I love the kit and easy to use and great investment for this
So, once this product is actually put on an mic arm, it’s really nice! But if you are looking at this in order to purchase a mic arm with the shock mount already on it, look elsewhere. It does seem overpriced for just the mount, however it’s sturdy and I’ve noticed a higher microphone audio quality since purchasing. I would recommend this product.
Looks like it may not work, but it does. My audio went from belh to wow, I should have done this sooner. To clarify this is a 1000% improvement from the desk mount. It puts the height right and eliminates the keyboard vibrations from the table/desk.
For my Blue Yeti X, I had to remove the gold adapter from the bottom. For my Blue Compass Boom Arm, I had to remove the gold washer looking piece that tightened against the mic directly.
Great shock mount.
It only comes with the shockmount, and I get that, it’s just a bit misleading that the image is with the arm. Good quality product but with slightly misleading presentation.
going to be honest, i thought i was the mic arm and i didnt really read the discription. other reason not to buy things at 3 am but eh, it all worked out, i just 3d modeled a mount for my shelf and its work great for me.
Good item and works seamlessly with the Yeti Microphone! Recommended.
Does well for the price don’t have to spend loads
I do voice-overs, narration, and live streams and always bought cheapy microphones. I wish I hadn’t wasted money on them and just got this one. The cheaper mics I had were very low, wouldn’t pick up my voice very well, and were just not very good.
This one is obviously a little more expensive, but you see where the money goes! I can have it sit a good distance from me and it will pick up my voice with crystal clear quality. I have Logitech G-Hub installed on my PC, and the settings for this mic are great, from noise reduction to make you sound like a robot. I wish I had bought this one the first time around, would have saved me loads of hassle. It’s a great mic.
Really easy to set up, its so much better compare to the simple cheap one I had….

You can move your mic without any noise
Gift for my brother to complete his streaming setup. Removed some recorded noise from his desktop movements.
The shock mount does what it’s meant to do! I was looking forward to see if I could mount it right side up and you can with no problems. I have mine mounted on the Rode PSA1+ boom arm.

I purchased this Blue Radius 3 shock mount to go with my Blue Yeti Boom Arm and the Mic shown in my photo. It fits perfectly as I imagined because it’s from the same company. No instructions came with the box but that’s ok as it is self explanatory how it should go together. Without this shock mount I would not be able to mount my mic to the boom arm. Or at least not that I am aware of because I tried. It looks super professional even though I only use it as my main mic for work. I work from home and I needed a good mic setup to use for Zoom/Team meeting. I’m still not entirely sure why I needed this shock mount but a lot of people I’ve talked to says it’s necessary. Also, my Yeti Blue Mic doesn’t fit on the Yeti Blue Mic Arm without it. Seems like a defect in their products but not sure which is defective.

It was slightly annoying adjusting it for my microphone to be placed onto it but other than that, it works properly. I’m able to adjust my microphone much easier thanks to this and so far it is holding my YETI X just fine!
No issues, no complaints. Works great with my Blue Yeti X USB mic
