Having a removable chuck to leave a hex driver socket would have been nice.
But other than that, will do most except the toughest jobs around the home.
Used all manner of corded and cordless,36v-18v in all the mainstream manufacturers ie Makita DeWalt Milwaukee but none of the above cut it but Bosch professional line.. WAY OUT THERE A CUT ABOVE THE REST
It might just be me but all the screws around my place seem to be in dark places so I was mortified, when my old driver needed replacing, to see that the light which comes on to let you see what you’re doing, was missing from many of the replacement models. Anyway, I’m back in my comfort zone now.
I am very impressed with this drill driver. I was about to buy a cheaper one but after doing some research I decided that this one is exactly what I need. I am really glad I did . It is really well made and it is a joy to use. Everything works very well and it is intuitive to use . Plenty of settings , powerful enough for most jobs , very light and nicely designed handle. I used it a lot as a screw driver and I was very pleased. 30NM of torque is enough for most jobs. Great product and very well made
Have wanted a small but powerful drill/driver just to use around the workshop and this was just the ticket. Quite heavy which gives you confidence in the build quality and powerful enough for most jobs unless you want to bore holes in concrete walls all day. One thing to be aware of for those invested in the Bosch L-Boxx cases, Bosch support have confirmed there is no moulded tray insert compatible with this drill seems quite the oversight but a small issue.
Overall it’s a good drill. It’s light but still packs a reasonable enough punch for most home DIY jobs. Only knock on it is that battery life isn’t the best, but it’s still reasonable though and it came with a spare which is good.
Very handy for smaller jobs around the house or in a garage. The kind of tool you’d use for ‘I need a few holes in my drywall / cabinet, pronto and faff-free’ but not for ‘I need a 2 inch wide hole through 4 inches of concrete’. Surprising amount of very smoothly delivered power in a tiny form facto
Nifty and mighty little 12V drill. As an installation technician this is one of my favourite tool. Dont need to carry around the chunky 18volt tools. I would recommend to get extra batteries. The charger is very compact too. Just get it and you will love it. Definitely great value for money.
After my Makita cordless drill/ driver stopped recharging many years ago, I stuck with a corded drill after a bad experience with a useless B&Q branded cordless drill/ driver. If I had realised how powerful this compact tool could be over an extended period of use, combined with the convenience of a keyless chuck, I would have bought this years ago. I look forward to an excuse to get this out for the next job. And the compact case it comes in is an added bonus
Perfect as a screwdriver, not the best as a drill, maybe a larger battery pack would help. It just doesn’t spin fast enough to drill into anything substantial, although with persistance on the hammer setting it can work with drywall.
Bought this on black Friday for a very good price but in the end returned for higher powered drill. This comes with two 12v 1.5a batters and a charger. The drill itself was good for various functions and has hammer function too. No problems with drill bits slipping out. Box a little less tough than I would like. Overall pleased but wanted more power.

I needed a smaller drill rather than the Bosch 18v I currently use. Although only 12v it has enough power for the jobs I use it for. It’s smaller and light enabling you to get into smaller spaces. Great produc
I have moved in an unfurnished house and I needed a power full tool to help me assemble the new furniture. This drill has been extremely helpful and reliable. It charges easily and fast and the battery lasts long enough to finish my projects. It is lightweight and I had no issues so far manoeuvring it. The whole kit comes with a nice case that makes it easy to organise everything and carry around. I would recommend this kit to anyone if they look for a quality tool and it is a must have in all homes because you never know when it will come in handy.

I bought this because of smaller size to use at home I already have normal size cordless drill and Bosch 12w is perfect for drilling and screw driver thanks
Great little drill, handy for lighter jobs and not too big for assembling some ikea type furniture. Obviously doesn’t have the power of 18V systems but very useful for everyday stuff up to about 8mm in concrete.
I bought when Amazon had one of their sales and paid less than the price of an inferior Bosch green model with 1 battery.
his was bought for xmas gift but have tried it and it works ok I have got a bosch jig saw approx 15years old and still going strong hope this drill will be the same
I work as a handyman and use this for the majority of my screw driving applications as the torque settings can be adjusted for quick building of flat packs etc. Took a bit of getting used to the light only coming on when you have depressed the trigger, but with practice you can have the light on and no drill by gently pulling the trigger part way. I have used it as a drill when travelling light but for me it’s main strengths are its excellent screwing performance, light weight, compactness and balance. Highly recommended if these or your priorities and ideal if you have problems with your wrists etc.

This is the old model it does not have battery indicator that’s why it was the price disappointed but my own fault it will do but will always be second best and battery life is not impressive that’s why you need battery life indicator I would advise if you are thinking of buying one get the newer model wood battery indicator you’ll need i

I regretted buying this the moment I opened the case and picked up the drill. The case feels very flimsy and doesn’t hold the contents very securely. The trigger in the drill is also very flimsy and my initial thought was I’ve had cheap drills in the past that are better made than this. I expected more from a Bosch pro range and was disappointed. As others have commented on, the chuck does loosen over time and the bit drops out. An annoyance when using it around the home but I can see it being a real pain when it happens on site. That said the more I use it the more I love it. It’s surprisingly powerful for a 12v, is comfortable to use and the batteries seem to last forever. I use mine primerily as a screwdriver as I have more powerful drills for that job and if you can accept its failings it’s a great drill/driver. I would only use it for light work though. Drilling or screwing anything over 2 inches deep though and you’ll need something more powerful.

This is a great lightweight drill worth every penny. Battery life is excellent and a spare is included. There are some cheaper ones out there but this is a high quality piece of kit you’ll be using for years to come. Highly recommend.

Works really well, easy to use. Compact so gets into small places and battery seems to last a good while.
The quality of Bosch is very good. Everything works perfectly.

Very happy with this product, light to use. Hope the battery lasts well
Great little drill/driver. Easy operation, ideal for repetitive small jobs.

Very nice, was able to fin inside a slit window recess that my power drill could not, to fit some blinds.
Comes with two batteries, a nice idea.
