Dad is extremely happy with this purchase, it’s the most powerful tool he’s ever owned. That’s just what you expect when you go with such a well-known brand!

Bought in preference to a cheaper, more powerful but much heavier alternative. Having used heavy ones before, I feel that this is much more likely to be used and easier to hall up ladders etc, but I wouldn’t attempt anything too heavy with it. So far it’s fine for 30mm hole in brick plus some 8mm into hard concrete

I was struggling to go through a wall with my old drill as the wall solid concrete? Anyhow had a task of doing these walls a few times and had a few different drills to no success. However, this made easy work of the job and left me wishing I’d have bought sooner.

Have only used once so far but seems a real quality tool, got on Black Friday for 99 so I think it’s absolute bargain and will expect to last for years

unfortunately the hand holder that allows the distancer to hold doesn’t do a good job. Other than that, smooth but very-very loud job.

This is a great drill. It’s beautifully made, smooth and quiet in operation (for a SDS drill) and drives through brick, concrete or breeze blocks like a knife through butter. The quick chuck change mechanism is simplicity itself. Cannot fault it.

I love the drill, it’s awesome BUT. Why is it only men using the product in the photos!? Bosch you can do better.
Seems sturdy. Been opening up an old fireplace with it. Chisel mode is great for going through plaster and mortar around bricks.
As a hammer drill it’s way stronger and quicker than the old general purpose drill with a hammer function.

Fantastic bit of kit. I’ve had a 110 version for years I’ve used on site and for various jobs around the house and bought separately a SDS to standard keyed chuck for adapting to non SDS bits (used for a plaster mixing paddle) so the speed adaptor chuck included that performs this function is a great addition. Once cut 4 number 4″ cores through a 2ft concrete wall with no bother. Highly recommend. Some reviews mention the box doesn’t open fully which let’s it down which is true to a point, but the box is still well made and its not the box being used to drill or chisel your project so its a very, very minor thing for me. Buy it if you need a good, hard working reliable tool.
So far I have used this drill several times and it has not failed, great equipment.
By far the best electric drill I’ve ever purchased. I’ve always bought dewalt tools, but when I looked at the spec of this electric Bosch drill with it’s quick change chuck at a reasonable price, I just couldn’t resist buying and trying it out. Well it didn’t disappoint… drilled a hole in a 9″ 8″ solid concrete lintel in seconds, hammer chiselled tiles off like a hot knife through butter ( which had been cemented on to a wall ). I was so happy with my purchase that I brought another to keep in my workshop as a spare.
This drill has saved me a fortune in getting tradesmen in, from pulling up tiles, to routing cables through solid masonry walls. Decent product, powerful enough for me, cannot believe it has taken me so long to buy one.
ice drill at a good price. Does it for me and Im a builder…so it can rest a while then ill batter the hell out of it…
Great product, fairly lightweight, drilled into masonary like a hot knife through butter! You cant go wrong with Bosch!

The best drill for the money it goes in the old victoriana brickes as hot knife in the butte
Bosch Professional GBH 2-26 F Corded 240 V Rotary Hammer Drill with SDS Plus. Make sure you are clear on which one you are buying! This is the SDS with the quick change chuck so you can still use the regular type bits as well. Had an old Bosch hammer drill and as a female DIYer I was worried was this just “too big”. Yes, it’s big, and yes it’s a little heavy, but it’s fantastic for concrete etc. You can insert/change the drill bit very quickly and with one hand which makes it very easy to use! I also bought a cheaper Bosch cordless for small light jobs.
Update: brilliant drill but don’t bother going for this one with the interchangeable chuck because you if you go SDS you will never go back!!
What a beast, its worth every penny. Drilled through very hard stone like a knife in butter.

Brilliant equipment, I got one of their previous models from my grandfather which should be now 25years old still no issue with it so for mr Bosch all the way.

an absolute beast brilliant. Not too heavy. I have the worlds hardest brickwork I’m sure. Normal handheld drill and botch hammer drill couldn’t cut it at all. This however simple to change sds bits n doesn’t mince about on anything. Even used it to break through old concrete perfect bit of ki

This baby can go through a lot of stuff. It’s not just a great drill but also takes plaster of a wall with ease. I’ve even had it cracking out concrete floors, even though it’s not really designed for that… it still did the job. Impressive. Great machine. Usual Bosch Pro quality. Happy to recommend.

here are thousands of drills out there made by household names thru to companies you never heard of, All promise the same stuff but most do not deliver. Dont pre judge get on youtube and review sites to get the full SP.
This unit Is powerfull well made and a dream to use.
If your going to buy Bosche buy the Pro Range the green standard products are not up to much at all
My wife and I needed a drill that deals with all types of walls, including hard masonry. This Bosch drill (with SDS adapter) works well and we have been able to drill into anything encountered. Worth paying more for a drill that is effective.
I rarely write reviews on products but in this case I felt I had to. I borrowed a Makita hammer drill as the walls in my house are like granite, the drill wouldn’t touch it even with new good quality bits. I bit the bullet and purchased my own..the Bosch GBH 2-26F and I was blown away, I also purchased some SDS bits and it went though the wall like butter with minimal effort. I was actually amazed how easy it did the job.. also for the little extra money buy the F model as you get a standard chuck also for the “normal” straight shank bits.

Very happy with the drill. Been using it for all kind of jobs drilling hammer as well as mixing for plastering. It’s worked a treat.

This product (I got the 2-26F) is relatively light weight, is easy to handle and for the size it packs a great punch. Came a little early and was immediately tested and put to work. I have had it for about 6 months now and have no complains. You can’t go wrong with the german made Bosch.
Only personal knit pick is that the keyless check makes a rachetting sound like many others but i can’t stand it. Apart from that, I would highly recommend.
Amazing drill. I don’t normally leave reviews for items but felt compelled to for this drill. I own two other drills one other being a decent hammer drill. Even with good bits it could not drill into the solid concrete ceiling or old super hard Victorian brick work. I bought this SDS plus drill and the Bosch professional SDS plus concrete bits. I went for the version that included the quick change Chuck so you can still use the regular type bits as well as SDS plus.
The drill and bits went into my concrete ceiling and brickwork like butter with minimal effort and minimal noise. I didn’t even have to lean into the drill so using it was a pure joy.
The power lead is a decent length so haven’t needed an extension so far.
There have been a few negative reviews about the case. Yes it only opens to 90 degrees. It really isn’t an issue at all. There’s compartments for a couple of accessories and clips inside the lid for a drill bit case. It’s solid. Does the job.
Highly recommended.
The drill is great, however you do not get the extra chuck as shown in other reviews.
You now only get the drill, a depth stop and a cloth.

I used this drill to put 150 holes in brick on the same day putting up air gap membrane in my garage. This is the best drill I have ever used. Not that heavy, total control and goes through brick real easy. The interchangable chuck saves so much time. I would highly rate this drill for serious DIY or professional use.

This is a well made powerful drill capable of any DIY jobs you might have. Cable is fairly long which is nice and it comes in a neat case to keep it all tidy. My last Bosch drill was stolen and I had run it for 18 years without fault, looks like this one will do the same.

Great build quality and reliable use on a daily basis highly recommend
Went through concrete like a knife through butter… Still amazed
Hasn’t failed yet. Hammer drill is brilliant for channeling and lifting off tiles.
Powerful drill with variable speed trigger control both in forward and reverse.
Love it. My walls are made of material that aren’t of this world. Nothing could penetrate them. Until now. Love this drill.
Make sure you buy SDS drill bits and an extension cord. The cable is reasonable but you are bound to need longer at some point.
The product is really good only the accessory inside came used

Reliable and productive, an excellent purchase from a quality Manufacturer.
This hammer/drill/kango is excellent value for money. I burnt out a Makita drill trying to drill holes out through my external mass concrete walls. This drill went through them like a hot knife through butter. I’ve put this drill through it’s paces & I’m 100% happy with it’s performance & have no heating in recommending i
Went through masonary and concrete like a knife through butter. A little heavier than my old one but feels more solidly built.
This was my first SDS drill buy, to help with installing a tumble dryer vent, using a 117mm core bit.
As an avid Bosch fan and buyer of other power tools, I had high expectations for the drill to perform well. It didn’t let me down and without it, I’d have been lost, as you really need an SDS with safety clutch, when using core bits of the above size. Overall, delighted with the purchase, price paid and after registering with Bosch on-line, I now have a 3 year guarantee. I can highly recommend this drill to any DIY’er or tradesman.
Top quality and have seen it in irish shops for nearly twice what I paid for it .very happy with this purchase
Bought to replace my previous Bosch SDS drill after the motor burnt out from overuse. Looks to be the expected Bosch quality, being the pro model hopefully it will last as long as my previous model.

This drill has got some guts for its size. Great value with Bosch quality.
I should have bought this ages ago instead of chipping away with chisel and hamme
Excellent SDS hammer drill for the money…plenty of power without weighing a ton. Just used it for breaking up some floor screed to reroute some pipework. Flew through it. Much better power/weight than the DeWalt one it replaces
Really good and well made tool
Very dissappointed in carry case
Compared to my old bosch case
This one was cheap and poorly made
Hinges weak
Wake up bosch your competitors have
You will not be dissapointed with this drill, it is tough and durable nice to use.
We sre builders of 30 years experience, always use Bosch drills of this size.
It’s a professional drill. It has an electric cord (long) connector so is a little less convenient than cordless but it is a powerful and solid little number. Reliable DIY workmate
I use this drill for varied work including drilling and removing bricks.
Used it for drilling 5mm holes up to 25mm holes it’s perfect for my type of work as a plumber perfect also for removing tyles on hammer actio
There is a lot of drills on the market that say they can do a job . So when you purchase this drill you have high expectations and believe me you will not be disappointed.

Top quality sds drill. Used it today and it went through granite blocks like butter that my top of the range dewalt cordless drill couldnt touch.

Feels great to use. The supplied chucks are easy to swap. The case as plenty of room for winding the cable back.
Very happy with the purchase.
Like the price and quality dislike the incompatibility between the SDS chuck and the previous versio
A present for my father and I hope he will love it.
Fantastic product that does exactly what it says it will
A drill with a high power rating looks well buil
To date, this is the best heavy duty professional drill that I’ve ever bought. The SDS function is so simple to use, and also has a chisel setting option to remove tiling if required. It eases through masonary without effort, really good value and the delivery was almost immediate.

Good build and performance. Like the quick change chucks. Nice to see it was made in Germany, looking forward to years of trouble free use. (Update 11 June: As mentioned by Jamie’s review, the case lid will jam if it goes beyond 90 degrees. I cut off the 5 plastic stops, and rounded off the edges. Lid opens out fully now without any problems.)
First time I have seen all 5 star review. Perfect in every way. You won’t be disappointed.
I recommend to all this drill a good price and very good quality
A powerful machine that does what’s required of it. Who could ask for more?
Easy to grip such a powerful drill and feels and looks quality. Works a treat.
One year in review. Great drill, no qualms at all as it’s put up with everything I’ve thrown at it. The box is infuriating though. It’s been designed to open at 90 degrees and stay there. If it goes past 90 degrees to 180, as shown in the picture, then you have a problem, the box won’t close without taking the hinge rod out. If you try to force it closed, it stresses the plastic and won’t close. I’m missing a hinge rod on one side which might be making it worse, how has that come out?! Annoying! If you’re going to make a box, make it well, it devalues what’s a good product.
Brilliant drill wish I had bought years ago. Makes light work of drilling concrete
So far verry good product verry helpful and good working piece
The drill is superb and the quick change chuck is easy to to use. Lot of torque when using augers in green oak. I have not used the chisel function yet. I was disappointed with the Amazon delivery though as the seal on the drill case had been broken and the quick change chuck and depth gauge were rattling around in their respective compartments in the case. This gave me the impression the drill was not new and had been previously returned. I confirmed this with Bosch. Had I not needed it urgently I would have returned it for a replacement. A matter of principal.
Firstly let me start by saying that the equivalent powered 18v counterpart is just as powerful. That’s where the differences stop this has a much higher torque and therefore the drill just plows though any surface it’s build quality is second to none. You might as well get the quick change chuck version as for that little bit extra it’s 100% worth it. If you doing decking or screwing anything where you can point the drill down the weight and high torque just makes light effort compared to a standard cordless
There is everything to like about this drill far more powerful than my old Bosch sds which still works after 20 years drills and chisels concrete with no problem
It is very small for its high power – a very effective tool.
Replacement for a previous version that was knackered after 10 years of heavy use so I was happy to stick with Bosch Pro. I like the case that is actually large enough to take the driill, cable and some attachments and the quick change chuck is a big bonus.
