Replaced my home sockets with these, saves having to having to buy usb charges and they are in every room, no more looking for a charger.
Price vs value is very good. They are a good quality sockets. This was my second order and will get more for the rest of the rooms in the house. Love them.
Had new LED downlight fitted throughout the house, but even when set to the lowest dimmer setting they were still bright in the evenings.
This dimmer has an adjustable level for the lowest point so I could adjust it until the light was at the right level then fit it back to the wall. It only customises the low point so when the dimmer is turned up full then the lights are at their normal level.
Great product and I would say a must for anyone with dimmable LED lights.

This product was so much cheaper than the rest but also a very good product which im very happy with and would defo recommend.
Very nice sockets and attractive, they look beautiful against my white walls.(just tighten both earth screws securely whether you use both or not). This will illiminate the risk of the earth bar becoming dislodged in the future when a plug’s earth pin snags when pushing it in the socket.

This is a lovely plug, well made and super easy to install.
the only thing i would note, is that ther USB ports means that they dont support fast charge like you get with mobiles and such.
but otherwise very good!

Quick & easy to fit. I replaced the white plastic unused phone socket with this blank plate and it looks a lot better. Took about 5 minutes to replace, comes with the 2 decorative screw fixings.

used this and a back box to make my own extension sock for my daughters room, it was very easy to wire, all the terminals are clealy labelled and have the wire colour you should use making it very hard to wire it wrong

Its odd for a mains socket to be described as ‘beautiful’ but this really is. I’ve installed it in my caravan and with four usbs and two gangs it effectively serves 6 devices. And it really does look incredible! Its also very well made indeed and big thanks to BG for giving a template to use when cutting out the fitting hole.
Great product – easy to fit terminals. They do seem a bit deeper than normal so if you have a shallow box behind your socket you may struggle. Mine was 35mm as just about worked.
These switches have a large controller behind the plate which required the removal of the unused top/bottom screw tangs on the backbox. Work well when coupled with quality LED lamps.

We love these as they just look classy and colour suits darker rooms so much. Just be careful when you’re installing them as they’re easy to scratch with screwdriver and screws etc… Would highly recommend them though!

We had to rewire our house so I bought a selection of different light switches from this company. They are good value for money, look great and have all been working without a fault since beginning of June. Neither is making a buzzing noise – in fact we had a problem with a dimmable light fixture, but not the switch! (After exchanging the chandelier for a new one buzzing stopped).

The black nickel is like a darker tinted chrome. I had no problems fitting this in a 25mm metal pattress box. It seems reasonable quality and hopefully it will stand the test of time.

These are my favourite metallic socket to fit they look amazing and have a plastic spacer between the metal front and the back that touches the wall so if you accidentally scrape it against the wall when trying to get the 3.5mm socket screws in it doesn’t gouge the wall out and cause repairs for the clie

I recently decorated and needed some reasonably priced sockets and switches. We ended up buying all of them as part of this range and they have been great. Had them a few months now and no complaints. They look stylish and are easy to fit when replacing old plastic ones. Very well priced for the effect they give in your rooms.

Great product, for price and quality of the metal is good. Very easy to put on. Replacing dimmer that was 13 years old. There is a small buzzing sound when lights are on full; But nothing major to cause concern. Overall does the job! Thanks amazon warehouse for quality product .
Awesome British Standard Rated Double mains socket with 2 x USB fast Charging ports.
Each mains socket comes with its own Switch, though the switches don’t control the USB ports and this is normal anyway.
Really happy with this purchase and once the pandemic stops sapping my funds, I’m hoping to buy Two their BG Electrical NBN81P-01 Single Dimmer Light Switch, Black Nickel, 2-Way, 400 Watts (B00H2EOEBS), one of my bedroom and the other for the Livingroom, as the led lights flicker with the old standard dimmer switches.

Great product for a kitchen re vamp replace old white plastic switches. Did come up a couple mm smaller than my previous ones so there was a minor element of making good to the walls. Very easy to install. Always take a photo of the old socket and how it wired if in doubt.
These are just as easy to fit as an ordinary socket but thanks to the USB ports practically double the amount of electrical items you can power from it.
These look smarter than the standard white sockets and whilst they are a little more expensive than the white plastic version they do look better, giving our room a more polished, luxury look.
It’s was difficult to fit as the screws that came with it were too short for the case it was being screwed into. Had to by buy a box. Once managed to fit it it works.
Very handy if you are fed up of swapping your plugs out for phone chargers etc.
Easy to connect – I did have to watch a YouTube video but this is only because I had never touched electrics before.
I’ve now got two or these set up in my house and they’re just ideal for charging your devices without the need of keep unplugging different plugs all the time.
I bought this switch recently to replace an older one which had failed. That was unbranded and had been fitted to the house when I bought it, and I’d like to think that this one from an established brand will be better. It feels well-made and is nicely designed with the screws accessible on the back, and I like that they can be firmly tightened without fear of the metal shearing. The switch looks great too and apart from some greasy marks when I first installed it I’m impressed that the polished chrome finish has stayed clean ever since, without the problem of showing fingerprints on the shiny surface. I’d have no qualms in buying another of these switches – recommended.
I have a weatherproof external socket
(Not from BG electrical) which had a normal plastic face plate. For some reason this cracked and showed signs of overheating. I contacted BG and asked them which of their products they would recommend to fix the situation and this was it. The face plate is metal and so won’t crack but more importantly will disperse the heat. It was very easy to fit. The service and quality from the manufacturer (BG) is excellent. Worth paying a bit more for a safe well made product, which this is.
Peace of mind.
