Great for stairs, car and maintenance around the house. Exactly what I wanted.
I specifically waited for this model to be available because I’d researched a lot of similar items and this one came out best in my opinion. I wasn’t disappointed. It’s super easy to use, the suction power is great and the extension and small bush attachment are really useful. I can’t think of anything I’d want in a hand held cleaner that this doesn’t have.
I ordered a different handheld vacuum before this one and it was useless. Although this is a little noisy, it gets the job done and is made to pick up small crumbs, dirt and dust. It is easy to empty, has a nice little charging station too. The only downside is that the 2nd setting is far too noisy and you always have to press it twice before switching it off. I’d definitely recommend getting this one over the 20 options you see on Amazon because those proved to be absolutely useless.
Used for picking up biscuit crumbs, crisp crumbs and small pieces of mud a cat brought in.
Replacement for dust buster had for years, was getting a bit tired. This replacement is so powerful, great for picking up the odd thing on kitchen floor, getting into tight corners or wherever. Not tried in car yet but believe it will be a great help.
A very effective powerful handheld vacuum cleaner.
The suction, even after a year, is the same as when it was new and it’s pretty amazing for a small vacuum! All you need to do is to keep the dust container empty and the filter clean. Which is easy enough!
It’s handy, it’s lightweight, it picks up even the heavier bits of the cats litter. The battery holds long enough for my needs but now it started to charge only to about 2/3 it’s capacity.
Still, it’s enough for a quick swipe around the bedroom and the bathroom.
I use this vacuum everyday, sometimes even twice a day and I can’t really fault it.
It’s reasonably priced, robust and after having really bad experience with much more expensive Dyson I can honestly say I’m very happy with it.
Worth the high price. Performs all small sucking duties with aplomb. Minus one star because you can’t detach the nozzle for cleaning – and they do get horribly grungy inside.
Two power settings, but honestly we never feel the need to go above the first.
The battery charge lasts forever, (when using as a crumb duster or sofa sucker).
I also like the fact you can sit it back on its convenient cradle when done and it will charge on there. One snag is sometimes it takes a few attempts to hook it onto its cradle. Or that might just be me?
It is easy to empty. One lever and the dust chamber comes away to tip the contents into the bin. A quick tap of the filter inside and you are good to go again.
The only problem is that it pushes the suction air downwards, which blows and spreads any dirt that is there.
Apparently the article for sale is not the latest version of this vacuum cleaner. By seeing photos of the newest one, they seem to have solved this problem.
world i would hoover them everyday, and yay now i can. The dust buster has a turbo mode which is actually feels like the strength of a regular vacuum cleaner and an extender to get into the nooks and cranny’s. Although the extender tends to push back in quite easily which is annoying. Be mindful in turbo mode the power runs down quicker. I would say you roughly get 15 minutes per charge, without it on, but that’s enough for me to do two flights of stairs a sofa 2 bench’s and two hallways. It’s really easy to empty and clean the filter which i’ve heard you must do regularly so it keeps it’s full
power. I’m in lurve man.
I bought this for one purpose, to suck up Guinea pig poops from their cage for easier cleaning. So far it’s been great. It doesn’t pick up the bigger stands of hay but I didn’t expect it to. Its perfect for what I need it to do, the suction is powerful, it holds enough before I need to empty it, it’s fairly loud but I didn’t expect it to be quiet. It charges quickly but I’ve not used it long enough yet to know how long a full charge will give you.
I’ll probably also use this for hoovering the car as the suction is strong enough.
Haven’t used another that even comes close, it’s really powerful and easy to use, battery doesn’t last ages but enough to do the whole car no problem.
We have a good hoover,but my husband was always going to the garage to hoover the car out,but now he’s often, in the garden, hoovering it out,with this little jem.

I bought a shark handheld hoover and it lasted 10 minutes on full charge it was rubbish. I bought this one having played with my friends and I love this more. The suction is fantastic cleaning the car is a lot easier and cleans brilliantly.

Bought this to replace an earlier B&D Dustbuster which after many years of regular use had finally packed up. This new machine, while being very similar to our old machine, is a great improvement (being much easier to clean and to maintain).

Sturdy but light in the hand, this works very well for valeting the car, which is what I bought it for. Even grit and leaves are coped with. It charges well. As with much from Black & Decker, recommended

This was bought to replace an identical item which unfortunately no longer recharged after about 3 years. It is light, has two suction speeds and is easy to empty
Bought mainly for my car, but find it being used all around the house.
Good for the stairs, small spills such as crumbs etc, ideal for getting the dust of skirting boards and when I get a shot it does a great job of the car.
The bristles are good to help lift small bits and the extension is really useful to get down the side of seats.
The suction power is good, ideal for cars and cloth like materials or hard surfaces that gathers a lot of dust. I personally use this vacuum for cleaning my car.

Perfect handheld vacuum cleaner for long battery life and super strong suction. Please do no compare it with Dyson, that is a full size vaccum, this guy is perfect hand held size you can carry for full 15 mins in one hand and vaccum your car, so for in between full vaccums.
I was using a cheap rechargable vaccum before this which broke very quickly. This is very good though, really powerful, easy to empty, has an extendable bit and lasts a long time betwen charges. For the price, i was really surprised how effective it would be. Thoroughly recommend.
Great product. I am very impressed! In the past if i wanted a good one it was either too expensive or had no power. This has more power than i imagined and it was not expensive.
I can’t say enough good things about this! Light, powerful, easy to use, easy to clean! We have a history of wrecking hoovers as we have a very dusty old house, 2 cats and a young child but this is fabulous! Well done B&D! Can’t recommend high enough!

It’ll suck just about anything, but it does tire and will need a little rest to recharge itself if you overdo the sucking.
It has 2 levels of sucking. But realistically who uses suck level 1 when theres a suck level 2? I mean seriously, i want the maximum amount of sucking at all times.

– the dustbin comes out really easily on its own during vacuuming, not sure if I’m doing something wrong?
– The blue extension folds back really easily, would be great if it had a little magnet keeping it open, I find it goes back inside each time I hit a small uneaven surface
This cleaner is good, lightweight, good on the stairs and the suction is brilliant. However, the only downside to it is dusts escapes through the vent.

I am really pleased with this hoover, its so easy to use on my stairs, around my workshop and for spills, its lasts for 15 mins when fully charged and I like the design, easy to empty etc.
Yes, you can pay a lot more or a lot less for your hand-held vac, but this is a brilliant mid-ranger. I did a lot of research before choosing the DVJ325BF. Chose it because it had a li-ion battery (so should last a few years without losing its ability to hold its charge) and a half-decent dust capacity. A few months in, it’s doing an ace job.
This has real power, great for the dog hairs in the car , and awkward corners.Lightweight but feels strong.
I did like this vac But could not find any replacement filters for this vac so useless to me when the filter ends its life…
This product is fantastic. Yes it’s quite expensive but trust me, it’s worth it. Not sure why there are any negative reviews on here. Had a few mini hoovers over the years and this beats them all. The extendable end for the side of the car seat is epic. And the turbo mode is awesome.

Im very happy with this cleaner for the price, I attached the wall mounted dock to the inside of my under stairs cupboard and it’s always ready to go when needed so my house is much cleaner as a result! It’s not as powerful as a “proper” mains powered cleaner of course but I can’t personally think you’d want much more from a lightweight unit. The battery life isn’t anything spectacular (about 10 mins of cleaning) but you’re not going to clean the whole house with it just small areas, and because it’s easy to just put it back in the dock, its always fully charged when I need it, so the battery life isn’t too much of an issue.
The extending tube and brush being integrated is a nice touch too as they won’t get lost.

I also found that because it had to be plugged into the wall for charging with a power adaptor I’d always forget to charge it up and next time I’d come to use it it would be flat.

Have had this in use every day for almost two months now and it replaced an earlier version. It is so useful for picking up crumbs, cat’s fur, bits of wool off socks, you name it. It makes the house look clean and tidy without the need for a complete vacuum. It’s easy to charge on it’s stand (although placing it on it’s stand takes a bit of getting used to). I find if I have a quick flick around the house it lasts two to three days, but it depends of course on how long you use it for. It is a little noisier than my previous one but the battery lasts a lot longer. I would definitely recommend it.
I bought this to replace a dying Black & Decker Dustbuster that had never really been that amazing in the first place. I figured I’d spend a bit more and hopefully get something that packed a bit more of a punch. We’ve got a golden retriever and my husband cycles, these two facts are not conducive to a tidy home.
This thing is AMAZING. It’s got incredible suction for a handheld. While it won’t replace the upright vacuum for doing the carpets, it does a valiant effort for in-between cleaning. The extendible wassit tube thing means cobwebs can do one.
It does take a while to fully charge but I’ve never had it run out of juice while I’ve been using it. It’s super easy to empty and impressively lightweight. It’s not particularly quiet though.
I’ve tried my Mum’s Dyson handheld and really didn’t see what the fuss was about. This machine is brilliant in comparison. I’d happily recommend.
My husband is sceptical about all hand hoovers, because they tend to blow air out the back and stir up any dust behind you. Of course, this is still the case with this, but I don’t find it an issue because I use it for specific things, like getting into corners and under car seats. The suction on this is excellent, and unlike my previous hand hoover from another brand, it’s lasted more than 2 years so far.
I am really impressed with this handheld hoover. I use it several times a day in my kitchen. It’s really powerful and I am amazed at how much dust I am emptying each day! It’s very easy to use and charges quickly. I only use it for a minute or 2 at a time so not sure about the 15 mins charge but it does seem to charge quickly. I’ve washed the filter twice now and it’s very simple to do. Again, the fine dust trapped in there was unbelievable. It feels very sturdy and well made. I would say the only downsides are: this is a touch heavy for me and also quite noisy…but then again, that’s probably required for the built quality and the vacuum power of the tool. I love it. I’m looking for the replacement filters at the moment, as the manual says that you need to replace the internal filter every 6 to 9 months.
If you need a lightweight hover for all the little jobs stairs, skirting boards and nooks and crannies this is the hoover i recommend .

Brilliant! The design is ace and the suction is damn fine. Half the time I use this as opposed to my vacuum as it’s that good. Good charge time, looks cool (for a dust buster!) ams works well. Sometimes it’s a tricky game to get it back in its stand, but that’s it 🙂
At last, a DustBuster that can pick up more than a grain of rice! Cleans all the crisps out the car seats easily. Ideal for the stairs too. Took me a while to discover the pull out extension wand lol. Highly recommended

Really impressed with this little vacuum. It has two power settings and the top setting is really powerful and able to remove cat hair from my rug, which is tough work even for my full sized vacuum.
Filter and collector are easy to empty and clean and the charging cradle is a nice touch.
Would be good if it came with a brush attachment (the fold over half brush doesn’t do much).
Deffo worth the extra money over cheaper alternatives.
But this beauty is completely different, it is so powerful and will pick up everything in it’s path, if you buy this I honestly promise you will never buy another one until you replace it with another of these, it’s simply blows every other cordless vac away and as I said I have tried at least 7 types over the years, and the price and value is astonishing.
Useful for small jobs around the house when you don’t want to get a large vacuum cleaner out. e.g. picking up crumbs or sucking up a high up cobweb.
This is the best gadget EVER! I love it. It’s light, convenient and has a powerful suck. It’s Great for sucking up pesky wasps when eating outside and Spiders in high ceiling corners. It has a multitude of uses and is easy to Handle and empty. I wish I had bought one years ago!
I’ve nothing much to add to the praises already heaped on this machine by others – but I just wanted to say that we bought ours in January 2017 and, as of now September 2020, it’s still running well. It gets a lot of use, so it gets a lot of charges, and so far the battery is holding up well. Having now said that, it’ll probably pack up next week!! And did I say it’s the most powerful hand held we’ve ever had?
I bought this as a present for my mum.
Personally I’m not a fan of Dustbusters because they aren’t very powerful, but this is what she wanted and it was on special offer so we bought it.
Well it is very powerful, battery life is good, wall mounted charger good and I wouldn’t mind having one if they are on offer again. The only annoying thing is you have to keep pressing the power button and go through different power levels to switch it off.
Great for those quick little jobs. Two good suction levels but don’t expect it to replace your main vacuum cleaner. battery lasts approx 10 mins on boost power and takes hours to recharge. Removing the dust collector for emptying and washing the filters is a bit fiddly but not too bad when you get used to it. My 94 year old dad thinks it’s brilliant (but leaves it to me for emptying!). Much better than previous hand-held vacuums I’ve owned. Recommended.

Replacing a previous black and decker model this one is far better! Suction is fantastic and that is just on the first setting. I don’t tend to use the boost button and only remember I have this option when I turn off the machine as there is only one button for on, boost and off. Can’t complain about this DustBuster at all as it does everything I want it to do. Does take a long time to charge but this is not a problem as it rests on the dock anyway so I always have it charged and ready to go. The best thing about this machine is the charging/battery indicator. My previous model didn’t have this and I can now see how much battery is left.
