Easy to install and strong adhesive.. I use it to secure the windows so that my 1 year old can’t push it open and it’s useful for cupboards too.
Amazing product. Very quick and easy to install! I was a bit nervous buying these because I’m not good at installing things and thought I might have to ask someone for help but I did it myself as it was so so easy. I would definitely recommend, the length can be adjusted and the stickiness is great too, just make sure to follow the instructions on the box and don’t touch the adhesive as it will make it less effective on staying stuck to the cupboard. Very quick delivery and would definitely buy from here again, very happy! My daughter won’t be able to get in to things now when she starts to walk. Thank you.
Very effective and practical product for families with very young children and dogs. Glued easily with ply board cabinet and kitchen cabinet in our lounge and kitchen. Easy to stick. Literally few seconds. Great buy.
This is the 3 rd time I’ve purchased the locks ! They are brilliant! Having to put them up higher so my younger grandchildren can’t get in wardrobes or cupboards or the fridge ! So easy to use and fix !
These are absolutely brilliant and so easy to put on. My toddler was going straight for the knife drawer but this little tab really helped keep him away. I’ve also placed this under the sink where we keep detergents. Honestly great purchase and decent amount in the box.
Since this product is installed, toddler is not interested in opening anything but to play with this lock. If it is open, he spends time trying to close it, if it is closed he is trying to open it. No more worries about crushed fingers by the drawers. Excellent. Adhesion seams strong, so I am expecting it might not be easy to remove, but I have not tested that yet.
My twin girls where getting into every draw and cupboard in sight and pulling everything out of them all over the floor, at least 5 or 6 times a day. I thought they might learn not to…. but I’d had enough of putting everything back 100 times a day! I didn’t want to spend a fortune on all sorts of fancy child locks so I found these….. they are affordable and absolutely perfect for the job! They are adjustable if you have bigger or smaller spaces to lock up, you can use them on draws or cupboard doors or wardrobe or even toilet lid…. I was so impressed with them I bought 3 more boxes for the rest of the house & now I can rest easy knowing that everything is safe!

The only concern is that what damage the sticky pad would do to our furniture. It is indeed a strong pad. I have only put it on the old drawers yet, haven’t tried on the new expensive furniture.

Booboo Child Baby Safety Cupboard Door Strap locks are great for locking the cupboard doors especially when you have little kids, the product is quite secure and the adhesive is also good. Only one complain the price is at the higher end. But apart from that the product is great, easy to install and no issues.
With our 20 months old opening every door and drawer in the house these days these products seemed to be a potential solution.
They arrived as described and took seconds to install. So far so good in that baby can’t pull the doors open nor has she shown any signs or figuring out how to unlock them. Very happy.
We have tried so many cupboard locks, all of which our son has been able to get through. So far these are working!

So happy with these safety locks – this is the second time I’ve purchased them. I tried other ones before (expensive, magnetic etc) and they just didn’t work. They are simple to install and do the job perfectly, my little one can’t get into any of the kitchen cupboards, can’t ask for more than that.

My 1 year old has become fascinated with the toilet, in particular trying to reach inside the bowl! These fasteners are an amazing way to keep the toilet seat firmly closed! They are also really easy to release- I have rheumatoid arthritis but can release them no issues. Pads are very sticky – have had no issues there. Also great for preventing cupboard doors opening. All round must have for baby proofing the home!

I’ve been looking for a good sturdy and reliable cupboard straps, as my almost 2 years boy can be very quick in reaching things. Everything I bought so far was coming out easily when he pulled it. This product however is great, easy to install and very sturdy. Since I’ve put them on my cupboards two months ago, they are still there with no problems whatsoever. Would buy another box to secure some of the higher draws, as he is growing LOL Definitely recommend!
These have been a life saver to keep my little one out of drawers and cupboards, but there are some wooden surfaces that the adhesion doesn’t last. After a couple of months my little one managed to remove two of these from a wooden surface.
Wonderful product, arrived before time. Very easy to install and does what it says on the tin – they work like a dream and prevent our little curious one from getting into cupboards. Bought to keep my kitten out of a kitchen cupboard containing chemicals. Works well, easy to install if you read the instructions carefully first, and easy to pop open every time we need to get to the cupboard. Only complaint is that we only needed one so would be good to be able to buy in smaller quantities.
These are nifty little devices which render most doors and appliances safe from inquisitive babies. They are easy to install being just adhesive pads and the opening mechanism is easy for adults to open but impossible for baby digits! The only critique is that it is fiddly to adjust the length of the strap, the strap holder is a bit stiff. However that is a minor point.
We have used these on many cupboards and pretty good and strong. Sometimes a challenge to use on inward corner cupboards but practically not sure if there is an easier option for that anyway.
Use these as extra locks for the ferret hutch and on the kitchen cupboards. Amazingly durable adhesive, used for about a year and never had to replace a single one! Withstand regular daily use, hot and dry or wet and cold weather and even the ferrers desperate attempts to open the cupboard doors
For a really nice price, I get some really strong Baby Proof Looks and really easy to use. They are also extremely easy to install, as the name suggests, and in less than 5 minutes I baby proof all my cabinets doors!

Purchased these to stop my baby from opening and shutting cupboard doors. They stick so well and are very easy to unlock when I need to. I’ve used these in my kitchen, bedroom and living room. There were so many in the box and they come with extra adhesive stickers. I can’t even tell that they’re there as they blend in with my furniture. I will need to purchase more as he is finding more and more drawers to open! Definitely recommend!
Super easy to apply – took about 30 secs for first one, the rest less than 10 secs. 3 year old can’t open but for me it’s really quick to open. My only concern is that the adhesive will damage my painted cupboards. I dont understand why 3m didn’t use the same adhesive fixtures that they use for wall hangings that dont damage walls. However, I would recommend this product as it’s so simple to affix and use.
These cupboard locks are very easy to install and can be adjusted to the length you need. Good adhesion. I find them a little difficult to use one-handed, but have only been using them for a few days. I’m sure they will be useful in keeping baby out of drawers.
Really liked this product. There are so many different safety locks out there I purchased a pack of these to see what they were like! I installed the first pack so quickly and easily that I ordered another pack straight away. I’ve fitted these to all my cupboards and wardrobe doors and drawers throughout the house and bathroom, including ikea eket range of furniture. Simple instructions that are easy to follow. My one year old really tries hard to pull them off but he hasn’t managed to yet and they’ve been up about a month. Brilliant! Easy to open and close. Will be ordering more soon for the rest of the house.
My son is obsessed with the doors on our tv unit, and both kids kept getting out things that we don’t want them playing with, breaking some things too. These strips are sturdy. My son grabbed one and pulled with his full weight and it didn’t budge, so our possessions are safe. He’s 19 months and really tall and strong for his age, so I’d happily use them for the foreseeable.
I’d doubts that these door straps would be any good. I couldn’t see how they’d have the strength to stick to a variety of surfaces; but they did. I couldn’t see how they’d stand up to the violent, psychotic wiles of a sometimes gorgeous two year old granddaughter; but they did. She hates them, as they help stop her from systematically destroying my house. I love them.

They are great in the kitchen. So far my 1 year old can’t get in them. I also put one on the handle of the oven and it holds really well. The reason why I gave 4 stars is that it doesn’t hold on our cupboard in the bathroom for some reason.

They’re really easy to install and adhere well. Also easy to open unlike some other similar products. My only gripe was I couldn’t figure out for the life of me how to adjust the strap length despite reading the instructions. I could lock the catch in place, just couldn’t get the strap to budge.
These are the only child locks I’ve used that actually stay stuck and which my 18m old can’t undo. These are now pretty much everywhere in my home, which is great fun when the grandparents come over as they cant undo them either! 🙂
Easy to install, and hold up great. They give 4 extra 3M stickers for other usage or replacement, which was nice.
Had the item for a few days. So far so good. The only thing is when you use it cupboard doors where both doors open you can still open the doors a bit enough for the child to get their hand inside but can only grab something small at the edge of the cupboard, otherwise fine. Been excellent for fridge freezers where the child cannot open the door at all. All in all a great solid product well worth 5 stars.
Wanted to make a quick purchase here for child safety in my house. Reviewed a few options at Amazon and picked this up – delivery was seamless as usual – product came in a sealed packing – all good. Product was good and helped me close doors etc from being opened by my inquisitive toddler. Adhesive is good, could be better.

Chose these as my son enjoys emptying everything. Our kitchen was looking like a crime scene. He had the tendency to bring you items out of the fridge that might not be appropriate for a 1-year-old (Glass jars, my beer). We needed to think of a drastic solution. We chose these ones as they had an excellent review and also they came with more than one lock (my son empties every cupboard). We’re thrilled with the locks as my beer remains safe in the fridge and my son remains safe from harm. Win, Win!
I bought these to stop my very curious little boy from getting into certain cupboards in my kitchen and utility, they got good reviews so I thought I would risk it. I am not disappointed! They arrived the next day and were super easy to install. we put them in 3 different arrangements and all of which are strong and secure and keep my little one safe. They are discrete, easy for adults to open and unlock, but baffle the little one!! I will be buying more should the need arise!
I am surprised at how strong the stickers on these are. I was apprehensive about them especially because of the price but they are great. My 11 month old is really heavy handed so I thought he would have these off in no time but I was wrong. Baby on the other hand is furious with them as he can no longer go in cupboards and put whatever he can find in his mouth.
After trying a couple of other type of lock I found these. I’ve had no issues with them. My Son is 2 now and still has’nt worked out how to open them, in fact my mother is almost 70 and has’nt worked them out either. keeps the Babycham out of reach (from mother, not my son)…
Such a strong adhesive sticks so well, not the easiest to adjust on the length as the slide doesn’t slide very easy, I bought these as my seemingly intelligent cat can open my fridge and help himself, he just tried and to no avail, great product!

So far so good, they are working like a treat, and they are good value for money. Would defo buy again, if I need more than the 6 in the pack. I have found that while children cant access beyond it, when fitted in place, the doors slightly open, so they could in theory still trap there little fingers if they want to shut the door closed again, however my child has learnt within a few days that they are there, and doesnt even try to open the doors now.
Purchased these childproof strap locks to secure kitchen and living room cupboards so that our 1 year old daughter can’t get into them. Found them so easy to use and stick onto the doors. The foam pads are great and very sticky. Very simple to unlock for adults but quite discreet so babies can’t work it out. Very happy with this purchase, so I’ve ordered some more for other areas of the house!
We got this to “puppy proof” our food cupboards. We weren’t sure so we got one to test this product out. This is so versatile, you can use it around corners, it is adjustable so works for any sizes although you’re bound to use the shortest length to secure the doors. The adhesive sticks first time and is secure, have ordered more for the rest of the house.
These seem to work well (it’s only day 1) but I can’t be the only person who ruined one of them by fiddling before reading the instructions, which is maddening. I look the strap out of the adjustable end and clipped the pieces together to see how they work, and then realised it’s a one-way move… You can’t unclip them to put the strap back in. So that’s 1 of the 6 locks essentially broken.
This product was really easy to install. We use it around a corner to keep our heavy fridge door shut. Seems good quality as we keep accidentally shutting it in the door and no damage done. Unfortunately our two and half year old worked out how to open it quite quickly. However, still pleased as it reinforces the message that the door is dangerous and should only be opened by adults. Will also be useful for baby number two. So not perfect for us but still seems to be useful.
Incredible. Had these months and although not the prettiest, they do whats needed. I wiped the cupboard with alcohol and pressed firmly on and my 2 year old cannot open or pull them off so a great ourchase in my eyes
So easy to install, takes just seconds and the adjustable straps are great for bending around corners. Not the best for closing two cupboard doors together as there will still be a little give but great for drawers.
Only just installed so this is no comment on longevity, but very happy.
Previously had ones which were difficult for me to even open, with a double pinch mechanism.
These are much simpler without being easy enough for toddler to figure out.

These allow for that, and the locking mechanism is also quite soft, so they click locked with a gentle push instead of having to.push in hard and double check they are locked
These seem great so far. I’ve just put them up and they stick really well. Easy for adults to use but there’s no way my daughter will be able to get her fingers caught in cupboards or empty the kitchen drawers. They’re adjustable for different lengths so I can fit them to lots of different furniture.
Easy to apply and install – less than 10 seconds! Easy for adults to open, but kids can’t. Super adhesive! Make sure you measure the length before sliding the attachment on completely as they can’t reopen. Wasted one doing this. Not sure how easy they will be to remove when it comes the time when I can, but they will give years of use.
We have used different sorts of safety locks and were disappointed by all of them. Then bought these. Though a little pricier than the others but these are totally worth it. These locks don’t break or fall off. The little one tried really hard to open but failed so now all the stuff in the cabinets is safe. I highly recommend these locks over any other since you don’t need to drill in the cabinets or anything. Just rip the tape off and stick to the cabinet.
These things work, they avoid your kids opening the cupboards and doors that they are not supposed to open.
They will not last forever, you can count for them to last about 18 to 24 months.
Anyway, I think they are a good product and this is why I am buying them agai
They work really well. I’ve been adding them as and when I see my son funding his way into new things. Bathroom cupboard, under stairs cupboard and most recently bedside table drawers. I didn’t realise if you clamp the slider closed properly it seems you can’t open it again? But I have enough to tide me over. I may revisit the clamped one if I find I need it!
Once fitted there is a small bar in the middle of one side that you have to slide out and pull towards you to undo it. This has proved impossible for our little one to figure out after a good 3 months of watching us open them.
They’re great as you can tell from a good distance if you’ve forgotten to close them, they are really sturdy and can fit on any shape of furniture.
These are blooming brilliant. I needed them to stop the dogs pulling the drawers out and eating all their treats while I was out… Wasn’t sure how they’d fit with drawers and in plastic but I took the chance and ordered them. Just got these delivered today and I have to say they are so easy to install. No screws needed which is perfect. They are easy to adjust for length and the stickers seem to hold really well. My 14 month old has been product testing them already and the stickers haven’t come loose at all. The only downside I see is that the side you lock into place for the length doesn’t appear to ‘unlock’ so the first one I did I locked into place and the others I have left so that if I need to move them or shorten the length I can. I would also suggest to the company to give more extra stickers as they only give 4 but there are 6 locks with 2 stickers on each. Otherwise, a great product and I would definitely recommend.
Works really well, I have a two year old and three year old. My three year old knows how to open them but never gets into anything without asking first. My two year old would destroy things if I didn’t lock it and can’t figure it out yet. He has pulled on it but has yet to manage to break it. 4/5 stars due to how it looks, it isn’t really the best looking and makes something’s look a little cheap.
These are great, keep drawers shut but still easy for adults to open. Very easy to install, just be aware that they are super sticky so make sure you test how you’re going to fit them before you actually do! Fitted them about a month ago and they haven’t budged / broken. Added bonus, my daughter actually finds them quite fascinating to play with even when locked!
Great! Keeps both our cupboards with cleaning products in safe and closed. The ratchet meant it was easy to fit to size, and the 3M tape is super easy to install and clean off afterwards. The spare tape means you can move them.
It’s easy to undo one handed, but keeps the small ones out, and there’s no loose parts to lose. It also doesn’t scratch smooth fronted cupboards.
These are super easy to install, (just stick and go) and are solid. There’s no way my child will be able
to open drawers or cupboards with these on there! There’s even replacement sticky pads in case you ever need to move the locks to another place.
Very easy to install. Strap adjustment is a great feature! More appropriate for flat surfaces/cabinets. I got design and curves on the front of kitchen cabinets so struggled little bit to adhere them. Otherwise good quality product.

The 3m sticks well and the clip is designed well enough that my little one can not use it yet.
Adjustable lengths so very happy with this purchase, also the value for money you get is pretty good.
I have used this product as a child safety element in my kitchen. The product is easy to use and definitely makes my kitchen safer. The only critique I have is that the clips themselves are quite bulky meaning they are not the most discrete looking when fitted. Unfortunately I could not fit them horizontally due to this, this can be seen in the attached photo.
I had other child locks from a different brand which are magnetic but they didn’t work on the curved shape of our fish tank or on our new kitchen cupboard doors which are quite thick. I haven’t put these ones to the test yet but they were really quick and easy to install. Just adjust the length, peel off the sticker and attach. Although they aren’t hidden like my last ones, they’re not unattractive. I also like that they didn’t come wrapped in a ton of plastic, just a small cardboard box so an added plus for that. Hopefully these will keep my little girl from slamming the fish tank doors on the poor little creatures and out of my kitchen spice cupboard.
I actually bought these because I have a bull dog pup who manages to chew open my dryer and these work a charm.he can open the doors aswell so we have these on some doors at the top.
There not easy to take off of walls though! I have made a slight hole when I took one off.. so make sure you put them where you want for definitely!

I used four of these straps on my kitchen drawers, and the other two to anchor a freestanding under-sink drawer to the tiled walls. They work well, although it’s important to ensure the surface is clean and dry. I used isopropyl alcohol to achieve this.
The straps are adjustable but once they are locked in place, it doesn’t seem possible to remove the plastic tab to adjust them again.
You also get some replacement adhesive pads which are useful if you ever need to reposition them.
They are easy enough to open one-handed for an adult, and so far my 16-month-old hasn’t figured them out, though only time will tell.
I needed to puppy-proof our kitchen cabinets from a Border Collie puppy with a criminal-genius level of intelligence. These stick-on locks have proved invaluable to keeping her out of cupboards containing things that really wouldn’t agree with her. Easy to apply and just as easy to use. They don’t hinder access to us humans blessed with opposeable thumbs, but do stop dogs in their tracks. I imagine they’d be equally effective on babies too.
So far so good, have installed all 6 on doors and drawers around my kitchen. Couldn’t be easier to install, literally peel off the sticker and place firmly where you want to secure. So easy to unlock, simply unclip one side. My 1 year old is pretty strong and he has pulled at the doors all day and they haven’t budged so I have high hopes. I’ve even placed some of them down low on the bottom of the doors so they’re not as obvious to look at and they work perfectly.
I’ve used those for around 6 months for kitchen cupboards in a rented apartment. Excellent quality and best ones I’ve tried so far. Just make sure that the surface you’re using it on can handel being cleaned after removal and won’t be affected. When my tenancy ended I removed each one by hand then used hot water cloth and a metal dishes scruber to remove, each took me less than 30 seconds to remove. I will surely purchase more for my next apartment.
I bought this for my 10 month old son who is very curious. I was a little dubious about buying this because the drawers that be likes to open fold down from the top and there is not really anywhere to put the strap because the top part is a slidable glass shelf.
However the product is now sitting nicely it is super strong and can be opened with 1 hand (once you know how). Now my heart beats a little easier knowing that he will not slam his fingers down on it when trying to open it. Thanks booboobabyproducts! I will be securing the rest of my home very shortly.
My kids were eventually strong enough to get their hands into the slack between the two stickers and pull them off, but they were much older by then so not worried about them getting into things they shouldn’t.
I love these locks because they are sturdy and they stick well to the furniture. I’ve had another competitor product that gave me nothing but trouble and wasted a lot of money buying duble sided tape for because it kept on coming off. I’ve had no problems with this product and I regret not buying it from the begining.
These safety locks are brilliant, so easy to fit & simple for adults to unlock. My 18month old twins haven’t been able to get into a single drawer/cupboard or fridge since fitting them(which takes less than a minute to do). We’ve purchased more for their grandparents house too as they work so well and keep them extra safe.
The cupboard locks arrived really quickly. I bought these as I’d bought a cheap set from the shop and realised they had to be screwed in and didn’t want to damage my cupboard so purchased these instead for the little extra, and they are definately worth the difference! The glue on the straps are strong so have held well and not budged! The adjustable straps are great aswell as it allows you to position as needed. Easy enough for an adult to open but I don’t think a child would be able to do it with fiddling. Will definately buy more of the need arises.
I’ve tried a few stick on baby locks as we can’t use the screw on ones, most of them have very weak sticky tabs and fall off either instantly or after one or two pulls from a heavy handed 15 month old. These are fantastic though, he has tugged, pulled and bashed them and they haven’t budged! We’ve used them on cupboards, draws and even the toilet seat! Would definitely recommend.

You can make it longer or shorter based on the place you want to use, and it has 3M tape to stick.

We bought these, to keep our 10months DS away from the drawers. As he now figured out how to open them, but luckily not have trapped his fingers in between the drawers as of yet. For now he isn’t able to open with the safety cupboard straps. It is easy to install and easy to open for adults, once figured out where to place your fingers to unlock. I normally don’t do reviews, but this thing is just amazing for my bengal cats! I was looking for something removable to secure windows and I decided to try the baby cupboard locks. Oh man, they are amazing! They are just right length for my cats to not to squeeze through, but long enough so I can still have some fresh air in the flat I thought I’d have to get extra secure double sided adhesive tape, but it turnes out the already attached one is strong enough!!
Totally recommended for cat owner who doesn’t want to drill into windows 🙂
I decided to buy some for myself now that my 10 months old favourite activity is to empty everything from any cupboard he can open.
It took me about 3 minutes in total to do everywhere which needed one, so they are super easy to install. For durability, we will have to see how long they last, but where I work has both a 1 and 2 year old who love to pull on them and so far only one has come loose!
I really like the way they look too, they really aren’t ugly nor are they massively bulky
No mucking about with these strap locks. Just peel and stick and you’re good to go. The 3M adhesive strips are uber strong and can withstand all the pulling might that my 15 month old daughter can muster, which is suprisingly a lot!!!
You can easily cut the excess strap to make it a bit neater (see pic) which is handy for people with mild ocd like myself.
Overall really good product, does everything I wanted it to do and does it well. If you’re looking for something to secure your cupboards from you baby/toddler. If you’re not then I’m not really sure why you are reading this review or looking at this product in general.
Really really happy right now. Our kids have left our small upright freezer open accidentally several times now and caused the food inside to go off. This looks like it will help ensure it stays closed and be noticeable if it isn’t. I don’t know how long each one will last but as I am only using one at a time hopefully by the time I run out the kids will have learned how to close the door.
These cupboard strap locks are great! I have a 10 month old & a 22 month old, both of whom like to try & open every cupboard & drawer they can get their hands on. We have tried previous cupboard locks which either broke, weren’t child proof or were really hard for my husband & I to open & close but these booboo cupboard locks are impossible for the kids to open but easy for the adults to use. Would highly recommend this product.
I also have a sump/cupboard under my fish-tank, which is an aluminium structure and all of the previous clip-on or screw fix devices have been nimbly removed by my 1 yr old or unable to be fixed due to the material, these bad boys have not only secured both but have stayed in place and far outshone any previous attempt to secure, the added bonus being these will be removed without mark when finished with!

Rented house so can’t use traditional screw in locks. Very inquisitive 16 month old who is into everything! Worn out picking up entire boxes of cornflakes and having pit lids broken not to mention the stress thst she may injure herself. Find these v easy to use once fitted. Had previously used ikea stick on locks which were fine these were cheaper better and look nicer in my kitchen!
The instructions are really easy to follow which helped me enormously. It took 5 minutes to install and no tools required at all either which is perfect. One concern I did have is that my toddler might have a ‘Hercules’ moment and pull the strap off, however I did a tester and the 3M tape is incredibly strong so no problems there!
I’m also incredibly cautious on safety standards and these meet the necessary regulations, which put my mind at ease.
I had one spare strap so we used it on the toilet seat, works a charm!
