good strap, tough face, bought as a watch to see if I like wearing a watch and its so comfy I forget im wearing i
Good old Casio….great watch does what it says on the tin.
Like the different layout of the face, and is VERY comfortable to wear.
Its a small face and thin which is what I wanted
Nice watch
Easy to set time, very comfy to wear and looks pretty nice, only downside is the small digital display but I’ve got terrible eyesight. so i guess it would probably be fine for someone who’s eyeballs aren’t slowly turning to dus
simple easy to read face with an alarm. Buttons set on left so comfortable to wear. Slim design.
Nice light smart little watch with both analogue abd digital displays. 2 minor points being in the dark theres no light button and no date shown you have to press mode button.
Bought this as a cheap watch to wear on recent travels to avoid wearing anything too appealing for thieves. Really useful to have an alarm and second time zone as well as being waterproof
Love the Dual time and the water resistant features. Tested the latter by wearing it in the shower a few times and have been very impressed with the outcome.
Dislikes :- 1) The strap is a little too long.
2) Not very accurate but for the price, it’s acceptable
I had nothing at all to dislike about this watch it has multiple functions very comfortable I have very thin wrists and this watch looks good on not too big or too small and it keeps perfect time hasnt dropped a single second ye
Nice! Need a watch for work that was not too flashy. The digital display is a little small but the face is adequate. All in all , a stylish looking, cheap watch that does what is needed for a low price.
My 11 Yr old loves this watch. He needed one for school. It looks good on his wrist (not oversized) and has the digital time as well as clock. Not expensive so if it gets damaged it’s not such a big deal. Everything works fine, and easy to set up.
I was just after a lightweight basic watch for use at work , the watch is comfy to wear and very light on the wrist , it looks great and had a whole lot more features than I required especially for the reasonable price of 20. Great watch and happy with my purchase , my only gripe is no light to read time in the dark .
Nice stylist watch at a very acceptable price. Had it for a couple of weeks and it has kept accurate time. Has an hourly “beep-beep” alarm and a single daily alarm; the alarm volume is quite low which means I can hear it but it is not intrusive if you are out in public, although some people might find it too quite. I bought this as I needed a cheap waterproof watch for when I go swimming. Have not tested it in a pool yet but my previous cheap Casio worked fine in the water so expecting the same with this one.
I wanted a watch that would give me the day and date and this does the job nicely.
I trust the Casio brand as I have had Casio before.
Nice looking and compact, and easy to read as long as there is ambient light available as there is no backlight.
The only other negative is the plastic lens which scratches and scuffs quite easily, but for the price I can’t complain.
I was pleased to find this watch with the setting knobs on ‘the wrong side’, as the person I bought this watch for normally has a problem with the chunky modern watches catching on his wrist. This watch is perfect for him! The only minor drawback is that the setting up instructions are not very clear, both because of the wording and the size of the print. It took two people, one reading out the instructions and one doing the settings, to set up the watch.
Excellent cheap watch. Does everything I want in a watch. I hate these massive ‘clocks’ that seem to be fashionable these days. This is compact and typically well sized.
I had a similar watch years ago, and found the date/stopwatch/digital time slit more that adequate. Now many years on, this one has the same, and even with my older eyesight, I have no problem reading it. Stylish design. The strap is a bit awkward on occasions, but I didn’t buy it for the strap. I can recommend this watch.
Very sleek and elegant watch. I previously had the black and white version, which I was very pleased with, but there are two changes which make this watch even better: the black and gold are smarter; and rather than slits in the watch hands, there are reflective strips so that you can see the time in the dark. I love all the features of this timepiece; the dual time is especially useful for me, as it means that when I travel to France, I don’t need to make any changes with the new time zone, just switch to dual time (helpfully indicated with ‘DT’). Really happy with this product.
It’s not easy to find an analogue watch with an alarm. Looks good apart from the strap is a bit too long and flaps around a bit. Digital display is hard to read but fine for me as I only want it to set a daily alarm anyway. Would give it 5 stars if it were not for the strap.
Loved this watch, bought in 2014 and wore it daily until beginning of 2017 when I lost it. I am female and it still looks very sleek and nice on my small wrist.
Straps held up well, stopwatch function very useful during exams and when working, does not beep on the hour. When i got any scratches I just rubbed it with a scratchy jumper and it polished the watch up and the scratches disappeared.
Funnily enough, straps ended up absorbing the perfume I used every day so the watch smelled very nice!!
A little bit confusing to set up alarm though. Will be rebuying to replace my lost watch.
Cool retro looking black and orangey watch. Very lightweight with smooth matte resin. Really good quality for the price. The face is detailed and readable in the light but hard to read in the dark. The strap has a ridge on the end that is supposed to catch against the loop to hold it in place, but this ridge ends up making the end if the strap jut out a bit which makes it catch on long sleeves. I still really like this watch but it has these small design flaws that could have easily been sorted.
Used watch as an every day watch for about 6 months and its been very good. The watch has lots of useful features such as an alarm, dual time, stopwatch etc, which often come in handy and it is also relatively easy to setup. The build quality seems good, I keep the watch on when in the shower, and have used it whilst mountain biking and kayaking in bad weather and it hasn’t shown any signs of water ingress. The adjustable strap makes it easy to get a secure fit, so its ideal if you are using it whilst doing sports. It has had a bit of abuse and has stood up well with no signs of the strap or materials breaking. The face is only plastic and does scratch easier than glass, but after 6 months of use and a fair bit of abuse there are no major scratches to the face. It is also quite a good looking watch, and whilst I have another watch which I use for more formal occasions, I don’t think this would look too much out of place.
Slight gripes are: date is in US format MM DD rather than the preferred UK DD MM format and cannot be changed. The arms have a luminous coating on but it doesn’t work too well and it is near impossible to read the watch in low light, for which I knocked off a star. If Casio made it with a built in light and the option to change the date format I think this would be a winner and would be worth a slight price increase.
I bought this to replace a Casio Illuminator (with a white face that glowed brightly when the Illuminator button was pressed – very useful in the dark) that I’d had for many years and loved, but sadly Casio no longer make.
It’s a nice enough watch, and very reasonably priced, but Casio has made the retrograde step of dropping the illumination of the well-designed Illuminator (the only down-side of that model was that the straps went stiff and eventually brittle, so had to be replaced every couple of years) and most of their other watches now are remarkably ugly. In other respects it’s similar, but there’s one annoying feature – when resetting the hands between time zones, the button, which as on the Illuminator only moves the hands forwards, unlike the Illuminator when held doesn’t move to a faster speed, so resetting to an hour earlier is a slow process of going forward round 11 hours.
I’ve had several of these watches over the years, and think they are great value for money. They look good and do what it says on the tin. The last one I had which I purchased to take on holiday for the dual time feature, let water in, but it still soldiered on for the three weeks I required, then Amazon replaced it with no problem. I usually find that the watch lasts about 2 years before the strap breaks but the watch itself contimues working. I dont consider this a problem though, 2 years for an 18 watch – still good in my books. Its a pity they dropped the dial illumination feature, I found that very useful.
I am very pleased with this watch which I bought about 2 months ago. I needed something that was very clear and unfussy and I wanted analogue style which I can read at a glance. this is a ‘man’s watch’ although I am female – not a problem but if you have slender wrists the length of strap would be too long for most women I think. the ‘glass’ on the face is plastic and it has scratched a little which is why the review has 4 not 5 stars, otherwise very pleased with purchase.
