So glad i bought these its kept the pigeons off my fence
Wasn’t really sure if these would work and what they would look like. They look discreet on the fence from a distance and much softer than the plastic ones. I bought the assembled version. Easy to fit. OMG NO pigeons since. The muck was daily and horrendous and awful to clean. I am muck free I see the pigeons on the roofs and fences of others. Result! Very cost effective.

I have combined the spikes with Solar panel protective mesh to keep the pigeons from near my sky lights. Perfect. I just attached them to the mesh with wire ties.
Easy to install and have been very effective at keeping off the pigeons from he top beam of my child’s swing and slide frame.
These were installed as it was becoming a joke at how much bird poop was covering the swings.
The pigeons stayed away from our roof once we installed this, however only from the areas covered by these spikes. If you leave a small gap somewhere, one or two pesky pigeons squeeze into that gap. We had to re-adjust the position of the spikes to make sure they covered all areas we wanted. Don’t think they stick to the roof tiles well, so we had screw the spikes onto wood and then use our own hinges, bolted to the side wall, to hold the spikes in place.
Relatively easy to fix on to a wooden pergola using large head clout nails for fixing roof felt. The heads of screws or ordinary nails would have been too small for the large slots provided. Very difficult to shorten the length of the pieces using hacksaw. If used straight out of the box as most would be these are great for keeping pigeons off structures. It would be easier to use a silicone adhesive but I didn’t have any at the time of fixing, hence the clout nails.
A great product. I was plagued by feral pigeons and desperate to keep them from ruining the storage area of my business. I put these where they perched and immediately noticed a drop off in their numbers. Along with other measures I am still battling with them but making progress
I used around edges of solar panels to stop both perching and pooing on panel but also nesting underneath.
Easy to fit with recommended silicon glue. No need to use screws in most locations. Maybe just for old or rough wood.
Easy to assemble but quite time consuming. At least an hour per pack. Make sure to do lengthways wires first

I feel sorry for the pidgeons now but they have had their fun on our pv panels.
No exactly great to look at but they’re the only thing that has actually stopped the neighbour’s cats crapping everywhere.

I have those on summer house roof. I do not see cats or foxes anymore on the roof but squirrels don’t give a damn about them.
Great to assemble but a pain to affix to concrete,ie wall,good for fencing though and now they are fixed we have NO CATS IN OUR GARDEN!! WHOOPEE

Once I installed them the pigeons really have had a rethink about coming to my balcony.
Bought the ready assembled version. Only used half of the qty of spiked strips in a staggered formation to deter pigeons from crapping on our swing seat. We’ve had our seat for several years but the poo this year has been of biblical proportions. Hope this works. Easy to fit with the right size screws. We also get a lot of crows and jackdaws but the guilty poo was definitely pigeon.
I bought these as a cheap option to trail and have been pleased by the easy to assemble and mount. The base appears a little flimsy but is good enough. They can be assembled in different ways using more or fewer spikes and the spikes can be trimmed to give effective coverage to ward off big pigeons with reduced visual impact. No more pigeon much on my paths or patio 🙂
They work well but when installing mine I pushed the base with my thumb to rearrange it and it to cut me deep instantly. The edges of the based are razor sharp.
These are Great and have kept the pigeons off my fence .

The pigeons now line up on the fence and make their deposits on the other side of the fence. It was worth the money just to see one pigeon confidently coming in to land, only to discover at the last minute that landing would not end well for it!!!
Work really well thankfully I love them because pigeons hate them no more piles of droppings on my fence and patio. I bought another 3packs to do the rest of the fence.
For fixing ontop of greenhouse had to drill holes in metal upright ridge on roof of greenhouse and tie on with cable ties. Worth the trouble as thankfully works. My friendly woodpigeons no longer perch there.

Absolutely brilliant. Easy to put together – you have to feed the spikes through the holes in the metal strip and they clip securely into place. I secured them with screws to my pergola and the decking is now pigeon poo free. They were easy to install and easy to snip to size, where needed, to fit on top of the posts around the pergola. I’m so pleased with this purchase and would highly recommend this product.

Bought these spikes to deter the damn pigeons which are ruining my fences and patio. I can only say they’ve certainly done the trick yippee!! The pigeons fly over and don’t attempt to even try and perch. They’re easy to put together and I used a long handled gimlet first of all to make a starter hole in the top of the fence before I then screwed in the screws manually. I first of all tried an electric screw driver but it wouldn’t fit down between the spikes, manually is better. I used screws no longer than 1.9 cm roughly 3/4 of an inch.
Easy to install and assemble spikes, very robust and metal base is thin enough to bend it desired shape if needed or if too long, can’t be easily cut too with scissors. No screws or adhesive pads included.
Dislikes. Time it took to install the spikes into the mounting plate. Bit pricey

This product was delivered by my postman the very next day after ordering. Came well packaged and with spikes already attached. I put mine on my balcony with ties, which was very easy to do. Well attached and should last years. Doing their job well. Hence the 5 stars.
I purchased these to keep the pigeons off my fence as the mess they cause was ruining my garden furniture and plants. I had already tried the plastic spikes but these did not work. So far so good, let’s hope this continues. I fitted mine with nails rather than adhesive
Daunting on opening box and seeing separate pieces, but even a child can assemble. Spring spikes on fitting, so watch your eyes. On fitting, not a pigeon in sight, new seating area free from any bird waste. Really great investment.
My back garden, or cat toilet as it has become, has been accessed by cats scrambling over the 6′ high timber gate and adjoining rendered wall. Since the bird spikes were installed over two weeks ago no cat has breached the barrier. Success!

These are a bit pricey but certainly worth every penny. My path and fence are not free of bird faeces for the first time in years.
Purchased to stop pidgeons peching on pergola and messing on seating on decking area. Working well and stopped the problem. Easily installed using small screws into wood. Assembly was simple but time consuming (5 packs). Silver colour is unobtrusive and should weather well and product appears to be very durable.
Bought these in October 2020 having previously installed spikes with a plastic base which disintegrated after a year in the sun. These are well made and being all stainless steel they have so far lasted extremely well in all weathers. The number and angle of spikes on each strip makes it impossible for birds to land or perch on them.
These were easy to put together and install and I used stainless screws so these should last a lifetime hopefully.
Highly recommended and well worth the price.

Good product, a little fiddly to put together but oddly enough quite theraputic ;/ Definitely sharp, they were placed on my chair as a prank (after I had spent a while making them all up) and I obliviously sat down on them!! My point is they are sharp (^_^) and should definitely do the trick when deterring birds :))
Very easy to assemble and install with a couple of screws onto the top of fencing. Had a big problem with pigeons landing on fence and crapping everywhere, not any more. Perfect.
Unassembled the units are packaged in a neat box. Really easy and quite quick to push the spikes through the base and once done provide a robust barrier. Didn’t want to screw these to a wooden fence panel so used clear silicone. The spikes stay in position easily until it’s fully set and then seem very secure. My wooden fence panels are treated with a clear preservative so have silvered naturally with age. This means that these spikes are relatively inobtrusive, especially when viewed end on (might not be so good on a darker fence). Finally and most importantly the neighbouring cat can no longer do its tightrope walk along the top to get access to the garden.
I bought the spikes to give to my neighbour as our doves where going in their covered seating area.
At the moment it seems to have stopped them so fingers crossed it carries on.

I bought these then noticed I’d bought the unassembled ones, not realising the difference. It hasn’t been a problem at all. They are easy to assemble so it just takes a little while. They seem very well made and I hope they’ll do the job in the middle of a large tree to discourage pigeons. Time will tell!

Had a fox problem lately and the little fella can jump 180cm. Just assembled these on top of my fences to be able to stop it, let’s see what happens. Will be giving my next feedback within shortly.
I purchased these in kit form as I needed to bend the spikes on one side, so I could fit on an apex shed roof. This worked perfectly and to date no more pigeon sxxx rotting the felt. Both base and spikes were stainless, so they will last for years. This product exceeded my expectations.
These work really well, much better than the plastic ones I had before. I think the highly shiny base also adds to the deterrent effect.
I bought 3 packs to install above my balcony. I would recommend getting the uninstalled version as that way you can ensure they done bend in transit. They need to be totally flush when installing to get a good hold. They are easy to install and much better than plastic. Would recommend 100%

Time consuming assembling spikes through base but worth effort. Looks a good deterrent to burglars and stainless steel will last. Excellent value. We screwed to top of wooden frame for our side entry gate but had difficulty fixing to our weather worn side wall. We used Evo Stik ‘Sticks Like Sht’ All Weather Adhesive ( real name) 290ml size. Highly recommend these Spikes.
Screwed the straight ones in and cable tied the angled one. My cat worked out how to get over the straight one so going to angle as well to try to stop him getting out. They were already assembled so no problem having to put together.
This did what it suppost to .very pleased with it .

Bought these to put on me tv aerial as the birds sitting on and crapping all over the place. My aerial looks like something out of transformers now but the birds no longer sit on the aerial. Had to order another box as neighbour wanted there’s done.

These are self assembly, to push the spikes through the holes in the metal strips. However, these are well designed and it was very straightforward to do.
I am using them on balcony railings to deter pigeons, and they seem fine and effective so far.
I used my own cable ties to secure them to the railings, hence my neutral 3 stars for adhesion. There were 4 holes per metal strip for the cable ties, which is very good.
I’m very happy with this purchase.
Needed these to deter cats in a clients planter boxes!! Look a bit harsh but hopefully will do the job without ‘damaging’ the cats!!
Went for the pre-built option as it saved time, but looked easy to assemble. Base bar is a little flimsy but when secured with the pre-drilled holes will be just fine.
