Covers a tricky gap across stairs that a normal gate wouldn’t so overall we’re happy with it. Not convinced it will stand up to kids leaning, pulling it as they tend to do with stair gates when you lock them out of somewhere they’re not supposed to be but so far so good. Annoyingly has a quick release button that kids and adults can easily press by accident that releases whole gate from the mount which seems like a big design flaw.
Not for a baby.. not even for a dog!! This is for the rabbits! They have free roaming in the lounge but not the dining area … its a open plan so it needs to be long and large! Perfec

This is a fantastic baby/pet gate, it perfectly fits most places and is really ideal for awkward spaces or funny corners as it is flexible and can bend around. I love the mesh style material as it looks much more subtle, stylish and safe. The gate is really easy to fix and incredibly secure, I like that this is much harder for little ones to climb over and more difficult to learn to open.

Very good quality and good price
This retractable gate works like a roller blind except it is sideways. It was pretty straightforward to install, the big advantage is that it is not permanent like a standard gate is so it can be easily be concealed.
some reviews mentioned that babies can crawl underneath it. I don’t believe it to be possible if the lock mechanism is activated. As for the sturdiness only time will tell.

I was looking for a retractable gate to fit across my patio doors to stop my toddler from going outside but able to keep the doors open for fresh air.
I wanted something retractable rather than a fitted metal gate.
This gate is wider than most which fitted the space I needed. Looks neat and tidy when not in use too.
Only didn’t give 5stars because the adapter didnt fit the right direction we needed the hook to go at , However we just put it over the top and works absolutely fine.
Overall really pleased with purchase. It is exactly what I wanted.
