Fitted another make and found it had a micro-fracture in the riser bar so needed a replacement that would cover the drill holes and was also of a ‘square’ design. This fitted the bill with the adjustable height riser. Limited fitting instructions but not too difficult and helpful on-line resources. On mine the thermostatic valve had to be adjusted so it was hot enough without having to go past the ‘click button’ safety feature – but clear instructions included for doing that. The flexible hose is tight in the rising bracket so one has to be sure to pull it up and out but still a bit tricky (form over function). The three way button switch on the front of the handheld shower head is a nice feature. Overall great quality and style and great height for the rainfall head plus excellent price.

Bristan products are generally good quality, this is no exception.
The hose on the detatchable shower head has come apart after light use. Hope the suppliers replace with somwthing made in UK. Or at least a partial refund as the hose is not fit for purpose. Would have scored higher.
An amazing shower which is super heavyweight. Great quality and very easy to install. With the addition of a solid shower pump you get the water firing out. It’s a great shower and looks beautiful.

Will fit existing 150mm centre Bar shower valves with out any pipe alterations, and just one hole to be drilled into tiles to fix vertical rail.

CAUTION when installing allow the copper tube tails to project 150mm from the tile surface this will allow you something to hold when using a pipe slice.
Do Not cut the copper tube tails 30mm from the tile surface as stated in the instructions.
The critical measurement is achieved by placing the wall plate over the copper tube tail so that it is flush against the tile surface, then put the copper olive over the copper tube tail and onto the wall plate ,mark the copper tube tail at a maximum 5mm projection past the olive (critical measurement)
Remove the olive and wall plate and cut the copper tube tail dead on the mark with a pipe slice. Sorted
When assembling place some tape around the chrome nuts to prevent spanner damage to chrome.
