I never thought a laundry hamper would look sooo stylish. And I had my doubts of it looking weird in the space I had intended it for but, it actually blends I really well and also looks nice, gone are the days of “oh, that’s obviously a laundry hamper.”
I love this hamper. I purchased it originally for its sleek design, but it’s an absolute must have. I’ve had wicker, cloth and plastic hampers. They would either get dirty, or the lining would fall apart, or moisture from towels would ruin them completely. With this hamper the design is super sleek and the cork top helps hide your dirty laundry in the best way! Also the lining easily comes off to wash. It’s super easy to clean and I highly recommend it. This is by far the best laundry hamper out there.
I like this laundry basket. I live van life and I wanted one that could sit out and hide my clothes without looking like I’m in college. The white and cork is really nice but the black band around the bag on the outside is jarring and ruins the clean look. I use it without the bag. I also really wish that the holes went up further. After being outside and getting all gross, sweaty clothes don’t have enough breathing room to air out. A woven basket is ugly but has more airflow and surface area to let the clothes de-funk. If it was in a closet or laundry room, this wouldn’t be an issue.
The capacity is good for a laundry horse like me for about a week’s worth. The inner bag washes well. It’s super easy, convenient, and as I said, the design is really, really nice.

Je suis ravie de mon achat, sa fait propre et rang dans ma chambre. Certes un peu cher mais bon on paye la marque, j’ai une poubelle brabantia depuis 10 ans elle n’a pas bouger et ne laisse pas passer les odeurs. J’ai t surprise il y a le tissus a l’intrieur de la corbeille je pensais qu’il fallait l’acheter en plus.

Prend peu de place, un peu “juste” pour couple + 1 enfant mais fais il faut reconnatre que la contenance est tout fait correcte. Bien pens et surtout semble de trs bonne qualit. Design super !

Die Wschetonne ist sehr chic und stabil. Der Deckel ist schn dick aus Kork. Alles in Allem zufrieden.

This is just what I was looking for. It has a clean neet finish to it and a very practical laundry bin. I especially like the design of the lid which rests on bin when putting bulky items or taking them out. Looks tidy in my bedroom and I have have many compliments. Great delivery from Amazon it was well packaged too.

It was a bit of a luxury purchase as part of doing up our kitchen and utility but now I think its worth every penny.
Not woven (so won’t snag clothes or shed bits), looks smart, has an internal bag that sits perfectly in the container but takes out easily. Only lost a star due to the price, but our last laundry bag started life as a soft toy hamper 20yrs ago so it was ok to splurge – hope this one lasts half as long.

It’s made of decent quality, reasonably thick stainless steel, which has shown no signs of marking or discolouration in over a month’s use.
The removal fabric laundry bag within is nice, but to be honest I’ve not really found myself using it that much – I tend to just rifle though the bin looking for enough black / white / coloured items to make up a load, rather than wanting to take all the laundry out at once, so it’s not that helpful. I imagine it’d be of more use if you have a specific “laundry day” where you’ll wash everything that had accumulated, rather than doing individual loads here and there like I do. If you do that, you can purchase extra laundry bags so you can swap them over to always have an empty one in the bin ready to start filling back up while you take the other full one to your laundry area, if that suits your way of doing laundry.
The lid has slots inside the hole to allow it to hook over the side of the bin while you’re emptying it – but I don’t find that of all that much use either, I find it easier to just lay the lid on the floor or the bed while I take out enough stuff to make up a load of the desired colour, then place the lid back on.
So – not the cheapest option, perhaps a little gimmicky, but nonetheless a good, stylish-looking, solid bin backed by Brabantia’s 10 year guarantee (not that there’s all that much to go wrong with a laundry bin, but it’s good to see they stand behind their products).
The box shows a number of features, but also informs you (by means of an un-ticked tick box) that the drum is not fingerprint proof. That doesn’t bother me, but any flaw in the drum’s surface is prone to catching the light and when it arrived — despite the box being undamaged — there were two dents in the sides. I was able to push these so that they snapped back into shape and the surface looks to the casual eye to be as it was supposed to be. However it is still obvious by the way the light reflects off the side that these dents were there once. It’s not a real concern to me, and although I need to mention it in the review, it won’t ever be something that bothers me. If it happens to you and it bothers you, you can always send it back to be swapped — so it’s not going to affect my review score, because I really like this laundry bin and it’s worth a score of five stars.
This bin looked bigger than I expected and initially I thought it was too big but once in situ it seemed to shrink and looks really stylish! The bin is a very sleek looking brushed metal with an understated pattern of ventilation holes and the plastic lid is a dark grey. Filling it with clothes is effortless because they seems to just glide through the hole in the lid. The bin has an inner liner that is held in securely by velcro but it can be detached so that you can take it directly to the washing machine before you empty it. It is an expensive product but it is well made and should last a very long time.
A lovely looking yet practical washing bin that will grace any bedroom or bathroom with a modern feel to them. The plastic lid might grate with some users but it is light and looks OK. The vents are a nice feature and help alleviate the potential for pongs from damp clothing left in the bin for longer than it should. Overall a very nicely designed product.
This is a sturdy and good looking laundry bin. Washing machine capacity is measured in kilograms, and laundry bins in litres, so it is hard to compare them, but I can confirm that when it’s full this is too big for just one load. Maybe it would need two full loads, depending on your machine, or at least one and a half. The black plastic top is a bit cheap looking compared to the stainless steel body however, and if you’re willing to spend this much on a laundry bin you may as well go the whole hog and spend a bit extra to get one of the others, eg with the wooden lid. Anyway it is well made with thoughtful little features. The lid slopes towards the centre so that when you put something onto the top, it slides in without you needing to feed it through the hole, which is cool to watch. There is a notch which attaches the lid to the bin if you ever need to do that. There is a support inside the bottom of the bin to stop the laundry from resting right at the bottom, which I think makes the ventilation holes work better, or something. The inner bag has a rubberised grippy top for you to hold onto when you carry it to the washing machine. It has a 10 year guarantee. Not much can go wrong with a laundry bin as long as it’s sufficiently sturdy, but this shows they have great confidence in their products.
