It’s quite light but perfect for adhoc cuts or cuts where you don’t want to run power cables or the weight of a 18v saw is too much. The saw is a touch underpowered and a slow cut but take you time and it does the job to perfection. Use a 6A cell if possible for maximum powe
This is so light and easy to keep under control it gets the most use despite having other circ saws at hand.
Has very little power so no good for thick or hard material but with a sharp blade it will cut 12mm ply ok and just cope with 18 if you take things gently (but to be clear it’s not powerful or fast enough for anything other than short cuts in wood over 10mm). The real benefit is using above your head or one-handed with arm outstreached which would be so much more dangerous with a heavyer and more powerful tool.

NB although nothing like a full sized saw it can still kick back so if you’re doing anything silly like I describe above please make sure you have a tight grip and other body parts are clear of the danger zone!!!
Bosch pro tool quality has been on the decline in recent years so I only bought this as I had the battery platform already.
On a 6.0AH battery this pathetic looking saw will rip 18mm ply with ease. Strangely my 18V equivalent struggled to compete.
I’m guessing the ultra thin blade is its secret.
Anyway definitely more useful than I initially presumed.
Bought this to cut down oversize board materials before transporting them but have began using it on a more regular basis on site. Particularly useful for straight cuts on laminate flooring with minimal splintering. The power is excellent for such a compact tool.
I wish I’d bought one of these years ago. Simple, accurate, sturdy and easy to use.
The circular saw is very good, I bought the saw without the battery pack as I already had the 2amp batteries with a drill. The 2amp batteries are fairly useless I was able to cut 8 roofing battens before it started to play up. I would recommend purchasing the 4 or 6amp batteries as these will keep the saw going most of the day.
Bought this to help with a kitchen install project at home, worked a treat.
I also in day to day life and an electrician and this will make lifting floor boards so much easier.
Well done Bosch another good handy little tool added to my vast array.
I’ve had this for a few months now and been happy with it overall. I do think it would be much more useful (for me at least) if it had a slightly bigger blade and depth of cut, even just 5mm more. Another thing to bear in mind is the blade spins somewhat slowly, and has a small diameter, resulting a low tooth velocity and accordingly a bit of a rough cut (almost like a hand saw). The flip side of the slow blade speed is it will cut full depth in hardwoods without stalling. The ergonomics are great when using the saw by itself, but the included accessories (guide rail adapter/fence and dust extractor port) aren’t very well designed.
Ottimo apparecchio molto utile per tagli veloci e precisi su materiale non troppo spesso.

Ich war skeptisch, ob diese kleine Kreissge wirklich als Ersatz fr meine Stichsge taugt, die ich bisher verwendet habe.
Aber da mit einer Stichsge, auch mit Anschlag, lngere gerade und senkrechte Schnitte nicht wirklich machbar sind (ich habe es jedenfalls bisher nicht hinbekommen), wollte ich etwas neues probieren, und da ich bereits einige Gerte der 12V-Serie hatte, fiel meine Wahl auf diese Akku-Kreissge.
Was soll ich sagen? Sie erfllt perfekt meine Anforderungen als Hobby-Heimwerker.
Besonders positiv hervorzuheben:
– extrem leise, kein Vergleich zu einer Stichsge
– selbst hrteres Holz (Buche, Eiche) schneidet sie mhelos
– zusammen mit einer Anschlagschiene gelingen gerade, saubere Schnitte ohne Probleme.
Einziger, winziger Kritikpunkt: es gibt keinen Feststellschalter, man muss den Schalter immer gedrckt halten, was beim Handling manchmal ein bisschen umstndlich ist. Ist aber nur eine Frage der Gewhnung.
Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!
Ich bin einfach nur begeistert, diese handliche kleine Handkreissge hat mir in kurzer Zeit groe Dienste geleistet. Ich empfehle den Einsatz von 6Ah Akkus. Top Gert fr den privaten Bastler.

Ich habe das Gert jetzt schon fr einige Projekte genutzt (mit dem zustzlich erworbenen Makita Sgeblatt) und kann nur positives berichten. Einfach ein super Gert, schn handlich und trotzdem leistungsstark (im Verhltnis zur Gre gesehen).
Wrde ich jederzeit wieder kaufen!
Was soll man sagen, nutze die fr kleinere Sgearbeiten und bin hoch zufrieden. Klasse Blatt dabei.

Die Sge wird zum Zurechtschneiden von 19 mm Fichtenbrettern verwendet. Hatte ursprnglich ein no name Produkt mit 600W kabelgebunden. Diese war eigentlich immer berfordert mit der Aufgabe und ging auch recht schnell kaputt.
Ersatz musste her. Nach langer Recherche fiel auf, dass Mini-Kreissgen in akzeptablen Preisbereich nur von no name Herstellern angeboten werden.
Ich bin dann bei dieser Bosch gelandet.
Beim Auspacken war ich etwas skeptisch. Recht einfache Winkeleinstellungen und Fhrung. Auch eine recht geringe Drehzahl der Sge fllt auf.
Umso begeisterter bin ich vom echten Einsatz. Die Sge ist sehr leise und schneidet wirklich hervorragend. Weit besser als mein alter 600W Kolben. Sehr gutes Handling und auch die Akku Standzeit ist gut. Ich verwende allerdings die 6Ah Akkus, ich denke darunter wird es schwierig. Einziger Kritikpunkt: eine Akkustandsanzeige direkt am Akku wre schn.
Habe mir diese Sge zugelegt, weil ich auf der Arbeit einige Bretter durchsgen muss, die ich ins Auto bekommen mchte. 12 Volt Akkus rein und ab, das Sgeblatt hat ab und zu blockiert. ein volles Akku reichte fr 8 Bretter 130 X 20 mm. Fr meine Zwecke vllig ausreichend.

Habe heute 16 Paletten so gesgt, da ich jeweils neun Bretter pro Palette sgen musste. Die Sge hat ich einmal blockiert und das Akku hat immer noch Kraft gehabt. Ein geniales Teil, Daumen hoch
Bin begeistert super handlich, Hohe Przision beim Arbeiten egal ob Laminat oder OSB Platten schneiden.
Fr OSB Platten, Bodendielen etc. perfekt geeignet. Da die Sge schn klein ist, gelingen auch sehr exakte Schnitte. Der kleine 2Ah Akku hlt erstaunlich lange (ca. 40 Bodendielen). Fazit: sehr zu empfehle

Der Gert ist fr den schnellen przisen Schnitt den ich frher mit der Stichsge gemacht htte. Funktioniert prima, ist robust und handlich.
Hab nicht die Welt erwartet.

Ging dich alles durch wie Butter.

Fr kleine und schnelle Arbeiten die perfekte Sge. Sie ist leicht und handlich und zieht gut durch Nadelholz. Hartholz muss ich noch testen. Von mir 5 Sterne.
Es macht richtig Spa damit zu arbeiten. Leicht, handlich und guter Schnitt. Terrassendielen aus Douglasie sind keine Herausforderung und ruckzuck auch der Lnge nach geschnitten. Fr den Hobbyhandwerker zu empfehlen.
Quite probably the best power tool I’ve bought ever!
Lightweight, easy to use and provides a great clean cut on MDF.
The only slight niggle is that setting the guide can be fiddly as the Allen screws that clamp it in place tend to cause the guide to move fractional as they are tightened.
On face value great value for money but as it was a body only tool, the cost increases quite a bit when you add the cost of a decent battery and charger which had to be purchased separately.
Just the right size for some of the smaller jobs, easy to use, great little tool.

I haven’t used it a lot to judge it, I will say one thing tho I expected the saw to run a lot faster than it does. Its OK with mdf and soft wood haven’t used it on hard wood!

I bought the machine only WITHOUT batteries. Amazon set only offers 2.5amp batteries and they are not up to any length of work, so the set was not value for money. I bought 2 x 6amp 12v batteries & charger from an indep. retailer and the 6amp batteries give you no worries about time in use. Machine is light and cordlessness means you can get on with job that much quicker. Ive still not read the manual so i guess it must be easy to use 🙂
I have to admit that I am a bit of a Bosch fan and my workshop looks rather green, but this is my first tool from the professional range, and I have to say I absolutely love it. I wish I would have bought it a long time ago. The saw has just the right size that you can quickly grasp it and cut whatever needs cutting. Since I bought this saw all my other saws have been literally gathering dust in the workshop. Battery life is good and since my set came with two batteries, I have never run out yet. The saw is pleasantly quiet, compared to other circular saws I have used, which makes working with it an additional pleasure. In terms of accuracy, I have not done super accurate work with it yet, but so far I was able to get nice clean and straight cuts from different types of wooden panels, even if I did not use any guides. Overall, I can only recommend this tool.
The absolute best tool every DIYer absolutely needs. I am actually a full builder but do my own work. I have just converted my loft and put cladding all over. Looks lovely and the mini saw was a real treat to use and time saver!
With the context set, here are my observations about the Bosch GKS 12 V-26.
1 – The saw
Lightweight, great ergonomics, wonderfully compact. My recommendation is to practice some precision cuts to get a feel for the dynamics of the tool. I initially found I was always a little to the left of the line but eventually figured which alignment features to use. By the time I was done, I was able to cut 18mm hardwood plywood to millimetre precision. A constant cutting speed was useful in producing a really clean surface. Additionally, I was able to stop cutting partway through the job and resume without kick-back or locking by ensuring the saw was free. The above combinations of precision cutting and ability to restart the job mid way meant I was able to cut 38mm material in a couple of passes – ok for DIYer, non-ideal for anyone with much sawing to do! Note that the max spec for the tool is approximately 25mm thickness. The LED is effective at illuminating the work piece, but no laser is provided. Also, for a right handed person, the blade is effectively on the far side of the tool requiring viewing from the top. These little nuances are what makes for a 4-star rather than 5-star rating.
2 – Battery Life
Battery drain is quite high when working the tool hard but you do get through a fair few tasks before it is time to recharge a 2.0Ah battery. If the tool is quite central to your activities then a 4.0Ah battery might be the way to go. Luckily, I have 3 x 12V 2.0Ah batteries to keep going. I am not sure if my observation was accurate here but I thought the tool sounded “faster” with a fully charged battery so perhaps that is something to pay attention to so you don’t get caught out. I did get caught out with the tool simply stopping midway through the cut.
3 – Accessories
I opted for the L-boxx version which comes with a new 12V fast charger2 x 2.0Ah batteries, a dust extractor attachment, guide for parallel cuts and allen key. The allen key is stored on the tool, quite subtle and can easily be overlooked. It is needed to attach the parallel guide and dust extractor if needed.
3.1 The guide:
I am not sure about the guide though. It could be my simple lack of experience here but I felt the tool was somewhat fighting the guide and consequently, the finish was not as clean a cut as I saw with my free hand cutting. I therefore dropped the guide and stuck with simple measurement. I suspect some more practice here may be the answer. Note that the parallel guide mentioned here is not the precision “flat bed” large (and very expensive) option
3.2 The battery Charger
Bosch advertised the unit enclosed with my saw as the “NEW” fast charger. It is not the sleek looking “pointy” one but a more regular square shape, but charges a 12V battery in about 25minutes if not less. Having at least one extra battery is useful here because I can charge for longer if necessary.
3.3 The batteries
The L-boxx version I got comes with 2 x 2.0Ah batteries. The saw does drain these quite rapidly so my recommendation is to always have one fully charged spare ready to go. For those new to the Bosch 12V line, please note that the “non-professional” range of 12V batteries is not compatible with the professional range. The batteries do not physically fit the tool. There are workarounds I have seen on youtube but it is important that is understood.
3.4 The dust extractor attachment
I was disappointed that my standard vacuum hose did not quite work with the dust extractor attachment. I have recently purchased a separate 3rd party attachment (the Bosch one is rather expensive for what it is) but at the time of writing this review have not tried it out
3.5 The L-Boxx
The L-Boxx supplied with this option is the “briefcase” size 136 complete with inlay for the saw, batteries, guide and charger. The thing about cutting tools such as these is that you realise very quickly that you do need storage of some description. Note that you can get L-boxxes on their own – perhaps second hand – but they probably won’t have the right inlays and generic foam pad would be needed.
So all considered, I have been thoroughly pleased with this saw despite the little (very minor) niggles I have highlighted and have certainly felt a lot more confident taking on jobs I wouldn’t normally. For example, I was able to cut a clean notch in situ in some hardwood plywood using this saw to do the bulk of the cutting before I brought out the oscillating multi-tool to do the final plunge cut.
I highly recommend this tool, but like other reviewers would state that it makes a great second or third in addition to a main (read bigger) saw of some description and you will need at least one spare battery! It is truly handy, light weight, compact and used properly produces precise and clean cuts! Love it!
Verwende die Sge zur zeit zum schneiden von OSB Platten und sie funktioniert super , der Akku hlt lange an sogar mit dem letzten rest schneidet sie noch gut. Sie reisst nur aus beim nachschneiden von unter einem cm.

I’ve just received my Bosch pro saw.
I’m a little disappointed about package which was in a card board as written in the ad but I expected a “Bosch” cardboard whose be in adequacy with this Bosch pro tool.
Instead of that, the saw was in a “common” cardboard.
When I handled the saw, I found that the quality wasn’t, too,as I expected.
I suppose it’s a very good tool but the sole, the knobs to set angles are… basic as in my bosch circular saw (not pro).
After I charged the batteries (I bought a 2.0 Ah and a 4.0 Ah batteries), I tried the saw and was surprised by the low rotation speed.
But, again, it means nothing and the saw is surely a very good tool as it is written in a lot of reviews.
These are only my first impressions without using it for the moment.
On the other hand, I find the size of this saw well suited to use it in an easy and handy way.
When I see the difference between my “big” circular saw and this one; there’s a gap !
Especially for DIYers like me who mostly cut melamine boards in 20 mm thickness.
It cuts very well but the blade is not enough deep for 45 cuts for 20 mm thicknesses.

Tolles Gert fr Reparaturen in meinem Garten. Gefllt mir sehr gut. Zu Haltbarkeit kann ich nichts genau sagen, da Neugert erst eingekauft.
Such neat cuts, easy to use, lightweight. If it had a laser pointer it would be brilliant, but is such a great tool nevertheless.
Echt genial das Ding. Sieht schon aus wie ein Spielzeug, aber macht was sie soll. Umgestiegen auf 4Ah Akkus, weil derzeit im Angebot. Jetzt macht es wirklich Spa. Bitte beachten man braucht auch ein Ladegert das 4Ah laden kann!!!
Surprisingly versatile,despite its light weight. I used it to cut the cladding timber, light framing wood and even 25mm oak wood. Has stood up to each task quite well .. Find it indispensable part of my toolkit now.

les dcoupes sont nettes et prcises, la lame se stoppe quasi immdiatement aprs l’arrt de la machine, norme.
Petit bmol sur la protection de la lame qui fait un peu fragile. De mme la mise en place du rail de guidage demande de l’attention pour qu’il soit bien parallle la lame (merci aux graduations).
Du trs bon boulot en prenant son temps sur du 2cm d’paisseur, pour du plus fin pas de soucis.
Pour l’aspiration, je n’ai pas connecter d’aspirateur, mais les poussires sortent du mauvais ct, voir l’usage avec aspi.
This machine is perfect for smaller jobs where you need a steady hand, just bare in mind that you’ll have limited depth for your cuts, and provided you have a steady hand you’ll get nice straight free hand cuts. The battery life for me is very impressive on soft woods, although I haven’t yet tried it on hard wood.

I’m a big fan of the Bosch pro 12v/10.8v range. Yes, they are the same. Bosch just changed the name.
I bought this saw to complete a shed project as there was a certain amount of trimming that needed doing.
I’m already an owner of Bosch pro 12v kit so there was the added advantage of extra batteries in this purchase!
I purchased the L-Boxx version with two 2ah batteries plus another charger. I love the L-Boxx system and couldn’t turn it down at 145 pounds on a deal. With another two batteries and charger this was a complete win!
Pros:
* Quiet. No ear defenders required.
* Up to the job – easily (and quickly) cutting 18mm OSB and half-inch treated pine.
* Accurate. Even without a rail the supplied guide was great.
* Stands in for a table saw for some tasks. Because it can actually be used one handed, and *if* you have a suitable work-surface you can pull a piece of timber *through* the saw safely. There’s a knack to it but it does work!
* Minimal kick-back. Because it is low rpm and high torque, if things go wrong the kick-back is actually not too bad at all.
* Braked. Yes, this may save your fingers!
Cons:
* Can drain batteries quite fast on heavy work. The 4ah batteries would solve this. Not a problem for me as I have multiple compatible batteries.
The best bit! … buying some 8×4 OSB from wickes and cutting it in the car-park to fit in the car (yes, I checked with the staff first, they were fine with it).
Overall, an absolutely awesome piece of kit. Love it! Great addition to any DIY or tradesmans toolkit. Just wait for a deal if you are unsure.
I am very happy with this tool it cut the sheets of plywood and MDF very nice indeed.
Eigentlich ein Top Gert so wie auch der Schrauber aus der gleichen Linie.
Leider ist bei der Anwendung die Spannschraube fr das Sgeblatt abgerissen so dass der Gewindeteil im Werkzeug verblieb. Das war fr mich nicht mehr zu reparieren.
Der Verkufer hat das Teil zurck genommen und mir den Kaufpreis erstattet.
Ich werde mir das gleiche Werkzeug sicherlich spter nocheinmal kaufen.
Aus meiner Sicht ist das bei Bosch Werkzeugen nicht die Regel, dass Defekte auftreten, deshalb trotz Defektes 4 Sterne.
Ich mag das kleine Teil. Man darf sich damit zwar nicht auf einer “richtigen” Baustelle sehen lassen, weil man sonst gemobbed wird, aber fr alles was ich so schneide ist es perfekt (bis ca. 23 mm Strke). Habe mir die Sge angeschafft um nicht bei jedem graden Schnitt, den ich machen mchte, die groe Sge verkabeln zu mssen. Das mitgelieferte Sgeblatt verwende ich noch immer und noch habe ich auch keinen Grund es auszutauschen.
Debera cuidarse el mtodo de embalaje, lleg con la caja (de cartn) maltratada. En general el equipo funciona bien con las bateras de 2Ah y 4Ah. Ojo que solo trae la sierra, el adaptador de corte lateral, el colector de polvo, una hoja de sierra(colocada en la sierra) y guas de usuario.Otra cosa. por seguridad la sierra frena el disco cuando se deja de presionar el gatillo. Fue una buena eleccin.

Liked it being cordless cut 18 mm m d f and 2 by 1 inch tile batten no problem
ich dachte nicht, dass die Sge mitlerweile bei allen Holzarbeiten in Panelenstrke zum Einsatz kommt. Mit einen 4 ah Akku bestckt schafft man ohne Probleme 60-80 Schnitte ( 12-15 cm lang) bei Fuboden oder Wand/Decke Arbeiten.
In Verbindung mit dem Schrauber in 12 Volt ist endlich ein ermdungsfreies Arbeiten mglich. Die Arbeitsgerusche klingen zwar etwas kraftlos, die Sge zieht aber bis 25 mm Strke ohne zu Murren durch.

Absolut klasse und ick will es nicht mehr missen. Wenn man seine Werkzeugsammlung auf Bosch umgestellt hat, sprich bereits Akkus besitzt, ist diese kleine Kreissge unverzichtbar:
– Nimmt kaum Platz weg
– Ist mit einem Griff einsatzbereit
– Hat Kraft und sgt sehr gu
Fr mich als begeisterten Heimwerker fast fr alles die Maschine der Wahl, leicht, przise, gengend Leistung fr kleinere Arbeiten. Und dazu keine Kabel! Absolute Kaufempfehlung, wie fr eigentlich alle Gerte der Bosch-Blau-Akku-Reihe

Ich bin sehr beeindruckt.
Auch ein kleiner 12V akku mit 1,5Ah hllt wirklich sehr lang. Das htte ich nicht gedacht.
Diverse Einstellmglichkeiten machen diese Sge perfekt.
Wer keine Schnitttiefe von mehr als 27mm braucht ist mit diesem Mini-Kraftzwerg sehr gut bedient. Extrem handlich bei sehr guter Schnittleistung.
Beim Sgen von 25mm starkem Massivholz ist der Akku (2Ah) nach einer Schnittlnge von ca. 4m leer. Wobei man sich schon wundert, wie gut der “Kleine” da durch geht. Sgt man 16mm “Brettchen” dann scheint der Akku den ganzen Tag zu halten.
Fr den gelegentlichen Einsatz im Heimwerkerbereich eine sehr gute Wahl.

Ich habe fast alle 12V (10.8V) Modelle vom Bosch.
Einige haben gengend Kraft, einige lassen noch Wnsche brich.
Diese Kreissge ist schon leistungsfhiger als ich vorgestellt habe.
(Ich habe ein 4VA Akku dazu bestellt um sicher zu gehen da es nicht an Akku-Leistung hakt.)

Dass einzige was mich etwas enttuscht hat sind die Skala. Fr die Professional Serie htte ich mit eine genauere Skala gewnscht.
… in einem sehr handlichen Format und mit einer super Leistung. Leider kam sie so ganz ohne Koffer oder Karton, daher gibt es einen Stern Abzug.
Apres 6 mois d’utilisation est fonctionne toujours super bien. Par contre il est vraiment impratif d’utilis une batterie de 4ah minimun sinon elle manque de puissance et au bout de 2 dcoupe il n’y a plus de batterie. Mais avec une 4ah en 12v on peut vraiment l’utilis pour bosser correctment.

Ho abbinato questa sega ad una guida FSN. Il sistema consente di lavorare velocemente e con una certa precisione.
La sega, grazie alle dimensioni e al peso ridotto, consente di effettuare molto facilmente anche tagli a mano libera.
Non ho ancora capito quale sia l’utilit della luce LED, dato che l’allineamento del taglio a mano libera non particolarmente intuitivo e reso relativamente difficile dalla polvere sollevata; sar questione di abitudine.
La regolazione dell’angolo di taglio poco precisa e mettere la lama in squadra risulta difficoltoso, anche per le ridotte dimensioni delle superfici di riferimento.
Aber Achtung es ist kein Akku dabei, da wir aber 4 passende Schnelllade-Akkus haben ist diese Maschine fr uns perfekt.
Empfehlung: 2 Schnelllade-Akkus dazu den die Sge braucht schon ein bisschen mehr “Saft” als ein Akku-Schrauber.

Auch etwas strkere Platten lassen gerade Schnitte (Freihand) nicht vermissen. Dann aber lieber ohne Druck denn so ein kleine Gert kennt auch Grenzen….:-)
Ich kann es nur empfehlen und wrde es mir jederzeit wieder zulegen.
Der Schnitt ist sauber, der Winkel lsst sich verstellen. Anschlag zur Fhrung an Brettkanten war dabei.

my husband loves it, far better than the Makita trim saw it replaced. it will even cut through floor boards, just take it easy and give it time as it is a little underpowered for this kind of work, but will do it. Get one
