a score board, this feels very much like BF4. Had a few good matches, just need to find my rhythm.
