I already have a couple of Bosch pro power tools that Share a single battery so the fact that this came with 2 batteries and a charger made this worth the purchase.

Lightweight, easy to use, has an LED light ideal if you’re in tight spaces with limited visibility. If you’ve never used a Power drill/driver before, I highly recommend this Bosch product.
Bought this drill as the battery is integral to the handle allowing better access than some other drills. used to build raised beds of old railway sleepers and drill holes in casks to make planters with no trouble
This is just what I was looking for, a small drill for everyday use. Lightweight, powerful with a lot of speed adjustment so ideal for screws as well as drilling. Really happy with this product.
Bought this to fit my Toolbox fits perfectly, and now let’s me take my larger dewalt one out, it does what I needed and more, its size is great and not much difference between it and the dewalt recommend this small and compact cordless drill.
Excellent- Lightweight, yet powerful – this is the second of these I have bought. Does most of the screw driving I need – will drive a 3.5 inch screw easily. It is great for light ‘hammer’ jobs such as rail plugs.
It’s not designed to do heavy duty hammer drilling – so don’t criticise it for that.
Small and powerful does thr same job as a bigger drill excellent if your working at height or on ladders you can slot it in your belt or hold it in your pocket.

Nice piece of kit. Replaces my power drill of 10 years plus. Like the design which makes it so comfortable to use. Not too heavy. One battery pack came fully charged while the other required a full charge. Not a issue. Happy with the purchase.

I asked my son for one for Christmas. Unfortunately, the one he bought did not come with the batteries. I took his one back and bought this one, which was only slightly more than the one he bought. I could not believe the price and it came with two batteries, excellent!
I’ve had this for over a year now, and used it frequently.
It’s a great little drill, very useful for smaller projects. It can handle a surprising ammount of abuse.

This thing is incredible. Feels small in the hand but it is really powerful and effective, totally capable. I’m erecting faster than ever before. Even my wife is able to use it.
Solid and as 12v’s go its pokey enough. Battery life is superb. I bought mine 4 months ago and whilst it doesn’t get a lot of use, just general DIY, the batteries hold their charge even though its stored in a cold garage

Great for DIY around the house. The battery charge is impressive and the slim design does help. Until now I didn’t find anything it couldn’t do (compared with the old style version), but again I’m not using it for building projects

What I have found is that it’s great for driving screws and removing screws from wood, but probably not more than 3inch screws. Anything bigger and you’ll want an impact driver if you’re hanging doors, erecting fencing or building decking I would think. It works perfectly well dor drilling into wood and plasterboard but not for concrete walls. So great for round the house DIY – cabinets, wardrobes, light fixtures – but you’ll need a bigger heavier drill if you are drilling concrete walls eg to hang shelves, install aerials or pipes or something like that. Hence why I think that a Bosch Pro tool for under a 100 is generally good value for money. You don’t want to pay too much because you will probably also need a second drill for heavier work. The only annoying thing I have found is that the chuck can come untightened when I am removing batches of screws… but I couldn’t be sure that this wasn’t just my own ineptitude lol

So light, small and easy to handle. I can use it in tight spaces. I don’t expect it to do all jobs (I have heavier kit for that). The box is a disappointment, everything except the drill falls about in it and it lost a star because it needs a belt hook.
Two reasons there already, because it’s not Made in China. It’s had good use in the last three months, and so far it’s been sturdy and reliable. The extra battery is very handy, although a recharge using the supplied charger doesn’t take long. Of course, it has limited torque but it handles my household tasks well which include drilling into masonry. It comes in a solid carry case with room for all those screw and drill bits. All I need now is a holster!
Was a present for me.
I like the new model, higher voltage, hammer facility as well as drill or screwdriver. Can’t fault it. Sturdy carry case, spare battery and charger. All a growing diy’er or hobbyist needs.
I can only compare to my 20yr old standard (Green) Bosh cordless. Battery life is much better probably 3x if not more.
If I could have got the parts for my old one I would probably still use it given the light DIY duties I assign it to.
I guess it’s handy to have the proper designated functions of Drill, Screw and hammer but in all reality I used my old Bosh drill setting for these purposes anyhow.
I think as long as you are aware of the limitations of the product e.g. I wouldn’t use beyond 8mm bits for masonry and you need to take your time.
Other than that it’s a good quality “light-weight” tool for light-weight work.
When the work gets tough I bring out my 30yr old wired Bosch hammer drill.

It has a spare rechargeable battery so you can replace it as soon as you run out and put the old one on charge. I like that with a simple push to left/right on handle slot changes the direction of rotation, super convenient. And if you push the slot to the middle it automatically applies the safety lock, which is really reassuring to use when you’re changing drill bits. Really well designed and handy for all sorts of DIY jobs around the house. Both drill bits and screwdrivers worked well.

Great compact drill for smaller jobs around the home. Box with drill, two batteries and charger is all I needed. Up and running in around 3 hours charging time. Various settings for screw driver, drill and hammer options along with degrees of speed control. Useful power in a nice small pacakge. Small battery also possible to use in other Bosch Pro devices, very useful
Been building a 20foot x 9 foot shed, the Bosch GSB 120, did all it was asked to do.
I read a few comments regarding problems fixing 4″ screws, I used lots of 4″ screws, those that met a little resistance I took out and dipped in washing up liquid then drove them home with no trouble.
I`m told scraping screws with soap works as well, I wonder if WD 40 does the trick, but I suppose any lubricant is effective!
I don`t know how I`ve managed without this little marvel for so long.
Very versatile drill, if your just using for short, small jobs the battery supplied will be okay.
If more prolonged use then I would advise buying the 3A battery.
It’s more powerful than it looks and will drill masonry with ease.
It fits in my Vito pro bag like a glove and i would not be without it in my day to day work.
I’am very happy with mine so happy i bought 3 of them.
Wish I’d bought this ages ago, it fits in my tool bag great especially with it’s slimline handle and battery, not bulky at all. Perhaps wish it had slightly more torque but thats asking a bit much for such a small lightweight product. I does what I expected it to do and especially for the money. Would definitely recommend

Was a little concerned about the size of the battery, but this was unfonded, as the battery and drill gives a good performance.
I bought this 12V Bosch drill-driver to replace my older 10.8V version (which I’d absent-mindedly left out in the rain and couldn’t repair). Unfortunately the 12V-charger unit ‘died’ after charging the two batteries. Fortunately the charger from the older 10.8V kit charges the 12V batteries (but probably not fully) — and the two 10.8V batteries also work in the new 12V drill-driver. So now I have 4 functioning batteries using an older charger. Good enough for me. I haven’t bothered to try an replace the new-non-functioning charger because I live in Portugal, the kit came from the U.K, and Brexit is nearly upon us.

General home DIY jobs, good for small jobs rather get its big brother out. Excellent speed control via switch for starting to position drilling a hole or using screws
I had one with another small brand like tac or something like that, now I am angry on me why did not I buy this one at first? This is really much more better than other small Chinese brands, the torque and power and gears for different purposes , the worst thing about this is that you have to buy drill bits and screw bits separately
As I got it out the box to test it I was surprised to Finn it stalling after a few seconds but this turned out to be only a small amount of charge in the battery after giving it a full charge it worked very well it is light and powerful enough to get all the jobs done you require of it perfect for all the small diy mods
Bought this to compliment my18v pro set. Much easier to use above head height, I’ve just lined a ceiling with plasterboard and it worked a charm. The 1.5a batteries have a surprising amount of life in them, very impressed.
This drill/screwdriver is awesome. I recently move to a new place and had to buy all furniture (bed, sofa, tv unit, office desk, chair, etc) and with this tool it was really easy to assemble everything myself.
A great battery driver, with the versatility of being powerful enough for drilling wood and plasterboard. I don’t expect the hammer action to be powerful enough for brick or concrete with a 12v battery although I have not used that yet. The LED light is handy although the chuck blocks it a little. The battery charger is quick and it’s very handy to have two batteries as it means you can carry on working without an enforced break

This drill is for use by my Daughter. She has just started DIY and requested a drill for birthday. My concern was the drill’s ability to drill through concrete, which it did with our problem providing you have the correct drill bit. Nice and light weight and small enough to work in confined spaces. Would buy again without hesitation. A great buy.

Bought to replace a Bosch green 18v cordless drill that had failed due to no fault of its own. What can I say, but this has been an excellent purchase. It has always done what has been asked from it. So much so that I have since purchased other 12v Bosch blue tools , such as the circular saw and jigsaw. There are better drills in the range, but for normal DIY, this is more than adequate.
Perfect it’s just what I wanted, working on maintenance at the moment didn’t need a big 18v this drill is the job light and small enough to do them little jobs you need only something handy to tighten up a couple of screws. A1

Quality Bosch drill driver ,powerfull and easy to use.Its kinda like going back to the drills we used in the 70s-80s only same power but smaller and has a light and lightnes to it. Bosch quality.
Its lightweight and powerful, batteries last a good length of time depending on what youre doing. Does exactly what bosch pro should do. Its so handy for small jobs or as a second cordless for big jobs.
I wanted a small light weight drill for doing work over head and this has not disappointed, used it to put up curtain rails and to put together furniture in double quick speed. Would highly recommend

I bought the DIY version of this and was very happy, but the battery started to fail. That one did not have a replaceable battery so I purchased this. You do need to make sure the spare battery is fully charged because the battery life isn’t magnificent. If you were on a job where you needed this all day you’d use both batteries. Slightly heavier than the DIY version. Otherwise, all good.
After much research I decided to go ahead with this drill. So far pleased with the choice. I didn’t want something too heavy. My only reservation was with the 12v power as opposed to many which are 18v. But so far it’s been fine on masonry, wood. Haven’t tried on metal or wood. Come with two batteries. Fast charge. Registration with Bosch website gives you 3yr warranty which is a great for peace of mind. I would recommend this for all round DIY jobs.
As this is the first time buying bosch (blue) tools I wasn’t sure what to expect from such a small tool but just like the cabled version it seems to have plenty of power to handle most jobs on or off site.
I used to buy another well named brand but will buy bosch from now on..
I liked this so much I bought a cordless jig saw to go with this . But for what you pay, you are getting a powerful drill driver with two batteries and a charger, whats not to like about that..
Will deffinately be buying/replacing all my old tools with bosch from here on in..
Great build quality (makes dewalt look rubbish) but the 1.5 ah battery struggles to put a 80mm screw in top speed (no problem in 1st) however bang in the 3ah battery this is an animal and it can be worn in a holster on your tool belt. That’s a game changer.
The 12v options from Bosch are lightweight and powerful, and are well priced for the options you get this one.
I needed a smaller, portable drill for occasional day to day use that wasn’t an 18V monster – this unit is perfect for that, but I have found for continuous, all day everyday use its not quite up to the task.
Amazing! Can’t fault it one bit,
For its size its way more versatile than anything else I have, for the quick easy jobs,
I wouldn’t use it for drilling into brick walls all the time, but it will do it no problem

Still going strong, has done many varied jobs, including 42 holes into brick for a large bookcase. Rarely has it been found lacking, albeit I would put some of it down to buying decent drill bits and driver heads.

Handy small drill that’s easy to carry in with you for small jobs like installing light fittings. Would have given 5 stars if chuck head was a little stronger at holding drill bits.
Light and easy to use, fits comfortably in the hand I have big hands but they are good for smaller hands as well, my wife says she will be happy to be using this in the future as it is not too big and clunky like some. The two batteries are a great bonus for those bigger jobs. Happy I bought it!

I got this when it was 50 and it is well worth it. I love that it is lightweight and easy to use. I was worried about the small batteries but there are two so when one runs out you can pop the other one on charge and I rarely use up one battery in one sitting.
As a woman living on her own, I was looking for a drill/screwdriver that would suit general household diy but wasn’t too heavy and not too expensive. Bosch have a good reputation as a brand and this drill didn’t let them down. If like me, you’re a bit of a newby with drills etc, don’t expect fabulous instructions and there’s no drill bits which come with it. You’ll need to buy a set separately. I struggled at first with getting the chuck to grip but got it right eventually.

As a woman living on her own, I was looking for a drill/screwdriver that would suit general household diy but wasn’t too heavy and not too expensive. Bosch have a good reputation as a brand and this drill didn’t let them down. If like me, you’re a bit of a newby with drills etc, don’t expect fabulous instructions and there’s no drill bits which come with it. You’ll need to buy a set separately. I struggled at first with getting the chuck to grip but got it right eventually.

You never go wrong with Bosch products. This is another winner for those looking for a drill to take care of light work.
It’s small but feels strong and durable. A perfect fit in the hand. It comes with two batteries which charge from empty to full very quickly. The lithium-ion type batteries keep their charge for a long time, so you don’t need to worry about power when left unused.
Although it’s only 12V, the torque is great. I have not used it for anything but wood, probably brick drilling will require something more significant. But for light house work, this is the perfect drill
This is a nice bit of kit (got this on deal of the day) this is a great drill fits in your hand a treat, great for those confined spaces this is when you need a stubby grip handle, all the same features as a 18v drill but more compact, forward, reverse, hammer action, drill driving, and screw/driving, plus 2 speeds, have used it a few times now and I must say very impressed ( Bosch have always been good quality tools ) must of used 200 screws by now and the battery’s x 2 keep on going, (if your looking for a compact 12v drill give this one a try). Please note there are 2 battery’s in the case 1 is missing in my picture that’s because I’m using the second one in my impact driver.

A good drill that I have used to drill into external and internal brickwork. Bosch have a flexikit drill that I have used that felt better balanced in the hand but this one is a lot cheaper and dies what I need it to do.
First thing after looking at some of the questions mine came with a light. the drill it self is quality maybe not as the power of my 12v Milwaukee however it cost a 3rd of the price. All i would say is if you live in a modern house were as all the materials are easy to drill/ drive this is great.

I like the new model, higher voltage, hammer facility as well as drill or screwdriver. Can’t fault it. Sturdy carry case, spare battery and charger. All a growing diy’er or hobbyist needs.
If I could have got the parts for my old one I would probably still use it given the light DIY duties I assign it to.
I guess it’s handy to have the proper designated functions of Drill, Screw and hammer but in all reality I used my old Bosh drill setting for these purposes anyhow.
I think as long as you are aware of the limitations of the product e.g. I wouldn’t use beyond 8mm bits for masonry and you need to take your time.
Other than that it’s a good quality “light-weight” tool for light-weight work.
When the work gets tough I bring out my 30yr old wired Bosch hammer drill.
I read a few comments regarding problems fixing 4″ screws, I used lots of 4″ screws, those that met a little resistance I took out and dipped in washing up liquid then drove them home with no trouble.
I`m told scraping screws with soap works as well, I wonder if WD 40 does the trick, but I suppose any lubricant is effective!
I don`t know how I`ve managed without this little marvel for so long.
If more prolonged use then I would advise buying the 3A battery.
It’s more powerful than it looks and will drill masonry with ease.
It fits in my Vito pro bag like a glove and i would not be without it in my day to day work.

Was a little concerned about the size of the battery, but this was unfonded, as the battery and drill gives a good performance.

It comes in a slim carry case complete with charger and spare battery. There is plenty of room in the case to carry drill bit and other accessories.

Main use as a driver, one battery lasts me about a week of intermittent use. Both batteries were enough to drill all pilot holes and most of the screws when insulating my garage. Had to bring out the impact driver for the longer/bigger screws but this held up very respectably.
As a driver it’s great, drilling small holes even better. Keep it on hand for almost everything these days as it’s so lightweight! Its hammer function is a joke, but even larger combi drills hammer function is terrible compared to an SDS drill. Stick to its drill/driver mode and its great. The torque settings allow for really fast assembly on plastic parts with metal screws without splitting the plastics.
Overall a fantastic little drill, battery life is great too.

I liked this so much I bought a cordless jig saw to go with this . But for what you pay, you are getting a powerful drill driver with two batteries and a charger, whats not to like about that..

I needed a smaller, portable drill for occasional day to day use that wasn’t an 18V monster – this unit is perfect for that, but I have found for continuous, all day everyday use its not quite up to the task.
Extra batter, no chuck-key required, torque adjustment and reverse option + automatic light pointing to where you work.
Quality of material is high and works wonderfully. High recommended.
