Patio Cleaner
Thanks to its dual high pressure rotary wash nozzle, this accessory can remove the most stubborn dirt from outdoor surfaces such as patios, verandas, balconies, steps, walls and pool edges in stone, wood or concrete. The plastic top cover protects the operator and the surrounding area from unwanted splashing.
Fixed Brush
With particularly effective soft bristles, this brush increases the high pressure washer’s cleaning capabilities. It is perfect for use on a wide range of surfaces, including garden furniture, glass, cars and vehicles.
Rotary Jet Wash Nozzle
For easy, quick cleaning of the toughest, most stubborn dirt, such as mould, moss or graffiti, from outdoor domestic surfaces.
Adjustable Jet Wash Nozzle
It allows the user to vary the strength of the water jet from cylindrical (most intensive washing) to fan (most delicate washing) as required. It is recommended for all domestic cleaning operations and for washing cars, motorbikes and garden material.

Handy for cleaning driveway, patio, and inside chicken-houses.
Not quite as high a pressure as previous one, but seems well adequate for these jobs.
I wish B&D would use standard size connections on all their hoses, instead of multiple different sizes, so tools could be used across both.
There was a problem with initial assembly, as it came with the wrong size rubber sealing ring on one end of the pressure hose ! B&D charge high price for spare rings, but fortunately I had one in my toolbox, so did not have to wait on delivery of special-sized costly spares. I think QC should have noticed, and possibly included a few spare O-rings in the packaging – they are little and cheap if you don’t have to order them direct.
Can’t fault this at all for the price. Powerful, effective and comes with all the attachments you’ll need for home pressure washing needs.

Manual has small pictograms instead of words, not easy to understand at first glance. Assembling handle etc is straightforward providing the screws are in the box..which they weren’t! Probably ok on new item but I bought Amazon used so beware, small self tappers may be required. Once assembled it’s a doddle to use and is nice and light to move around. All in all, pleased with it.

This is such a satisfying gadget to use that me and my husband were squabbling over who got to play with it! Easy to set up and use, it makes light work of cleaning a patio. The closer you hold it to the ground, the more dirt it removes and it does a brilliant job even without any detergent. Going to wash the cars next and get all the cobwebs off. Highly recommended.

Difficult to assemble as instructions were unclear. However, was assembled was easy to use. Very powerful and did an excellent job of cleaning my very dirty patio.
This is a very good product and an improvement over our previous washer (made by different company). It is well designed and relatively easy to move from place to place. It runs more quietly than the previous washer, and the spray head is easily adjusted. In practice, a five star product.
Very disappointing: the struggle we had putting it together because of inadequate instructions. Everything would be solved if there were a readily accessible video on the manufacturer’s website.
Was initially a bit fiddly setting up, but once you get going it’s a doddle. I was astonished how much dirt and grime came up on the stones, my dike was actually almost black before, it came up beautifully! The stone is revitalised.

This is really good quality.
Great pressure washer, easily assembled and simple to use. Admittedly I have only used it twice so far, once to clean patio and once to clean exterior of conservatory but both jobs were simply done with great results. Patio cleaning extension did a great job on the paving which hadn’t been cleaned for a couple of years and now looks like new despite being 15 years old. The variable wand did a superb job on the glass, brick and pvc frame of the conservatory, removing all dirt and even lingering bird “stains”. Can’t imagine what benefit would be gained from more expensive brands.
i compered this product with other brands. this washer is head and shoulders above others. black and decker have a great name.
I used this for my side and back garden that is fully monoblocked and it cleaned them up no bother,I used the rotary wand that also cleaned out all the weeds growing thru,I have had a few washers before and this is one of the best I am thinking of buying another one to keep at my carava

Great item, instruction diagrams could be a little clearer, but once worked out the item is easy to use with great results.
This item was actually quite difficult to assemble but was not helped by the VERY poor assembly instructions provided by the manufacturer. I almost gave up to simply return the item. Despite this the washer performs very well compared to other washers of similar power and price.

I washed our balcony after a years. See the difference for yourself in the picture when it was halfway done! Both the dirt and algee spots are gone, left the tiles are as shiny as new!
A bit noisy so I left the machine inside the house with doors partially close, but the hose was long enough to wash everywhere in our 4x4m balcony without much disruption for our neighbouring flats.
I used a 50 feet extendable hose to attach to the mains.
The product was easy to assemble, easy to use and was surprised by the length of pipe from the unit to the gun!! Excellent product, would not hesitate to recommend.

It arrived quite quickly. Was easy to set up.
I was pleasantly surprised how powerful and functional it was. Done a great job on cleaning our cars. Also cleaned our pathed yard with no problems.

That said, I’m *hugely* impressed with it in use. This is a before and after photo of our patio – this was about 20 mins work with the normal spray gun attachment and no cleaning products. Very impressed and can’t wait to blast everything else in sight until it’s clean! Haha
Nice product, easy to set up, powerfull.
However, I have a major gripe. The duel gun feature looks great on the videos but this obviously reduces the gun pressure. I tried to attach one of the rotary nozzles from the dual fitment to fit directly on the gun as a single nozzle but they are a different fitment and won’t fit. Only option is to use the dual fitment together with the 2 rotary nozzles or to fit the adjustable spray nozzle instead. Why why why would they do this? It’s ridiculous. I can only use 2 rotary nozzles together or none at all. Why not make them all the same fitment????????????? I cannot think of a single constructive reason why it would be manufactured in this way. Sort it out.

Snow gun spray seriously disappointing, power can be little on short side, but for cost and expectation it not horrendous. It does a job of cheap pressure washer, has attachments to be okay for many things.
Pressure hose broken just in 2 use, I couldn’t find new pressure hose, it’s just useless now, money went down the drain.
Technically this product is as good as the Karcher k3 but it performs similarly to the k2 I owned before. For the price, you can’t argue. Perfect for your drive or patio as the spinning disc attachment will get off even the oldest moss or algae from your patio. It’s not super quick but it is super clean!

There’s a small amount of assembly and I couldn’t quite work out where the water went in from the instructions (the front lol) but once plumbed in and switched on it was good to go. The nozzle does the wide spray you need to get everything power sliced off and there’s somewhere to put soap.
I have a small garden and this would be great for someone with a car to wash and a patio that is shaded. You do need a garden hose with an ‘inny’ connection.
The product can not be used without purchasing additional parts.
Purchased for my husbands birthday,to replace a larger one that had stopped working.as it was smaller than his previous model,wasn`t sure it would be as powerful,needn`t have worried,it cleaned as well as the previous one.Has been used on the patio,did a great job,also used to clean the dustbin,again did a great job.As it`s not as big as our previous one it was easier for my husband to move it,all in all very pleased.would recomend this item

I trusted in the Black & Decker name, and wasn’t disappointed. Smaller than I had first thought, but it cetainly packs a punch. I’ve attached an image to this review as I was part way through my decking, decking that ashamedly I hadn’t touched in 4 years! Easy work though with the rotary lance.
Unit is not too heavy to move around, and the hose is long enough that you won’t need to be picking it up every other step anyway.
Description describes it for occasional use, however my decking took 2 hours, and I was using it constantly so it certainly is a work-horse unit.
Highly recommended.

In a nutshell a small, lightweight and effective jet wash, ideal for most homes and jobs you might have a need for a jet wash.
It comes with two spray heads, one for dealing with the muck and grime on your car being a wider less aggressive spray and a more directed jet for the hard to remove dirt on concrete and paving slabs.
In both modes it works very well.
Noise volume is not too bad for a jet wash and you won’t come away after cleaning your car deaf or having fallen out with your neighbours. A good plus point.
Of course one has to accept that this is a small jet wash for an average sized home, not an industrial unit for large areas and if you do have a substantial hard stand to deal with then getting a larger machine would save a lot of time.
Quality on the surface seems to be very good with high standards of plastics that appear to be well screwed together. All the fittings are decent and the feel of it belies the price.
There is of course a niggle and one which I always find on cheaper gear. The power cord. It’s short for a machine that’s going to be used outside where naturally you will need a long lead for anything useful. This means you will absolutely require an extension cable unless you have a socket right where you need it. And an extension cord means an easy water/electricity interface So you’ll need a waterproof enclosure for the extension as well which if you think about it means you have to add fifteen to twenty quid for the extras which might be the difference between this or another more expensive jet wash with a longer lead already attached.
Overall, a well made and effective light duty jet wash ideal for home use.

A great little jet washer which is really effective in spite of its small size. You don’t get more than the basic jet nozzle and soap dispenser with this kit, but that covers me for 90% of jobs. The only thing you might want to consider getting is a proper patio washer, which can prevent overspray from getting muck everywhere.
My one criticism is that the hose really is a little short, so you will find yourself carrying it around with you as you go – not so bad, as the unit is light and easy to carry – however, you will need to drag the power lead and hose along with you, which can be a bit of a pain.
Overall though, good value for money.
The assembly instructions were reasonably easy to follow, but could have been a little more detailed. The product worked well and cleaned the patio effectively. The detergent container doesn’t stay in its recess during use but it may just be for storage purposes. I haven’t used this on the car as yet but if it performance as well in this use, I’ll be more than pleased.
I am sure that you’ll find plenty of review telling you that Karcher is the best pressure washer brand and that anything else can’t live up to them, but the fact is that for the average home user, that level of tech just isn’t necessary. If you are like most people, and all you want to do is clean off your paving and blast the muck off your car, then this will more than do the job for you, and at a price point that is accessible for just about everyone. Just be aware that you will need both a hosepipe and possibly an extension cord, but the device itself is solid as a rock.
And you can even use it to write rude words in the dirt on your patio.

This is a great little machine, easy to use and just right for washing cars and the patio , just what you would expect from black+decker.
This power washer is very small and fits into a tiny box. This makes it great for taking places or transporting it to different houses (if you work as a cleaner). There are many parts and it fits together with a little time however there are many attachments which are suitable for different tasks.
There is an included spray bottle which is great for a general wetting and removing loose dirt. The power of the machine isn’t to industrial standards which is expected given the size and the price. Therefore it is very suitable for lifting dirt of driveways and walls aswell as the car and the garden. When cleaning cars and brittle gravel be careful of the pressure which may damage paint work and create holes in brickwork.
The sand in between paving is also at risk of being removed and if carrying out a deep clean of the drive way be sure to go over the treated area with sand to fill the gaps again.
Due to its small size it becomes easy to carry around whilst using and saves your back that much more!
The pressure washer was used to clean the decking at the end of my garden.
It was necessary to purchase a 20 metre 13amp extension lead to connect to power in my house but it now works perfectly and my decking has been cleaned.
I have a 300 pressure washer which I purchased maybe 3 years ago. Great item and I thought I’m never going to beat it unless I buy the same price one again. When this popped up on vine, I thought I’m going to give it a go. This is valued / retailed at less than 100. The thing is amazing, more powerful than my current one. I suppose you would have the buy the extras like broom / nozzle attachments separately if required but even at that still a bargain and some people don’t need the extra. Came in a nice compact box, little bit of assembly work but nothing major. Will come in really handy come autumn.
I was rather surprised at how small the box was for this tool but was still very keen to give it a go as the path outside the back of my house has been smothered in moss and lichen for quite some time and I knew it was the perfect test subject for a pressure washer.
Getting this set up for use outside was a bit of a chore. After assembly it becomes clear that a garden hose of at least 5 metres length is necessary to make it work, at extra expense. Luckily, I already have one stashed under the kitchen sink but this is quite a cheat to not include it with the package. One should expect to use this right out of the box after minimal assembly. Getting the hose and wires out of the bathroom window (where this was hooked to the mains) and then blasting the (frosty) moss off the path was a real clumsy chore, but it did a good job. It also made short work of cleaning out my utterly stinking wheelie bin, which I’m grateful for.
I’ve used Karcher pressure washers at work before, and that brand seems to work a lot better. Black + Decker may be heavyweights, but I’m not too keen on this washer, even if it did manage to sweep away all of the grot out back. I’m happy that it’s so small as I don’t have a lot of room in this place, but I wouldn’t quite recommend this for cleaning vehicles. Instead it’s a good tool for washing away cobwebs and filth, and it could feel a lot more high-powered for all the hassle of getting it prepped.

The instructions were awful. It was not until the weekend (Oct 5th) that I actually worked out how the
‘ nozels ‘worked. I had not spent much time on this as I was used to the ‘Karcher’ system and did not recognize the ‘flaps’ that are B &D’s way to alter the spray system. Having now done so It is the best pressure washer for the money that I have used. It was able to remove Rotten wood from some sleepers.

Firstly as others have noted don’t use this around children or animals for health and safety reasons. The jet of water coming out is very powerful, as you would expect it to be. I will say that I’ve used this three times and it’s done a great job on the patio. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, everything you need is here. Recomended.
I had never owned a pressure washer before so was excited when my wife presented it to me. What I wasn’t expecting was to almost need a science degree to put it together. I consulted the manual (which was in every language on earth which is handy if i spoke anything other than English lol). I always have a fear when my wife goes to Ikea, as I have to assemble whatever she buys, but for me she had given me a new toy that I almost had to build from scrap parts. Putting it together was the only negative to this product, and when you do, you get there a sense of male pride that it is finally done and that it didn’t beat you!
It advises not to use around children and animals. I would 100% agree, my daughter was desperate to help daddy wash his car but she is only 5 and quite small for her age. I would assume I could of turned the pressure washer into a jetpack for her if she had tried to help me so on this occasion so daddy went alone. I have used a pressure washer before so this wasn’t my first rodeo, but there is a boyish joy about seeing the dirt it manages to remove. My car was left very shiny and all of the attachments were a handy addition to the package. I was very chuffed and very wet after cleaning my car, thankfully it was on the one day where we had a little sun in between the snow storms. I was excited to see what else I could clean so off I trotted to the back garden and our decking and am pleased to say it has never looked cleaner. My wife often nagged me to clean the decking now I will do it weekly as its fun! Have even offered the neighbours help too!
Very easy to use (when its together) and very durable as well. It does what you would expect and I am on the lookout for more to clean. I asked my wife if we could use it to clean our two kids that are grubby at the best of times, but unfortunately she has said no. Instead I have used it to almost become like Boba Fett which has led to some very exciting times as I fight dirt.
I would recommend this product to anyone, it’s an excellent cleaner and quite possibly a child’s jetpack or a cos play kit for star wars 🙂
Very impressed with this pressure washer. Our patio usually gets a bit of a clear-out around this time of year, and it can be a big challenge using manual tools to clear out the accumulated grime, especially considering the result isn’t exactly gleaming.
The washer seems pretty intimidating at first. It has tonnes of attachments and the combo of high pressure water and electricity didn’t exactly fill me with comfort. However, the parts go together in an intuitive way (at least in my opinion) and in operation it’s as easy as point and shoot. We’re fortunate to have high pressure and no water-meter here.
The head is maneuverable enough to work on objects other than paving stones: moss covered pots, for instance, and I’m sure it’d also be useful for cleaning walls and vehicles. To be honest, now I have this, it’s tempting to clean everything I own with it…

There are no instructions as such, don’t be fooled by the giant manual, it’s every language under the sun as well as various different manifestations of the cleaner, and just diagrams — totally baffling to me. I counted 25 random items, spread around us on the floor. Why on earth can’t things be labelled, or numbered, or colour coded! At one point I thought we were assembling Darth Vadar. “What’s this?” I asked, and was told “It’s something you put something in.”
To be honest I found the most useful clues were on the outside of the box.
However an hour later (not really that bad I suppose) all was forgiven once it was pointed at the patio. It’s like using an etch-a-sketch, it cuts a swathe through all the surface grot and the algae between the slabs just vanished. The patio actually looks better than it did brand new. I used it and it’s incredibly satisfying. The larger circular head is ok, but obviously you can’t target as efficiently.
We used the outside tap and the electricity supply in the shed with an extension lead.
One down side, the spray. The patio doors were filthy, we were filthy. It was a case of everything off and straight into the washing machine. But really, it’s worth it to see those colours on the patio that I haven’t seen since looking at the brochure.
In spite of its slightly plastic-y look, this is going to save a fortune on paying to have the patio cleaned.
We got this to clean up a rear concrete pathway, and it did it pretty well when I finally got some decent weather.
Setting it up out of the box was a bit challenging, as the instructions were not the best. It took two people to figure it out, but we got there in the end. We haven’t tried all the attachments yet, as there are quite a lot of them, and I really just wanted to clear paths and steps from moss and mud that had built up. It made short work of it and soon enough there were piles of wet mud to clean up. The lance has a lot of power to it cutting through the debris in no time. Be warned though there is a high chance that while pathways get clean, you get dirty. On that note the unit and accessories are easy to clean with a wet cloth afterwards.
It’s very easy to put together and because of its small size its light and easy to move around and doesn’t take up a lot of space to store. All the usual power washer attachments and nozzles clip in to the body of the washer too which again is very handy for storing.
Our patio was ingrained with winter dirt and this powerful little machine removed it with ease. I then went on to power wash pretty much everything in the garden as its addictive. Window sills, shed, table, conservatory roof.. all got a good clean.
The power cord is a nice length at 16ft and the hose is 17ft which was plenty long enough to get to everything in our garden.
I’ve not tried all the features as yet (eg not tried it on the car), but for blasting the algae growing on the concrete in a dark corner of the garden, it was excellent as it did a great job – I will upload the before and after. Its never going to feel as solid as one of the more expensive Karchers, but it’s a great budget machine.
The black and decker is quite powerful for this price range and I find the upright trolley style easier to use and move around. It comes with the usual long reach ode and the adjustable spray nozzle. Patio cleaner head made easy task of block paving. I only tested on area of 2 sqm and it only took a minute (see photos below). I’ll leave the rest for the summer & update here!
Bonus- if you’ve owned Karchers before you’ll be pleased to know the extra accessories will also fit the black and decker!
I used this around the outside of the house to clean the green growth that was discolouring the house wall where it meets the ground – and it works amazingly well! The unit is relatively small, convenient and very powerful. I also tried using it to clean off some mud from my tires and it did the trick. Of course, don’t use it on your car’s body because it’ll destroy the paintwork. It’s a great tool to have around the home and I’m very glad to have it.

This produces 110 bar of pressure and given its small size, portability and price is impressive. It has done a good job here tested on driveways and patio areas. It lacks a few attachments that can be acquired from rivals but those products are a bit more expensive and I assume B&Q will offer further attachments to be purchased separately. However this unit is very good as it is and needs serious consideration.

We tested this out last weekend….. required some assembly from the box, but nothing particularly taxing. There is a foot stand that gives it stability when you stand it up which has to be attached and screwed into place, and the wheels just push into position. You need to push with some force, at first we were scared the prong would break but you need to push really hard and then it clicks into place. There’s a plastic detergent bottle which is stored on the body when not in use, as do the nozzles and attachments, and there is a hose adaptor included too.
Once set up, (which took about 10 minutes), we found the power more than sufficient to blast the dirt from the car, and to clean the paving slabs on the patio.
In reality I would probably prefer the bucket of warm soapy water and big sponge for the car, but then use this for rinsing it off afterwards, however for cleaning the patio and patio furniture, this is excellent!
Lightweight and manoeuvrable with a reasonably small footprint, it isn’t taking up too much room in the garage, and is quick and easy to get going when needed.
On unpacking it you find a lot of attachments – a brush, a directional high pressure nozzle (referred to as a GUN in the manual), various connectors. You really DO need to set it up and use it for the first couple of goes with the manual to hand.
The manual sensibly says this should not be used near children or animals and you have to be really careful what you do point it at, due to the extremely high output of the washer, I decided to lock our cats in the house when trying it out.
You need to set your tap to maximum output to match the pump activity, or there’s a chance that the pump will malfunction. I imagine this will set a few water-meters hearts a-racing! I also imagine that if you have low water pressure, that could be a problem. I was worried about balancing the water input to the washer, but it was a case of getting the machine powered on, quickly setting the tap going and then getting on with it . I familiarised myself with the safety catch before starting. It’s not advisable to hang about when the tap is pumping water out at a rate, as you need to discharge it from the washer. I stopped everything while I attached the brush attachment, though it was fairly quick to do. So I probably didn’t need to do that. I haven’t used the large surface cleaning attachment yet.
I tried the washer out on my ront driveway which has been repaved a few years ago and it made it noticeably brighter and cleaner, just by using the gun to wash the surface. I then used the brush in a couple of places at the egdes of the driveway where there awas a buildup of stubborn muck and the results were quite pleasing.
I also used it on part of the parking area at the side of the house at the top of my driveway. This area has been covered with gravel and over a long time has got quite mucky. The jet was powerful enough to wash the soily stuff away and get down to the paving and brighten the area up considerably. It also did a nice job on my car body and wheel trims, from a sensible distance, getting rid of the type of muck that the car wash spray and brushes often miss.
I am fairly sure I will find out a lot more on further use of the washer, but though I imagine it will not get frequent use, because it does such a good job, it’s a pretty essential tool for our household.
I’m not well-up on prices for comparative items, but would say that this is excellent value for money.
Black & Decker always = Quality and this durable, functional and excellent washer doesn’t let them down in any way.
It requires a bit of assembly when it arrives and it took me a little while to figure it all out, just know that there are attachments to attachments and you’ll be alright.
Tips:
1. The assembly instructions make up the cover of the booklet, so open it all out, including the back. There are different versions of the Pressure Washer and the instructions incorporate all of them. If you have a simpler version, you won’t have the extra hosepipe real to attach etc. The little black plastic label forms a loop and is used to hold the electric wire.
2. When starting the machine, make sure the two arrows on the main tool are always aligned, otherwise it will easily be squirted off (not very clever).
3. When starting a job, wear waterproof garments or ones you won’t mind getting dirty and very wet.
4. When doing a job, the muck will go everywhere, including on doors and the machine itself, but that’s waterproof, so if there’s something you don’t want to risk getting dirty either move it or cover it.
I know it’s a bit sad to get excited about pressure washing your yard but this is honestly the best one I have ever used. It is much lighter than ones I have had before so easy to manoeuvre around. It is not any less powerful though despite its small size. As always with pressure washing it does create a large amount of mess and dirt so you need to protect yourself! But my York stone flags look brilliantly clean and as good as new. Very pleased.
This is a super little washer, nice neat and compact. It’s quite light compared to our other washer. Really easy to assemble all you need is a Philips screwdriver for cross thread. We already have a Karcher but it’s so heavy and messy we don’t use very often. We naturally have all the fittings needed for this one.
The power lead is already fitted with a 13 amp plug and all the connectors for the hose are on the back of the unit. You have a concentrated nozel and a wide one, it really depends how dirty the surface is. There is an on/off switch on the front of the unit. To use just attached the hose to a connector tap and away you go.
I must say for such a compact machine it does a fabulous job of cleaning. My walls had salt from the snow and the patio was filthy from it all as not been done for few months, but this brought it all up like new and my garden and front paths, they looked white instead of green and brown. Only pity is it started raining now but it took no time at all to clean them, and didn’t blow all the mess over the place like our other one, the power is very forceful too. The power lead, with a fitted standard 13amp plug, and the connector for the input water hose are on the back of the unit, and the connector for the output pressure hose and the power on/off switch are on the front of the unit.
The pressure hose clicks into the “gun”, which can be used with one of three nozzles. A short nozzle has a detergent bottle attached, for use with particularly dirty surfaces. Either a wide nozzle or a concentrated nozzle can be attached to the lance, which in turn is attached to the gun. Once the unit is assembled, all alternative configurations are “clicked” together.
To use, attach the power chord to a socket, attach a hose, connected to a tap, using the “Hoselock” style connector, attach the pressure hose and select and attach the required nozzle, and you’re ready to go.
So, what about performance?
My garden paths and terraces were laid with textured slabs, which tend to get quite dirty over the winter and need to be pressure washed in the spring. Last year, my pressure washer failed and they weren’t cleaned, so they’re particularly dirty this year.
Although it’s a little early in the year, I cleaned a section of path as a test. Using the wide nozzle, the top dirt was very quickly removed, but the more ingrained dirt needed the concentrated nozzle and took quite a bit longer. This was a cold windy day, so I didn’t have an enormous amount of enthusiasm, but the results were very good (see pictures) and I’m sure the Black+Decker washer will be up to the job, when I get round to the complete job in a couple of months.
Noise level is not excessive and, with the lance attached to the gun, the nozzle is close enough to the ground to avoid unnecessary strain on the back. When finished, the compact design and the clever facilities for holding the accessories make storage very easy.
This is a 1,400W pressure washer, and I have rated it as such. Although it’s perfectly adequate for average sized areas, larger areas could be fairly time consuming, so I would suggest one of the more powerful models in the range might save some time and effort.
In summary, this is an attractive, compact, well designed, power washer that does what it says on the box.
I’ve owned a VAX pressure washer for a couple of years and use it fairly regular on the car, van and the drains, my only grumble is its fairly big.
When offered the Black & Decker It looked a small and more organised option so agree to try it.
First impression are very good, a small much more organised Pressure washer, the washer is a trolly where just about everything attaches to it, superb idea and great for storage.
Comes with a very good selection of tools everything I’ve ever needed, and its only weighing 7 kgs which is a lot lighter than my VAX model
Operation is easy, If you’ve owned one before then you’ll soon get to grip with this one, If you haven’t owned one its worth sitting down and having a good read of the user manual.
Power is enough with 125 bar of pressure, its great for for getting the muck from my van, its been great for cleaning our mossy steps and paving.
The washer includes a High pressure Gun, this is probably the one you will use most,, the High Pressure Hose which is 5 meters long, Extension Lance which I have used clearing our drain which can collected leaves etc, you also a have an Adjustable Spray Nozzle, a Rotary Spray Nozzle, Foam Sprayer (0, 4lt ); Patio cleaner, Wash brush, Transparent Water Filter and even a Nozzle cleaning pin and not forgetting the Instruction manual
What makes this really good for me is how well it all stores, as its something you don’t use everyday its easy to misplace something, If its all in one place then that’s good for me, performance is excellent, as good as I’ve had home pressure washer wise.
This is great value, great design and most important great performance
The Black+Decker BXPW1600PE High-Pressure Washer is a really great device that works and what is more works well, pure and simple.
The power ie the rate at which it shoots out water is good and the built-in tools provided allow you to tackle most tasks easily.
I would select and buy this one myself as it ticks all the boxes.

That is a good adequate starter machine not as high powered as this and it does not have the tools this one does.
This machine is worth it for the extra power and the tools that really allow you to use the power of a power washer to the full..
You can, of course, go for the higher power and spec machines in the range.

— well worth it if you live in the country and have large vehicles or have a larger house and patio to clean.
But most people don’t need that extra ‘oomph’ along with cost. This machine with it’s power and tools is the better choice and is fine for Suburbia and a two car family.
Where this machine scores for me is that all the tools, hose etc are stored in one place, on the trolly where you need them. To hand and in reach.
If you have a device with the tools separate they need to be stored in the garage or whatever, get lost, covered with other stuff and damage easily.
Plus you find yourself having to traipse back to locate them, then return to fit them etc etc.
A waste of valuable cleaning time.
Plus and this is a big plus using this machine is so dam satisfying!
There I’ve said it, let the cat out of the bag, blown the secret.
I really get a lot of satisfaction in ‘blasting’ the dirt and grime from mucky tools and equipment and dirt begrimed surfaces.
There is a deep satisfaction when you see the dirt being forced away revealing the pristine surfaces below.
There is a real satisfaction that you get from having a job well done. There is almost a primeval urge to use a (power) tool to gain an overwhelming advantage over a weaker (enemy) surface.
You actually can’t wait for the surface to look like it ‘could just do with a quick once over again’.
Now if vacuum cleaners worked this way no woman would get a chance to use one to clean the house! (Mr Dyson take note!!) (Ladies start a petition!!)
A word of advice.
Read the maual. Always a good idea. Then read it again.
This will save your hours of trail and error believe me.
The machine is a well thought out device that is designed to fit together easily and well and be the optimum tool for power cleaning.
Wear your oldest clothes and waterproof boots. The dirt can be splashed everywhere so decent pair of industrial googles is a good idea too. Dirt bounces off surfaces and walls and you get splashed.
Never, ever point it at anyone and that includes next doors cat that uses your garden as a latrine.
This is a high powered tool that demands respect and care.

In traditional B&D colours, this black and orange pressure washer is built into its own trolley for easy movement and storage. The trolley also allows easy storage of the power cable, which is fitted with a moulded UK mains plug. It also stores the accessories, which is a godsend. The plastic wheels are ideal for the job and easily drip dry after a quick blast from the spray to clean them!
A 5m hose is supplied which allows you to connect the high pressure gun or lance and there is an easy snap connection to your water supply with a filter that stops sudden blockages. The patio cleaner and wash brush are supplied rather than being extras that you can add on later and both deliver an excellent service when used.
It is absolutely amazing the change in your patio when you use this! After one clean the patio had changed colour so severely, I couldn’t stop until I had completed the task, as the difference in shade would have been too shocking. After a week, I repeated the task only to find a further improvement. High pressure water really reveals and lifts the dirt in these outdoor areas. I have to say that I have a new appreciation for patio cleaning and see now why my neighbours do it regularly.
There are lots of uses for this product, but can I say that its real unique selling points are the way it is self-contained in its trolley and stores its own accessories. The truth is that you don’t want a pressure cleaner that leaves add on bits all over your garage, which makes this a really good buy.
