My mixer came boxed very well. So far, it has been quite robust and as long as you know what you are doing with mixers it is relatively straight forward to use.
I cannot give this 5 stars as there are a lot of FX which of which there are probably too many to use and it would take a long time to work out what does what to the sound. The channel sliders could be more linear on the amplitude increase and I have heard reports that the crossfaders are made of glass. That said, as long as you are not scratching and just wanting to put a good mix together then this is the closest you are going to get to a Pioneer DJM-800 for a quarter of the price.
Nice build quality, faders too easy to knock, a little light ,only tested on headphones to compare bpm syn to
the djm 3000 overall a decent mixer & gets the job done bpm assist works ok but only use as reference
great value. ideal for anyone who needs a mixer. i was prepared to be disappointed because it was only 100 and i wasnt really expecting much but after testing it last night im impressed. a great option if you want to mix and cant afford a premium mixer. get this and you can save up and eventually get a really good one if you want to.
Good price, quality faders & lots of RCA inputs which saved me buying new leads. Nice bit of kit.
So after a long time searching for a element nice for my Gemini Pro series, I found this beringer and I’m glad i does, so as an old school dj who has been playing since 93 it was difficult to find something that was no frills and gave me the ability to mix on my 1210’s without all the rubbish of today’s djs, whilst that stuff has its place its not what I call talented in the same ways that I grew up with,
This mixer took me literally 10 minutes to install, the hardest bit was undoing the ground knut which I had to use pliers for.
The sound quality is second to none and the filters particularly the kill switches do the job they were designed to do.
There’s lots of features that I will need to try out but overall first impressions are very good, as I say for a proper old school dj this kit is perfect, I’m not convinced it will do all you want in the new, sample, loop, fx world but hey, that means it’s time to learn how to dj properly and this kit is perfect to do that with.
Getting the puppy out of the box, doing the default ‘I do not need instructions’ then wondering why it’s taking an age to sus out! 😀
There are plenty of rich features on this mixer and this is a super product for anyone looking for that slight upgrade on a mixer.
I’ve recently got back into DJing and was looking for a cheap mixer that will just work with no bells or whistles.
This is it.
There is no led for pfl monitoring so levelling mixes is a tad fiddly. Cuts are -12db so just about good enough.
Mini xfader for in ear mix is ok but I would have preferred a knob.
Balanced TRS outputs are a nice plus.
Build quality is ok, quite sturdy.
Basically had everything you need to get started but I’ll be looking to upgrade quite soo
This mixer was for my son and his feedback indicates he is very very happy.
Bought this to replace an old Kam mixer from the 90’s and it hasn’t disappointed.
Chock full of features and inputs, with separate kill switches and gain for channels and cueing.
The FX feature is also easy to use and can add an extra level of depth to a mix. You can also change the curve of the cross fade from a smooth to sharp transition to suit your current style.
Easy to hook up too and fits nicely between the decks.
A bargain considering the level of features.
Highly recommended.
If its it is ex display or used its like new and i love it so far. For some one who hassent used this kind of mixer before i think it could be complicated! But all seems to work the way it was intended. just a little scratch on paint but great.
For the money great bit of kit. As a beginner this is really easy to use. Would recommend.
Remember Maplins? I bought one of these there years ago for 150. I saw them go for just 100 elsewhere a couple of years after that. So why they are on here for nearly 200 in 2021 is beyond me.
.
Don’t get me wrong, i love this mixer. I use it every time i boot up my studio (which is most days) and it is still going strong to this day. I might have bought more hardware and other mixers since, but this is still in there somewhere, doing it’s thing. There may be a little problem with one channel now, but that’s after years and years of hardcore use. A lot of DJ and producer mates made fun of me buying this, but i love it.
.
I just don’t think any of you should pay this much for it. Shop around, you’ll probably get one off e-Bay for nearer 50 – 75 at most.
Perfect for radio. This broadcast oriented mixer is the only one in my knowledge that had proper broadcast appeal for such a low price.
This thing offers proper and unique broadcast ergonomics you won’t find in any Club mixer at any price. The talk over function works wonders and the 5 audio channels offers the perfect amount to do as you please with input sources.
Reslly love the track start buttons normally only found on 1000+ on air boards.
As a mixer it is a fantastic unit, all the nob’s work, faders are decent quality, the sound is great and all the little features are awesome, until you come to the fx. Now it’s supposed to have a built in multi wave fx processor but it seems that every selection is just white noise and the level doesn’t do much of much either. So it’s either just this unit or the whole line. I’m not going to let that spoil it though since for the money it’s what you expect and if you only want it for the 4 channel mixer, mic imput, mid, low, high dials and 3 stage cuts then this is a solid unit and while it has an internal fx issue it still has an fx in/out on the back for an external unit.
I do want to upgrade from this mixer as it isn’t what I desire from a mixer personally, BUT all that aside it is a brilliant little mixer looks tidy does what it needs to. With the PFL Master button it helps you to keep a close eye on how much sound you’re pumping out to your master before it goes out anywhere which is always ideal to keep the quality! X-Fader and switches are brilliant for smooth transitions and scratching (obviously not top quality, but still very good) its a mixer anybody could be happy to buy as a quick way to get their fix of music! The Quality of the vinyl rips I did with this mixer was all so completely flawless I played it in wav format (as always) and it sounded accurate there wasn’t a single flaw for this mixer for me. There was a few cool other features such as fader range controls for the X-Fader as well as range switches for even the channels! At its price brand new and boxed its a steal!
I always use this product it’s the best on the market for me. Easy to use
Easy to use only fault is that there’s no extra information about the FX select/paramete
I did some research on mixers as I had mine for nearly 20 years so I thought lets see what’s out there without spending a crazy amount. I found this mixer & read the reviews which was very helpful. The ease of setting it up & using it has been great. I’ve definitely noticed in the quality of mixing & having the options available on it is good.
Highly recommend this mixer!
Its a nice little bit of equipment,. I had the 700 , and if you thinking 1st time mixer this is a very good sta
Excellent mixer. Bpm counter is sometimes erratic but they mixer is great. The crossfader is very smooth and the rotary kills are Google. Output is great slight hum from the mixer but is a great value for money mixer and seems pretty solid.
Really happy with the products good price Lovely sound Recommend it to anyone
Brilliant delivery, turned up early. Great bit of kit, fixed my mixer now. Very happy bunny
i got this mixer its great iam very happy with it great sound .
his is great as a 1st mixer if your starting out. The sound quality could be better as does distort a little when played over a certain level, but that can be overcome by adjusting outside amp levels. sound effects are adequate but not brilliant. Cross fader has a very flimsy feel to it but once gotten used to doe the job. All fashing, all twiddly bits are there. I actually like using mine now I’ve got used to its flimsiness. Instruction manuel could be a whole lot more informative, but then again have fun finding out what button does what. 9/10
Take it!… The only problem I got so far is channel 3 is having some glitch on the sound, betting its just bad connection.
