So good are these leaf blowers I’ve actually now just bought my second one of them. The first one I bought four years ago is still going strong. At the time I bought my first one four years ago I also purchased a second battery with it. Now that I’ve bought this second one means I’ve now got a third, brand new battery. Mind you, the first two batteries are still going great. I love these blowers because they’re so light and handy for getting me into tight spaces, like behind our garden shed and behind hedges too. Ok I get about 20 minutes out of each battery before needing to replace it. But I can get a lot of leaves cleared away in those 20 minutes. I’ve also bought myself a Bosch corded/electric blower too for the bigger jobs which is really powerful. By the middle of December all those leaves are gone for another year. Everywhere is clean and tidy, as if not even a single leaf had ever fallen. I also bought the Bosch cordless grass strimmer which uses the very same 36v batteries so happy days. Bosch products have really helped make my life a thousand times easier when it comes to keeping our garden tidy. Even our hedge cutters are now Bosch Cordless too. All purchased from Amazon Prime. I rate this leaf blower very highly as I do my other Bosch products. Excellent service and products from the seller. Very, very pleased with my purchase.

I bought this item with 2 batteries because it is wireless and rechargeable with variable speed knowing that the blowing power (not suction power) is not as strong as the wired product that I have by the same brand. I would recommend this item based on how I use it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersA great piece of kit with only one very slight drawback. Its minor and once you understand what is happening it’s not an issue. When you fit the battery, it slides on easy and there is a click the battery locks into place and you can only remove it with the battery release button but the blower will not run!! The battery has to be pushed forward as far as it can go then all is fine.
This is NOT covered in the instructions and Bosch Technical did not realise what was happening when I spoke to them but it is a minor thing and should not put you off buying what is a good tool.

My wife is very comfortable using the 2.0 Ah leaf blower. It is less weight, less cumbersome than its corded predecessor which was tiresome, and and handles the leaf litter of a medium/large garden very well.
    Well designed and engineered produc

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI love this leaf blower. We previously had a 2 in 1 vacuum and leaf blower (different brand) that was ridiculously heavy and a pain to use so I ended up doing it manually. This leaf blower is light and easy to use. I will be buying another battery (our garden is probably medium sized), sometimes it runs out and I have to finish the job using a broom or rake.

Having researched blowers decided to go for the Bosch cordless leaf blower as I have other products from this manufacturer. The battery alone is selling at 99. It is easy to assemble and charges quickly giving a long time of use. Not only used as a leaf blower but keeps my patio clean. Also handy for starting the charcoal on the BBQ and to keep it going. I also used it to clean my front driveway, very handy product.

I read plenty of reviews for this and cheaper versions, and decided on this as we have a lot of leaves and wanted to make sure it’s auction was powerful enough.

    I wasn’t disappointed.

It can suck up massive piles of leaves without problems (as long as you don’t shove the end right in to the centre of the pile). I’ve even used it on wet leaves and it still works.

Chopping function works well and definitely reduces the volume collected. Didn’t struggle with the occasional branch too (which was a problem on a lot of the cheaper models according to reviews)

Came overnight, which was handy as we didn’t expect our last one to die!
It is lighter and easier to use, the downside is that it does need to be re-charged and we have a large garden.
So we have to pace ourselves and at our age that is just fine.
Would not suit a commercial gardener, but it is up to moving a large quantity of leaves.
Useful not to have a trailing cable, so we can get onto the front pavement.

I was very surprised and delighted when I unboxed this blower with how small and light it was compared to my old petrol blower I bought it to replace. Full power is great and easily moved wet leaves. 1/2 speed ample to blow dry leaves. Have not run it till empty so cannot guarantee it lasts that long but easily ran for 15 minutes. Would highly recommend. Our garden is of moderate size and the blower coped well.

I have a leaf blower already, but it is mains powered, heavy and extremely loud. You would think this means it’s great but it’s not it’s hopeless.
I decided to buy this as I’m renewing all my garden machines.
The batteries are interchangeable so this seemed logical.
My first use I cleared my 14m x 5m wet grass of leaves and 40m squared path/patio. I swapped the 2ah battery for my spare 2ah but the second one still had power left once finished.
Today I managed the same plus 40m squared driveway. The battery was used in a strimmer first then the blower.
Today the grass was dry and just cut which meant less leaves and effort but still an impressive amount done. (Filled 40l bucket)
Yes there may be better ones? But this is quieter than expected, very efficient, fairly light and compact.
Which is every thing my other one wasn’t.
I’m pleased with this. I’m pleased with the strimmer I bought at the same time. I will be buying the lawn mower early next year.
This will also give me another battery too.

This is an excellent product and very good value for the money. It easily deals with leaves and garden debris and will collect a large volume of stuff before you need to empty the bag.

I have only used the suction function, not the blower, but it is far better than comparable products that I have used in the past.

You can vary the suction power using a knob under the handle, but even on a moderate power setting, the suction is sufficient to lift pretty much anything as long as it is dry. On full power it almost sucks grass up by the roots, it’s that good.

Be aware that when the machine is delivered, it comes almost completely pre-assembled for the blower function, so if you want to use the suction function instead, you will have to remove the blower fan (this is easily done) and attach the suction cone and fan.

The cable is a good length but if you have a moderately-sized or large garden, you will probably require an extension lead.

The machine is relatively heavy, so if you intend to use it for more than a few minutes at a time I would recommend putting on the shoulder strap rather than simply holding it by the handles.

Overall this does exactly what it says on the box and I have no hesitation recommending it.

Excellent leaf blower which is just starting it’s second Autumn. Apart from a largish drive and quite a few yards of brick paths which is easy work for this device to clear, we also have a lot of shingle in places, and using this blower on shingle areas works beautifully, much better than trying to use a wire rake or brush. It’s very powerful on full, only need 1 or 2 setting. It’s not quite so brilliant on grass particularly if damp or wet, it works but actually prefer a wire rake. It scrunches DRY leaves nicely.

Just purchased so this review is after 1st time use. Reasonably easy to build (need to follow the instructions!) Used to pick up pretty wet leaves from paths and grass, as well as pine needles. The machine had no trouble at all, I only needed to turn the power up to halfway. Some people might find it a bit heavy but with the shoulder strap on it was absolutely fine for me. Feels really solid and well built. Bag was easy to detach and empty. The leaves had really been shredded into very small pieces. So on first use I am delighted.

his is a good piece of kit, with plenty of power for blowing and suction . Perfect for dealing with autumn leaves, which are quickly reduced to mulch sized bits.
The only negatives are 1. switching from the blower to the vacuum function is a bit of a performance. 2. operating the power switch requires some dexterity . 3. It is heavy, so not recommended for anyone without strong hands

I love Bosch kit – it is always brilliant and well made, and this is no exception….and great value for money at the redu7ced price I got it for !! Assembling the vacuum tube was the only pain, but once assembled you never need to dismantle it again. The rest of the kit goes together really easily, and swapping between vacuum and blower is dead easy. The blower power, even on the lowest setting, is awesome – not tried it yet on full power but I can imagine !! The vacuum is just as good on low power and I did try it sucking up leaves from my lawn on full power – it almost removed the turf !!…..and it shreds the leaves into tiny bits all ready for the compost heap. No surprise to me that this kit gets top marks from a lot of review sites – it deserves it.

This replaces my last one that suddenly stopped working and couldn’t be repaired.
It works fine but the collection bag has a tie on the zip that trails on the ground. Because I’m not very tall I keep stepping on it and it opens the bag and covers me in dust. I’m going to have to remove the tie. I didn’t have this problem with my old vacuum.

does the job very well and is quiet. Two negative points – it is heavy though otherwise comfortable to hold, and changing from blower to vac is a bit awkward – the srew retainers have long threads and it seem to take a long time to slacken and tighten them.. That said I would buy it again.

Have always used Flymo garden vacs before. The first lasted 15 years or more with no problems but the later models are heavier and the collecting bags much more difficult to get back on. I have had the motors burn out on two in under 5 years the last in under 18 months. So having used many other Bosch products and never had problems that were not quickly resolved by their customer service team (Flymo appear to have outsourced customer service to a third party which I found impossible to get hold of!) I bought this item. So far so good. Lighter, quieter, easier to use and an extended guarantee if registered with Bosch that unlike with Flymo I have confidence will be honoured if needed.

This replaces an older Bosch model and I am very impressed with its suction power which I hadn’t realised was variable so a plus there. Easy to assemble although I haven’t tried the blower as I already have a petrol leaf blower so won’t need to use the one on this model.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersWe bought this upgraded more power model just to make sure that it was easier to pick up wet leaves as some people have said that the lower model doesn’t do it very well. This is really powerful and has blown everything off of our patio that includes all of the bits of leaf and berries that have fallen off of the shrubs.
We are really pleased with it and wish we had bought it sooner – well actually later because it was in the prime day sale but still glad we got it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersFor a small battery operated machine I didnt expect much in terms of sheer power. However this has met and surpassed all my expectations so lets put down what it can do and cannot do.
Its good at clearing paths and moving freshly cut grass after cutting the lawn or clearing up after hedger cutting and its good at herding fallen leaves wet or dry and small tree debris after storms etc.. Its not good at moving leaf litter which has fallen and consolodated into the ground. It will move it but its not powerfull enough to move large quantities of it. If you want to do stuff like that buy a petrol leaf blower as you will be disappointed by any electric version. More power makes the battery bigger and heavier or your dragging a cable.

Very satisfied. After reading many reviews and comparing many products, have to say very satisfied and this product exceeded expectations. Apart from weight and manoeuvrability, main concerns were power and battery life. Admittedly, our garden is on the small side, but this product does the job just fine and works up to 3 time’s before needing a recharge.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersWe have quite a collection of Bosch products that all use the same 18v or 36 v batteries and each one has proved to be a top-class product. Yes, we are Bosch fans!

This 36v leaf blower is, however, a bit of a compromise and, although we really do like it, if you are thinking of buying one, I think you need to know what you are getting. Compared with the class-leading power delivered by the Worx WG584E 40v leaf blower, for example, this one is noticeably less powerful; in fact, the Worx blower is like a hurricane in comparison. But does that matter? Well, in some ways, not at all; bit in some ways, well, it depends on you!

It certainly doesn’t matter in the sense that the Bosch does do exactly what it is designed to do: it clears dry leaves, and does so very effectively. But it will matter if you want a hurricane-force blower, as, if you are expecting that, you’ll feel a bit let down. But keep in mind the compromise and the laws of science: the Worx battery on full power lasts a measly 10 minutes, whereas the Bosch lasts well over half an hour.

Also, the Bosch is very attractively styled, is very compact, and is balanced so well that its weight isn’t really noticeable in the hand. Its smaller nozzle however, means that the power is directed over a smaller area compared with the wide open nozzle of the Worx model. This means it takes a bit more effort and time to do the job. The smaller shape, however, also makes the Bosch useful in more places. We use ours to blow the dust from the car before hoovering, or even to dust behind radiators and around our TV and piano.

So, it’s a compromise, but in the end, I think the Bosch will win the day for most uses and most people. We like it a lot.

The main plus points for me are: quietness, lightweight, adjustable power (suck and blow)
On the negative side I feel that switching between blowing and vacuuming could be simpler but hopefully this is something that I will become more proficient with. My previous tool was a Flymo which was much heavier and noisier but a simple flick of a lever changed modes.
Overall, I feel that this was an excellent purchase and like most things, a compromise but one that works really well for me.

Great garden vac (much better than my previous one – A cheap one made by a company Id never heard of). Easy to assembly, seems well made with a decent quality collection bag (my last one fell to bits). Adjustable suction power is also a great feature. I have a lot of pea shingle borders in my garden which I usually have to rake, or pickup leaves by hand to stop the shingle from getting sucked up & damaging the vac. This Bosch vac with variable suction power now lets me collect leaves etc over the shingle without any real issue. My previous garden vac would also regularly block during collection – This Bosch one did not block up once when I used it last week. Its fairly quiet to use and is comfortable (with a decent shoulder strap). I’m really pleased I bought this item. Its made tidying up my garden much easier & quicker.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWe already have one of these, which we bought about 2 years ago. It is very easy to handle and does a very good job of clearing leaves etc. from drive, slabs etc. The battery on full power lasts about 20 minutes. We considered getting another battery to have ready to use, but decided that for the difference in price we could have another blower, so that we can both work on the tasks at the same time! We are both in our 70’s, so heavy machinery and tools are not for us – this is ideal. We do have a large garden, so need all the help we can get..

The garden tidy is a good product, though possibly a bit fiddly to re-assemble and then disassemble for storage. When shredding leaf matter does indeed seem to stick to the impeller. However, during motor operation it will fly off the impeller into the bag, hence this is not a problem — just remember to clean the impeller when you have completely finished using the garden tidy. As is to be reasonably expected, I would advise against sticking the nozzle into a mound of dead leaves (irrespective of whether they are dry, damp or wet), as that will result in blockages if using the shredding/suction action. When faced with a mound of leaves I simply sweep the nozzle at the edge and allow leaves to be gradually drawn up. No problem!
