Been playing the game today for the first time, picked it up on playstation, works well on PS5, overall I think the game is great, paid 12.79 for the disc version brand new from Amazon, put in seven hours over a couple of sessions… First couple of hours were a bit of a chore, but once you get into the open world part, then the game really starts to shine.
I went in with low expectations, but currently very pleased with the purchase…. Definitely set the talking down to 5 percent on both options to limit the constant narrator and the characters jibber-ish….. IMHO, if you can buy it cheap… Then definitely consider giving the game ago

The game is good but the seller advertised as new and when it arrived the case was scratched and smeared with something brown. The disc had thumb prints and scratches too. Ultimately it worked and was cheap so can’t complain too much.
Bought this for my son for Christmas alongside other PS4 games. This is as one he didn’t ask for and he has played it the most. He said it is a very enjoyable platform game.
Well… its like all the things in a kitchen you should not mix together in a stew pot, yet it seems to work…
So, if you have ever played another thq nordic game called “Elex” picture that, now imagine the Elex world populated with nintendo’s Animal crossing characters, then add in a somewhat “Enter the dragon” style plot line and combat style. It sounds strange, i know, but if you like action rpgs give it a fair shake.
The only thing i don’t like about it so far, the in game narrator, he sounds a lil bit condescending.
I would give it a 4.5, but sadly no half star rating.
Best offline RPG I’ve played in a while, loads of settings, creating a character is great, fast paced combat which might be hard for little kids, but just a learning curve really. The case was very broken but no damage to the disk… I guess, Always order games with other items, for a bigger box/more protection!!
It has flaws but its a great game, 20 people made this and it puts AAA devs to shame, its a fun game.

Innovativo, divertente, ricco di attivit da svolgere tra personalizzazione armi,personaggio, secondarie ed esplorazione, ha sicuramente qualche pecca a livello tecnico/grafico ma se non si vuole essere troppo pignoli si riesce a chiudere un occhio.

The game its self is great. Not quite AAA but it has a lot of polish and it’s basically AA and 3 quarters A. For a studio that has 20 employees thats pretty damn great. Gameplay is responsive, fun and addictive. Huge open world map very diverse and pretty and the combat is very satisfying. All around great game, minimal bugs aswell, the only bugs I ever got were non intrusive and almost essentially not even a thing. The odd little glitch or frame rate drop. Very minimal bugs, very good gameplay. The only downside is the story is very bare bones but there’s so many side quests that are actuslly fun it’s more about the satisfying combat and exploration than story. I’ve always been a big ratchet and clank fan and I do like a good platformer.
This seems to be trying to be many things all at once,platformer, puzzler,open world explorer and combat game with rpg elements thrown into the mix too.
For the most part it does everything adequately but I have to agree with people who say that the narrator starts to grate after a while(luckily you can turn him off).
That’s not to say the narration is totally awful,I think it just becomes a little infantile at times(just my personal take).
Overall I really enjoyed my time with this game. The open world area is diverse and generally interesting. I found the ‘can’t swim’ mechanic to be a bit of a bizarre and sometimes frustrating choice and it does take a while(or at least it did for me) to get your gear to a level whereby you can explore the more hazardous areas.
It would also be nice to be able to customise your appearance to whatever look without it affecting your stats(again a personal preference but one I liked in games such as Assassins Creed Odyssey).
I think you’ll either love this or hate it dependant on how you like your games paced. If you want constant action there may not be enough here for you as there’s a lot of travelling about to be done.
If you like big open world games with lots of diverse elements that are in general pretty well executed you’ll probably have a blast.
The graphics by and large are quite good and the world is by and large pleasant to explore and wander round.
You also get access to various forms of transport throughout the game which have to be upgraded to allow top performance from them.
There are multiple difficulty settings so if you don’t want dark souls masochism you won’t find yourself beating your head against the nearest wall or throwing your controller around the room in frustration.
Overall it’s a really good game in my opinion, by no means perfect but I think a sequel would be well deserved. If you like open worlds it’s a lot better than quite a few others I’ve played. I’d recommend giving it a go.(-:

C’est un bon jeu. Il y eu beaucoup de critique sur ce jeu, mais pour un petit studio et une quipe rduite, je trouve qu’il ont fait du bon travail.
This is one of those games that seems to have garnered a “Marmite” reception- you seem to either love it or hate it. Being very much new to the open-world action RPG, I bought this game half expecting to lose interest halfway through. However, after putting hours into it, I can safely say that I love this game! It’s flawed for sure, but there’s a lot to enjoy if you persevere through the initial tutorial.
I should point out that as of the date of this review, many gripes and bugs that people were experiencing with this game have been patched out- the tutorial is quicker and smoother, bugs have been removed and the narrator can be toggled on and off. There have also been multiple Quality aOf Life improvements.
There’s really not much to the story- you play as a furry little mutant who has returned to your homeland to face your past demons, while also putting and end to the tribe war and saving the Tree of Life, which is dying due to the pollution left behind by the past corporation Toxanol (think of BnL from Wall-E), as well as 4 “World-Eaters” that are eating the roots.
There is a Karma system present throughout the game, letting you choose between Light and Dark, which is also affected by which Tribe you choose to align yourself with in the Tribe War. However, the missions you do will be the same regardless of which path you take- the only difference really is the ending, which even then is minimal.
Dialogue in the game is all handled by the aforementioned Narrator. Rather than characters having their own dialogue, they speak gibberish and the rather British narrator will give you a gist translation like an interpreter rather than a direct translation (think of it is this vein- CHARACTER *gibberish*, NARRATOR- “he says he’s happy to see you again”). Additionally, the narrator narrates much of what you can do in the game. I personally find him quite endearing at at times funny, but I can completely understand why others find him annoying and there is an option to tone him down or remove him. The only exceptions are the 2 sides of your conscience- Light & Dark, who have their own voice actors and dialogue, and the banter between these 2 is funny and charming to listen to.
Combat is a big feature in this game- you have a range of fighting styles to choose from, but from my experience, you tend to quickly find one that suits you, so Combat does have the potential to become repetitive unless you switch it up and experiment with new styles.
Crafting is another major feature. You will find parts for weapons and different pieces of clothing EVERYWHERE. Weapons can be customised with these parts, or you can build one completely from scratch with what you’ve found (want to fight with a toilet brush with a banana handle? Now’s your chance!) This is a lot of fun to experiment with, though I found a really good weapon later in the game that I just preferred to use over what could be crafted.
There is a lot to do in this game. You can easily follow the Main missions, or to get the most out of the game, complete the many side missions. I recommend you do these as you can find some really good rewards like various vehicles, weapons and creatures that will help you a lot. The side missions are my favourite and I can spend literal hours at a time finding a coveting these.
Music is very nice in the game and sets the tone well. My favourite is when you’re just exploring the land and hills, it’s a really peaceful tune.
All in all, this game really isn’t as deep as similar games and if you’re looking for a complex story and challenging gameplay, you won’t really find it here. You will find, however, a fun game to explore and spend many hours. If you’re on the fence about this game, maybe wait for a sale.
Despite its flaws, however, I cannot bring myself to give it less than 5 stars, especially now so many of its issues have been adressed and patched. If a game compels me to play for hours at a time and still enjoy it all that time later, I say it’s done what it set out to do and personally makes it worth the money I spent on it. It’s a game oozing with charm that deserves checking out.

A cross of assassins creed, breath of the wild and ratchet&clank. 5 hours in. So much fun 10/10

Lots of fun customisation. Great to play with the kid. It gets a bit cut and paste with the graphics because it’s such a large world with such a small dev team. Worth a buy.
Bon jeu mais au vu des graphismes ilne vaut pas plus de 30 Euros, ce qui aurait t honnte pour son lancement.
The game its self is good but in my opinion there is just way too much pointless chat between in game characters and it’s a made up language with a crap narrator doing the translation would be so much better if the characters just spoke in an understandable way without the need for a narrato
The graphics don’t look perfect and indeed there is an irritating way of presenting the dialogues and storyline, but apart from these two snags, it’s a really entertaining title. The world looks pretty, the music is brilliant, combat and combos are very enjoyable.
