good strap, tough face, bought as a watch to see if I like wearing a watch and its so comfy I forget im wearing i
Good old Casio….great watch does what it says on the tin.
Like the different layout of the face, and is VERY comfortable to wear.
Its a small face and thin which is what I wanted
Nice watch
Bought this as a cheap watch to wear on recent travels to avoid wearing anything too appealing for thieves. Really useful to have an alarm and second time zone as well as being waterproof
Dislikes :- 1) The strap is a little too long.
2) Not very accurate but for the price, it’s acceptable
Nice! Need a watch for work that was not too flashy. The digital display is a little small but the face is adequate. All in all , a stylish looking, cheap watch that does what is needed for a low price.
My 11 Yr old loves this watch. He needed one for school. It looks good on his wrist (not oversized) and has the digital time as well as clock. Not expensive so if it gets damaged it’s not such a big deal. Everything works fine, and easy to set up.
Nice stylist watch at a very acceptable price. Had it for a couple of weeks and it has kept accurate time. Has an hourly “beep-beep” alarm and a single daily alarm; the alarm volume is quite low which means I can hear it but it is not intrusive if you are out in public, although some people might find it too quite. I bought this as I needed a cheap waterproof watch for when I go swimming. Have not tested it in a pool yet but my previous cheap Casio worked fine in the water so expecting the same with this one.
I trust the Casio brand as I have had Casio before.
Nice looking and compact, and easy to read as long as there is ambient light available as there is no backlight.
The only other negative is the plastic lens which scratches and scuffs quite easily, but for the price I can’t complain.
I had a similar watch years ago, and found the date/stopwatch/digital time slit more that adequate. Now many years on, this one has the same, and even with my older eyesight, I have no problem reading it. Stylish design. The strap is a bit awkward on occasions, but I didn’t buy it for the strap. I can recommend this watch.
Straps held up well, stopwatch function very useful during exams and when working, does not beep on the hour. When i got any scratches I just rubbed it with a scratchy jumper and it polished the watch up and the scratches disappeared.
Funnily enough, straps ended up absorbing the perfume I used every day so the watch smelled very nice!!
A little bit confusing to set up alarm though. Will be rebuying to replace my lost watch.
Cool retro looking black and orangey watch. Very lightweight with smooth matte resin. Really good quality for the price. The face is detailed and readable in the light but hard to read in the dark. The strap has a ridge on the end that is supposed to catch against the loop to hold it in place, but this ridge ends up making the end if the strap jut out a bit which makes it catch on long sleeves. I still really like this watch but it has these small design flaws that could have easily been sorted.
Slight gripes are: date is in US format MM DD rather than the preferred UK DD MM format and cannot be changed. The arms have a luminous coating on but it doesn’t work too well and it is near impossible to read the watch in low light, for which I knocked off a star. If Casio made it with a built in light and the option to change the date format I think this would be a winner and would be worth a slight price increase.
I bought this to replace a Casio Illuminator (with a white face that glowed brightly when the Illuminator button was pressed – very useful in the dark) that I’d had for many years and loved, but sadly Casio no longer make.
It’s a nice enough watch, and very reasonably priced, but Casio has made the retrograde step of dropping the illumination of the well-designed Illuminator (the only down-side of that model was that the straps went stiff and eventually brittle, so had to be replaced every couple of years) and most of their other watches now are remarkably ugly. In other respects it’s similar, but there’s one annoying feature – when resetting the hands between time zones, the button, which as on the Illuminator only moves the hands forwards, unlike the Illuminator when held doesn’t move to a faster speed, so resetting to an hour earlier is a slow process of going forward round 11 hours.
I am very pleased with this watch which I bought about 2 months ago. I needed something that was very clear and unfussy and I wanted analogue style which I can read at a glance. this is a ‘man’s watch’ although I am female – not a problem but if you have slender wrists the length of strap would be too long for most women I think. the ‘glass’ on the face is plastic and it has scratched a little which is why the review has 4 not 5 stars, otherwise very pleased with purchase.
